Bullshit.

watch and see as his jack golf the medium speeds and jumps the medium and hit some head on. It's the Jimmy Dore Show. Hello there everybody and welcome to the Jimmy Dore Show. My name is Keaton Weiss filling in for Jimmy this evening. Got a great show for everybody. Thanks very much for being here. Always a pleasure to get to do this and so hope everybody has a good enough time with me tonight. It's my job to entertain you and I am here to do the best that I can. Hope everybody had a good July 4th. Happy 4th of July to all of you. Except of course you Godless Communists. Tough July 4th for the Communists. Kind of tense, right? Kind of a, kind of a tense mood if you're a dirty communist. This July 4th got a lot of negative press for the communists this, this year. I tell you, communism gets very, very unfairly in the press. Gets very bad press. Communism, you know, it's very unfair what they do to the communists. It's horrible. It's terrible, terrible. They get worse pressed than me, those communists. Well, thanks everybody once again for being here. We got a great show. Kurt Metzger will be joining us a little bit later but I want to waste no time introducing our guest for the evening for these first couple of stories. Savage Joy Marie man is the host of a long running podcast where she's interviewed over 300 guests over the years including activists and public figures. A prominent disability rights advocate, she served as a national organizer, a lead organizer for the march for Medicare for all and produces in depth investigative journalism on wrongful convictions, notably advocating for prisoner Temujin Kensu who we're going to talk about this evening. Her broadcast blend sharp political commentary with humor that amplifies marginalized voices and challenges systemic corruption. She has a new book out called Our Friend Temujin about this Temujin Kenzu case. Please welcome to the program. Joy Marie Mann, my friend. Thanks for being here.
Savage Joy Marie Mann
Thanks so much for having me. It's been a minute since I've been on Jimmy show and you know what, I really have to update that because I've interviewed almost 600 people now.
Keaton Weiss
Oh wow. Well there you go.
Brianna Joy Gray
So yeah.
Keaton Weiss
Oh awesome, awesome. Well, congratulations. It has been a long run for you and yes, yes, now up to over 600 guests. Well that is awesome. And we talked about this Temu case about a year and a half ago on my show but this is the 40th anniversary of the crime for which he is still in prison. And this is just an absolutely shocking case that, you know, I always think is worth amplifying, not just because of the injustice done to one man, but because of the implications for all of us. I mean, this is really a case of the government just deciding, you know, what somebody has to take the fall for an unsolved crime. And it could be anybody. It could be anybody. I mean, if they could do this to him, they can do this to anybody. So why don't we just start off with a little video breakdown. This was a news report from a few years ago about the pretty high profile ongoing fight to overturn this wrongful conviction.

37 years behind bars For Fred Freeman, the Michigan man who now goes by Temin Kensu, convicted in the 1986 murder of a St. Clair county college student. Over the years, attorneys and journalists alike have found flaws in the argument that put him away. And today I a high profile voice added to the chorus demanding his clemency.

We think this is exactly the sort

of case that clemency is designed for,

where the facts of his innocence are extremely clear. And I just have full faith that the governor is going to come out
Brianna Joy Gray
and work with us on that.
Amira David
And today is Temujin Kensou's 60th birthday, his 37th birthday behind bars. An application for his clemency sits on the desk before Governor Gretchen Whitmer. We reached out to the state for comment, but did not immediately hear back. I'm Amira David, 7 Action News.
Keaton Weiss
Okay, so before I toss to you, Joe, I just want a brief note for the audience. You know, when you hear this story and how it went, it really is kind of difficult to believe what you're hearing. It is. It is. It borders on too strange to be real.
Savage Joy Marie Mann
That's.
Keaton Weiss
That's how darkly comic this case is. If it weren't so tragic, if there were not a man whose life was literally stolen from him for absolutely no reason whatsoever. So with that as a sort of pretext here, why don't we just start from what the crime was, who the victim was when it was committed, and how Temujin Kensou became the man with the target on his back.
Savage Joy Marie Mann
Yeah, and. And you're so right. This story is insane. And I do just want to give the precursor that I have, you know, documentation, Chord files, like, everything, all throughout my book, because I know people are going to be like, yeah, this is batshit.
Keaton Weiss
It's been reported on a mainstream media. I mean, I have. Not to cut you off, but I have a mainstream news article that we're going to read through in a little bit. So it. This sounds too crazy to be true, but it's not.
Savage Joy Marie Mann
Yeah. So 40 years ago, November 5, 1986, a young gentleman, Scott Mackam, he was 19. He was shot in the side once in his community college parking lot. And he was the mayor's son. So Port Huron, Michigan, is the area. And of course, since he was the mayor's son, we got to finish this now. This needs to be expeditious. We need someone to pay for this. Temin was known as kind of like this bad boy. He was never, like, in trouble for anything, like physical or bad or whatever. But he was in a rock and roll band. He had long hair. He wrote a Harley leather jacket. You know, just one of those people. Especially back then. It was during the whole satanic panic nonsense and all of that. Now you look at people like that and you're like, whatever, it's time. It doesn't. But back then, you know, he was looked at as okay, he's up to no good. He was dating a girl who was not the most healthy to be dating, and her and her sister recommended him. As far as perhaps one of the people who killed Scott, now 12 or. Excuse me, over a dozen witnesses came forward and said that he was almost 500 miles away at the moment with a receipt showing his car was broken down and he was waiting for the parts to come in. So they had, you know, this guy who they wanted to pin it on. But you have over a dozen witnesses saying, wait, we literally saw him. And they accounted for every moment of the day. So you have, you know, how can we pin it on him? We. He looks like he could be, like, the perfect fall guy. So we got to make this work. So they. One of the guys actually asked him if he knew time travel because he was very into martial arts, which was like, you know, nunchucks and everything. That was very weird back in the 80s where he lived. So they were like, yeah, do you do time travel? They had to think of something to get him almost 500 miles away at that time. So then they came up with this theory that he must have hired a private plane. Temujin was actually on medical assistance. He was getting food stamps. He had no money at all. His girlfriend was eight and a half months pregnant. Apparently, he just goes to the airport, finds a guy hanging around and just a pilot who says, yeah, you know what? I will fly you almost 500 miles away because, you know, I'm just hanging out. There's also a blizzard at this point. No cell phones, no other car or anything. So apparently, according to the prosecution, he gets this guy who's just chilling at the airport in a blizzard. He flies him almost 500 miles. He has a getaway car set up for him to go kill Scott. And then he. The pilot waits around for the car to come back to him, and then he flies him back home. No pilot, no plane, no flight log, nothing. But this is what they're going with, which inadvertently acknowledges the fact that he was not in the area. So they're already saying, you know, yeah, I think they're right. Like, he has witnesses. We gotta say he wasn't in that area somehow.
Keaton Weiss
So nine of these witnesses testified in court that they placed him over 400 miles away from the crime within hours of the crime having taken place. So the theory was that he chartered a round trip private plane to go commit this crime and then fly back to where he was. That was the theory. And that theory apparently passed muster at trial. So adding on to this, they had, I guess, an expert witness testify at the trial. A pilot. Right. And do you want to say who that. Who that pilot was?
Savage Joy Marie Mann
Well, a lot of the information was found out after the trial, unfortunately, and it turns out it was the judge's private pilot. So, yeah, inconvenient for tem.
Keaton Weiss
So, okay, so already this just sounds so insane. So I just want to read from NBC news here. Aviation experts dispute plane theory used to convict Michigan's Ninja Killer. Speaking to, you know, your point about the satanic panic and all of the sort of, you know, conformity of the day, you could see just in the branding, a smear campaign against this guy right from jump. Three aviation experts have written letters to Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer in support of a bid for clemency by a state prisoner nicknamed the Ninja Killer, who has been fighting to overturn his murder conviction for more than 30 years. The letters, which were delivered to Whitmer's office by Temujin Kensu's legal team on December 5, cast doubt on the sensational theory presented at trial that the then 23 year old could have chartered a private plane to fly him from one end of the state to the other, shot the victim and returned home without leaving a trace. It's so improbable, it's unbelievable, said Harvey Setter, 82, who wrote one of the letters. Setter, now retired, managed the Delta County Airport in Escanaba, Michigan, between 1982 and 1999. The two other letters were written by the former owner of an airport service station and a commercial pilot who both offered a similar assessment to Setters based on their knowledge of local airports connected to the case and past experience with the key witness behind the plane theory. The men say they were not previously contacted by authorities. Kensu, now 60, has insisted since his arrest that he had nothing to do with the fatal shooting of Scott Macklem, 20, a student at St. Clair Community College, in a campus parking lot in 1986. No physical evidence has ever connected Kensu to the murder. At trial, nine alibi witnesses placed him in Escanaba, more than 400 miles away from the crime scene, in the hours before and after the murder. But Mike Wendling, the current top prosecutor in St. Clair county, dismissed the plain theory as a red herring. Wendling said in an interview that he's convinced the jurors convicted Kensu in part because they didn't believe the alibi witnesses. Nine witnesses. Nine witnesses didn't believe them. Three other people testified at trial. They believe they saw Ken sue, who went by Fred Freeman before he converted to Buddhism, in prison on campus the morning of the killing. If you were to sit down and look at this case fresh again, Freeman would still be the leading suspect, Wendling told NBC News. Which I think is just kind of an insane thing to say. Well, he's still the most likely suspect. That's not the threshold you have to meet as a prosecutor. You have to prove your case beyond a reasonable doubt. Right.
Savage Joy Marie Mann
And it's easy for them to say because they never treated anyone else like a suspect. They never interviewed anyone else. So yeah, he's most likely because he's only one you ever had.
Keaton Weiss
Right, right, exactly. So you mentioned, you know also, and you write about this in the book, some of the corruption surrounding the case at and around the time of the trial. Do you want to talk about that a little bit?
Savage Joy Marie Mann
There's so much so I'll do like my. Just a brief synopsis. The prosecutor, defense team and judge all knew each other and were working together. There was dirty money involved. There were other politicians involved. The prison staff paid a guy, Philip Joplin, to say that Temujin admitted to him that he committed this crime and then later recanted when he got sick with cancer. Temujin's so called defense, who was a public defender, was notably a. An alcoholic and did crack cocaine throughout the entire trial, was disbarred. He did not get a new trial even despite, even though his other clients did get a new trial. There's just so much. It is, it is a very, very poorly written movie.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, no, I mean if you would really not believe this, if this were a script, you would think it is too far fetched and too absurd. And that's why this has been, you know, a fight for the 40 years that this man has been in jail. I mean this is everybody's worst nightmare is that you just get swept up into the system for no reason. Obviously here you had a connected person who was killed. There's tremendous pressure on the police to solve the case. When a mayor's son is killed, that can't go unsolved and you have to get somebody. And this guy was just so obviously railroaded that nine witnesses can testify under oath they saw him 400 miles away. And the explanation at trial was that he chartered a private plane to and from the crime scene. I mean, it's just beyond laughable. So much so, apparently that Gretchen Whitmer, current governor of Michigan, apparently her father, who has since passed away, had lobbied her to commute his sentence. Is that correct? And she has apparently not commented on this case one way or the other.
Savage Joy Marie Mann
Yeah, and that's what's so frustrating, because in this past May, it was 40 years, he went in at 23. He is now 63. And he is known as the most famous wrongful conviction in Michigan and one of the most famous in our country. She was well aware of him. She has a history working in law, as many politicians do. She knew of him. We have sent thousands of emails and postcards and letters and we call non stop. She has never made a statement either way, which is the worst thing, because she knows he's innocent to the point that she's never had the backbone to even say, hey, I, I think he's guilty, I won't let him out. She won't say that because she knows he's not guilty and she knows the pushback would be astronomical. She is talking about running for president and she has had his clemency papers on her desk for seven years now. Temujin is represented by eight innocence organizations. He has Khalil Ali, who was in the video, she's in my book as well. You know, he has the lead advocate of the Supreme Court of India, tweets support for him. I mean, his support goes worldwide. And some of your favorite movie directors, actors and such have more on the down low, but they have met with Whitmer and stuff on his behalf. She will not budge. I get into this in the book. Corruption always comes down to money. And it comes down to the fact where this man has already wasted 40 years of his life. And you know, another thing, I digress a bit, but something that's very difficult for him, understandably, when he calls me from prison, he talks a lot about how people he knows in his wing who are being let out, who do the most disgusting, just awful things to family members, things like that, and they get out in like 10 years. And he's like, I supposedly not to minimalize, minimize this and any way, shape or form, because this man was a victim, but he was shot one time. And here's this man 40 years later, no possibility of parole. And he's just in there like trying everything we have done. Everything. So at that point I'm like, look, I can't believe nobody's ever written a book. I'm doing it.
Keaton Weiss
Well, the book is called Our Friend Temujin the Wrongful Conviction of Temujin Kensu. You put me in touch with Temujin. I got to talk to him on the phone once after we did our first interview about this over on my show about a year and a half. And, you know, I think a big part of it, I mean, sure, state politics, money, relationships, all that. I mean, New York is a machine politics state. I'm not as familiar with the intricacies of Michigan politics, but I think a huge part of this is the fact that, you know, she does not want to be perceived as soft on crime. I mean, you see, you know, Democrats in particular can often be even worse than Republicans on this issue because they have a reputation for being soft on crime. You remember Bill Clinton, when he was running for president, he flew to Arkansas to oversee the execution of a man who was essentially, and I don't say this to be crude, I mean literally a mentally retarded man, a man who had tried to kill himself after committing a murder. He ended up lobotomizing himself. And the man literally had the mentality of a child, and his name was Ricky Ray Rector. And Bill Clinton, because he was running for president, flew to Arkansas, made a big theatrical show of executing this guy in a display of performative cruelty meant to convince people that he was tough on crime. And Gretchen Whitmer, I'm sure, rationalizes this to himself. Well, I'm a woman. And so if I'm a woman and I'm going to run for president, I have to show I'm tough, which means I can't let a murderer out of jail. Even though her own father apparently had been lobbying her to commute his sentence. That's. That's how obvious it is. That's how outrageous it is. And it's just. It's just, it's unconscionable. I mean, to. To be the kind of person who has the power to try and get this guy some piece of his life back that was just stolen for him for, for. For no reason. And to decline to do that because of your. Your own political ambitions, it's just. It's craven beyond what most of us can fathom.
Savage Joy Marie Mann
And there are people on her staff who also want him out. I mean, this is a very, you know, a lot of people are very unapologetic. He. I see him, I've known him six Years now. I, and I flew out to meet him in prison, interviewed him for over four hours and I'm 85% blind. So I convinced them to, after a long process, convince them to let me bring in a tape recorder because it's hard for me to read and write without my electronics, which you can't bring in. So I have the first, the only recording in over 30 years in Michigan prison because of that. So yeah, something good came out of my blindness. But anyway, when I went to see him, it was, it became so much more clear what he deals with on an everyday basis. It is so filthy, so nasty. People are so rude. The people who like work in the prison are, oh, they'll treat you like trash too because you're visiting. Even myself as a journalist who's not like, you know, one of them or however they refer to them. Temujin says, they say that even me, it didn't matter. Like they think you are all just complete scum. And it takes its toll, of course, mentally, physically and as we spoke before we went live, Temujin's not well, health wise.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, he is sick. He has a mass in his brain. Could be cancer. Not getting the treatment that he needs for it. It's just, it's just a horrible story and it's, it's a story about how much your, how many rights we in this country. You know, you have rights on paper but if, if the government wants you, they'll come get you and if they need somebody, they'll go get somebody. And it's just really scary. It's very sad. But it's a very important story and I'm so glad that you've been highlighting it. So we're going to keep you from one more segment before we wrap this segment. Just tell people where they could find your book and learn more about this case, please.
Savage Joy Marie Mann
Yeah, so you can get my book at barnes&noble.com or Amazon.com I do keep Temujin updated with book sales and if you leave comments and the reviews or anything like that. He sends his love, Keaton, and to Jimmy for having me on. He is a big fan and he loved, you know, speaking with you as well. He gets so excited and it means so much. Any, you know, I always tell him about positive comments or anything. It keeps them going. So anyone who buys this book and can share the story, we appreciate it so much. It's so important to, to get this story out because I don't know how long he has left, quite honestly.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, yeah. And you know, I'VE heard you say in the past that you suspect that they want him to die in prison so that they never have to actually face what they did and they never have to be held accountable for what they did to him. If he dies, he, he goes away. So once again, a very sad story, but a story worth highlighting nonetheless. So thank you for sharing that with us. Okay, we're going to go. Absolutely. Yeah, we're. Okay. We're going to go right into our next story here, so I'll reset this. Welcome to the Jimmy Dore show, everybody. Keaton Weiss here with Savage Joy Marie man, who is an author, podcaster and activist, very prominent East Palestine activist. And so there is some news out of East Palestine, Ohio this week. A new study, new study suggests, look at that, health damage from exposure to Ohio toxic train spill. Wow, that's really surprising. I didn't see that coming. I thought it was safe to go back home and everybody was being paranoid and you know, being a bunch of grandstanders for, for making a big deal out of this here. Research finds immune systems still responding to toxic chemical exposures related to East Palestine derailment In the weeks after the East Palestine train wreck culminated in a towering fireball and chemical release in the small Ohio town, Jessica Boersma was seriously exposed to the stew of compounds emitted from the derailment site. Boersma lives less than a quarter mile away and as a city council member, she had to spend significant time at the site coordinating with first responders. Now, the first long term research carried out on East Palestine residents exposed to the disaster suggests how it may have affected her. Blood drawn six months after the accident showed signs of chronic inflammation and altered cell counts, suggesting the chemical exposure had damaged her body. More broadly, the new peer reviewed pilot study that checked blood samples suggests that some East Palestine residents immune systems were still responding to toxic chemical exposures by fighting off an attack or repairing their bodies. The research did not look for particular diseases. Compared with a control group, East Palestine residents showed higher numbers of red blood cells, higher hemoglobin levels, inflammation and an increase in the number of cells the body dispatches to attack and eat chemicals in order to remove them from the body. The East Palestine residents also showed higher levels of proteins that work to repair tissue damage and lower numbers of cells that fight infection, which suggests a response to a chemical exposure. This pilot shows evidence that the bodies of those who lived in close proximity to the site were still fighting and repairing from a toxic exposure, said Erin Haynes, a University of Kentucky study co author. The researchers will next Check a larger group of residents and first responders for the same issues. The studies are part of a broader University of Kentucky led effort to track long term health problems in East Palestine residents. So this was a couple days after the incident. A guy who really, when you look back on this, you know, as disastrous as this Trump second term has been, when you look back and you see this guy, it is really hard to imagine that he was president for four years and that he thought he could be president for another four years. So here he is midway through his term, talking about meeting with the residents of East Palestine because famously, of course, Trump beat him to the spot.
Kurt Metzger
Every time I think of Zoom, that tone.
Donald Trump
Miser. Zooming. Who?
Keaton Weiss
Let me answer the question.
