Here's the one thing I will never fucking have. Your story. And so lead with your messy ass story. Lead with your vulnerability, Lead with that shit. Because that makes me connect to you. That makes me see you're a human. Take a risk. Because it's in taking that risk that we become human. And what we're desiring more than anything in this time is human to human connection. When you share. I went through this thing and this is how I actually found this path, period. These are things that make people lean in and there are things that I purposely share because without them, my story, it could just be freaking chatgpt. And before we get started with this episode, I saw that over 50% of you guys are not yet subscribed to the podcast, which don't worry about it. I'm not offended. But I'd love to keep hanging out. I'm having a good time with you, so just subscribe to it wherever you're listening to this on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts. It helps me reach more people, reach you with our upcoming episodes and get this message out into the world. So be sure to hit subscribe. And now let's get into the episode. Welcome back to the Highest Self podcast. My name is Sahara Rose and on this podcast I love to talk about spirituality, matters of the heart, but make it modern, fun, grounded and relatable. I've been doing this podcast for nine years, which means 700 plus episodes, and I've been interviewed on at least 700 more. I've been a keynote speaker on stages at Facebook and Google and all of these different places, and have been able to create a living using my voice. I'm the founder of the Speak with Soul method and also teach people how to start their own podcast. So sharing my voice has been my thing and the thing that I have found the most healing and the most financially rewarding for women. And I feel so many of us have this deep desire to share the wisdom that is in our hearts. I guarantee you if you listen to this podcast, you are someone that has gone through incredible things. You are that friend that people come to when they're looking for advice. You are that person hanging out at the snack table and someone comes and says the deepest childhood trauma that's ever happened and then are like, wait, I've never said that to anyone before. And you naturally are that person that your friends call or send 17 minute voice notes to when they're looking for guidance. And so if you're here, I want to help. Just spruce up the crystals that is your voice with the tools and the techniques that I've learned along the way. And so I put together for this episode, seven keys to becoming a more magnetic speaker. And if you listen to the end, you'll get all seven. And if you implement these seven techniques, your speaking is going to be off the charts. So, first of all, why speak? Well, it's the only way that people will actually know the wisdom that you carry. You may have incredible insights in your mind or just share it with your best friend, but only until you actually get in front of front of a camera. You know, whether it's your phone going on Instagram live or creating a podcast studio like this, people will not know all of the depth that you hold on to. And I truly believe that we choose the obstacles that we overcome for a reason, because we're meant to go through the darkness ourself, learn the gems so we can help people on the other side. And a huge part of our healing journey is related to the actual sharing of it. And so I'm also writing my fifth book right now about my dark night of the soul, finding out my then husband had been cheating on me for seven plus years and going through a very painful divorce that unlocked all of the suppressed shadow and also gifts inside of myself to become the artist and the badass that I am today. And so sharing your voice is not just verbally sharing, but it's also writing. It's writing books. It's becoming a thought leader to help other people going through that darkness. And so writing this book right now is really having me come face to face with the final healings that I have needed to really go through almost four years later. And so I really believe that sharing our voice helps us more than anything. And along the way, we get to help people on the other side. So I've written down these seven steps that you're only going to find here on the podcast. And we're going to start with the first one, which is presence. So have you ever had a conversation with someone? Like maybe you were at a party and that person is talking to you and they're like, yeah, totally. But their eyes are kind of looking at whoever's behind you, scanning the room to see if there's someone more interesting for them to speak to? Yeah, totally. Huh. Oh, cool. That sounds really nice. And how does that make you feel? Unimportant, Forgotten. Like, if I'm sharing with someone, I can already tell they're doing the dart to see if there's someone more interesting to talk to. I'm already disengaged. And so our presence is the number one key that we have to our speaking. And presence is our availability for being here in this moment. Are you actually locked into being in this conversation? Whether it's one on one in front of a camera or on a stage, or is part of you hanging out on some other dimension and that dimension might be your own head? You know, I've interviewed hundreds of people and I can see when someone's dropped into their body with me in that moment, or someone's thinking, oh my God, this is really nerve wracking. There's all these cameras around, there's people around, I'm probably doing a bad job. And it makes sense. It makes sense that you're nervous, right? But the person who you're speaking to can feel that. And then what do we do as humans? We mirror each