and hit some head on. It's the Jimmy Dore Show.
Misty Winston
Hey everybody and welcome to the Jimmy Dore Show. I'm your guest host for today, Misty Winston. And we have another jam packed show, another one. This is a big one. This is a big one. So we're going to dive right in. We're not going to mess around. Later on in the show we're going to have Kit from Hardlands Media joining us for the back half of the show. So make sure you stick around for that. But to open the show, I'm very excited about this. I'm, I'm not going to lie though, I'm a little overwhelmed. So we're going to be talking to Whitney Webb and Mark Goodwin. So Whitney Webb and obviously don't need an introduction here, but we're going to do one anyway. Whitney Webb is an independent investigative journalist, author and contributing editor at Unlimited Hangout. And Mark Goodwin is the former chief of Bitcoin Magazine and the author of the Bitcoin Dollar and Economic Monomyth. Together they have recently written a monster, absolutely monster investigative piece on the history, origins and ambitions of polymarket. The first part was recently published. So we're going to go through that and then maybe at the end we'll talk a little bit about what we can expect for the second half of this piece. So let's bring in Mark and Whitney. Hey guys, thanks for joining me. I appreciate it.
Whitney Webb
Hello, Misty.
Misty Winston
Hey, good to see you guys. Yeah, of course. This is not gonna lie, a little overwhelming. This, this piece is massive. And so I wanted to start because I think that most people are pretty familiar with prediction markets and all of that stuff. They've become pretty ubiquitous in our culture in recent years. But what I found super interesting and just starting off your piece is how far back this kind of model actually goes. I mean we're talking like what, like 40 years of history or something. So what did, when you guys were looking into this, what for you was the first sort of the first use of this type of, of prediction model?
Whitney Webb
Yeah. So as we know in the piece, the first modern prediction market, you could either point to the Iowa electronics market, which came out of the University of Iowa in the 1980s, but the more the, the first one that's the most like the prediction markets we know Today started in 1994. It was called the Foresight Exchange and it was sort of the brainchild of this guy named Robin Hanson, who developed the idea or the concept of idea futures a few years before that. And so this was like a prediction market online, but it was with play money, right? Not real money like the ones today. And it allowed people to bet on all sorts of things that weren't just like presidential politics, which is how the Iowa one had kind of started, but also like, will this discovery happen in science? And, you know, all sorts of general things not tied to traditional betting, I guess so. Robin Hansen is a recurring figure throughout this piece because not only did he create that, those, you know, really essential ideas to the genesis of modern prediction markets, but he also was the main system architect behind DARPA's, which is the US military branch, their failed efforts to create the policy analysis market, which colloquially kind of became known as the terrorism futures market and was highly controversial. And then he later became involved with another, an advisor to a Peter Thiel linked startup called Augur, that, as we note in the article, seemed to be the first attempt to resurrect DARPA's policy analysis market. And then had been contacted by Shane Coplin, who created Polymarket before he officially made Polymarket. And the official narrative says that Hansen brushed off Coplin. But after our article came out, Robin Hansen was like, actually, that's not true. But he didn't continue on. So I guess he was more involved. But he was essentially, is probably the most important figure that we can thank for the current iteration of prediction market mania that we see today.
Misty Winston
Yeah, they're everywhere. Freaking everywhere. Which, I mean, it's to be expected with things like sports betting and all of that. But I mean, Poly Market, I mean, you can literally bet on anything, which is insane to me. I remember seeing a. I don't even know what award show was, but there was a clip of what's that guy, Trevor Noah. And he said, like, just randomly said potato. And he's like, if you bet on me saying potato during this broadcast, you just won a lot of money. And I'm like, you can bet on people saying words like, that's crazy story.
Mark Goodwin
Just come out. Sorry, Missy, but didn't the story just come out yesterday or the day before that? Like, Trump's teleprompter operator?
Misty Winston
We're gonna cover that later. Yes, okay.
Mark Goodwin
Sorry. No, that's okay.
Whitney Webb
No, no, no.
Misty Winston
I have that piece. I was gonna do it with you guys, but we have so much to go through and your article that I'm like, I don't know if I can squeeze it in. So I am going to do a separate later on that story.
Kit Cabello
Yes.
Misty Winston
Okay, great. Yeah. Okay, so I'm glad that you brought up darpa because isn't DARPA always involved? I mean, it's just it. But we've seen this. Go ahead, please.
Whitney Webb
No, just DARPA essentially made the Internet so.
Misty Winston
Right.
Whitney Webb
You know, it was first arpanet, I guess, before it became the DARPA free iteration we know today as the Internet. And so a lot of their hands seem to be in a lot of Internet related pies.