Donald Trump
The answer is that I, I had a long meeting with my team and
Keaton Weiss
what they're doing, you know, we were there two hours after the training went down, two hours.
Kurt Metzger
I spoke with every single major figure
Donald Trump
in both United in both Pennsylvania and.
Keaton Weiss
Oh my God, that is just absolutely brutal. That is just brutal. And meanwhile, Donald Trump and then Senator J.D. vance beat him to the spot. Here they are making their big trip to East Palestine.
Benjamin Netanyahu
All right, guys.
Kurt Metzger
All right, guys.
Keaton Weiss
So they're very excited to see him there. You've been to East Palestine, Ohio, how many times since this accident?
Savage Joy Marie Mann
Five.
Keaton Weiss
Five times. Five times. So you've met with a lot of the people. I don't know if you're familiar with any of the people cited in this report. I know you've done a lot of interviews there.
Savage Joy Marie Mann
Yeah, and I was there that day that Trump was there. And the interesting thing, I digress about a bit, but Biden, when he says he met with people, the truth is he met with three people and they were pre selected and they work for an organization that Hillary Clinton is connected to. So they were like aspiring politicians.
Keaton Weiss
Right.
Savage Joy Marie Mann
They were not activists. They were not one of them didn't even live in the vicinity of anything. It was, it was a total shit show. He did absolutely nothing. He didn't meet with anyone who was truly affected, who needed to be truly heard. But as far as crumbling, there's a lot, I mean, East Palestine as a whole hates Trump, hates him because of what he's done, like nothing. But when he was there, I was standing with some of my friends who were, you know, who had signs and were crying and pleading, help us, help our children, help us. Just at the motorcade as it was going by, and I have it on my page, it was heartbreaking because you see these little kids, you know, wearing gas masks for children. Never knew there was such a thing. And the parents are just begging. Not to mention, Vance is from the area and he used to go and fight for them in court. That's what's so bananas. They actually thought they would get some relief when he was elected because he. You can Google it or go on YouTube. You can check, you know, him going in court and fighting for people of East Palestine. That's why it is so disgusting. About a year ago, he came out and did a press conference. I'm going to be working firsthand with East Palestine residents. Nobody knows what the hell he's talking about. Everyone knows everyone. And we're all. They're all like, I didn't talk to him. Did you talk to him? And nothing. Nothing has happened.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah. I mean, we see a headline this week after Bold Pledge, EPA Shelves, Microplastics Testing in US Drinking Water. When I had you on my show last, we did a story about how the EPA is now placing a zero value on human lives when factoring in the cost benefits of, you know, regulating dangerous chemicals out of certain systems. Right. I forget the exact particulars of the story, but this headline is definitely in keeping with that. Just betrayal after betrayal. This was something that the Maha coalition, which was very instrumental in getting Trump into the White House, cared a lot about. They signaled they were going to go the other way on this. And now, what do you know? So in your experience, I mean, you said you were there on the day that, that Trump went there, they obviously were furious at Biden from jump. We saw a lot of the comments that the mayor had made about Biden. Rightfully so, obviously, no argument there. Now that, now that Donald Trump has let them down, what do you sense is a political consequence of this? Because this was always a story where I, I kind of flagged from day one. You know, when you talk, when you hear stories like this or in like a place like Flint, Michigan, you just can't help but wonder where all of that despair goes, how all of that gets channeled. Because, you know, these are just forgotten pockets of the country that Trump really exploited as part of his messaging both times he ran. That's why he did very well in places like this. But where's the beef? There is none.
Savage Joy Marie Mann
Yeah, I mean, I gotta say, it's. It's nothing but voter apathy. You know, as a whole, at this point, the people I speak with say, I don't give a. If I ever vote again, there is no point. Politicians are not your friends. They. They don't care about Us that when we have someone in our area who goes to the White House and they're not helping us, you know, it's been one person after another. And I mean, coverage wise, it's me, it's you guys, and it's status quo and it's News Nation, that's it. So they look at things like that and they're like, okay, nobody really even covers us. Like it's been over three years now. Does anybody care like what is going on? And you have these people who have this, you know, insane amount of pressure and they just, they ignore the people. Anyway. The, the woman, you, her name was Jessica. In the little bit of the article you read, she was on the city council. She ignored the pleas of these people for three years and then left the council because she moved. And now she wants to talk about how things are affecting. And we're seeing this a lot, unfortunately. We are seeing a lot of new people coming out because now they are acknowledging they're being affected as well. I was told this is a, this is breaking news. I was told this about a couple weeks ago. I wasn't allowed to share it. I was told again today and I was given permission to share it. Now as far as the residents have, by surveying themselves, there are 64 people in East Palestine and the direct vicinity of. With cancer.
Keaton Weiss
Wow. Wow.
Savage Joy Marie Mann
64 people.
Keaton Weiss
And it's a very low population town. Right. Do you know what about the population of East Palestine? It's got to be around a thousand.
Savage Joy Marie Mann
What's that?
Keaton Weiss
I mean, I'm, I'm just guessing. I'm guessing about a thousand.
Savage Joy Marie Mann
Oh yeah, East Palestine itself. I'd be surprised if it were that. Yeah, yeah.
Keaton Weiss
So that's, that's pretty huge.
Savage Joy Marie Mann
That's pretty, it is huge. And that's not the only issue. I mean, there's nodules on lungs. You have eight year old girls who are starting to menstruate. You have little boys bleeding when they urinate. I mean like, not to be graphic and I hate to, you know, say stuff like that, but this is what our government does to us and then ignores us when we're like, this is actually completely inhumane. And it's, you know, it's eugenics of the poor, essentially. You guys are, you know, rural. You're poor, you're expendable, whatever. Deal with it.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, Notice, you know, they, they kept insisting it was safe to go back home and so. No, you can go back home. It's no worries. Well, what are we going to do? What are we going to Build housing for all these people. Well, you had no problem building housing for people when the housing was in the form of an ice jail. No, you build ice jails all over the country. We can house as many people as we need to. Give people beds to lay on so that they can wait until it's safe to move back home. No, can't do that. Of course. It's, again, just another really terrible story. And one of the things that jumps out when you read a new study like this is unfortunately, the nature of these things, especially, you know, public health stories, is it takes so many years to get reliable data on the effects of these things that by the time you do, they've kind of come and gone from the news cycle. So it's difficult to get eyeballs on these stories by the time you really know enough to get a full picture. But that's the situation here. And so, you know, you have been very, very steadfast in. In your work around this story. And obviously, it's. It's always great to talk to you. Before we wrap. Can you just tell people where they can follow you?
Amira David
Yeah.
Savage Joy Marie Mann
On X, I'm at Savage Joy Marie 1. I do have a Facebook mainly for family and stuff, so I'm not very busy there. But my YouTube, you can also just type in Joy Marie Mann or Savage Joy. Yeah. And then my book, Amazon.com or barnes and noble.com.
Keaton Weiss
that's right. The book is our friend Temujin the Wrongful Conviction of Temujin Kenzu, which we covered thoroughly in a separate clip, but you could find that at barnes and noble.com Savage Joy Marie, man, great to see you again, my friend. Always a pleasure. Thanks so much for joining us.
Savage Joy Marie Mann
You as well. Thanks so much. And I know you said you're. You're covering spoiler Force the Vote, a little thing on that. And I just want to say thank you, Jimmy. Because of that, that quite literally changed my life. I was the disabled speaker for the town hall for the 122,000 views that night. And I spoke at the protest, and I was so involved with that, and it just changed my life as far as being a disability advocate. So, yes, force the vote.
Keaton Weiss
All right, well, great to hear. Thanks for. Thank you for sharing that. Appreciate that. And great to see you, as always. Thanks so much.
Savage Joy Marie Mann
Thanks so much. You too.
Keaton Weiss
Okay, bye. Bye. All right, that's Savage Joy Marie Mann. Gonna take a couple of chats, and then we're gonna take a little break to bring in Kurt Metzger. Kurt Metzger's just back From Iran. Hope he had a good time at the funeral. Just kidding, Kurt. Don't want to get you into no trouble. That was one of them jokes I make. So many reasons as our Dean W. Why defund the police? Makes sense. These types of cases should never happen. There you go, Roger Meadows. I wish Dems were tough on crime. White collar crime. Thank you, Roger Meadows. Indeed. Matthew, thanks for $5 for the Keaton mullet fund. You want me to grow. You want me to grow a mullet? That takes a lot of maintenance. I. I don't usually maintain my hair enough to grow mullet because then I'd have to keep the top short and then just grow a little squirrel tail at the back. Right. Seems like a lot of work, but hey, one five dollar donation at a time and maybe I'll think about it. Chili op, hangle frat. Thanks for the $50. That's a nice donation. Really got to seize the opportunity to dress up as Joe Biden for Halloween this year. Also good for East Palestine to get more coverage. Yeah, Joy has been on that case from the beginning. She's made five trips there herself. All right, it looks like that's all we got in the chat department for now. We'll take a quick break and we'll be back with Kurt Metzger. All right, we're back here. We're back. Thanks everybody very much. Gonna bring in Kurt Metzger over here. Nice digs. What's up, Chris?
Kurt Metzger
Oh, I. Do you like my new place? It's nice, right?
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, nice. Nice new place. Is. Is that the ayatollah's guest house there? If he put you up nice.
Kurt Metzger
This is a condo in border of Gaza.
Keaton Weiss
Oh, okay.
Kurt Metzger
A little real estate on the side.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, just. Just. Just east of the yellow line there, right?
Kurt Metzger
Yeah, but pretty soon over it.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, yeah. One of Jared Kushner's new complex is there. You know, Jared keeping warm.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah, he's got a beautiful place in Albania too. You gotta see Albania.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, yeah, yeah, they got flamingos there. I hear they're having a problem out there with the riff raff, you know?
Kurt Metzger
You know, it's like Trump's daughter can't discover a new island while swimming anymore.
Keaton Weiss
I know. The problem is, you know, people are jealous. You know, there's, there's, there's. There's a lot of jealousy, a lot of resentment, a lot of class warfare nowadays. How is your fourth of July? Did you spit on any communists on the fourth of July?
Kurt Metzger
I did buy down there in Texas. I did buy barbecue in the Texas Way.
Keaton Weiss
There you go.
Kurt Metzger
Do you like fourth of July? Or as dogs call it, the end of the fucking world.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, I know. It's animal cruelty is what it is.
Kurt Metzger
The number of lost dogs right now because my girl just found the dog. We're trying to trace its lowjack to see. I think it got abandoned, but, like, the fireworks scared the hell out of them. So it's raised like super high right now the day after 4th of July because dogs freak out and just run into the. Oh, yeah, it's looking crazy.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, no, I bet. Not bad. Pretty crazy stuff. Well, we got some stories that we're going to get into tonight. Welcome to the Jimmy Dore Show. Everybody keep moist here with Kurt Metzger filling in from. For Jimmy. It's a sad day for me. It's a sad day for me because I really thought I was going to get another, I don't know, 36 years out of my Graham Platner voice. You know, Graham Platner.
Kurt Metzger
Now, is Graham Platner the one with the weird tattoo who's a Democrat?
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly.
Kurt Metzger
Okay.
Keaton Weiss
Exactly. Yeah. They pulled him off the front lines of Ukraine and thought they could make him a senator, apparently.
Kurt Metzger
Was he really in Ukraine or.
Keaton Weiss
No, I'm just saying that because he's got a Nazi tattoo, right?
Kurt Metzger
Oh, yeah, he got. That's right, he got that. Didn't he get it in Ukraine or something?
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, he should have. He should have. He would have gotten a lot more mileage out of it if he got it in Ukraine. Don't want to get a Nazi tattoo in, you know, you know, bum fuck Virginia. That's no good. You're going to get a Nazi tattoo somewhere. You got to get it in Ukraine. But Politico comes out with the bombshell today. So if you were on Twitter around 2 o' clock in the afternoon, you saw some rumblings that there was going to be a big story. He had canceled some campaign appearances. And so here it is. Boom. Exclusive. Woman who dated Graham Platner says he sexually assaulted her. So we're gonna read through this. A woman.
Kurt Metzger
Is my mic better? Wait, wait one second. Is my mic better? Because I guess I was using my.
Keaton Weiss
Oh, what's that?
Kurt Metzger
Okay, now.
Keaton Weiss
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. You sound like it was it. Was it on the other thing.
Kurt Metzger
I just got a note. Yeah, yeah, sorry, I just want to check for.
Keaton Weiss
You got it.
Kurt Metzger
Dig into this.
Unknown Caller 1
No problem.
Keaton Weiss
Exactly. A woman who dated main U.S. senate candidate Graham Platner says he forced her to have sex with him nearly five years ago, despite her repeated objections. An allegation Platner denies. The woman, a 41 year old Maine resident named Jenny Racicot, detailed the alleged incident to Politico in three interviews over the past two weeks. I think that's how you say it. Her name, Racicot. You know, I always feel like there's pressure to get a name right when the person's been in the news long enough. But she's only been in the news a few hours. So if I get her.
Donald Trump
Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
And you know, as soon as how I'm ignoring the Epstein files, I don't think she got a good shot. See how I'm totally overlooking the evidence from the Epstein files like a jerk off? This should be a real humdinger.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah. Politico also spoke with a man Racicot dated and confided in the years after the alleged incident and reviewed documents including emails between Raysakat and her therapist and messages between Raysakot and an acquaintance whom she warned against getting involved with Platner years before he ran for office, Racat said. She said she had an on and off relationship with Platner, who is now the Democratic Senate nominee in Maine for more than two years before he entered her rural Maine home uninvited one night in late 2021, deeply intoxicated and forced himself on her while she repeatedly told him to stop. She said she cut off contact with him after telling him the encounter was not consensual. I remember him grabbing my pelvis and being really forceful of me, she said. I remember the specific moment where I thought to myself, like, this is no longer my choice. Platner denied the allegations. These allegations are troubling, serious and false. Any accusation of non consensual behavior is categorically untrue.
Kurt Metzger
Why do you have to say categorically that doesn't. You know.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah. Categorically is one of the most overused words in the English language.
Kurt Metzger
Does that that makes him less believable just using the word categorically untrue?
Keaton Weiss
Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
Weird caveat. Like I don't understand why you say it. What is that supposed to mean? Maybe I'm just dumb.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah. I don't know. I mean, this behavior. Any accusation of non consensual behavior is. Is untrue. You don't need the word categorically.
Kurt Metzger
Right. So in the category of true and untrue, this would be in the cat. In the section of untrue.
Keaton Weiss
Categorically, yes. This is in the untrue section. Yes. Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
Something weird about that. Well, I don't know.
Keaton Weiss
No, he's toast. He's told. He's. He's done. He's done. This. This. This gets. This gets. This gets pretty bad. Racicot previously described reckless and unsettling behavior by Platner to the New York Times, but says she didn't go public with the specific assault claim because she didn't want to be known as a grape victim. We'll say here. Racicot said she later felt compelled to go public about her experience because the reaction to the Time story was dominated by controversy about another woman, Lindsay Fifield, who alleged Platner mistreated her and faced attacks because of her ties to the Republican Party. Contacted by Politico, Fifield stood by the allegation she made to the Times and declined to comment further. Now, to be clear, Fifield never, never alleged that he sexually assaulted her or anything that seemed like a completely manufactured Zionist hit piece. I covered that pretty extensively on. On our show.
Kurt Metzger
The Fifield One.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, the Fifield one. Yeah. Yeah. She was being coached by Bethany Mandel, one of the most notorious Zionist freaks online.
Kurt Metzger
She related to Howie?
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, I don't believe so, because I.
Kurt Metzger
They say that about Howie as well.
Keaton Weiss
Fifield was one of the women for Kavanaugh. Like, she defended Kavanaugh on basically the same grounds that she was going after Platner. Like, that definitely seemed like. Like a hit job. And my position at the time was that this is obviously a coordinated smear, which both things could be true. Like, there could have been a coordinated smear against this guy. And also this accusation could be credible.
Kurt Metzger
Why did I.
Keaton Weiss
Seems like, to me, I thought he
Kurt Metzger
was the one that was like, the APAC guy. No, I thought. I thought when he first popped out, we were covering him because he had some weird Nazi tattoo and he was like, the APAC hot pick. But maybe I'm remember.
Keaton Weiss
No, no. The APAC hot pick was the one he was running against, recruited Janet Mills. Chuck Schumer got Janet Mills to run against him.
Kurt Metzger
That's right.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, exactly.
Kurt Metzger
They want to win. Why they go, yes.
Keaton Weiss
Okay, now, yeah, so he was the anti APAC guy. Which means. I mean, if you're running. If you're an anti APAC guy and you have this kind of in your past, you have to know they're going to dig it up on you. Like, it's incredibly reckless and stupid to think that you're going to be able to run for Senate, and this is not going to come out. And apparently this accusation is years old. It's not like this woman just came out of nowhere and is telling a story. There's documentation that she had told this to other people before he even decided to. To run for.
Kurt Metzger
Why was he chosen to run by whichever oligarchs control Maine? Like, why was he chosen for that?
Keaton Weiss
That I don't know. I don't know what kind of clout the oyster shucking lobby has up there, but I guess that's something we'll have
Kurt Metzger
probably a lot, actually.
Keaton Weiss
I mean, there's gonna be a lot of stories about that now. Going to be. That's going to be a subject of inquiry.
Kurt Metzger
Stiffen laws on lobster traps. Stealing lobster.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, exactly.
Kurt Metzger
Don't steal lobster.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah. My part of the story, Sweet Caroline is going to be the official song of Maine. That's one of their big demands. My part of the story was just a read over race, a Cot said in an interview. And the story was Lindsay and the accusations of her being politically motivated race. Akat said she was torn over coming forward, in part because she agrees with Platner politically. Well, one of the reasons I didn't come forward, I could have made a very mean joke there, but I won't. I'm gonna. I'm gonna. If it's not my show, I'm gonna spare Jimmy the backlash. I thought.
Kurt Metzger
Consider it. I've never once done that.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, I know that's not really your style, but I'm gonna. I'm gonna be a good guess.
Kurt Metzger
Probably that's what you should do.
Unknown Caller 1
Yeah.
Keaton Weiss
Uh, one of the reasons I didn't come forward sooner was the huge moral conflict that I had between supporting his politics but not supporting him as a person. She said. I just want the truth out there. I just want people to have a whole scope of who he is as a person. In the weeks after the alleged assault, Racy Cot said she considered going to the police, but struggled with shock and confusion about what had happened to her and did not file a police report. Even as time passed, she said she felt uncomfortable potentially telling a police officer about such a personal experience and feared retaliation from Platner. At first, she confided only in her therapist, who she continues to see. Politico also spoke with a friend Racicada told about the alleged assault last summer, shortly after Platner launched his campaign. The friend, to whom Politico granted anonymity due to fear of social and professional backlash, recalled Rays Akat telling her about the incident, including that Platner had been, quote, very drunk and wouldn't take no for an answer. Racat said she was contacted by the New York Times in the spring and shared off the record that Platner had assaulted her. She told the Times that she had some positive memories of her relationship with Platner, but thought he did not respect women and had cut off contact with him after an incident in 2021 when Platner had come over drunk. But the Times article stated that Racicot declined to elaborate about what had happened, only describing his behavior as reckless and unsettling.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah.