other. So then I start to feel nervous. Like, have you guys ever had a moment when you're talking to someone and you just like want to start crying out of nowhere? You know, I was like telling some old man something and I don't know, he had some kind of sadness to his eyes and suddenly I wanted to start crying and it wasn't coming from anything happening. And so I was mirroring his deep underlying sadness. And so we're all picking up on emotional cues of each other. So our presence is the most important thing which starts before any words are shared. I'm here, I'm locked in. And so what's a tool we can do to actually drop in for a moment in prayer and meditation before getting on a live or getting on camera or even having a conversation. And so personally for me, I love to just close my eyes, take a deep breath. And I'm very into Vedic wisdom. So I love Om Namah Shivaya, which is like praise to the Shiva energy, the energy of creation and destruction. And so that's mine. Yours can be Hail Mary, yours can be whatever you want it to be. But having timing me some sort of prayer, some sort of anchor, some sort of mantra really connects me in. The other thing I like to do is bring my energy down to my feet. We can tell energetically. So I want you to feel energetically me right now as I'm speaking to you, where in my body I am more likely connected to. And now I'm going to shift my energy and speak from up here. Now where do you think I am connected to in my body right now? Now I've shifted my energy again and I'm speaking to you connected to another energy center. What center is that? And so notice the tone of my voice, the texture of my voice, the cadence I was speaking at shifted just from me being aware of different parts of my body. The focus first one, which was more grounded, which I'm connecting to right now, is when I'm connecting to my feet. And so this causes me to slow down, become more rooted, anchored, available. When I connect to my feet, I am not afraid of the pause and I let the energy simmer. And now when I connect to my head, I go a lot faster because I'm really thinking. I'm trying to get everything across my point. I just want to make sure that we have enough time for everything that I want to say. And my voice tends to get a little bit higher, a little bit more nasally because I'm just cutting more from the mind. And I'm connected to the heart. I am feeling you wherever you are. I'm a bit emotional because I'm connected to the vulnerability of each person. I'm connected to how deeply you desire to share your story and how hard it might be to know that your story can impact other people's lives and the fears you have around other people who you know, who are connected to your story, seeing it, and that really scaring you. And I'm resonating to the part of myself that feels that too, and how hard it is for all of us to simultaneously heal and share our stories when other people are connected to it. And I'm just feeling so much compassion for the human heart of how we go through such hard things. But ultimately we are all here to just help each other and how much fulfillment we find in that. And so even the trains of thought, my mind go to shift according to where I am holding onto presence in my body. So that is how powerful it is. And that's one of my tools in my Speak with Soul method, which I will link below, which is my 21 day course to become a magnetic speaker. And so the next one I want to talk about is energy. So presence is my availability and being here. And now energy is what I bring to the table. And so there is no right or wrong. I can speak to you from this really energetic place where I'm just kind of like bouncing off the walls with you. And maybe we're just like having a lot of fun. I can speak to you like someone who's been through a lot, someone who understands what it's like to feel lost and confused and is just doing the best they can. I can speak to you like an authority, like someone who's written many books and spoken on stages and understands your process. I can speak to you like your bestie who just wants to have fun. And like, come on, let's just have some real talk right now. And so what is the energy we're bringing in? Is it high energy? Is it meditative energy? And there is no right or wrong. But I do feel every time we speak, we need to be deliberate about the energetic transfer that we are doing, because more than the words we say, it's the energy that we are passing. And so is the purpose of my communication to hype you up, to get you to believe that anything is possible, to help you see perspectives that you would have never seen before. Maybe I want to get you to walk on fire like Tony Robbins. And so I'm needing to somatically show that through my body, show that through my voice, and. And help you believe that you can, too. Or maybe I'm just here to have a conversation, and there is no agenda, and we can go whichever way you want. And I'm just here to be present with you along the way. Or maybe I'm here to help you drop in. Let's just take a deep breath and exhale out so you can tune in to your wisdom already inside of you. And so there is no right or wrong way. But notice I could have said the exact same things in all of my different voices, and the way that it would have been received is very different. And so I always share this with my podcast mentorship. But you need to kind of be a caricature of the energy that you want people to step into. If you want them to feel at peace and calm, you've got to really anchor that energy inside of yourself. Go a little bit more slowly, speak with a little bit more depth than you probably would in a conversation. And if you want them to be energized, you need to, like, probably be standing up, moving your