Mark Goodwin
Yeah, I guess. And that's a huge part of, I think a lot of the work Whitney's been doing for years. And, and I've been tagging along recently. But yeah, just this kind of general idea of a lot of these ideas started within the Pentagon and at then, you know, sort of military contractors. And it slowly went from being like direct, you know, government public officials to then government contractors to then, you know, the CIA starting a venture firm and basically the intelligence and military community at this technological level moving entirely into the private sector as a way to deal with like public backlash. You know, whether it was specifically this, you know, the terrorist futures market, you know, one of the main reasons why this, you know, the future map was shuttered, it was because, you know, these two senators kind of came out and were like, this is crazy. They're like making bets on when the next nine, 11 will happen. This is terrible. And so they like kind of realized, okay, we can't do this in the, in the public sector. But if we kind of rebranded all of this stuff we had cooking here, you know, with, you know, guys that Whitney's been talking about forever. Poindexter and I'm sure we'll get into a lot of this, but this whole model is not new. Something starting in DARPA and then getting spread out into the private sector. And very specifically we describe a new model in this piece, which I'm sure we'll get into. But this idea of the napsterization model, which is kind of like the next iteration of okay, we can't do it in the public sector, let's do it in the private sector. And then. Well, actually it's still illegal to do a bunch of stuff in the private sector. So let's create a company that just disrupts and blows up the market and then we'll re, we'll rebuild the market, charge a bunch of money for a service that was free and you know, basically do the Napster do Spotify model. That's, you know, we, we propose that that's what they did with Augur and, and Poly Market. So I'll leave the rant there. There's obviously a lot to cover there,
Misty Winston
but there's, I mean, there's like in going through this article, I'm like, how am I even going to do this? Like, I don't even know how to do this. Like, this is insane. It's just a lot. It's a lot. And my brain is so scattered that it's difficult for me to like hold things in places where they're supposed to be. And so I get all, I go all over the place. So I'm going to try really hard, guys, to be at least.
Whitney Webb
No, don't worry about it. It is a lot of stu. It would be hard for me to keep it all in my brain if I wasn't putting it like on paper and publishing it as articles. Right. Because if you're just like absorbing the stuff, it's hard to talk about it without organizing it. Which is why we do long form investigative stuff for the people that want to see the process and also the sourcing. But also like, just for me, it's much easier to talk about something if I've written it out, you know.
Misty Winston
Yeah, that's fair because I've always been very intimidated by your brain and mark you as well. But I mean, just like the idea that you're able to keep all of this information and then pull it, like I'm able to absorb information, but then to keep the names and the dates and the stuff and the programs and everything, to just have readily available to pull it will. I don't have that.
Mark Goodwin
So I'm very, I'm still intimidated by her brain. I mean, it's not, it's not. Come on. I mean, I know you're trying to
Misty Winston
make me feel better. Like I write it down so it's easier. No, you just have a different brain. That's okay. I'm, I'm, I'm self aware about my brain being not great. Okay. So in talking about like these defense programs, and this is not the first time that we've seen these like, nefarious defense programs, they get sussed out, somebody raises, you know, concerns about it and then they sort of take it away very, you know, very swiftly and then they just reimagine it and then reintroduce it in the private sector. That's been something that they've done. I mean, with LifeLog becoming Facebook. Right. It's that sort of same thing. And, and is, is that it I mean, essentially that's, that's what happened here, right? They had this, the, the policy analysis market and they were essentially, it is, it was just like betting on terrorists, right? Betting on terrorism. And yeah, the theory that they can, that if they have this market where you can bet on those things that are they positing that that is a way that they can then prevent those things from happening because then they can see who's betting where.
Whitney Webb
Okay, that was the argument, the idea that like the wisdom of the market would allow them to prevent things or know things before they happen. And so that's a key point to take from this whole idea of like what was the policy analysis market, which was a sub project under what Mark mentioned a second ago. Future Map was like the broader program that this was kind of nestled within. But basically this was all under the umbrella of something at DARPA in The aftermath of 9 11, a brainchild of our friends Dick Cheney and John Poindexter, who, if you don't know him, was the highest ranking member the Reagan administration prosecuted with multiple felonies for his role in Iran Contra.
Mark Goodwin
Friend of the show.