Keaton Weiss
On MSNow last month, after the New York Times report, Platner denied claims that he had physically mistreated women. Anything alleging physicality, anything alleging that I knew what my tattoo was, these are the statements of somebody who's politically motivated, he told Ms. Now, alluding to unrelated allegations about a tattoo resembling a Nazi symbol. Platner had the tattoo resembling a Nazi symbol covered up last fall and said he had not known what the symbol meant. Racicot said she was bothered by Platner's public denial that he had been physical towards women. I know that he is capable of putting his hands on women, she said. So I don't believe that to be the truth. Racicot also shared details about the alleged assault to the man she dated after Platner, who she began dating in 2022. The man, who was granted anonymity out of concern for his personal privacy, told Politico that Racicot had told him in bits and pieces about a bad experience with Platner before confiding the full details of what had happened in 2023. His account of what Racicat told him about the incident matched what Rays Akat told Politico. Racicat shared with Politico a series of private Facebook messages she exchanged with an acquaintance in 2023, about a year and a half after the alleged ass and well before Platner launched his political career, in which she cautioned the acquaintance against getting involved with Platner. In the messages, Racicot said she had, quote, ended up in a bad situation with him, describing Platner as consensually careless and saying, he doesn't listen to you when drunk. Reached by Politico, the acquaintance said she received the messages, but declined to comment. Politico granted her anonymity at her request to protect her privacy in her main community. So, yeah, that is what gives these some credibility, is the fact that she talked about this before he ever decided to run for office. It's not as though these allegations just surfaced right now. So here is Graham Platner coming out with a Statement where he essentially walks right up to the line of withdrawing his candidacy.
Graham Platner
You address the troubling, serious and false allegations against me. Any accusation of non consensual behavior is categorically false. Again, over the last 10 months, I've been deeply humbled by the faith Mainers have put in me. You have welcomed me into your homes.
Keaton Weiss
Just not humbled enough not to quit before this came out. That would have been really humble. I'm not that humble. Not that humble.
Kurt Metzger
I mean.
Keaton Weiss
Yep, go ahead.
Kurt Metzger
I swear on the Totenkopf on my right arm that I did not.
Graham Platner
Your places of work, your restaurants and your houses of worship, you have shown that a different kind of politics, one that puts the interests of people over corporations, is not just possible, but is inevitable. This movement, we have built the largest volunteer base in the history of Maine politics.
Keaton Weiss
Turns out it was all for nothing.
Graham Platner
Never mind hundreds of thousands of grassroots donors and the supporters across the ideological
Keaton Weiss
spectrum, we were flush down the fucking tone.
Graham Platner
A love of Maine, a belief that our politics must change, and a focus on defeating Susan Collins. So regardless of the inaccuracy of the reporting, but mindful the political reality it will inflict, we are taking the time to reflect on the best path forward for the state that I love, the people that I love, the movement I belong to, and the goal of defeating Susan Collins.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah. Even though I didn't do it. It's like in the Sopranos when they. They mean to whack Phil Leotardo and they. They kill the wrong guy. Silvio comes to Tony says, Paulie takes full responsibility, but he says he didn't do nothing. That's like, what.
Kurt Metzger
This is, by the way, categorically false.
Keaton Weiss
Do not.
Kurt Metzger
I was dumb. Categorically false means there's not a single part of her story that's true is what that actually means.
Keaton Weiss
Entirely.
Kurt Metzger
That's right.
Keaton Weiss
There's no fancy way of saying entirely. Oh, okay.
Benjamin Netanyahu
All right.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah. Listen, I. I could go either way. It's very hard to tell because clearly this guy had a. I don't know what his deal was from the start. There was something funny about him, but he's. There's clearly somebody out to get him because of a tape act. Well, I think it's both.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
So if they can find something, if there is something on you, they're gonna dig it up.
Keaton Weiss
Right. That's what I mean. Even if it is questionable, like, even if you can't know for sure, like there's. There's clearly. There was clearly enough there where you had to know that this was going to be completely debilitating to your campaign going in.
Kurt Metzger
Well, everybody in this punk ass country
Keaton Weiss
for a year and a half. Yeah, exactly.
Kurt Metzger
This punk ass country forgot about the Epstein files like almost immediately. Well, hey, this, why would not take a shot?
Keaton Weiss
I guess you speak. I mean there's gonna, this is gonna be studied for a long time. How people in the Epstein files are able to skate but some others are not. Right? Like Donald Trump and Bill Clinton. They're, they're, they're just, they, they have a certain Teflon quality and then there are others who don't. Like. I don't have an answer to that. I really don't. I don't think anybody has a full answer to that, that at this point. But clearly this is, this is curtains for him. He's, he's done.
Graham Platner
Those were the goals when we launched this campaign and they remain my goals. Today on June 9, 154,058 Mainers, the most in primary history, voted to reject a broken politics beholden to Washington and the donor class. They voted for hope, for change, to take back our economy, to take back our power, and to take back our Senate seat. Throughout it all, you never turned your back on me and I will not turn my back on you now. Every one of you deserves to see that vision come to fruition and see Susan Collins defeated. And we will use every tool at our disposal to do so.
Kurt Metzger
Don't use the one tool.
Graham Platner
As main goes, so goes the nation.
Kurt Metzger
Wait, what?
Graham Platner
Thank you.
Kurt Metzger
Do you say as main goes?
Keaton Weiss
I guess that's a phrase up there. I guess that's a phrase up there in.
Kurt Metzger
Never heard that one. I've been to Maine. Is that because Stephen King's popularity as a writer? I guess.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, I don't know. I've never heard that one either. But apparently like trademark sign off. Well, this is the thing. This is the thing. They apparently have a week to figure out who is going to replace this guy as he reflects. So Ryan Grim says Graham Platner here strongly suggests he is considering dropping out. Already Troy Jackson and Shelley Pingree, both gubernatorial candidates are being kicked around in main circles as potential replacements drop out by 5pm July 13 and replacement is named by 5pm July 27. So there's exactly one week before he, you know, must officially drop out, which I guarantee you he will. Now odds of Democratic U.S. senate Graham Platinum are dropping out surge to 38%. That's now way higher than that. I'm sure as of now, this was hot off of the press, I'm sure this is getting close to 100% since that statement was made. And there was some foreshadowing. Now, remember in the Politico story, they say that the New York Times, which had the original story, which I think was the sort of Zio hit piece that they had heard from this person. And so it is possible that they knew more than they were letting on at the time. Not necessarily about the specifics of the allegations, but you look at this question here in a bit of a different light now when the interviewer gives him a chance, hey, is there something new you want to get ahead of?
Kurt Metzger
He's going to dig up everything
Savage Joy Marie Mann
and
Graham Platner
more that they can and probably lie at some point.
Savage Joy Marie Mann
Is there something new you want to get ahead of?
Graham Platner
No.
Kurt Metzger
I mean, like we've.
Graham Platner
I've been. I've lived my life. I like, I've been there for the whole thing and it's.
Kurt Metzger
And Right.
Keaton Weiss
So, yeah. So no. Now in terms of replacement, I do have. I do have a little bit of a scoop to report myself. Kamala Harris spotted in Red Sox hat eating lobster and corn on the cob. Oh, she's always loved main. She's.
Kurt Metzger
She's going to be. Yeah, looks like it's going to work out just fine.
Keaton Weiss
My heart has always been in Maine. My heart has always been in Maine. I told Willie Brown, take me to Maine. He said, bitch, are you crazy? I'm not going to Maine.
Kurt Metzger
She's a for real MK Ultra Canada by way of Canada. Manchurian come all up. She's been the whole time.
Keaton Weiss
Try to put her in there in Maine. Yeah. I don't know if it'll be Janet Mills or one of these governors candidates, but that's a major L. That is a major L. And that is a. That is a huge fuck up. Like you said, Kurt, whether the allegations are true or not, there was. There was a lot of writing on the wall that there was stuff out there and you know, at the time.
Kurt Metzger
Why? Because of one Nazi tattoo. Hey, I would have dismissed Ukraine, if that matter.
Keaton Weiss
Exactly.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah, well, he's. Dude, that like, you know, to get the totem cop from off the SS hats. That's the one he had.
Keaton Weiss
What was it? I don't. I forget what the symbol was.
Kurt Metzger
The skull and crossbones.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, the skull and crossbones. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Benjamin Netanyahu
Okay.
Keaton Weiss
See, I did. I mean, yeah, I mean, what it was. You think that was iconic? I didn't know what that was.
Kurt Metzger
Oh, I knew what it was. But you know, it'll be Kanye west fans.
Keaton Weiss
But I mean, I got a Kanye con.
Kurt Metzger
It's just a strange thing of like, I was. I would have guessed Maine doesn't have a huge Zionist Jewish population just because if you skate on the Totenkopf.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
The death's head tattoo, they probably don't care. You know what I mean? Like, I don't know why he wouldn't be blaming something. Israel with this or Apac. That seems like a great way.
Keaton Weiss
Well, I mean, I think at this point. I mean, look, it seems to me like based on his answer there, based on his doing the. Basically the Paulie Walnuts defense, which is, hey, sorry, but I didn't do nothing. You know, it sounds like he knows he did it. Like if. If you didn't do it, you should just trump your way through just power. Say, hey, it's a hit job. I didn't do anything. I'm staying in. If you're going up there and you're talking like that, that means there's probably truth to those. Those allegations. And he knows he's done because at the time the first New York Times piece came out, the people who had endorsed him, the people who had gone to bat for him and doubled down on their endorsement after that, saying this was basically a smear, which made sense at the time. And look, you can only live in the present, right? You can't see into the future. That seemed like the right move. But they all said, hey, look, if anything comes out where this guy's credibly accused of being violent with someone or something like that, we're out. And now they're all out. I mean, Ro Khanna has come out and said he's out. Ruben Gallego, all these endorsers are out. He's done completely fucked this up. Susan Collins, I'm telling you, man, you take that woman to Vegas because she has some kind of luck. I mean, she's not been popular for many, many years, but she keeps winning. She keeps.
Kurt Metzger
From an old family named Collins. That's from the area by any chance? Because I'll bet you that has nothing to do with that.
Keaton Weiss
Could be Maine royalty. Who the hell knows who the hell.
Kurt Metzger
Collins. You saw Dark shadows?
Keaton Weiss
No.
Kurt Metzger
The 70s series and the one with Johnny Depp is based on the real people the Collins is that were New England. Like which families. That. That's their big claim to fame. So when that she's a witch, it's just like. It's just like my friend Chloe from New Swimming the Lebranche house in. In Louisiana, where some Great hint. Just chained a chick up and left her up there to starve like her white her husband's side piece and just left it there. They didn't discover dive she died like these old ass families are firmly entrenched in everything. Especially in a local ass place like Maine where it's like real almost like Hawaii in terms of with mains for Mainers. And we like. We don't like out. You know like how it's like an island in a way. They love Bob Marley, not the singer. I mean nothing against Bob Marley but I mean that's like the ultimate comic to them that's there is if they were Hawaiian, you know it makes sense.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah it makes sense that she would be a witch because she's not been popular but she keeps winning elections. Maybe that's the story. Maybe Susan Collins.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah, there's a lot of that are old money but not necessarily you are. But I'm just curious because that's the. The area and then like a person who's not popular but they always win like Gavin Newsom. Gavin Newsom shouldn't have won that recall. I don't think he should have won that. I think there was something up and he skates and everything but his family is one of the four families that ran California as per Chinatown. If you saw Chinatown.
Keaton Weiss
Oh yeah. Well yeah, of course. It's all Chinatown. Yeah. Wow. Wow. So it's a shame he made that video before talking to you. He should have consulted with you. He that he would have. He would have taken a much more defiant tone.
Kurt Metzger
One time I bought weed off Susan
Keaton Weiss
Collins is a witch. These allegations are false.
Kurt Metzger
I don't know which the witch that's local area. Do you know what I mean? So that's like you're getting in because you're the most local ass local guy. And if he's populist and especially what was he he was digging clams or what would he do for oysters.
Keaton Weiss
Oysters, yeah.
Kurt Metzger
So that's somebody I could see being real popular. They're not just going to accept some thing about that's like okay, five years later I still I'm an oyster guy. I know that guy. I mean I don't know his policy but. But I'm just saying if I'm into him like that, you think I have a five year old thing that the New York Times says I'm gonna go against him. I got my business in my family. I can't give a yo. I just found out they eat kids. What am I gonna do? Bring the oysters in.
Keaton Weiss
It's a good point. It's a good point. Maybe Tucker can look into it. He lives in Maine. He could do an episode. I mean, is Graham Platner a rapist or Susan Collins a witch?
Kurt Metzger
There's something oddball about it with the Totenkov tattoo where I was like, nobody in the middle.
Keaton Weiss
He's definitely a strange guy. I mean, the guy is definitely a up guy. I mean, when you look at his bio, he's. He talks about PTSD and alcoholism and all that. I mean, the guy was definitely a. A flawed a guy. I don't think there's any question about that. You know, as a. As a self hating Jew, I don't really care about the Nazi tattoo, to be honest.
Kurt Metzger
Kind of a turn on to me. But other people, they don't like it.
Keaton Weiss
I can see how some others might be offended by it, but personally, it's not a huge deal to me.
Kurt Metzger
Not necessarily.
Keaton Weiss
I mind my own business. I don't bother people. Nobody bothers me. I'm a shtetl Jew. I've come from the long tradition of shtetl Jews. We keep our heads down, we don't like the look of a tattoo, we don't have to look at it. That's it. That's how we handle it.
Kurt Metzger
Just go over this way.
Keaton Weiss
Exactly.
Kurt Metzger
That's why the Israelis despise you. Your asthma and your sensitivities. Disgusting to the robust.
Keaton Weiss
Exactly. Graham Platner, we hardly knew you. I was looking forward to doing your voice for 36 years. You could run as many times as you want in the Senate and gone before it started.
Kurt Metzger
Probably the least up guy that ran for office ever in Maine. Honestly, I bet you.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, probably true. Too bad. All right, let's move right on along. What do we got over here? We got some rumble rants and some super chats. So I thought that Misha had sent the same one four times, but apparently the same chat has been sent four times for 50 each. That's very generous or generous of you, Chili. Op hanging.
Kurt Metzger
Oh, that was Grant Platner. Yeah, like, oh, hey man, I don't live in Maine, or I'd be like,
Keaton Weiss
yeah, yeah, do what I can for you, Chili Pankofrat. Really gotta seize the opportunity to dress up as Joe Biden for Halloween this year. Also good for East Palestine to get more coverage. Thank you for that generous donation. Roger Meadows says Ohioans can take SB78HB289, which replaced the Ohio private insurance system with a government run universal B plan that's sitting on the shelf and gathering dust and run that as a ballot measure amendment. Roger Meadows knows all about the ballot measures. That's your cause out there. Thanks, Roger. Chili op hangle frat says Kirp. I'm going to read Clock Shavings. Any other recommended books?
Kurt Metzger
Oh, I. You know what? I haven't read Clock Shaving. This is one I have to get. I still have to get. So let me know how it is. I guess I. But yeah. Michael Hoffman. Twilight. Language. Michael o'. Hoffman. I just had him on derp with Kirk and boy, is that guy smart. He turned me around. Thomas Jefferson. I was a little soured on old T.J. you know that.
Keaton Weiss
Oh, yeah.
Kurt Metzger
But it turns out Franklin was the more of the creep historically, if we're just looking at the facts, than Jefferson. Jesse Jester Finn. Do you know Thomas Jesterfin believed. Believed in. He called the right to error, meaning you're allowed to like. Like Alex Jones could have never been sued how he was. The founding fathers call it that. The right to error. So, you know, they're. Oh, Danish. Misinformation like that was intentional that you'd be allowed to. I mean the rights of CNN and you know, the government have.
Keaton Weiss
You should run for Senate in Maine. Thomas Jefferson. That'd be good. You need the right to error up in there. Graham Platner should invoke that.
Kurt Metzger
Another ginger, but with no death's head tattoos.
Keaton Weiss
I invoke the right to air. I reenter the race. Steve D. Bertram Keaton and Kurt. Too bad Kiriaku isn't on tonight. All right, well, he's not too bad for us. You know, that's what we're watching us. EO. Shush. When this woman learned Platner might vote against vacuum bombs that would vaporize children, she had to muster up the courage to come out. Yeah. Good call. Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
I mean, look, it's a. Just the timing is awfully suspicious, but again, there's no way to tell. You would think he would know about this ahead of time himself.
Keaton Weiss
This is why most people don't run for office. Because most people know there's something that's embarrassing, even if it's not true. If you're gonna go up against these people, they're gonna come at you with everything they can find. So if there's anything questionable, you. You can't do it if you think it's gonna sink you. And I don't know what he was. I don't know what he was thinking, but, you know, what are you Gonna do. All right. Welcome to the Jimmy Dore show, everybody. Keaton Weiss here with Kurt Metzger, who's July 4th weekends and communism was on the brain. That's right. In Independence Eve speech, Trump warns of communism, then promotes one party rule, reports Common Dreams. President Donald Trump spent his address to the United States the night before its 250th birthday fear mongering about the communist menace and suggesting that his Republican Party should govern the nation for a century. America will never be a communist country, he said from Mount Rushmore, South Dakota Friday night. We can only lose the midterms if we allow ourselves to lose the midterms, if we are foolish and stupid and unwise.
Kurt Metzger
Check, check, check.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
What the. Okay.
Unknown Caller 2
Yeah.
Keaton Weiss
His remarks clearly implied a false link between communism and the Democratic Party and promoted a bill that critics say will make it harder for millions of eligible voters to participate in elections. That's, of course, the Save America act, which claims to address the documented non problem of noncitizen voting by requiring voters to show documents such as passports and birth certificates, which can be expensive and difficult to obtain, especially for low income voters. Such requirements would also impose added burdens on rural voters and married women who have changed their names. Well, they tend to be Republicans. But he's, he's pretty confident that the Save America act is just what the doctor ordered. So here he is.
Donald Trump
We can only lose the midterms if we allow ourselves to lose the midterms, if we are foolish, if we allow
Keaton Weiss
enough people to vote.
Donald Trump
But if we terminate the filibuster, as we should do, and immediately vote for the Save America act, then we will not lose an election for 100 years. We do that, we're not going to lose an election for 100 years.
Keaton Weiss
No, really. Before arguing for 100 years of Republican rule, Trump continued the exaggerated anti communist rhetoric he has employed in the weeks since progressive and Democratic socialist candidates won a series of Democratic primary victories.
Kurt Metzger
The DSA has been horn horseshit for quite some time now. So don't worry right wingers. It's always been a compromise thing. That's when they had the don't clap, do this. That's the CIA gutting that thing from the inside out. Way back when went full in on Covid shots.