arms, taking up space. If you're speaking on a stage, that's imperative because you need to take up space on that stage. And so speaking with a purpose is very different than having a conversation with a friend. If I was just talking to a friend right now, I'd, like, probably just be talking like this, and it probably wouldn't be very engaging for you to watch. But that's just me being normal. But because I know there is an element of my theatricness to entertain you, to keep you listening to this, I'm needing to turn myself up a notch. And it's not becoming someone else, but rather it's taking the qualities of myself and dialing them up. And so that's what energy is about. What energy do you want people to sit in? And can you dial that up? So we've got presence and energy. The next one is your voice. So beyond just the energy of your voice, we are actually receiving so much information from the tone of your voice, the texture of your voice. So as we know, sound carries frequency and it's hitting us at different octaves. That's why sound healing works. These different notes of different sound bowls are actually hitting different chakras within ourselves. Your voice is a sound bowl, and it's creating the energetic healing that it needs for the people it's meant to speak to. And it's the exact tone that you need to heal yourself. And so I'm going to really recommend singing here. And before we sing, even to open up our voice, let's just do this practice together. I did it right before the podcast because this is my. On my third hour of recording today. And so as an example, you don't always feel your most energized, but through these different practices, you can help yourself. You know, I always think actors are on set for 16 hours a day, so if they can be on set for 16 hours a day for months on end, I can do three hours of podcasting. Okay. And so here's a little practice I do when I'm very in my head to bring out my voice. So you're going to kind of lick your lips a little bit, and you're going to go like this, the horse breath, And try different sounds, different octaves, different ranges. And so what this does is it releases the voice. So you'll start to notice already your voice just has a lot more space. And it's very helpful when we have jobs and we're talking for eight hours a day, and then how are we supposed to record content? It gets you out of that thinking head and into your body's voice. And as I've done healing work, my voice has actually deeply deepened over time. If you go back to my first podcast nine years ago, you will hear such a shift in my voice. So, of course, I was 26 years old when I started it, but my voice was way more up here, and I kind of just wanted to make sure people liked me. And it was the highest health podcast. And I kind of would bring my sentences up at the end because that's just what people do to be liked. Make Themselves smaller, especially if you're in la. And so I would listen to my podcast over time and realize I don't want to do that shit anymore. And so I purposely would practice ending sentences down. Not equal, but down. I would make a note in my mind that when I end this sentence, because to me, what I thought was equal would still go up, even if just a little bit. Do you know what I mean? I think we all do this again because we feel if I make myself a little smaller, a little girlier, you'll like me. And so I would make it a point to end my sentences down. And so what that would do over time was teach me to make sentences rather than questions. I'm making a statement here and that's going to imply authority to whoever you're speaking to. And so I want you to do that practice with your voice. I have so many practices of the voice in my course, Speak with Soul. So the next key that we're going to be going into is flow. So you know those amazing conversations you have when hours pass and you're like, oh my God, we've been talking for seven hours. How did that just happen? The flow. There is nothing like being in a good cadence with someone when they're saying something and you're saying something back and you're meeting each other. And this flow happens both in conversation and both with yourself. And so what I've learned from 700 plus podcasts is instead of me having questions in my mind that I want to get through, let me be so present with my guest that wherever they take the conversation, I am so with them. And then I can ride off from that statement and we can go deeper and deeper and deeper into it. So a lot of more novice podcasters that I've seen and have been interviewed on, they're very excited and they will do all this research and write down all these questions. And so let's say I'm telling the story about being disowned by my family. It's a pretty big one. There's, there's, there's maybe a couple follow ups you could add to that. And so I say something around my dad and what he said to me and being in India and a $2 a night hut and having no idea how I was going to survive and just surrendering it all to trusting that I was put on this path for a reason. And that's when I decided to fully commit to my dharma. And then they're like, so tell me about the three doshas, you know, and it's like, okay, well, so there's this thing called Ayurveda. It's like, we can take it over here. But now I. I feel, as a guest, unmet, I don't feel seen, and I feel like I just poured out my heart. And you're just trying to get through this list of questions, but not deeply connecting to me. And so now there's going to be a disconnect between us. And I understand you're trying to get your questions across, but there's going to be a disconnect, but also for the listener. The listener is like, wait, what did she just say? Let's go deeper into that. But instead, the host wants to make sure for the listener, they're getting all their questions, but it's actually interrupting the flow. And so I always teach my podcast mentorship students, you can write a list for you, but think of it more as research than the actual list the conversation is going to be about. I feel the reason why my podcast now has 60 million plus downloads is because I. I don't have questions planned. Everyone I interview is someone that I have already experienced with in my life, whether it is I've done healing work with them, whether it is they've inspired me, whether it is they're my friend. And so I'm never, like, having my first conversation ever with someone who just sent me an email, first of all. Second of all, I want to be present with what's alive for them. And so if. If I can tell they really want to talk about this thing, instead of, like, trying to, you know, beat around the elephant, I will go right into that thing. I'm hearing you say this, and I will follow the flow of the intelligence of the conversation, which has its own dharma, has its own wisdom, because there is a third party that comes alive in a dialogue, and neither of you are in control of it. And the more I can surrender to that, the more the message that is meant to come through will come through without my ego getting in the way. And so coming back to presence, really being there with that person, not thinking about what you're going to ask next, but really being there with them. And follow the threads, follow the breadcrumbs, even if you don't know where it will take you. And the same goes. I speak a lot in Speak With Soul about, like, solo casting and channeling. Oftentimes when I'm doing it, I don't know where I'm going to go next. Sometimes I'm telling a story and I'm like, I Have a moment in my mind, where is this going? I don't even know why I'm telling the story right now. And then it will all connect. And the more I can just get out of my way and just be in that divine flow, which, if you listen to this podcast, I'm sure you've seen me do, and you're like, oh, yep, she's at the vortex. And it's magic. And it can be felt because truth can be felt. It's a resonance, It's a frequency. That's why when you go to, like, a gospel church or like this amazing Hare Krishna or whatever the vibe is for you, there's moments you can feel, oh, truth is in the room right now, now. And you can feel that when someone's in their flow. And so it's about getting out of your way and allowing the message to come through. And so flow gives us those incredible moments in a conversation that it doesn't even matter what is being said. It's an energetic transfer that's being done. And so the next thing I want to talk about is vulnerability. So we cannot truly have a podcast, truly speak on stage, let alone write a book or impact lives in any way without vulnerability. And so I have my students always come at the beginning of the mentorship. I want to help women heal. I want to inspire them to live their full potential. I want to help them connect to their boldness and their purposes and know that it all made sense. Like all of these incredible, insane things. And I'm like, tell me what brought you there. They're like my own obstacles. What were those obstacles? You, you know, just kind of like, feeling left out. How did you feel left out? Oh, you know, I was kind of, like, bullied. Tell me more. And it often takes me really coaching them to bring out these insane stories that I'm like, holy freaking. If you just led with that, I would have been like, jaw dropped. But for some reason, we're in our heads around, it's going to be too much. I don't want to trauma dump. Which, by the way, it's not trauma dumping. Trauma dumping is when the unsolicited stranger decides to give you their two hour breakup story and then proceed to get back with him. That's a trauma dump. But when you share. I went through this thing, and this is how I actually found this path, period. There's no dump here. That's alchemy. And so I think we're so afraid of coming off as heavy that we hide. We're the good Girl, the clean slate, the virgin, the maiden. Nothing's ever happened before. And what that actually does is it makes me feel alone because it makes me feel like, oh, great, you had a perfect life. Mine hasn't been. And now I can't connect with you. And so you're not actually able to impact lives without being vulnerable. And being vulnerable means taking a risk. Every single episode on this podcast, I take some sort of risk. I share something that I kind of am, like, why am I sharing this thing right now? But I know it's going to end. Anchor in the lesson in a way that, if I only spoke hypothetically, wouldn't do the same thing. Whether it is taking the conversation places that are a little bit racy, a little bit scandalous, a little bit triggering, a little bit shadow inducing. And I can tell sometimes guests, certain guests don't want to go there. And I will ask those questions. I'm sure you've seen me do this. Let. And. And sometimes if someone doesn't want to be vulnerable, I will be vulnerable. Because sometimes you've got to lean in first. And so vulnerability is the thing that makes us pay attention. It's the thing that makes us kind of get out of this passive mindset and take a seat forward. Oh, you were cheated on by your husband. You were a spiritual teacher. You had no idea. Oh, you were disowned by your parents. Oh, you lived in a hut in India for two years. I had no idea. These are things that make people lean in, and they're things that I purposely share because without them, my story, it could just be freaking chatgpt, you know, like, there's so much just advice out there, especially with AI. But here's the one thing I will never have your