Keaton Weiss
That's what I said. They're not even the DSA are barely socialists, much less communists.
Kurt Metzger
Like it's another puppet show, man. By the way, you don't go away by communists. The people that are doing this are called Fabian socialists. And what they are are extremely Rich, horrendous oligarchs that they're gonna live like, you know, royalty. And they're. You're gonna eat the bugs. That's what they are. They. The wolf and she's clothing was their coat of arms for many years. They have a website and stuff still now. But Cecil Rhodes and all those other creeps were all Fabian Socialists. Not Communists. Fabian Socialists.
Keaton Weiss
Fsa. Fabian Socialists of America. That's their organization. Yeah.
Donald Trump
Right.
Kurt Metzger
Well, those ones are like, not ironically in the open, so I kind of think they're just chumps.
Keaton Weiss
They call themselves like IBM, Apple, you know, you're like.
Kurt Metzger
Rockefeller was like a supposed Baptist, but he wanted New Age socialism for the peons, right? Because they receive. Bannon talks about the popular, you know, populism. He's talking about how to treat the slaves. They're all in their head. They're like, this is. How do we corral the slaves?
Keaton Weiss
It's a feudal system, Right? Exactly.
Max Blumenthal
Exactly.
Keaton Weiss
Exactly. There is now a resurgence of the communist menace in our land, including from newcomers to our country who embrace ideas totally opposed to our way of life and our great success. Yeah, yeah, man. Just takes a few. Few victories in New York to ruin Fourth of July for everybody, right? So what the fuck? Donald Trump completely detaches from reality, bizarrely claiming that communism is a bigger threat to America than World War I, World War II, Pearl harbor and 9, 11 combined. Combined.
Kurt Metzger
So communism's an inside job, too?
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, yeah. Another false flag. That's right.
Donald Trump
TR was also a staunch and ferocious opponent of a thing called communism. You've been hearing a lot about that lately. He said the doctrines of communistic socialism, if consistently followed, mean the ultimate annihilation of civilization. Other than that, it's thought it was wonderful. As we're seeing now, communism is the greatest threat to our country, including, I believe this. You know, when I said it, I said, boy, that's pretty severe. But I think it's true. It's the biggest threat to our country, including World War I, World War II, Pearl Harbor, September 11th. I think it's a bigger threat, potentially a bigger threat than that.
Keaton Weiss
And aids. What about aids? You forgot aids.
Donald Trump
And you better stop it fast. We will never let the United States become a communist country.
Kurt Metzger
Great. That's the lowest bar by far I've ever heard set after a guy rug bowled the country. But let me tell you what I guarantee. No, this promise will keep. Just trust me. Don't say it, Trump, because we'll become communist like the next day, you're going by his Current record.
Benjamin Netanyahu
True.
Keaton Weiss
Or kind of lowering the bar there. Right? That is a bit of a, bit of a switcheroo, right?
Kurt Metzger
Never become a communist country. Are you about to do something that will make us become that? You piece of. Are you about to ruin the economy more than you have?
Keaton Weiss
Well, you know, it's funny, I mean, we talked about as he's been on this anti communist tirade. In the middle of this, he put out that tweet, remember? He's like, gas retailers better lower their prices. They're ripping off the American people. Well, what do you think? That's, that's what a communist would say, that, I mean, that's what they did in the Soviet Union.
Kurt Metzger
That's how good their communists are putting. They even got me. That's how good they are.
Keaton Weiss
They even got to me. Anybody believes in fact, the democratic socialists who won primary elections in New York City last month ran on a platform of affordable housing, Medicare for all, stronger unions, and an end to US military support for Israel's genocide in Gaza. Policies backed by large numbers of ordinary Americans. Trump's doubled down on an opposition between communism and US values and also linked his anti communist to his anti immigrant stance, threatening to send communists into exile. And they tweeted out here, you can be a communist or you can be a patriot, you cannot be both. And I was so exhausted by this,
Kurt Metzger
sir, you've misspelled, you've misspelled Zionist, sir.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, right, exactly. Well, yeah, that's one thing. That's one thing too. But my reaction to this was, can I be neither? Can I be neither a communist nor patriot? I would settle for that.
Kurt Metzger
No, you have to pick one. Got to pick one, but you got to do it. You got to pick one.
Keaton Weiss
I would make a deal at neither. And I would say, you know, I'm not a communist for the same reason I'm not maga, because I don't, I don't like the idea of angry incels with guns telling me what to do.
Kurt Metzger
Well, then you're a low IQ loser.
Keaton Weiss
Then I'm a loser. I guess that just makes me a low IQ loser.
Kurt Metzger
You just got mods.
Keaton Weiss
That's right. That's right. President Trump on communism. Here he goes. Going off now in Washington D.C. so it was a two night stint, a, a two night double bill. Anti Communist Festival here on July 4th. Here he goes.
Donald Trump
Here at all. And after we vanquished fascism, Americans stood against the evil of communism in the Cold War. War. And as I said last night at the beautiful Mount Rushmore. What a Beautiful place. Where Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt loomed over my shoulder as I spoke. America will never be a communist country. Won't happen. Communism is a loser and it always will be. The communist system is the opposite of the American system, and the communist system has never worked. Our warriors did not fight communism on battlefields across the world only to have that menace rear its ugly head right back here in America. We're not going to let it happen
Keaton Weiss
only to have a bunch of trans women in masks tell us that everybody needs health insurance.
Donald Trump
We like to stop a threat like that immediately and before it begins. It's like a cancer. You got to cut it out. You got to cut it out fast. Tonight we proudly thank veterans.
Kurt Metzger
What communism did he recently bust? I'm not clear on. Communism really hasn't been a relevant thing since Vosh's tax folder was seen on his show. So what are you talking about, Communism? Like, usually it's some Zionist. When I hear, like James Lindsay, that chill for the Southern Baptist Convention, Fatso o', Farrell, whoever pays him, that's like that nonsense. And they can keep focusing on communism and World War II issues.
Keaton Weiss
Well, it's all nonsense. I mean, it's all complete nonsense. Like we were, like we were saying, the. The DSA is barely a socialist organization, much less a communist organization. Like, oh, that's about illiteracy.
Savage Joy Marie Mann
Yeah.
Keaton Weiss
It's about Mamdani.
Kurt Metzger
It's about these.
Keaton Weiss
It's about these primary wins. Right. Because the DSA slate done well, basically had what, three DSA endorsed candidates win primaries.
Kurt Metzger
If we've got to send Dave Portnoy. Yeah, we'll send Dave Portnoy in a heartbeat.
Keaton Weiss
Exactly. Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
President Jake Paul.
Keaton Weiss
Well, now they know. I mean, now they know. Now they, they. They see a midterm strategy. Right. I mean, this is. This is a message. They always come up with some MacGuffin right before the midterms to get the base riled up. In 2018, it was the immigrant caravan. Right. The caravan's coming after election day. Literally. Not a word about the caravan ever again. Now it's communism. Communism. But it's so illiterate. Yeah, trend. Yeah, of course. All that. All that, you know.
Benjamin Netanyahu
Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
They're almost always. And by the way, all of them going back to, like, the Charlottesville Nazis, such as the crying Christopher Cantwell Nazi who, you know, makes gay porn where it's like Jew and Nazi gay born. That's what he does now. Because they're all good. Yeah. All these groups.
Benjamin Netanyahu
Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
I was thinking that they're All. But why are they all gay? I realized because gays are attracted to theater, because this horseshit is a big play. And who loves being in plays the most? Gay guys. Well, that's what all this nonsense is. There's no con.
Keaton Weiss
It's all gay. It's. It's all very gay. It's very gay. I mean, this is. This is all gay. Love for a caricature of an alpha male. That can't be Movement has turned into. Yeah, it's camp.
Kurt Metzger
Like John Waters is coming up with it.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, no, it certainly is. It certainly is. But communist, the specter of communist. I mean, this is. I mean, it's also a generational thing. Like, this is real. You know, I hate to. I hate to bring the Jimmy Dore show into this because whenever I talk about generational politics, I get a lot of backlash. But this is a boomer thing. Like, this is. This is something that generation astrology boomers use to scare each other. And you would think in the 60 years that they've been freaking out about this, they would learn the first thing about what they're talking about. So, like a program like Medicare for All is not a communist program. In order for it to be communism, you have to transfer the means of production from private business to the state. Medicare for all is a single payer program where the government guarantees payment. To who? To private businesses. You'd still have private pharmaceutical companies under Medicare for All. You'd still have private doctors, you'd still have private specialists, you'd still have private hospitals. You'd still have a largely privatized system. It's just that payment to those sectors would be guaranteed by the government as my rebuttal to ensure that people don't die because they can't afford medicine.
Kurt Metzger
Ready? Ready for the rebuttal. Communism has never worked.
Keaton Weiss
There you go.
Kurt Metzger
But I'm still deathly afraid of it. The thing that has never worked once in history is my number one fear. And that's why, whatever you just said that I didn't pay attention to, because I am in sheer terror of communism. Creeping communism. The only reason people even think anything bad about Israel is obviously communism.
Benjamin Netanyahu
Right?
Kurt Metzger
I wonder where it was coming from. Now, we. I was afraid secret Nazis, but it's actually secret Communists.
Keaton Weiss
Secret Communists, that's right. And they ruined the Fourth of July. They ruined the Fourth of July. That is the new message coming out of Independence Day weekend through November. And then hopefully after November, you won't hear about it ever again because Donald J. Trump will have vanquished them. Vanquished the communist threat.
Kurt Metzger
Got to do it. Gotta do it. They're everywhere.
Keaton Weiss
They're everywhere.
Kurt Metzger
Nip it in the bud. Much like a law that requires me to release the Epstein files. Nip it in the bud.
Keaton Weiss
Exactly. All right, V. Nettlesbaum says. Who's this Keaton fella? Steph finally got a sign. Oh, that's not nice. Just kidding. Great job posting. You call me bastard. Thank you, V. Nettles. Bob.
Kurt Metzger
I should go put my communist hat, actually, maybe, and take this cowboy hat off and join communism. That's right, you can't stop for the rest of it.
Keaton Weiss
There you go. There you go. Look at that. One segment too late. But hey, never too late. Pirate Justin says. I think he's pronouncing Zionism wrong. Oh, look at that. You and Kirk thought of the same joke at the same time. That's how you know doing it right when you think of the same joke at the same time. All right, we're going to move right on along here as soon as Kurt has his wardrobe change. See, Kurt's got one of those fancy podcast chairs. You know, I never got a podcast chair. I don't know why.
Unknown Caller 1
I don't know why.
Keaton Weiss
I probably should. It's one of those investments I know I should make, but I haven't done it yet. I used to do these on, like, a kitchen chair. That. That was really brutal. That was really brutal. I couldn't get through them after a while. All right, do you want to go to a quick card while Kurt finds his hat and then we'll come right back? Oh, never mind. He's back.
Kurt Metzger
What? I used to get my commie outfit for this. All right, I converted communism during that segment.
Keaton Weiss
That was a quick change. Yeah, that won you over. See, you know, Trump is losing. He's got no juice anymore.
Kurt Metzger
Communist number one just won me over just now. I know.
Keaton Weiss
Just won you over just now. It's. It's spreading. Spreading like a cancer. Spreading like a cancer.
Kurt Metzger
Didn't catch it fast enough. Nine more weeks to live before communism kills.
Keaton Weiss
We were too late. Should have made that segment number two instead of segment number four.
Kurt Metzger
Oh, I'm really can't. Predator now, camo, because this is a green.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah. Welcome to the Jimmy Dore show, everybody. Keaton and Kurt here filling in for Jimmy. So Donald Trump wants you to be really afraid of communism and socialism. That is his middle midterm message. And who agrees? Who agrees? Well, Benjamin Netanyahu agrees. That's right.
Kurt Metzger
I thought that they started out as kind of a left wing thing. They have shtetls, which is a communist farm, is it not?
Keaton Weiss
You're talking about the kibbutzim which we're going to get to. Yes, yes, it's a very, it's a very sort of socialist oriented society. But hey, Trump is BB's guy and so BB toes the party line here. America can try, just try it. Try socialism. We tried it here. Didn't work that much. Oh, I wish it hadn't. I wish it had.
Kurt Metzger
Now we pay all your bills.
Benjamin Netanyahu
Communists who know better, I would say who should know better. But I think they all know better. And these people are not themselves be swept by these irrational protests and these, you know, this very toxic ideology. I don't think it lasts because I think America, you know, America can try it. Just try it. Try socialism.
Keaton Weiss
Final word.
Benjamin Netanyahu
We tried it here. It didn't work that much. So I decided to try free markets. It worked a lot better. Americans picture too.
Keaton Weiss
That's right, that's right. I tried free markets here. Worked a lot better. Unbelievable.
Kurt Metzger
I mean, wait, so this is okay, they've already on, on the right, right wing because you know, they got to control both sides of the aisle obviously. So this is the pushing the lefties out that are anti Zionist just the way they're trying to do with the righties that are, with that woke right nonsense they say. So this is just what this is, is like we gotta, you know, make the Greater Israel Democrat and Republican project.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, well, I think he's just, you know, Trump is his guy and so that's his message. He's going to back him up because that's his guy. If, if the Democrats were more pro Israel than Donald Trump, he would just come on and say the trans women are women, trans men are men. My daughter has a big penis.
Kurt Metzger
Many of them are.
Keaton Weiss
You should see my daughter's penis. It's the best penis. Exactly. He would say anything, say anything. All he knows is where his bread is buttered. And if Donald Trump is laying it on thicker than anybody else, then he's going to say whatever he needs to say. This sounds a lot like democratic socialism to me, observes Karina. The USA gives Israel more than $10 million every day. Israel has free health care and free college, but the USA doesn't because the USA can't afford it. That's right.
Kurt Metzger
It reminds me of racial socialism, AKA as the Germans called it, national socialism. That's what they meant by national racial.
Keaton Weiss
That's right, that's right. Mel says he's Correct. Socialism doesn't work very well in an apartheid states and 50 ways to eat. One of the best ones here. Aren't free education and health care advocated by socialists. Yeah, yep, yep. Toxic ideology. Try socialism. Israel runs on democratic socialism, universal health care, subsidized housing, and strong social programs. But as Kurt mentioned, is it more like National National Socialism? Because it's kind of reserved for, you know, one group, you know. Yeah, the same templates the NYC mayor pushes. Funny how that works. Fozon Capital says don't be fooled by Netanyahu. He doesn't care about socialism. He cares that people in the progressive movement actually despise war crimes and the criminals that perpetuate it, like himself. Bibi realizes he cannot bully, bribe or intimidate progressives. Well, you're talking about the handful of progressives who have won these primaries. And that is certainly who he's trying to demonize. Not because he's against socialism, but because he's against them. Because he knows that they're against him.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah, you know what socialism is to him? To him, socialism is like the. The idf. We're not allowed to physically rape the teen male prisoners on camera anymore. That kind of outrage where you're going full left wing crazy, not allowing IDF to wantonly grab and sexually assault anyone they want. That's called socialism to these people.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, that's dei. Yeah. But the real irony here, as Kurt mentioned just a little bit ago, the kibbutzim are basically these communes. And it was those on the kibbutzim who were most affected by the violence on October 7th. A disproportionate number of Israeli civilians killed on October 7th were actually the socialists who lived on these kibbutzim. Israeli kibbutzim ravaged by October 7 attacks rebuild while honoring their past. So what is a kibbutzim? I hate to use this source here, but just to make the point, what exactly is a kibbutz? The kibbutz operates under the premise that all income generated by the kibbutz and its members goes into what? A common pool? The kibbutz operates under the premise that all income generated by the kibbutz and its members goes into a common pool. This income is used to run the kibbutz, make investments and guarantee mutual and reciprocal aid and responsibility between members. Kibbutz members receive the same budget according to family size, regardless of their job or position. In terms of education, all children start equally and are given equal opportunity. Well, that sounds pretty socialist. These are communes. That is essentially what they are thinks
Kurt Metzger
Americans are The dumbest sacks of shit on the planet. You can even argue with him. Who can argue with him? Well, you're right. You're right. They can't argue with results.
Keaton Weiss
No. When they talk about the atrocities of October 7th committed against Israeli civilians, they're talking about the socialists because they disproportionately live in the south near the Gaza border.
Kurt Metzger
The ones they're told to go there on purpose and then they did the Hannibal Directive and they wiped out a whole bunch of none of them with could voters. That. That. Yeah, right.
Keaton Weiss
I think there's a lot of truth to that. I. I know you made that point on the show in the past, and I think you're right. I mean, I think of here. Yeah. An inside job and. Yeah, that. That was. That. That was part of it for sure. But yeah. So when he talks about how socialism doesn't work, that. That's what he's talking about. He is denigrating the victims of. He's. He's denigrating the victims of. Of October 7th. So here's Benjamin Netanyahu denigrating the victims of October 7th.
Unknown Caller 1
Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
Lost his kibbutz. People know better.
Benjamin Netanyahu
Yeah. I would say who should know better, but I think they all know better. And these people let themselves be swept by these irrational, irrational protests and these no shame, you know, this very toxic.
Keaton Weiss
They just happen to not like me.
Benjamin Netanyahu
I don't think it lasts because I think America, you know, America can try it. Okay. You know, just try. Try social final. You know, we tried it. We tried it here. It didn't work that much. So I decided to try free markets. It worked a lot better.
Keaton Weiss
Oh, free markets worked a lot. Okay. So you don't have universal health care anymore in Israel. That's news to me. I didn't know that.
Kurt Metzger
Well, free, like we pay for this, right? Did he ban kibbutzim?
Keaton Weiss
I don't think he banned kibutzim.
Unknown Caller 1
No.
Kurt Metzger
We still have a kibbutz there. Of course.
Daniel Denver
Of course.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah. Oh, that's weird. So I guess it did work just fine for them. Yeah. Outside of taking our money for the other shit.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, yeah. No, exactly. Yeah. No, they're. They. They still exist. I remember when, When Bernie ran for president. Michael Bloomberg, when he got in the race, he made fun of Bernie. He says, you know, he'll turn the country into a kibbutz.
Kurt Metzger
You know, I miss those days of the intersee, you know, inter mural Jewish fighting of, of where you really heard him whip out old words.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, yeah. Those were simpler times. Yeah. Those Were. Those were more innocent times. Those are more innocent times. But no, that's Benjamin Netanyahu just saying what he feels he has to say in, in the moment. I guarantee you, I guarantee you, if the socialists were kinder to Israel than the Republicans. Like for example, if, if the so called Woke Reich gets a candidate in office, you know, if, if, if Thomas Massie runs for president in 2028 against, like a Democratic Socialist, I don't think that's the way it's going to shake out. But let's just do a thought experiment and say it's Thomas Massie versus AOC or something like that. I'm pretty sure NETanyahu would back AOC in that race. Right? They say a lot about socialism, but they don't tell you anything about. You know, I read Atlas Shrugged once. I said, how's this gonna work?