story. And so lead with your messy ass story. Lead with your vulnerability. Lead with the fact that you still don't know, you still struggle with the anxiety, you still have a hard time with the fuck boys, you still have hatred towards your mom. Lead with that shit, because that makes me connect you. That makes me see you're a human. And I don't want to take advice from a robot that plagiarized everything. I want to take advice from another messy ass human that's doing the best they can in this crazy time, still going through the triggers, still getting those hits of dopamine and confusion and all the things that our phones are feeding us all the time. I want to know how you're getting through. And so lead with the vulnerability. Take a risk, because it's in taking that risk that we become human. And what we're desiring more than anything in this time is human to human connection. And so that brings us to my next thing, the pause. Most of us are so afraid of pausing. And I'm not just talking about speaking. I'm talking about pausing with everything in life. If I pause this relationship, what will happen if I pause the way that I've always done things, what will happen if I pause my workflow, what will happen if I just pause? I'll lose everything. I'll fall behind. So do you know what I got to do actually instead? I got to talk twice as fast. I got to be twice as smart, twice as valuable, twice as productive, twice as everything. Because if I'm twice, then you're not going to forget about me. But what does that actually do? It passes on this energy of rush that we are constantly trying to run away from. And so, again, the energy of rush is not the energy most people want to listen to because they're already in it all the time. But if we can actually pause and take up energetic space and let the moment land and say the thing without now circling around, repeating the thing seven more times to just make sure that you got it right, but just let it drop and let you take it how you were meant to, there's so much majesty to that. You know, as I'm writing my book, I like to kind of speak a little bit more metaphorically. And my editor, she's like, you just said this insane thing. Expand more on that. But I said I don't want to because I want them to take it as it's meant to be received for them. Because my expansion to a quote, to a learning, to a teaching, is going to be very different from yours. I mean, we could take anything to be or not to be. We're all going to have different interpretations of that, especially directly related to what we're going through. And so the power of the pause allows me to give space for you to have the experience you are meant to have without me dictating it and making it mine. Because when I make it mine, it's not going to be as powerful for you. And we are so afraid of losing people that we're on the edge of our seat all the time, when actually attention, someone's energetic currency, which they're offering you, is something that you can't force yourself to. If people don't want to pay attention, they won't. And you going just twice as fast is not going to change that. But when you can energetically sit back and be on your throne and be patient and deliberate with your word and know that you don't need to worry about losing the right people. There is such a beauty in that. You know, I see on social media, some people, they're posting 20 times a day, thinking, if I just post enough, then I'll be relevant. And it's a bunch of bullshit. It's a bunch of random trends. It's a bunch of uncreative things. It's just them responding to whatever was happening in the news or whatever celebrity did to me. I am so much more drawn to the artist that has 13 posts ever. And each post is meaningful. It carries something I don't need to see a lot, but I want to feel depth. And so the power of the pause allows for that depth. That can only happen in the space between. So let's just take a moment to pause and allowing that. And so the last one. Can't believe we've already gone through all seven is relevance. How relevant is is what you are sharing to that person. And so this is why I always tell my podcast mentors, mentees, and what we spend actually the first two to three weeks on is their niche. Refining their voice, knowing exactly who they're speaking to, knowing how that person is listening to it. Are they listening to your podcast or your YouTube videos when they're at the gym, picking up their kids from school on a walk in an existential crisis? Those are very different times. Is it their break in the week where they can finally shoot the shit and be with their girlfriend? Or is it the time that they're trying to get really stimulated and learn something new? And so knowing all of these things helps us create content that is more relevant to them. Because if I. Let's say I showed up next week on this podcast and I turn into this, like, full, like, academic research thing, and, you know, all these, like, narrations and dictations and scientific. It's like you'd be like, what the happened to Sahara? You know, like, I'm here to share spiritual wisdom, make it modern, fun, grinding, relatable. And that's exactly what I told you at the beginning of this podcast. You know, like, that's the I do that's gonna show up for. And I'm gonna be me as I do it. And. And if I ever feel like I'm losing myself, I come back to it. I swear, I twerk, I make afrobeats music, and I have that side to me. And I write books and teach Vedic wisdom and Explore all of these really complex spiritual topics in a way that's digestible. That's my magic sauce. That's who I'm relevant for. The spiritual girlies that like to twerk. It is what it is, you know, and so you gotta know the crowd, right? And so speaking in a relevant way helps us really get the message across. And what I see a lot of people do is they'll start a podcast or a YouTube channel, Instagram, and they will. They'll think I am multi dimensional. And so I'm going to share every single side of myself. I'm going to share my kids and the holiday we took in Orlando, how cute they were in their little flippers. Loved that. And I'm going to share this horrible thing that's happening in the world right now in this genocide. And now I'm going to share this sexy video of me pole dancing. By the way, I'm learning it right now. And now I'm going to share this guided meditation for you to connect to your sacral chakra, but also your third eye. And then we're going to actually talk about the Lemorians. And then we're going to go into ancestral healing. And now we're going to go into human design. And now we're going to talk about interior design. Actually, did you know you should paint your ceilings? It's the room. There's a fifth wall. It's incomplete until you paint it. I'm just saying, personally, I'd be interested in all those topics, but I don't know if I would find them all from one person or one Instagram. I don't even know how I would come across that Instagram. Right. And so we think I'm interested in all these things. You know, I like to cook and I like to talk about geopolitics and I like to, you know, connect to my ancestral roots. And I'm super into trap music and raving. Like, why can't I just. And you can be your niche and your niche will have the different hands of the goddess that is you. But there needs to be an intelligence to it. Like how I said spiritual girls that love to twerk. As an analogy here, does that mean you gotta, like have Anita level torque skills? No, but it means you like to have fun. You don't take yourself super seriously. You enjoy kind of like a little bit of a more bestie, informal vibe that we have going on here. And you're super deep and prophetic and like a freaking icon on this time. And like, let's Hang out. Like, it's that. You know what I mean? Like the ones that got it. I can't explain it. It just is, you know, and so that's a niche rather than. Well, now I'm going to talk about, like, why you need to make sure you change your soil of your plants. Did you know if you bring in the same soil, the same bugs are going to come through? It's like that. I had to learn that lesson with my figs. But, like, that's not the thing my podcast is going to be about. And so I see a lot of women, we want to talk about all of our interests. And what happens is the podcast, the YouTube, the Instagram, it doesn't have a voice. And then I can't make content that's relevant. And so your niche, I always say, and I have, like, different formulas of how I do it, but an easy way that I want to take home with you as we end this is think about three different aspects of yourself. So maybe you're whimsical, maybe you are witchy, maybe you are super, like, lux. Like, what's your style? And that's one aspect of yourself. What's your tool? What's your modality? Is it breathwork? Is it astrology? Is it interior design? Is it Ayurveda? Is it helping people with their dharma? What is the tool for you? And then what's the flow? Who's it for? What's the demographic? What's going on in their lives? So for me, it tends to be more millennial woman. And so now, you know, kind of like the dialogue that we're having here. And so put those things together and you have your niche and then you get to be yourself. You don't have to be like, hi, I. I'm the gene key expert here. But you can touch upon that thing in your niche as long as it's something that's relevant to the majority of the people who would be listening to you. And so if you're someone who's like, well, I used to talk about one thing and now I want to talk about something else, I'm going to just leave this as a little eighth thing for us right here. Bring people along on the journey. Show people that you are pivoting. For example, let's say you've never shared spirituality online before, and you would love to start a podcast instead of not sharing about spirituality at all on Instagram, and then one day launching this podcast, which no one saw coming, instead, start to seed it, start to bring people in on Your journey. Hey, guys, I'm actually thinking of starting a podcast. I would love your. Your advice. What would you love for me to podcast about? Let's do a poll in my Instagram stories. Are you interested in healing? Are you interested in astrology? Are you interested in meditation and breath work? I'm buying my equipment. I'm signing up for this mentorship. I'm going through this shadow. I'm facing this fear. I'm having this idea bring people along on the journey so then they're invested in the thing. They've seen the behind the scenes. It's making sense for them. For instead of going from point A to point C, you're bringing them to point B, which is the preparation, which is, which makes the thing so much more worthwhile. Because I'm going to really want to listen to your podcast. If I've watched you go through the process of getting out of your own way and sharing your voice and finding the strength and, and the confidence that it takes to actually put yourself out there, I am so much more likely to want to listen to it than. I had no idea you were even interested in this thing. And now you're telling me you're an expert on it. What are you saying? And so that's the fear we have. People are going to say, I'm not an expert. Do you know how you become an expert? You bring people along on your process. And you don't claim you're an expert. You say, I'm learning. I have experience in this area of my life that I would like to share. And I'm not an expert in everything. But here's the one