Graham Platner
You know?
Kurt Metzger
Well, you forget John Galt.
Keaton Weiss
Who cares about John John Galt? That's what I say.
Kurt Metzger
Look, Communism has never worked except in Vietnam where they won that war in their communists this day. And they're fine. Right? That's why they don't come up.
Keaton Weiss
Right, Exactly.
Kurt Metzger
Oh, in North Korea, that beat us, remember? They don't come up ever again.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, yeah, that's true, that's true. They do have a couple of W's that, that they.
Kurt Metzger
I heard they're doing better now, now that they got a nuke.
Keaton Weiss
But there's, there's. There's reports now that the North Korean. North. North Korea is doing economically pretty well.
Kurt Metzger
A much lower suicide rate than South Korea. That's strange. Maybe it's because all those lights on at night in South Korea, people don't get good enough sleep. I don't know. Yeah, I don't know. Korea with natural sleep patterns from not having lights in their face. Will anyone help those people who will
Keaton Weiss
intervene on their behalf? Good question. All right, what do we got over here? We got. Excuse me. Let's see. Misha texted me some super chats over here. Roger Meadows says Tricare is a commie healthcare plan available only to active duty soldiers. And they love it. Dare you to find a libertarian vet who hailed it. Well, that's another thing they don't want to talk about. You know, military. That's all. That's all. Government created work. Government created demand.
Kurt Metzger
How about all of D.C. where, where people. When the government shut down to avoid releasing the Epstein files. That's why they, that's why Mike Gay Johnson did that. I. I'm an Arlington drafthouse making a joke. I got you guys had a hard day redacting Epstein files. Like four or five people laughed really hard because they. They were. Oh, yeah, they were doing that. So all these people that work there. The whole town runs on government jobs. And that's like being a, you know, a public notary on the side redacted some Epstein files while the government shut down. But they're like, do you redact your eyes, too? Because you've read. So there's all these people that know what's in there too, but that's their public works job of covering it up. And they're just going to live with that, I guess, forever. It's just filled with scum. Dude, DC is just the most reaction impulsive place on earth. It really is.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah. No, no doubt about that. No doubt about that. Rough business. Rough business in that town. No, no doubt about it. All right, let's take a look. What do we got here? Let me just see. All right, one more. All right, we're gonna do one more segment, then we're gonna switch over to Rumble for the remainder of the program. All right. Welcome to the Jimmy Doer show, everybody. Keaton and Kurt here with Jimmy away. This is a segment that I know the Jimmy Dore show audience is going to appreciate. So in the wake of the DSA victories in New York and then one in Colorado, Brianna Joy Gray had Daniel Denver, DSA aligns podcaster, on to question the strategic maneuvers of the DSA in terms of their decision to work within the Democratic Party. And so she brings him on and here's a sampling of how it goes. Let's take a look.
Daniel Denver
A third party. What you're doing is fighting to establish and maintain a ballot line in terms of a party. We do need a Labour party. We do need a socialist party. And I would argue that NYC DSA is by far the most advanced along in that process. They're using the Democratic Party ballot line, but they exercise more organizational power, more discipline over their organizational practices and elected officials at the city and state and now federal level than. Than any political party in this country.
Brianna Joy Gray
That's confusing then. So. So two things are happening that I hear you saying right there. One, I say, well, I hear you saying, well, we can't operate party systems as they operate in other countries. That's fine. I don't know. It may or may not be. It likely is more advantageous to do with the ways that other countries do. But that's not the standard for the Democrats with which all of these candidates are running to be. And by Your own description just now. The dsa, you're saying, is sort of creating a facsimile of that by using.
Daniel Denver
I think. No, no, they're not. I think NYC DSA is acting more like a political party than any other organization.
Brianna Joy Gray
Okay.
Daniel Denver
Including the Democrats.
Brianna Joy Gray
Okay, so you have the ds. The. The NYC DSA behaving in that way. The question is, why is it so unthinkable that similar organ, similar organizing. Organizing can be done completely outside of the Democratic Party and. Or while someone like the. The NYC DSA put their. Their. Their efforts behind people like Andre Easton, who I believe is in the DSA as well, individually.
Keaton Weiss
So Andre Easton, just so everybody knows, is running against Richie Torres in the general election on an independent ballot line now. So is our friend Jose Vega. And so I'm supporting Jose Vega. But the question she's asking is not, hey, why do you engage with the Democratic Party at all? But rather, why not keep your options open? For example, right now, there's a general election campaign going on against Richie Torres, even though he won the primary. There's independence with some organizing behind them. Why won't you lend your support to campaigns like that? And it kind of goes south.
Brianna Joy Gray
Oh, no, he's psl, I think, actually. But people who are ideologically aligned. Democratic Party. Yeah.
Daniel Denver
I mean, the question should be why? Why aren't any of these other socialist organizations able to, like, win very much?
Keaton Weiss
I think he was about to say, because PSL has its own party line, which is. Exactly. Brianna's point is that if there's another organization with their own party line and they're running a candidate in the general election, why does the DSA never get involved to help them win? Why do they seem committed to only backing Democrats?
Daniel Denver
Because NYC DSA has been incredibly effective, and they have a strategy that wins. I think the results sort of speak for themselves. So I think it's kind of. I think it's strange that you're asking.
Brianna Joy Gray
Let me be clear about this. We're being a historical about this. AOC gets characterized. ASU started all of this. ASU's run was not expected.
Daniel Denver
Are we. Is this like. I mean, and you can run this if you want, if you wanted, but, like, if we're gonna just, like, rehash the debate that you've been having with, like. Like, the DDSA lefts for six years? Like, why? Like, why? Like, why? I've had a very busy day. Why? Why'd you have busy day?
Kurt Metzger
Oh, my God. I just got done on this guy's dick and now this. Oh, my God, I'm exhausted. That's Daniel Denver. Him. That's a joke.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
What a joke. I mean, unbelievable. What a sack of shivers. Like, when I heard his name, I knew he's gonna be a sack of. And lo and behold, he was.
Keaton Weiss
Well, it gets even better. It gets better. That was just. I wanted to give a little bit of the backdrop of what the conversation was, what the dispute was. He now goes into a bit and he ends up, spoiler alert. Rage quitting. Ends up hanging up on her.
Kurt Metzger
Oh, who would have thought?
Keaton Weiss
And, and, and he, he talks about how, you know, it was. It's this big imposition to have been asked on her show to talk about this, given these other projects that he's working on. You could not. I mean, Kurt, you're a comedy writer. You will appreciate this. You could, could not write a satire of a DSA guy funnier than how this goes.
Kurt Metzger
I can't write it funnier, but I, I'm writing it because the cutout just got done with the pilot, I think probably. So I have. I use all of these as material, especially that.
Keaton Weiss
So maybe this is in here. All right, let's take a look.
Daniel Denver
If we're going to just, like, rehash the debate that you've been having with, like, like the DSA lefts for six years. Like, why? Like, why? Like why? I've had a very busy day. Why? Why'd you have me on?
Brianna Joy Gray
Like, well, to what? Wait a minute, Dan, characterize the debate that I've been having with the DSA left for six years.
Daniel Denver
This is. If you want to have me on, like, I answered your question, but you're just like, now we've been like 20 minutes having the same back and forth. You said your piece.
Keaton Weiss
What other topic do you think she'd be interested in discussing with you? Like, what else are you known for that would be of interest to a major podcast in this moment? Like, why are you surprised that she's hammering you on this? This is obviously the most urgent story of the moment. Your organization just had some big wins and some very high profile races. And now what? You don't understand why she would have you on to talk to you about this as opposed to what else you're working on? Let's see, what else is he working on?
Daniel Denver
I've said my piece. Like, it's not like, like, I'm not like a talking, like a TV talking head. I. I just finished the sixth part of a seven part 16 hour series on the history of Indonesia stretching From the dawn of Portuguese colonialism in the 16th century.
Keaton Weiss
Oh, she should have had you on to talk about that. So I mean literally you could not make this up. You just had your organization, the DSA break through in the biggest way it has since its inception. You've had more press with the DSA this past week than in the past decade. You get invited on one of the biggest shows in the space to talk about those wins and answer some tough questions. Oh my God, I'm so tired and you're like, you know, exhausted. I've just wrapped part six of a seven part series on six 16th century Portuguese colonialism.
Kurt Metzger
I just took a sex tour of Indonesia.
Keaton Weiss
It's really, really taking a lot of time out of my very busy schedule.
Max Blumenthal
Yeah.
Keaton Weiss
About 16th century Indonesia. To be here talking about the recent DSA victories that are the talk of the country now. Like you couldn't make that up. This is what, you know, you talk about a left that just intentionally makes itself as irrelevant as they possibly, possibly can.
Kurt Metzger
Yes, of course it's all this cut out. It's the same as Patriot Front. This and that with the ponytail from Patriot Front are his phone. They're the same phony. They're the same phony. And that's why he's not going to answer the basic question of why are you in the auxiliary of Democratic Party? Basically he's not going to answer her question ever because they are cut out. Who's even real? If you're real, you're out of here, buddy. The second you do anything real, we don't like you.
Savage Joy Marie Mann
No.
Keaton Weiss
They find the woman who says that you, you touched her five years ago and that's it.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah.
Daniel Denver
On the mass anti communist genesis.
Keaton Weiss
To get a tattoo no one else would. You were the bravest guy at the bar. They lay me down, was a pirate. Put it right on my chest. As big, as big as possible. Right on my tit. Coming old tit.
Daniel Denver
I. I just finished the sixth part of a seven part 16 hour series on the history of Indonesia stretching from the dawn of Portuguese colonialism in the 16th century.
Keaton Weiss
Why doesn't anybody want to talk to me about that?
Kurt Metzger
But yeah, why don't I shows to
Keaton Weiss
talk about 16th century Portuguese colonialism as opposed to the three super high profile victories that my organization finally won. Talk about my passion.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah, dude, he looks like TJ Miller doing a character.
Keaton Weiss
No, this, this is like a parody of itself. This is self parody. Like you could, you can't write this.
Daniel Denver
I just finished my introduction on the mass anti communist genocide of 1965.
Keaton Weiss
Oh, wow.
Daniel Denver
When between 500,000 and 3 million people were murdered by a US backed dictator.
Keaton Weiss
And I came on, I just did my first draft of my 11 part series on sexual liberation in 1790s France. I have a lot of, got a lot of things on the burner here. I really don't have time to talk about the news, you know.
Kurt Metzger
Well, did you ever see the movie the act of Killing about the Indonesian genocide? Well, I didn't. And I wrote a whole fucking paper about it. I just now found out it was already covered.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
And you're saying this to me now because you asked.
Daniel Denver
Yeah. And I was like, sure, but this is not what I. This is like not what I was like hoping for. One question when we go back and forth and disagree, but this is like
Keaton Weiss
you don't have any questions for me about 16th century Portuguese.
Kurt Metzger
I mean, you don't have anything to
Keaton Weiss
ask me about that. You know, I just recorded 14 hours about it.
Kurt Metzger
You could have asked me anything.
Daniel Denver
Just like not a good use of my time. And it feels like a little tangential.
Keaton Weiss
This is not a good use of your time.
Daniel Denver
And you can, and you can.
Keaton Weiss
What do you mean it's not a good. I don't understand. This is not a good use of your time. Your organization just made huge headlines for the first time ever, arguably.
Kurt Metzger
Okay.
Keaton Weiss
And now you get invited on a huge show like this and this is not a good use of your time. Okay, I just validate your strategy to Brianna Joy Gray. No, the better use of your time is what recording part? Getting an early start on part seven on 16th century Indonesia.
Kurt Metzger
That's right. Indonesian boy culture.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, exactly.
Brianna Joy Gray
I, I did ask. I specifically want to know why.
Keaton Weiss
Not a good use of my.
Brianna Joy Gray
The DSA has been.
Daniel Denver
We've been talking. But we've been talking about this for 20 minutes. And you had a lot.
Keaton Weiss
Oh my God.
Daniel Denver
List of things you wanted to talk to me about.
Unknown Caller 2
Right.
Brianna Joy Gray
But this is, this is chief among them.
Keaton Weiss
It's been 20 minutes because people are
Brianna Joy Gray
as engaged with this issue. I feel like I've learned a lot from your interviews with people who've done the organizing on the ground. I don't can. I don't have any pushback about the efficacy of dsa. My question is how broadly applicable those strategies are. What is sort of unique about New York and the phenomenon that as I was about to Describe started with AOC's run, which was not a DSA fueled and enabled run.
Keaton Weiss
Okay. So then they go back and forth about Zoran for A little bit. And then for time's sake, we'll. We'll cut to about a minute down the road and.
Daniel Denver
And I'm now suspecting that you're gonna, like, play all this online, even though I'm having a meta conversation with you, which I wouldn't do for a guest on my show. Which I would not. Which I would not do for a guest on my show.
Keaton Weiss
His way of asking her not to air this because it hasn't gone well. And I wouldn't do this to a guest on my show. I wouldn't put this out. If I were you, I'd have the courtesy to just scrap this, even though that would be a waste of her time. You know, funny how, like, the guy talks about how this interview is a waste of his time. A guy who most people have never heard of, he goes on one of the biggest shows in the space, implies that it's a waste of his precious time because he's recording a 16 hour series. Series on whatever 14th century queerness in Ethiopia or whatever the it is.
Kurt Metzger
Okay, all right. Curb, Colorado. This is not a good use of my time.
Keaton Weiss
This is not a good use of my time.
Kurt Metzger
Oh, wow, you're gonna ask about that? I mean, it's been like 20 minutes.
Keaton Weiss
It's been 20. We've been talking about the same thing for 20 minutes.
Daniel Denver
I'm having a meta conversation with you, which I wouldn't do for a guest of mine show, which I would not. Which I would not do for a guest on my show.
Brianna Joy Gray
But, Daniel, if you want, and I never. I don't edit my podcast like that,
Daniel Denver
then that's fine, but I'm just telling you that, like, you asked me a question, I answered it. You debated me back, I debated you back. And now we're just, like, going over the same thing over and over, and my, like, my brain's just kind of, like, melting my eyes. It's just unpleasant.
Keaton Weiss
These guys supported Bernie Sanders, who's given literally the same speech for 45 years. Now their eyes are glazing over. It's been 20 minutes, 20 whole minutes of this.
Kurt Metzger
Indonesia or not. I'm confused.
Keaton Weiss
Do you even care? Do you even care about Portuguese colonialism 600 years ago?
Kurt Metzger
Why are you asking about the thing I'm in charge of?
Keaton Weiss
You don't care because you have too much privilege to care about the Indonesians.
Brianna Joy Gray
I'm genuinely surprised by this. What about this is. So I thought we were just having a conversation about what seems to me to be a really fundamental issue about the direction of the left going forward. Because. Let me see. Let me see where I'm coming from. I'm concerned that just like. Sorry to. Maybe this is also something I'm not supposed to bring up, but I'm concerned that the same way that the left. The left establishment pretended that force the vote was not a viable strategy, and then we saw Republicans. Wait a minute. We saw Republicans effectively do it two years later.
Kurt Metzger
Fuck you, Keaton.
Brianna Joy Gray
Did he just hang up on me?
Kurt Metzger
Yeah, I did.
Keaton Weiss
As soon as she says the word force to vote, God doesn't say goodbye. No, nothing.
Kurt Metzger
Okay.
Brianna Joy Gray
I'm concerned that just like. Sorry to. Maybe this is also something I'm not supposed to bring up, but I'm concerned that the same way that the left. The left establishment pretended that force the vote was not a viable strategy, and then we saw Republicans. Wait a minute. We saw Republicans effectively do it two years later and I was out.
Kurt Metzger
I mean, I don't have. I told you.
Brianna Joy Gray
Can you just hang up on me?
Keaton Weiss
I don't have time. He doesn't have time.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah, this happens to her a lot, too, by the way, where she has incredible.
Keaton Weiss
Well, you know, I mean, I really
Brianna Joy Gray
didn't expect that at all.
Kurt Metzger
Why not? Why didn't you, Brianna? So you shut up.
Brianna Joy Gray
That was very unexpected because I've been wanting to have Dan on for a long time. Everything that I said about how much I value his work and his podcast is authentic and true. What I was about to just say when he hung up is that my concern is that just like force the vote was characterized by people and what I would describe as the establishment left as impossible. That we would end up with a Republican speaker of the House when that is not how the voting works. I mean, I don't have to go over this with you guys. You guys know.
Kurt Metzger
Know how.
Brianna Joy Gray
What the score was.
Keaton Weiss
We know what the score was. That was. That was very professional of her to stay on and talk to the audience, even though she doesn't live stream. You know, like, if I were pre recording and someone hung up on me, I would just. I would just jerk. I'll just go to sleep. Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
Can we please.
Keaton Weiss
All right.
Kurt Metzger
Can we please get to Indo, Indonesia, please? Oh, my God. It's not a good use of my time.
Keaton Weiss
Not a good use of my time. Not a good use of. As soon as she mentions it, he's out. Why? Because that is a very telling thing. Forced to vote. And of course, the following year, where they promised for months and months and months on end that they were going to hold out for the build back better bill and then caved. Right. Same type of situation where you had leverage that you could have used and you proved you didn't use it. What she's doing there is. She's prodding. Okay. Is there a mechanism by which you plan to hold hold members to account once they are elected? Because during the force to vote episode and during the build back better episode, you had the ability to leverage your policy demands against the functionality of Washington D.C. and you didn't do it. And of course there is no good answer for that. I mean, there is no good answer for that. And so that's why as soon as she mentions it, he's out one more time.
Brianna Joy Gray
Sorry to. Maybe this is also something I'm not supposed to bring up, but I'm concerned that the same way that the left, the left establishment pretended that force the vote was not a viable strategy and then we saw Republicans. Wait a minute. We saw Republicans effectively do it two years later.
Keaton Weiss
That's a great way to handle yourself as you've just had this big breakthrough with these very high profile victories and then you get invited on a show like this to tout it and defend yourself and you rage, quit because. Because you don't want to talk about force the vote and explain that you have more pressing matters like a 7 part 16 hour series on Indonesia.
Kurt Metzger
Well, how do you think it felt for me to have to do that to a woman of color? Technically I should. I should have to sit and listen to her live narrative.
Keaton Weiss
That's right.
Kurt Metzger
And she should apologize for forcing that on me with her stupid bitch bullshit.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, she drove you into therapy. Drove you into therapy.
Kurt Metzger
I had to take three self care days.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, that's right. That's right. It's her fault. American exception says for anybody who is more invested and thus more informed on these issues. Why doesn't DD Daniel Denver not do dissidents just argue that it was an error not to force the vote, but that DSA's D party strategy is still sound? Yeah, exactly. You could just say, hey, that was an L. Brianna responds to this person, says it would be very easy to say it's good to support new insurgents because they've learned from the old squad and will absolutely forced to vote and vote as a block. Kiro seems to be hinting at this and it's a good thing. That's the thing. Brianna has not even been hostile to these challengers. She's been pretty.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah, she's been pretty. Seems like she's a fan.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, well, this Milad Kiros, the one who won in Colorado, signaled that she's not going to support Hakeem Jeffries for speaker, just like the Republicans did their own force to vote around Kevin McCarthy. Nicole Salk, what's up?
Kurt Metzger
I love Hakeem Jeffries.
Keaton Weiss
Oh, yeah.
Kurt Metzger
Hope not hate. Beep. Not beep.
Keaton Weiss
I'm a fan of both of you, says Nicole Salk. I'm truly shocked. Daniel, Denver, that you couldn't engage with Bri on this. I'm a DSA member, worked on the recent campaigns, and I have real questions and concerns about AOC and the limitations of working within the DIM Party. It's healthy to engage. Well, I guess she's not a fan of the podcast, so, you know, just as Jimmy emphasized during Force to Vote, that it wasn't his idea, it was actually the DSA's idea. This. This is a similar dynamic here because this essay by Eric Blanc, which was written in Jacobin magazine, called the ballot and the break really popularized, if not coined. I don't know, maybe it was the first time anybody even said this. The so called dirty break strategy, which means you use the Democratic Party as a vehicle for ballot access, but you use that in order to build enough power to then break from it. So like what Jose Vega did in his campaign is an example of the dirty break in action, which is he ran as a Democrat in the primary, but while he was running as a Democrat in the primary, he was also securing ballot access as an independent so that after the primary he could keep the momentum going and run as an independent. That is essentially what the dirty break strategy is. And Jacobin and the DSA crowd popping popularized that concept and then never acted on it. Just like they came up with the Force to Vote strategy and then did not act on it. So it's very, very similar playing out now.
Kurt Metzger
Are you taking a hint, Keaton? Can you understand a hint? Do I have to come out and say it? I'm sorry, Fake. We all worship the devil.
Keaton Weiss
That's right.
Kurt Metzger
I have to say it. I have to say it to you.
Keaton Weiss
Ah, I apologize. This segments run 18 minutes. I know I've cut into your time. I know you have to get recording.
Kurt Metzger
Well, I could have been in Indonesia by now.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
Taking a sex tour.
Keaton Weiss
You could have been halfway through part seven. So I guess, I guess we'll let you go. I guess we'll let you go. That's all the time we have today. Yeah, that's it. To end the segment. Here we go. Just put it there. Boom. There you go. What happened? Where'd he go? Where'd he go? That's amazing. There you go. Boom. Look at that. Ended that in style. Writing fiction on the spot. Colorado doesn't get any better than that.
Kurt Metzger
Doesn't answer questions.
Keaton Weiss
That's quality entertainment right there.
Benjamin Netanyahu
Yeah.
Keaton Weiss
All right. Well, hey, that is the end of the YouTube festivities for tonight. We're going to be switching to rumble. We'll be back in a few minutes. Yeah, I know. Part seven is just going to have to wait a little bit longer. We'll have you out of here soon enough. All right, everybody, we're back. We're back. Hi, Daniel Denver and the Dig.
Kurt Metzger
Hi, Curb, Colorado. Sorry, I was taking a selfie.
Keaton Weiss
Do you need me again? All right, let's take a look over here. Hugh. John. Not one Israeli died during the Holocaust. It's a good point. Good point. Steve D. Bertrand says, why are we pretending like any DSA candidate has any more credibility than aoc? None of this matters at all because
Kurt Metzger
it's all I got, okay?
Keaton Weiss
That's all I can. He's got. That's right. Oh, I mean, I think, in all seriousness, like, I do think the stakes are higher. I've said this in the past. I think they have a lot more to live up to now. You know, running to be a sort of wrench in the genocide machine gives you a lot more to live up to than like, hey, my healthcare plan is going to be better than Chuck Schumer's healthcare plan, so you can never predict the future. But that was. That was her point. I mean, that was Brianna's point. She was not being overly hostile to the candidate.
Kurt Metzger
She was kind of a layup question, you know?
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, it was kind of an easy question.
Benjamin Netanyahu
That's.
Keaton Weiss
That's right.
Kurt Metzger
It really isn't anything about.
Keaton Weiss
That's right. Alo Trion says $5 says Trump communism talk is China war foreshadowing over Taiwan. Okay, well, you bet $5 on it, but you only put a $1 rumble rant on it, so make that make sense. Nvidia will have to absorb companies there and in their Ponzi circle and save the AI Boys marketing investment. Steve Bertrand says it's a perfect demonstration of everything wrong with modern culture that I can't call that guy what he is because of the new literal.
Kurt Metzger
Oh, what am I, sir?
Keaton Weiss
Rusty Rocket Eggman says, I disagree with Brianna sometimes, but you got to admire her patience with the liberal space. I've watched her become more and more demoralized since Bernie. Well, she is. What was she the press secretary of that campaign. So she wasn't just like, you know, cheering it on. She actually worked on that campaign. So, yeah, I mean, that's going through it, you know. All right, let's move right on along. We got some more material to get to tonight before the day is over. Welcome to the Jimmy Dore show, everybody. Keaton and Kurt here filling in for Jimmy while he is away. So the Iranian people are not overthrowing the government as was expected. I don't know how they got this wrong. I. I don't understand. Usually the foreign policy establishment is able to, you know, see into the future with. With impeccable accuracy. But aerial footage of the millions of mourners in the streets of Tehran for the Ayatollah's funeral. Went on for many, many miles. Here Glenn Greenwald says Americans were told this is what Iranians would do to express gratitude to American and Israeli invaders for. For bombing them pour out on the streets to welcome us as liberators. It usually doesn't turn out that way. Turns out most people don't like being
Kurt Metzger
bombed by foreigners, but that's a big thank you parade.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, yeah, exactly. So Moshe Rosenstein, I wonder what side he's on. Like a. Like a typical leftist who lives appealing to anecdotes and feels you end up with regarded takes like this. Right, Glenn? No one said there weren't tens of thousands of people on the side of oppressive regime. Now go speak to the millions without Internet. And Glenn corrects him. Not tens of thousands, Millions. That's right. And don't believe Glenn Greenwald. Don't believe. Don't believe the commie propagandists on social media. He cites NBC News. Iran mourns Supreme Leader for a second day as millions, yes, millions flood streets, some calling for revenge. Max Blumenthal, independent journalist, of course, friends of the Jimmy Dore Show. I've just visited the largest funeral in history where millions mourn Syed Al Khamenei, the Iranian leader who was assassinated by the US Israeli coalition, along with members of his family. It is practically impossible to understand what this scene is like or what it means unless you're here. I've met people from around the world who've come to pay respects, including many from across the West. The crowds pouring in are endless and grow larger and more intense into the night. And there's one of the many photos that Max has posted there from.
Kurt Metzger
That's the Jew Max Blumenthal in there with all those anti Semites.
Keaton Weiss
That's right. That's right.
Kurt Metzger
I could Put it into words. They think that we, this country, and they're not wrong, are bail worshiping cannibal pedophiles. That's what's in all their hilarious AI slaps they made against America. So that's why there's this outpouring, you understand, this is, this must be the end of the world to them. You know, this must be like some kind of Lord of the Rings in their world because let's face it, that is what America is. And they didn't even like this guy until he killed him. Weren't they almost sick of him till he killed him?
Keaton Weiss
I don't know because I only get my news from the people who said that the government would be overthrown by now. So I could not confirm nor deny
Kurt Metzger
that Jesse Waters man.
Keaton Weiss
But yeah, I'm a Jesse Waters man my myself. But I have been around long enough to remember when, you know, the Iraqis were supposed to greet us as liberators and that ended up being a lot messier than the people who promised us that that was going to be over in six days, six weeks or perhaps six months. So Arya Yadagar says, don't believe me. Here's high quality aerial footage of Engelob Square and the Engelab street leading to Azadi Square, literally packed with people, black and red. Even the side streets are filled with people. This is the biggest funeral ceremony ever. And then here is some Al Jazeera footage. Al Jazeera says this is the largest funeral procession in human history. That's Mario Nafal saying that with more than 10 million people estimated to have shown up in Tehran to pay respects for the late Supreme Leader, Iranian state media estimates more than 20 million people will participate in the ceremonies that will take place over multiple days in Iran and Iraq. The second biggest funeral procession in history occurred in 1989 where in Tehran apparently over the death of Iran's first supreme leader. Oh, so you mean you could have seen this coming? It's weird. See if you see I once again, I only get my news from Fox News. You know, I'm a big Fox News guy, so I didn't know that. But you'd think whoever puts the news out, whoever makes these predictions that may have been useful information to have before launching this war, that none of the other presidents were dumb enough to follow Israel into. The fact that the previous record holder was also Iran in response to the death of the first supreme Leader.
Kurt Metzger
Well, not just that the ayatollah that hold the Ayatollah is in there because of us. So when they all. When you hear your Patrick bet values talking about the Shah was good because they could wear mini skirts. The right. That's the. The how you measure a society, how good it is is how short the skirts are. Great, great point, Patrick. Bed value. Valuable point.
Keaton Weiss
Not a lot of turnout for the shot, I guess.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah. We also installed the Ayatollah. That's morning Micah from the Morning Joe Show's dad is her big new BRZEZINSKI. And George H.W. bush in the CIA, while Carter was in. Installed the Ayatollah. So they haven't had a leader like we've installed all their leaders since we overthrew that one. They haven't ever had just like, oh, let's just have our own thing. We've been interfering the entire time. It's really quite amazing. And you're welcome. Iran.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, there you go. You're. Yeah, that's right. You're welcome. There's the crowd. There's some TV footage overhead. We've seen some footage already. Just a pretty endless.
Kurt Metzger
And I want to point out to Gavin McGinnis, unlike here, Gavin, these people are against pedophile cannibalism. They actually look into it a little bit and get disturbed by it. And that's why there's millions of them in the streets because they're being attacked by nations of pedophile cannibals.
Keaton Weiss
They certainly, they certainly have a good turnout operation.
Kurt Metzger
People aren't into it out there like you think.
Keaton Weiss
Not into it.
Donald Trump
Yeah. Yeah.
Keaton Weiss
No, it's. Who. Who could have seen this coming? CNN is apparently on the ground there. They say they're the only American TV network that's actually on on the ground there. There are other journalists covering it and other outlets from around the world, but the public funeral procession for Iran's slain supreme leader is underway in Tehran today and a CNN team is on the ground. So now we're going to see some of the mainstream media coverage.
Kurt Metzger
This should be good.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah. Historic moment that we're witnessing here in Tehran as scores of people have come out to commemorate Iran's late Supreme Leader. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, of course, was killed in the U. S Israeli airstrike along with several family members at the beginning of the US And Israel's war against Iran. And as you can see on the ground here, there is a lot of sorrow, but there is also a lot of anger.
Kurt Metzger
The chance of death to America hearing right now and death to Israel have
Keaton Weiss
been going on almost non stop with people vowing Revenge against the United States. Okay, so these were people who we said we were liberating who were going to take our cue to rise up and overthrow the governments. And now you're getting. Well, look at that.
Kurt Metzger
We stand for you.
Keaton Weiss
Look at that. Yeah, we. Yeah, I wish I had that. Wish I had that here. We don't have the, we don't have the technology.
Kurt Metzger
Is that a tribe over there?
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, exactly. Nick Cruz, who's gonna be guesting on this show with Russell on Wednesday, by the way. MSNBC in full blown meltdown mode over the massive global support and attendance for the funeral of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Shitlibs who believe the Iranian people despise their government is in absolute shambles.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah, right now we wish it was bb. We all wish it was BB but he's got pictures of me in the folder of Epstein. So we're gonna do any crazy thing that they want.
Max Blumenthal
And the fact that they have the world's media, they're covering it on the ground. And you know, we've talked about this before on your show. The Iranian regime is very well versed in using the foreign media for its propaganda purposes. I mean, we need to remember that this man that people are mourning is also responsible for tens of thousands, the deaths of tens of thousands keeps going up and tens of thousands that his son, the now so called Supreme Leader is.
Keaton Weiss
No, first it was 4,000, then it was 10,000, it was 20,000, then 30,000, then 40,000. Then I heard somebody said what, 55,000 people in the protests. Yeah, that, that, that number just keeps going up. And according to, you know, even, even Western media is printing, like I said on NBC News, millions, millions in the streets.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah.
Keaton Weiss
Because they don't want to be bombed by other countries. Like again, it's just extraordinary to, to, to live through this 20 years after the Iraq war when literally the exact same line of, was said to, to sell that. Oh, don't worry, they're, they're going to love us. They're going to love us for, for doing a shock and awe campaign against them. They're going to take our lead, they're going to follow our lead. Yeah, they're going to do what we want them to do. That, that's, that's what they're going to do. They're going to do exactly what we tell them to do as we buy.
Kurt Metzger
Sam Harris said it. Yeah, Sam Harris says counterintuitive, but it's probably a really good idea. And honestly, he's a really smart guy. Neuroscience or some. Some kind of brain thing.
Keaton Weiss
He is a very smart guy and he. He doesn't believe in free will. So according to him, this was going to happen anyway, no matter what.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah, I'm not real clear on his free will thing. It's. It's almost incomprehensible.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, I don't understand that. It sounds like total to me.
Kurt Metzger
I was never going to be able to understand it.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, no, I was never. Yeah, exactly. I never had a choice in the matter. I was destined to not be able to know what the. You're talking about when you say people don't have free will. You know, I don't understand it, but it's not my fault. It was meant to be. It was meant to be. It was just in the cards, you know, from day one.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah. Well, that's why some people got to blow up. And that's why I buy Sam Harris Atheist meditation.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah. I was always gonna be born to the creator of Golden Girls and never have to earn a dollar in my. I can just meditate for weeks on end without talking and then just act like I know what I'm talking about. And there'll never be any consequence for that because it was preordained that I speak very slowly. Hollywood royalty. That's right.
Benjamin Netanyahu
That's right.
Kurt Metzger
No need to rush. We're all going to the same place and we can't help any part of it. It's real slow.
Keaton Weiss
We need to nuke her on the usual suspects. Don't. Don't believe me when I. When I say this. The human suspects insist that I'm full
Kurt Metzger
of garbage, but I think some people should be put in camps, you know?
Unknown Caller 1
Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
And if Hunter Biden had kids tied up in his basement, that would be literally okay with me. That's the thing that I really said.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, exactly.
Max Blumenthal
But he hasn't even been heard of or heard from, rather. We haven't heard his voice. Okay. So if he is injured, severely injured, and they don't want us to see him, we haven't even heard his voice. So there has. We've talked about this. Again, there's questions as to whether or not he's even alive or at best in a coma. Now, what I have found interesting in my reporting is I've been speaking to sources inside Tehran, and I spoke to a man who I've been in touch with for some time, about a decade, has kind of wobbled between supporting the regime and then being very anti regime. Last year was upset at Trump for not, quote, unquote, Finishing the job during the 12 day war in June. I asked him, I said, are you going to Khamenei's funeral? And he said, I might go to the funeral to tomorrow. I haven't decided yet. And I asked, I'm curious why people are going to the funeral if they don't like the regime. And he said, I can't speak for others, but for me, everything changed when Trump killed kids in Manab and said that his goal was to end Iranian civilization.
Benjamin Netanyahu
Yeah.
Max Blumenthal
Oh, you think that we are not human to him?
Keaton Weiss
Oh, you mean like, really that changed some people's mind? First of all, I think she's full of shit. Like, I. I don't believe her.
Kurt Metzger
The CEO of Helmets to Heels, you think is lying?
Max Blumenthal
Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
Yo, Keaton, how could you be alive?
Keaton Weiss
I know, I know. How do you. How do you make it that far?
Kurt Metzger
What? And then he was like, no. Yeah. And I go, are you sure?
Keaton Weiss
No, I, I don't believe her. When she acts as if there's a sizable contingent of, you know, anti IRGC members, uh, there or an anti, uh, government faction at the funeral. Sorry, I know that.
Kurt Metzger
Well, can I just tell you her background because maybe you trust her more if. New H2H. Helmet to heels is a social impact media brand and substack platform founded by Iranian American journalist Suzanne Keonpour. It blends serious global news and geopolitics with fashion, travel and lifestyle elements into a stylish, accessible format. Helmet to Heel. What the.
Keaton Weiss
Well, she has a sub stack. That settles it. I stand corrected.
Kurt Metzger
Tagline vibe is essentially monitor the situation in style.
Keaton Weiss
There you go. Wow.
Kurt Metzger
Good. Good thing you're talking to her. Cnn. It's definitely worth it.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, well, I mean, so the, the whole claim that there's a large anti government faction there seems kind of absurd on its face, but to the extent that it could be true, yeah, I think that that wins the no shit award of the evening. When she's like, yeah, when you blow up a scene school, that kind of radicalizes people in the other direction. Yeah, yeah. No, I, I'm, I'm not. You know, I. I don't think you need that resume of yours to come to that realization, but there she is. President Trump told Axios is from drop site. US Iran. Negotiations are paused until the funeral ceremonies for the late Iranian Supreme Leader conclude on July 9, saying both sides agreed to take a week off and that neither side will shoot at the other during that time. Referring to scenes of mourning, see scenes from Tehran below. Trump said he was surprised to See Iranians crying because he thought people hated Ali Khamenei, adding, maybe it's fake tears.
Kurt Metzger
They're all alive, maybe they're crying. I thought they were tears of joy because I was going to destroy their fucking civilization. Civilization. Do you think they took that wrong?
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, they may have taken that the wrong way. But he also said they are all there, one shot and we can take them all out. But we're not going to do that because then we would have nobody to negotiate with. Now where could he have gotten that idea that all these Iranian civilians in one place at the same time? Well, Mark Levin tweets out on July 4th. So this was two days ago. Cuz this has been, you know, a few days here. They've been gathering in the streets. Yesterday, the enemy gathered en masse, all in one place. Opportunity lost. Wow. Just, just openly egging on the mass murder of civilians.
Kurt Metzger
So the enemy being the civilian population. Millions of civilians, of course, of course.
Keaton Weiss
That's how the Israel Firsters roll that. That's how they fight. So here's Sky News reporting hundreds of thousands of Iranians turn out for the funeral procession of the late Supreme Leader. Some more mainstream coverage from from across the pond. Extraordinary scenes in Tehran as the funeral portage of Ali Khamenei goes past us along a 20 kilometer procession through the heart of the Iranian capital. We are some way from its final end which is the Masadi Square down the road there. But as you can see from here, hundreds of thousands of Iranians out on the streets. Iranian government has promised the biggest funeral of mobile times saying 15 million people will come out on the streets. And from what we can see here, certainly hundreds of thousands have answered that call. Now I want you to contrast all of this reporting and you know, it kind of combines some independent accounts with some more mainstream accounts because I just have to contrast this reporting from with what we were told was going to happen. So remember this, remember this, the 3am wake up call that we all got. And Donald Trump in the baseball hat announces that we're going in to Iran and calls on the Iranians to step up. Yeah, here he is. Here he is saying, hey, now's your moment, don't miss it.