thing the school of life has taught me. And that's the thing that you get to podcast about. And I guarantee you, especially if you're listening to this podcast, there's a thing or two you could share some wisdom on. And it doesn't mean you have that thing. Figure it out to the max, right? Like, I share a lot about love and dating and heartbreak. Have I solved the global equation of marriage in this planet? Most definitely not. But I'm on the journey and I'm going through the motions myself and I'm having the awarenesses and I'm learning things and I'm healing things and I'm having conversations, I'm seeing patterns. And so who's in a better place to share the wisdom of being a spiritual woman, single, in her 30s, going through the dating journey than someone who's actually going through it versus someone who's been married for 20 years and dated in the 90s before there was social media saying, well, I've been married for 20 years, so let me give you dating advice, girl. You have no idea what you're talking about respectfully in that front. And so the fact that you're in the muck is what makes you an expert. I actually want to learn from someone who's going through the same thing I'm growing going through, rather than someone who read a bunch of research paper about it and has their PhD but has never actually experienced it. Like, would you rather listen to a podcast about ADHD and you know, feeling very overwhelmed and overstimulated all the time from someone who actually has ADHD and suffers every single day and has found different tools and practices to help them, or someone who just got their PhD in ADHD but they personally cannot relate to that. And that's something that's like a pretty big thing that people actually do really research. Now let's say something of like breakups. Would you rather get breakup advice from this person who went through a gnarly ass breakup and transformed themselves on the other side, or someone who just studied breakups, read a lot of books about it? Would you rather get advice from the person who has dealt with crippling anxiety and still wakes up with it a lot of times but has the tools and practices to shift their state throughout the day? Or the person who got their master's degree in anxiety but hasn't personally experienced it? So I actually want to learn from you because you are going through this thing because that makes me go back, relate to you. That allows you to have vulnerable stories, that allows you to be in the weeds. So the very reason why you think you can't start a podcast, you can't start a YouTube channel, you can't be a voice, is the very reason why you're meant to. So I hope this episode inspired you to share your voice in a bigger way. And again, there's two different ways to work with me. The first is my course, Speak with Soul that helps you go from awkward to confident speaker in just 21 days. There's daily 10 minute videos, practices, prompts, techniques. This course has been taken by over 2000 people. People have been featured on the news, given keynote talks, completely shifted their careers through this course. And I will have that link in a discount for you below. And then my podcast mentorship. This is my small group personal podcast where I will know you, your name, your podcast. I will be channeling for you, helping you really dissect what it is you're here to share what the name of your podcast is meant to be. The Niche, the Graphic Helping you. Even with the graphic, I give really, really good feedback on visuals and really bringing to life this message and voice you have. Because I really believe the world needs more authentic podcasters, not these AI ones. Come on, we need real people. And I would say you're actually at an advantage that you're starting now because a lot of people think, well, I'm too late. Well, actually, I'm seeing a huge rise in new content creators right now who are super relevant, super specific, super speaking to the now moment, and that person that needs to hear it. And actually, it's way easier because you don't need to do a whole pivot and everyone knows you about this one subject matter. But now you're interested in this, but this, they don't see you as the expert. You have to start fresh, like you have a clean slate. And so I actually, every single day I'm following, like, the little podcasts that are, like, brand new, but, like, super, super niche to, like, the very thing I'm interested in. Or the little Instagram that has like 1200 followers and just started. But it's like, exactly the vibe that I'm on. I'm so much more likely to follow that than the person that has millions and millions of followers. And it's, like, not relevant to me in any way. So. So you actually are at an advantage that you're starting now with a clean slate. And I would love to be the person to help support you in actually bringing the mastery and the vision to this. Like, I always think of ideas like they live in the clouds, and there's these thought forms that we channel through from our crown chakra. We ideate it into our third eye through our voice. We express it, we feel it through our heart, we take action on it through our solar plexus. We feel the pleasure and abundance in it through our sacral chakra, and we birth it through our root. And so I would love to support in being a doula for your Dharma. And so you can find that link in the show notes below for our next class. I hope this helped you share your story, and I'm so excited for all of the lives that you're going to impact as a result. I'll see you in the next one. Trust your intuition. Trust your inner wisdom. Trust your inner guidance. Close your eyes and listen. So trust your intuition. Trust your inner wisdom. Trust your inner guidance. Close your eyes. The.