Donald Trump
Great proud people of Iran, I say tonight that the hour of your freedom is at hand. Stay sheltered, don't leave your home. It's very dangerous outside. Bombs will be dropping everywhere. When we are finished, take over your government. It will be yours to take. This will be probably your only chance.
Keaton Weiss
Generation, what happened? What happened?
Donald Trump
Many years you have asked for america's help. But you never got it. No president was willing to do what I am willing to do tonight.
Keaton Weiss
Just admitting what an idiot you are. Just. I mean, it's not just a matter of being an idiot. It's a matter of being compromised, which is my theory and a widespread theory that he was the only one as under israel's thumb as he was. John kiriakou said every time the israelis came to washington, they would ask whoever was president to invade iran for them. And every other president said no, except this one. And here he is bragging.
Kurt Metzger
I bet you he knows. Yeah, I bet you he's not a. He did something bad and they hold it over him because just before he was president, he said all the smart things that the other idiots who didn't fall for this wouldn't say.
Daniel Denver
So.
Kurt Metzger
No, that's on purpose. Clearly he's been blackmailed. I don't know how anybody could even think it's in doubt after the epstein file debacle and then this.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, well, I mean. And here he is essentially bragging about that. He's saying no other president did what I'm going to do for you. America's help, which is bomb. You never got it. You've been asking for our help.
Donald Trump
Is willing to do what I am willing to do tonight. Now you have a president who is giving you what you want.
Keaton Weiss
So what you want. That's what they wanted. Does it look like they wanted that?
Donald Trump
Is backing you with overwhelming strength and devastating force.
Keaton Weiss
Oh, yeah.
Donald Trump
Now is the time to seize control of your destiny and to unleash the prosperous and glorious future that is close within your reach.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah.
Donald Trump
This is the moment for action. Do not let it pass.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah. I'm speaking to the rich ones, the rich expats who DJ at my kids events. Those iranians.
Keaton Weiss
Do not let it pass. Well, they seem to have let that moment pass. They seem to have missed their big opportunity that you so graciously handed them. Yeah. Yeah, the moment seems. Seems to. To have passed. It's. It's. It's really extraordinary to. To see. You know, it's. It's a. It's something that you kind of dreaded for the last 20 years, but you kind of didn't think it could actually happen. It's like. It's like one of those things where you're like, yeah, this looks like it's going to happen at some point, but you're still shocked when it does. And the reason it's still shocking is because you saw the exact line of propaganda Deployed to trick these idiots into supporting the Iraq war. Now, at the time, that worked on 70% of the population. This time, it only worked on 30% of the population. But guess what? The lame duck president, in for one term and out. So fuck you. What are you going to do about it? What Bibi wants, Bibi gets. And this is the result, much to the apparent surprise of the foreign policy establishment, who insisted that the Iranians were just waiting, just waiting for us to give them the opportunity to overthrow the government. Cut to tens of millions of people rallying around their government, which is still in place, by the way. Now, Trump is trying to cope and say that we've done kind of regime change since now we have the sun.
Kurt Metzger
We know what that is, like how we do with Maduro. And there's the same. The same mug communist government still in charge. Yeah, And Iranian. But these ones are nicer ones. And maybe we'll talk to them. Unless Bibi says no and blows them up first, which is what will happen.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah. Wow. They just had a thing. They just. Apparently Jimmy did a story because we were going to do it today, but apparently Jimmy did it last week about, you know, the new Venezuelan government sort of cooperating with Israel more. Yeah, they. Obviously, they're getting their way.
Unknown Caller 1
Yep.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah, obviously. I. I can't even believe, first of all, all this news, this is the worst part of my day, is when I go talk to people that I know that are morons and don't know, someone's gonna say to me, no, the Iranian people wanted to do it. No, someone's gonna still say it to me, yeah.
Keaton Weiss
47 years, this should have happened. All of a sudden, they all know the number 47 years. All of a sudden, they all know that. And they don't just mean rich bars.
Kurt Metzger
Boss is excused because he's hilarious. He can't spell. So it's really funny that he supports Israel. This. And I wanted to continue doing it.
Keaton Weiss
No, it's amazing how that mass propaganda works. Like, nobody thinks it's weird that they all learn the same thing at the same time. Like, you don't think it's weird that all your friends know to say 47 years at the exact same time? That doesn't. That doesn't strike you as a little suspicious? Like maybe you're being manipulated into something that's against.
Kurt Metzger
Not since a supposed Christian told me that Candace Owens weaponized saying crisis king against Ben Shapiro have I heard such absolute deranged nonsense.
Keaton Weiss
Right.
Kurt Metzger
With a straight face. Someone said this to me, actually, two People. What are you talking about? You know, that's why they killed him for saying he was the king. I don't know if you remember. I guess it is weaponized. The fuck are you talking about?
Keaton Weiss
All right, let's see here. What do we got? We got Steve Bertram says, unfortunately, it literally doesn't matter what they do because a few members of Congress can't do anything. That's my point. Even if they do hold true to every promise, changes nothing. Excuse me. Sojourner says, I think Keaton brings out the best in Kirkish, destroyer of dongs. Great show, boys.
Kurt Metzger
Thank you.
Keaton Weiss
Let's see here. Aloe Trion. I thought I hit $5 but sent one. So bet is 6 on escalation with China dog whistles. Also, Kurt, I'm emailing you clock shavings now. Oh, there you go.
Kurt Metzger
Okay. Thank you.
Keaton Weiss
Reading material.
Savage Joy Marie Mann
Go.
Keaton Weiss
Don Sebastian DeMora says, When are Americans going to stop being such idiot Zio cucks? I've had to cut off members of my family for supporting the tiny hat.
Kurt Metzger
Not were they in Israel.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, I. I just, you know, I nip that problem in the butt. I don't really talk to people much anymore. Oh.
Benjamin Netanyahu
I just.
Kurt Metzger
That's how hammer people's beliefs that are different than mine. And they want me to stop, but I don't.
Keaton Weiss
That's right.
Kurt Metzger
I wouldn't cut nobody off. I'll talk to you and talk to you and talk to you and talk and talk.
Keaton Weiss
That's one way to go about it.
Kurt Metzger
I do have time to educate you. I'm not like some dingbat feminist. I got all the time in the world to educate the out of you. And I will.
Keaton Weiss
All right. Welcome to the Jimmy Door show, everybody. Keaton and Kurt here. While Jimmy is away, Benjamin Netanyahu went on Fox News to help Donald Trump destroy communism. But while he was there, he also made some remarks because there's been some discontent about Israelis treatment of Christians. So here he is insisting that we take care of our friends, especially Christians in the Middle East.
Benjamin Netanyahu
We have some of your AI and cyber expertise. You know, Israel is the number two country in cyber in the world and our technology is Syria.
Kurt Metzger
Well, that's trustworthy. Yeah.
Benjamin Netanyahu
The relations are not quite as they appear. And we have many, many friends. And I have to tell you, we also take care of our friends, especially the Christians in the Middle East.
Keaton Weiss
Oh, yeah.
Benjamin Netanyahu
Christian villages in Lebanon.
Kurt Metzger
Talk to a.
Benjamin Netanyahu
Actually asked to be a next to Israel because we protect them against the.
Keaton Weiss
Is that what you call. Is that what you're doing that's.
Kurt Metzger
She's spitting on a Christian
Benjamin Netanyahu
everywhere.
Savage Joy Marie Mann
Well, you're leading.
Keaton Weiss
That's how Hezbollah got their name.
Savage Joy Marie Mann
On my next.
Keaton Weiss
They named themselves after. After being spat on.
Kurt Metzger
After we spit on Officer Tatum, we
Keaton Weiss
go, yeah, Take great care of their Christian friends and Lebanon.
Kurt Metzger
Take care of their crosses with a sledgehammer to the head.
Benjamin Netanyahu
Head.
Keaton Weiss
By blowing up Christian churches and attacking their congregations.
Kurt Metzger
The Christians love it. They say, please, can we be part of Israel now that we love it.
Keaton Weiss
Here's some video of them taking great care of their friends. Very, very friendly there.
Kurt Metzger
That's from Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift's honeymoon.
Keaton Weiss
That's from Madison Square Garden. They acted up because the air conditioning wasn't turned on high enough. People got very testy in there. Tempers ran high. The Cradle reports Netanyahu falsely claims Christians in Lebanon asked. Asked to be annexed by Israel. In an interview with Fox News on Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu claimed, despite offering no evidence, the Christians in southern Lebanon actually asked for their villages to be annexed by Israel in order to be saved from Hezbollah fanatics. That's right. Lebanese officials firmly rejected Netanyahu's claims, with Ramesh Mayor Ahana Al Amil saying the claims were entirely untrue, stressing that none of the Christian villages in southern Lebanon had sought Israeli protection or annexation, and adding that the very idea of such a thing is absolutely inconceivable. Yeah, yeah, I tend to believe that account. Emil noted that.
Kurt Metzger
Say what he wants. He can say whatever he wants, you dipshits. I don't know who I'm talking to, but you know what I'm saying.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah. Oh, of course. Emil noted that 15 Christian majority villages had already issued a joint statement denying the allegations, emphasizing that they are the beating heart of Lebanon, deeply rooted in patriotism, attachment to their land, and the Lebanese identity city. He also expressed surprise that the claims continued to circulate despite the village's explicit public denial. This comes after long documented records of Israeli attacks on Christian sites and symbols throughout Lebanon, including the demolition of a convent belonging to the Salvation Sisters in Yaroon and the destruction of St. George Church in Derd Gaia. Additionally, viral videos have shown Israeli soldiers desecrating religious icons. Yeah, that went viral, remember? Including probably in statue.
Kurt Metzger
Probably there, right? More than here, even. I'll bet you there they really heard about it, you know.
Keaton Weiss
Oh, yeah, I would say so. Including smashing a statue of Jesus with a jackhammer and desecrating a statue of the Virgin Mary. The claims also come amid increased reports of violence and harassment against Christian communities in Palestine, which include physical assaults on clergy, spitting property, vandalism, and severe movement restrictions.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah, the women.
Keaton Weiss
That's right.
Max Blumenthal
Right.
Keaton Weiss
That's right.
Kurt Metzger
Well, like. And by the way, this is one that Netanyahu condemned. Right? So they've acknowledged, you know, they won't acknowledge, like, the human crimes, but the. This is what he's against, breaking a statue.
Keaton Weiss
Well, there's photo evidence there. I mean, that's a little on the nose. No pun intended.
Benjamin Netanyahu
It's.
Kurt Metzger
I did it on purpose so we could have a thing where he condemned something that the IDF did. That's not too bad, right?
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, certainly could be. I mean, look at that. I mean, that's. It's about as perfect. Perfect a shot as you can see, right? Yeah. Like, why would you film yourself doing that? So if you ask Grok, how many Christian churches of Gaza have been Destroyed since the October 7th attack, they will of course list several incidents of attacks on Christians in Palestine. Tibet. Burning Israeli settlers. Set Christian village alight. Impede firefighters. Great, lovely, lovely, lovely, lovely.
Kurt Metzger
Wait, why are there settlers in Lebanon?
Keaton Weiss
That's in the West. Well, this is. Yeah, this is. This is in. In. In the West Bank. We're just talking about general. Yeah, exactly. For more Christians leaving sram, Across Israel, Christians are being targeted by a tide of hostility and violence, attacks that risk drawing the ire of Christians in the U. S, including evangelicals, who are traditionally among Israel's most armed, ardent American supporters. And this is what it's all about. And this is why the quote unquote woke Reich, as they like to call them, scares them so much. Because you have guys like Tucker Carlson who go on monologues like this, and it gets quite a bit of reach. Tucker Carlson's analysis is devastating. Israel named its operation in Lebanon Eternal Darkness, killed hundreds of civilians, mostly Christians. Carlson calls it a euphemism for hell. And that's exactly what Israel brought to Christians.
Unknown Caller 2
You know what the name of the military operation was? Eternal Darkness. Israel named this operation, killing hundreds of civilians in Lebanon, mostly in Beirut, Eternal Darkness. Because, like, why even pretend anymore? Eternal Darkness, by the way, is mentioned extensively in the New Testament. It's a euphemism for hell. And that's exactly what Israel brought to Christians in Lebanon today. Here's a video of it.
Keaton Weiss
Reminds you a lot of Gaza, really does. It's almost like they were seeing what they could get away with in Gaza.
Kurt Metzger
And it's good as anything, it turns out. Yeah, yeah.
Keaton Weiss
You don't see too many scenes like this out of Gaza anymore because 200 plus journalists have been murdered looking a
Unknown Caller 2
little bit like Gaza. And of course that's the point of Operation Eternal Darkness. But what does it look like on the ground? Again, these are civilians who are murdered by the Israeli military using American weapons and American tax dollars to do it in order to stop a ceasefire that the American president happily announced, to the great relief of the American people. All of it stopped by Operation Eternal Darkness targeting civilians. But if you were a civilian on the ground in Beirut, what did it look like? Well, we have this video which is distressing. This is a little Lebanese girl walking out on a sunny day with her father in a residential neighborhood in Beirut. When the Israelis come in and level the city, here's what it looked like.
Savage Joy Marie Mann
What the.
Benjamin Netanyahu
Yeah.
Keaton Weiss
So you, you're not going to convince Christians that they not only ought to support this, but must support this lest they be what, disloyal to their faith. Like it, there's just, there's just no way to square this circle. And this is why they have such a hard on for the Tuckers and the Candace Owens is because, you know, they bring to bear a contradiction that is just hidden in plain sight. And of course the Christian Zionists are really the glue that holds the coalition together in America. There aren't enough Jews in America to make support for Israel broadly popular. Right. You need that Christian Zionist block. That, that's the whole ball game.
Kurt Metzger
The movies did it. The movies used to do it back in the day with all that like, we gotta stop being pussies. Like how we lost Vietnam because we were so weak week.
Keaton Weiss
And yeah, we gave up on it.
Benjamin Netanyahu
Right.
Kurt Metzger
So that's all the. And so who's making all them movies? Why? Zionist Mossad installed people, Right?
Benjamin Netanyahu
Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
Post World War II order people. And they pushed that. And then when the wokie times happened, see, Israel didn't have to be woke. They had been acting. However, they've been acting the whole time. Right, so where, where these billionaires, these Zionist billionaires who don't live in Israel that push this woke up. What they didn't understand was all their kids that they push this nonsense on are going to notice when Israel's bragging about their crimes. They're gonna pick up on it, right? And then you're gonna see the boomer hissy fit that you communicate him because their kid. Because me and B. Alex kids think she's a dumb, you know?
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, exactly.
Kurt Metzger
And she is a dumb. I can't believe she was on a nerd show. Like she's Smart.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah. No, I mean it's. I mean that, that is a good point. And that was a contradiction. That, that was one more contradiction that was just like laid to bear right after. In fact, I mean, I think I heard you say right after October 7th that that's the end of woke. That's the end of the woke project. Because now that you put anti colonialism in practice, what happens? The people who taught you that say, well, no, no, no, no, no, actually, actually this kind of colonialism is good. And actually you're a bigot if you oppose it. If you oppose.
Brianna Joy Gray
Right.
Keaton Weiss
She was on the other foot out.
Kurt Metzger
Put it in the other thing. Take my money out of WOKE Bill. Your Bill Ackmus and your Pritzkers. The Pritzker family who pushed all the dick chopping surgeries for young, young kids. That's who's profited. Oh, take our money out of that and now put it into Israel's in control. So once again, people think there's a left and right, but there's only upstairs, downstairs. That's all there is.
Keaton Weiss
Well, you see how ideologically malleable the real elites are. Like, when did Elon Musk go all in for Trump? It was after Butler, P.A. and Elon Musk says, well, he felt morally compelled to do it because they tried to kill Donald Trump. The reason he went all in at that point is because that's when it became evident he was going to win. Right.
Kurt Metzger
That's why he's backing Video Army Hammer movie.
Keaton Weiss
Right, exactly right. That's where that's the power play at that point.
Kurt Metzger
Admit Islam is not compatible Western civilization where consenting adults talk about eating each other on the phone and
Keaton Weiss
that's like an INS sell Batman. That's like that guy in that movie is like if Bruce Wayne got no and and just was terminally frustrated and decided, you know what the cars, the gadgets, the costumes. I'm just gonna go shoot people.
Kurt Metzger
It's just a very German version of Death Witch Wish.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, Russell watched it. I didn't watch it. I saw some of the scenes from it and we did a. I heard it's not good. Well, no, it's made by. I mean that guy Uve Bull who directed it was like a notorious schlockmaster. Oh, you have his number?
Kurt Metzger
I interviewed him a while ago. Oh yeah. He's fought his critics and won in a boxing ring. I don't know how that settled the issue. Yeah, well, yeah, and I'm guessing with a big influx. See, I want to ask him. I was sincerely like to ask him. I want he. He was pretty like forthcoming to talk to myself. I wonder if he got some money because he's in the restaurant business in Germany. He'd open up a restaurant. I wonder if he got. There's a business that can go downhill real quickly, you know, especially in bad times.
Benjamin Netanyahu
Right.
Kurt Metzger
You're like, you have no heat in your country because they gave it all to Ukraine. They all your up. So might get some money from a certain like Tommy Robinson money, you know.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
Because it's such specific nonsense about Islam like that it's. He makes them admit that they're not compatible with Western value.
Keaton Weiss
Like yeah, like I said, they're all. They're all ideologically for sale. Like you know, didn't Elon vote for Joe Biden? Like weren't these, like these people were all, you know, Democrats more or less. And then once they realize that the, you know, the woke is out and the right is ascendant, they'll switch. But the one ideological block that the Israel's. That the, that the Israelis rely on in America are the Christian Zionists. And that's why these scenes are as damaging as they are. And it's why people like Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens are. Are as damaging as they are to the Israeli cause because they make it. They make it very difficult to continue brainwashing Christians Christians that they have some moral duty to support.
Kurt Metzger
Also watching promises watching not Trump knocking promises. I understand boomers that where interest rates didn't lower so nobody could ever get a home again. And people that have a home are probably very satisfied with that choice is my guess. But that's only so many people. It's already narrowed way down with that. So everybody else don't matter what I say. You're gonna. Your life sucks. You're gonna know there's a problem sooner or later. It's. When can you not afford to pretend that it's going good? That's. And guess what, right it's coming very soon. Almost no one.
Keaton Weiss
Yes, that's exactly right. All right, let's move right on along here. Got some super chats here or some rumble rants. Recipe 2030. Thank you. That's a rusty rocket Eggman. Shady deal says Kirk. Did you watch Matan lead Gavin into a crisis of wallet?
Kurt Metzger
I like my Todd Evan. That kid's funny.
Keaton Weiss
He's great. Well, I saw the first time I ever. I hadn't even seen that kid until I saw you on his show. That was the first time I had ever seen that was the first time I ever saw him, because I saw
Kurt Metzger
you were on his show. He's great, the accent, but because it sounds like a kid making fun of his parents. Israeli accents, what it sounds like to me.
Keaton Weiss
He's great.
Kurt Metzger
What did you say? You let her work? If I let my girlfriend work, yeah.
Keaton Weiss
Oh, he's really funny. He's really, really good. I think he's a very, very talented, for sure. All right, we got a couple more segments to do, a couple of quick ones before we wrap here. All right. Welcome to the Jimmy Dore show, everyone. Keaton and Kurt here while Jimmy is away. So some more, uh, inside scoops on our greatest ally here, in case you weren't sure who's in charge. U.S. officials believed Israel was plotting to kill Iranian negotiators. A big scoop from the New York Times. U.S. officials believed that Israel might have been plotting to kill Iran's top negotiators while Washington was engaged with Tehran in delicate talks this spring to reach an interim peace deal. According to current and former American officials, killing senior Iranian leaders have been part of Israel's strategy from the start of the war. But American concerns about the targeting of two particular Iranian officials, Abbas Arachi, Iran's foreign minister, and Mohammed Bagar Galaboff, the speaker of the Parliament, spiked during delicate ceasefire negotiations that began in April. I love the New York Times reporting this as if it's all just, you know, normal. Fearful that an Israeli assassination effort would doom the negotiations, the United States, according to some of the officials, went so far as to ask other countries in the region to warn Iran about about the possibility Israel could target the two officials. While US Strikes focused on Iran's navy and missile forces, Israel prioritized targeting the leadership in the early phase of the war, intent on killing as many high ranking officials as it could. That included killing potentially more pragmatic leaders that the Trump administration had hoped to negotiate with, such as Ali Larajani, Iran's top national security official, and Kamal Kharazi, a former Iranian foreign minister. Both men were involved in the negotiations with the United States when they were killed in Israeli airstrikes. So you see, you see how Israel is simply not going to allow for a peace to be negotiated.
Kurt Metzger
They don't have a partner in peace. They don't have a partner in peace. They don't have a partner.
Keaton Weiss
That's right. They don't have a partner in peace.
Kurt Metzger
Officer Tatum lets me spit on him. He's a partner for peace. He's a shabboskoy.
Keaton Weiss
The Trump administration's suspicions about the possible Israeli plot to kill the two top negotiators show how the US And Israeli war aims, which were close at the very beginning of the war, quickly diverged radically. Yeah, that's one way of putting it. And while the United States wanted a peace agreement, Israel has been skeptical from the initial cessation of hostilities in April. So that is New York Times speak for Israel will not let the United States make a peace. Like to, to phrase that as if. Yeah, Israel has some justifiable skepticism about the terms of a peace deal. As if this whole thing wasn't their idea to begin with. As if they're not holding the entire world hostage with nuclear stakes in this now what, six month long?
Kurt Metzger
That's a conspiracy. That's ridiculous. Yeah, cnn, we'll call everyone in the world. We don't care. It's the nuttiest thing to watch where I'm watching these people say one thing one day, of course.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
And the next day the opposite. And then the people I know that still support. I'm actually texting my friend right now in anger where I'm like, do you not know how do you not know about this yet?
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, no, it's, it's incredible. It really is. The initial two week ceasefire in April was met with grudging Israeli officials support and broad public concern in Israel that the United States was ending the war too quickly. It was just broad public concern. Again, that's just the New York Times just sanitizing. You know, it's funny, just a little inside baseball. When Malcolm pitched this story to me, he sent me the antiwar.com article by our friend Dave DeCamp, who's great. I, I, well, I, I try to feature his stuff and their stuff as often as I can, but that was sourced from this, this. And I thought, you know what? It's actually more telling to put the source because you get to see the bias as it's written. Right. Like it actually is useful to read this and dissect it. Broad public concern in Israel that the United States was ending the war too early. You see how reasonable they make them sound? Oh, yeah.
Kurt Metzger
Are they?
Keaton Weiss
There was a lot of concern that, you know, American kids. Yeah, exactly like I'm concerned.
Kurt Metzger
You make him into goy jerky. I got them concerns.
Keaton Weiss
Those are some, those are those. That is a broad public concern in the podcaster community. Yes, indeed. Rather than being driven from power, the theocratic government of Iran had become even more hardline. And Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had only consolidated its control over the country. Officials and commentators in Israel viewed the initial agreement as a disaster. Again. Oh, they, they. This was their honest opinion. You know, we all want the same thing, right? But the world's a complicated place, right, because it did not accomplish their country's war aims of forcing regime change, destroying Iran's proxy forces, and seriously damaging its missile program. Israeli officials also worried the agreement would put billions of dollars into Iran, allowing it to quickly rebuild after the war and without meaningfully restricting its nuclear ambitions. Now, remember. Remember back in April when Donald Trump tweeted out, a whole civilization will die tonight, rather never to be brought back again. And he gave them a deadline. Eight o' clock tonight. Now, here's how the reasonable Israelis who had, you know, broad public concerns about the war ending too soon, they actually, these sick fucks actually put a countdown clock on their TV screen as to when the deadline was, hoping that Donald Trump would end their civilization at the time that he promised. So, yeah, there they are, just like ringing in the new year, right? 8 hours, 58 seconds, 57. Israeli TV says power to the people is counting down to Trump's threatened genocide of the Iranian people and civilization. But, you know, they just have broad public concerns. They're acting in good faith. What about this? Remember this? This is when they announced the MoU. This is Israel Higham. This is Mira Madeleson's magazine, her newspaper. In Israel, they run this big op ed. You could have been the greatest president of all, but you failed, Mr. President. You have gravely harmed the human interests of the enlightened world, and you may be remembered forever as the president who brought about America's humiliation. You betrayed us, the Israelis. And in a single moment, the contempt you once faced suddenly seems so justified and logical. Wow. That's Miriam's newspaper. Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
Excuse me, young man. This isn't fresh. Yeah, waiting tables for the pushy lady. No tip at the end.
Keaton Weiss
You sat us too close to the window. You don't have a seat more inside.
Kurt Metzger
That wasn't a quality ham.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, yeah, exactly. This was something. This was on Israeli TV when the MoU was announced. This was my favorite. This was my favorite. This guy floats. The Iranians are using a low frequency electromagnetic weapon to influence Trump's decisions. Let's take a look at this guy.
Kurt Metzger
Is it Lnick saying he will show the files?
Keaton Weiss
Yeah. Electromagnetic powers. The Russians have it, the Koreans have it, and the Iranians have it. I know it sounds like I took it from some fictional movie, but it's really what's happening on the job they're working with this weapon and in my opinion, they've injected these waves. I don't exist. It could be that even in Russia, when he was in Russia. It's very easy. Even from the routines in Washington. Sorry, China. They hid him in China. They can see this weapon from the routines in Washington, Believe it or not. He asked me to share where the request came from. We're working on it. Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
That's Yuri Geller, the famous spoon bender. Oh, yeah, yeah, he's a scumbag. And him and James Randy, the other Mosad plant, would do a little Punch and Judy skeptic versus believer act all these years.
Keaton Weiss
Wow.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah, they run both sides of everything. He's so Yuri Geller. So you know Avi Loeb, the great Avi Loeb with the three eye atlas. Oh, go on your vacation now because we're not the last word that gets here. So Trump just put him on the Alien Revealing the Aliens Committee or whatever the. That guy is a direct descendant of Balsham Tov, the founder of Haridi Judaism. And he's the guy from. It's like their DARPA in Israel. He's a Harvard professor, but he's some Israeli, you know, NSA guy or something thing, Right. Or their version of darpa. So they comp. Uri Geller. All the UFO crap. You see, it's Stephen, what's his name? With the bad skin. Doc, who's always doing the. You know, my team will tell you about these UFOs. We've had the Cape. You've seen them before, right? Stephen Greer. You've seen Stephen Greer?
Keaton Weiss
No, I mean, not that I. Maybe I have. I don't remember.
Kurt Metzger
He was the big disclosure guy with the bad skin. He's sponsored by Rockefeller. But all He's Baha'.
Donald Trump
I.
Kurt Metzger
Would. You know, they're Israeli. Cut out religion. Israel controls all that crap. Why do you think we get all this UFO crap now? I think Spielboys got disclosure out.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, there you go. It all comes together. Yeah, there you there. There you have it. There you have it. I mean, you know, maybe Donald Trump was the. Was the glue that. That sticks it all together here. Speaking of Donald Trump, this is him today threatening to restart the war. Restart. Which is weird because I thought that we were taking a break during the Ayatollah's funeral, but here he is making a deal.
Donald Trump
I don't know. We'll make either. Look, we're going to win one way or the other. We're either going to make a deal or we're going to finish the job. Okay. And it won't be tough to finish.
Kurt Metzger
What is that thing behind him?
Donald Trump
I'd rather make a deal because I don't want to affect 91 million people. We can knock down their bridges in one hour. We can knock out their energy supply. All of those big plants that they built, big, beautiful, modern plants had a lot of money. They don't have any money now. We haven't given them any money. But we can knock out their electricity and power generating plants. And I would say a small part of an afternoon, every plant will be gone. And they know that. They know that.
Kurt Metzger
Is that a Reptilian behind him? What? Why does he have openly have Reptilians behind him now?
Keaton Weiss
Oh, who, the guy, the chick on her? Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
That creepy mummy behind him next to the other guy who looks like a creep Next. The other guy who looks like Rich Voss.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah. Boxes are in. In the hen house. You. You could say so. So, yeah. No, you have to hold your breath that they're not going to murder the negotiators. You have Israeli tv, Israeli media egging him on every time he tries to make some kind of peace. Every time he tries to wiggle out of it. No, it doesn't seem like they're in the driver's seat at all. He's wanted to wiggle out of this since he got into it. The New York Times reported that his inner circle did not believe Netanyahu, and Netanyahu told him how easy it was going to. To be. And what we've seen at the Ayatollah's funeral is pretty much cold, hard proof that he was being lied to. It's not proof that we needed. It's. It's. It's what we knew would transpire all along. But it's just amazing how story after story after story can come out this time about the Israelis trying to kill the negotiating partners, how this state can still be treated as an ally. And then you see these people who come out here and act as if. Yeah, what they did to Gaza was terrible. But we still believe in a secure Israel because they're our. They're our important ally. How. How is this country an ally? By. By what definition is this country an ally of ours? It's amazing. It really is.
Kurt Metzger
Well, I guess that lady who was wearing a child's skin behind the press. You have to ask her.
Unknown Caller 2
Her.
Keaton Weiss
Gotta ask her. She's got the answers. All right, folks, we got one more segment. We're just gonna take a couple of chats here first. Oh, No, I think we none came in in the interim. All right, so then we will go right on to our final segment of the evening. This is a quick one, but an important one, I think. So let's put this one in the can. Welcome to the Jimmy Dore show, everybody. Keaton and Kurt here while Jimmy is away. This is a quick one, but I think it's an important one. Israel exposed tweets out. It took a little longer than expected, but we have created a website for people to view the footage collected from Gaza in one place. You no longer have to download the entire archives to see them. It includes 64,000 plus videos, 17,000 plus photos, the ability to download individual individual videos, a searchable index, exhaustive sources, list of over 300 journalists, geolocation data, live map with minute to minute updates and a victim list. It can be accessed here@archivegenocide.com now, we're not going to show you any of the footage here. I don't know that we can on YouTube. I wouldn't show it to you even if I could. I think it's up to you to pick what you would like to expose yourself to or not expose yourself to. It's obviously extraordinarily really upsetting and disturbing and they even blurred out the images for the tweet. But essentially this was created in response to the censorship and suppression of the evidence of the genocide in Gaza. And this is, this is a necessary thing to do in response to social media censorship because, you know, as much as we like to call ourselves independent media here, we are operating on platforms that have rules and those rules are often enforced arbitrarily. And so in order to preserve this evidence, you have to go outside social media. And they created a website so they continue on. Please share and quote tweet to help this post break out of the Twitter algorithm prison. We will keep adding the rest of the archives to the site. Be patient, it is difficult work. Continue to send the torrents provided as that is the best way to ensure the footage remains stored in decentralized way. God bless all those who sacrifice their lives to get this footage out and everyone involved in collecting and archiving it. And there's links to their telegram and their social media accounts. At the time I screenshotted this, this had over 17 million views. So it is getting out there on social media, but it is a website archive, genocide.com and it is open sourced. So apparently a lot of the material is available for download so that in case they run into a problem with their server or whoever it can be preserved. But once again, this is done in response to a lot of social media suppression, especially on the Zuckerberg platforms here. Leaked data reveals massive Israeli campaign to raise remove pro Palestine posts on Facebook and Instagram. This just came out a couple weeks ago. Israel asked Facebook to censor Iran war content. Internal documents show. Company records reviewed by the Intercept show Israel urged Facebook and Instagram to take down posts supportive of Iran. Twitter is suffocating us. A call for solidarity from the Palestine Chronicle. So there is suppression and censorship on X as well. And of course, censorship of the most brutal kind. Global Investigative Journalism Network posts how Israel's unprecedented killing of Palestinian journalists in Gaza makes accountability reporting almost impossible. Hundreds of journalists killed. More journalists killed in Gaza than in the first. First two world wars combined. And here's Jewish Democrats. Jake Oz calls for censorship on social media to fight against anti Semitism. So the censorship will continue on these platforms.
Unknown Caller 1
As we know, the mushrooming of anti Semitism within the Democratic Party, which is a problem. I reject it. Within the Republican Party, where it is a problem. You saw Tom Massey run ads with Star of David behind his opponent. You see Brandon Herrera in Texas wallowing in Nazi iconography.
Keaton Weiss
You can't make the Star of David the flag of your state and then complain when people portray it in a negative light in response to a genocide. Star of Jeffrey antisemitism. That's a depiction of the Israeli flag, okay? I mean, it's just amazing how they go out of their way to equate Judaism and Zionism and then this is the trick that they always pull. If they make their flag the Star of David, then you can't make a statement against them without attacking all Jews.
Unknown Caller 1
I reject the mushrooming of anti Semitism within the Democratic Party, which is a problem. I reject it. Within the Republican Party, where it is a problem. You saw Tom Massey run ads with Star of David behind his opponent. You see Brandon Hurt Herrera in Texas wallowing in Nazi iconography. It's a huge issue on both sides. We have to condemn it on both sides. And I've done that clearly and unequivocally for the last five years. We also have to look at the fundamental drivers of anti Semitism, which I believe is social media in general. Scapegoating of Jews happens in failed societies. It happens when the pathologies of the moment are turned against the other. And right now we're seeing anti Semitism mushrooms on social media because it's a failed society. There's no norms, there's toxicity. And we have to Hold Meta and TikTok and Insta and Snap and the rest of them accountable for the corrosion that they are platforming.
Keaton Weiss
Yeah, this guy, I mean that is just from, from outer space. The, the criticisms are of the Israeli state. There's no scapegoating Jews for anything. The kind of censorship that he's talking about is, is censorship of content related to the genocide in Gaza, the incursions, the genocidal incursions into Lebanon and of course the war in Iran. And now he's saying that we have to hold social media companies accountable. I mean we already saw so much of this during the Biden years where the, the government leaned directly on these social media companies to censor certain content. And so you know, this is, this is not a Democrat or Republican thing. Both of these, these parties are, are extremely sensor happy when they're in power. Oddly enough. You know, everybody's for, for free speech when they're out of power because they use speech to gain power and then when they gain power they're not not so much for free speech anymore.
Kurt Metzger
Well, I forgot about that and I, I've moved on to the next thing and I'm not black pilled and I'm being positive and Israel and something Israel. Communism is our greatest enemy.
Keaton Weiss
That's right.
Unknown Caller 1
We're seeing anti Semitism mushroom on social media because it's a failed society. There's no norms, there's toxicity and we have to hold Meta and Tik Tok and Insta and Snap and the rest of them accountable for the corrosion that they are platforming.
Brianna Joy Gray
Yeah.
Keaton Weiss
So you know.
Kurt Metzger
Oh, but that's the woke. The woke White is doing that. Not the, not the. That's a really amazing thing to say. Woke. Right from far right Ashkenazis. That's just like my favorite. Oh my God, I did an Israeli girl for 10 years and I'll never forget because you know, I knew more about the Bible than she did. She didn't. It was just a ethnic thing with her family. They didn't bother to teach you any of it. But they were virulently races at a deep core level that you could mistake for religion had October 7th not happened. But now looking back I realize it's actually total racism is what it is. It's actually quite amazing.
Keaton Weiss
Of course. Absolutely. It rivals Great Britain racism. Yeah. Oh 100. 100. No question about it. You know, X is the number one news app in, in the country and news breaks fastest there and so people get into the habit of just scrolling your Twitter feed to get news. But it is important to diversify where you get news from. And so they created this old fashioned thing called a website to try and censor proof this evidence of these grotesque crimes. So if you would like to go and check it out, do be cautioned. It is extremely upsetting, obviously. Obviously. But that is, that is a worthwhile project that they started. And so I thought we should, we should shout it out here and let everybody know about it. All right, that is our show. I'm gonna read some super chats. But Kurt, I guess it's a job well done for you. I guess you're wrapped as they say.
Kurt Metzger
Oh my God. I have time for this. I'm on 7 of Indonesian. That's right, Dancing boy culture.
Keaton Weiss
Get back to your Indonesian, your 16th century.
Kurt Metzger
I'm Cat lauding the whole thing of that one documentary that was real big for a minute, but I hadn't heard of it. So I wasted my time doing my thing about Indonesia. But thing covered. Yeah, I certainly don't want to talk about the DSA that I supposedly am in charge of.
Keaton Weiss
That's right, that's right. So we, we have taken enough of your time, good sir. Please get back to your secret work. All right, see you later. All right, Raven, Laz Trump, boys. Now Miriam is threatening to try out a new 15 incher with metal spikes in a spin feature on the shred of Trumpoose. I'm gonna have to bomb these fucking Persians to literally save my ass. Steve Bertram says if that website is still up a year from now, I'll eat my sock. Well, they have open source things. See, I don't know how all this lingo works. So I don't exactly know what it means to open source something. But I think what they mean is that anybody can kind of download the stuff so that if it gets taken down, you have it. So I believe that is how they, they worked that out. I don't want to say anything wrong here because I don't really know how much of that stuff works, but that is my understanding. That is my understanding. Thanks everybody very much for being here tonight. Thanks to Jimmy and Steph for the opportunity. Thanks of course to the team here, Misha, Malcolm, Andrew and company. You guys are always great. Thanks to our guest, Savage, Joy Marie man. And of course Kurt Metzger for taking time out of his seven part Portuguese colonialism series to be with us. Russ will be in the host chair on Wednesday and then I'll be back in the host chair on Friday. So big due dissidents marathon with week. I'll be on tomorrow on the Due dissident show at 1pM if you want to say hello over there, drop in and say hi. Always good to see everybody. Thanks very much for being here tonight. Always a pleasure. We'll see you next time. Have a great evening.