Whitney Webb
So, yeah, so, so, you know, Dick Cheney was like, this is who should lead this office after 9 11. So you know, it's terrible just from that. But the Information Awareness Office was all about predicting things before they happen. And they said it was how we'll predict, you know, another 911 before it happens was the justification at the time. But if you go back and study 911 and know that these were involved in creat 9 11, then obviously, you know, they have an ulterior motive there. And so basically the goal of this was to create a surveillance dragnet. And all these different programs, including the Policy Analysis Market, would feed the information, predictive information and all this other data into the jewel and the crown of this office. And that program was called Total Information Awareness, or tia, and they later renamed it Terrorism Information Awareness Market to try and make it sound like they weren't going to suck up data on millions of innocent Americans, which it still was after the name change. It was just like a PR thing when people started to get kind of concerned about it. So basically the, the outcomes predicted by things like the Policy Analysis Market would have been fed into tia. And so I've actually written about TIA a lot over the past several years, and if you're familiar with my work, you may know that I reported back in 2020 that Palantir is the privatized version of TIA. It's, if you look at the evidence, it's very ob that it's exactly what Peter Thiel and Alex Karp set out to do incorporating Palantir right after the controversy hit tia they have that name change. And then a neocon in the Bush administration in the Department of Defense specifically is contacted by Thiel and Karp and sets them up with Poindexter because they want to recreate, and this is in mainstream media, they wanted to recreate what Poindexter had tried to do at darpa. This is literally what it's supposed to be. And so Palantir is meant to, you know, the privatized version still is meant to plug into all of these data sources and then predict things before they happen. That's why Palantir in the modern sense has been leading on predictive policing, which is essentially pre crime. And they have various connections with other companies that have been privatized out of the same DARPA office, which was shut down, but not in defunded, but just divided up basically between intelligence agencies and the private sector. And the goal is the same. They just basically tried to activate these programs in a way that would sort of slip under the radar and not make people as mad. But it's basically an effort to lead us into pre crime and predicting things before they can happen. And if you're aware of what Poindexter and a lot of these Iran Contra guys were trying to do back in the 80s, this isn't about preventing terrorism. This is about quelling dissent and stopping dissent before it becomes a threat to their order. And if you look back at my past reporting on the continuity of government protocols that this Iran Contra crowd, which included Cheney, even though he wasn't officially in government at the time that they tried to develop it, was ways to basically suspend constitutional rights for Americans that might become unfriendly under a vaguely defined national emergency, which could include numerous things, including nonviolent mass demonstrations against U.S. military, military intervention abroad, so peaceful protests against something. So now that we have as we can potentially talk about later, it's not in the article, but we have people in the Trump administration saying the resurgence of political terrorism is here.
Misty Winston
Yeah, I'm also going to be talking about Miller.
Whitney Webb
Yeah. And Marco Rubio and these guys saying that like these are the neocons, they are back and they have. They are now trying to successfully have go live this system they were trying to create under George W. Bush. They have now made it and they are trying to create the conditions to be able to use it and suspend people's Constitutional rights. And so that whole national security memorandum, or NSPM 7 that they were talking about in that thing, it's all about being able to debank, defund, prosecute all these people just for what they have done, but for what they might do. And this was something that the Trump administration tried to do last time. If you were paying attention by having people, by having AI scan social media and decide if you are showing early warning signs of neuropsychiatric violence, whatever that means, and then could flag you and treat you based on that. So anyway, I'll stop there and.
Mark Goodwin
Well, the development, the hypocrisy of it, you know, last time we were on independently, but on the Jimmy Dore show, you know, we were talking about the, the data center piece that we had just done in, in, you know, your. Your home state in, in Ohio. And there's been a ton of public backlash at, you know, the data center movement. You know, since it's become a really big political. Not saying since we went on the. I'm not saying it's. It's us, but since, you know, since that time it's been talked more.
Misty Winston
Yeah, yeah.
Mark Goodwin
It's become a really big talking point and people are starting to really push back. And you look at, you know, these guys that. That's the big money behind AI, you know, these. Andreessen, Horowitz, Mark Andreessen, you know, Teal and this, this group that, you know, a year ago was on this big publicity tour about being debanked and about how banking. Is this constitutional or human right? And it's so crazy that the Biden war on crypto, you know, speech or censorship.
Whitney Webb
Yeah, about these things.
Mark Goodwin
Yeah. Like, you know, the right was so persecuted and, and now, you know, they're literally. The State Department is hosting, you know, like their own little like. Like Bonnaroo, like a little festival. And they're all coming together and they're like, we're gonna work with local law enforcement and intelligence and the State Department and the military to identify, disrupt, debank lefties. It's like, what have the lefties done? If this isn't about speech, what have they. There hasn't been a terrorist attack yet. I mean, it's not like there's been a data center that's blown up or. I mean, nothing has happened. I'm not saying that it won't happen or that it won't be, you know, a big deal moving on. That there might not be a violent leftist pushback. I'm not saying that that won't happen. But it hasn't happened. So what are we basing this on? If it's not speech, if it's not rhetoric, and obviously it is, and these guys now that it's like, oh shoot, they're attacking us for, you know, this data center push because people have realized that oh, maybe this isn't data centers to like, you know, you know, solve cancer or fix agricultural problems or whatever. Maybe it's just a giant surveillance dragneck to go through all of our communications and triangulate everything and do heuristic analysis and every, you know, maybe these data centers aren't pro human. Maybe they are taking jobs. You know, maybe this isn't a good thing. And now they're like setting up an unbelievable group of collaborators to attack political dissonance. And you know, this is America. We should have political dissonance. It should be allowed. Obviously there's, you know, things that we don't condone and there's things that are illegal and unconstitutional within dissonance. But, but being a dissonance shouldn't be something you should be afraid of being debanked for, especially after the way this administration came in.
Whitney Webb
Well, it's unconstitutional at the end of
Misty Winston
the day is, you know. Yes, that and they, I mean they claim to care so much about the Constitution. And this for me as a free speech activist who's very, very pro speech, this has been something that has been the bane of my existence for a long time because I feel like on each side it's not one or the other. Leftists are all about free speech until they want to shut somebody on the right up and in vice versa, the people on the right are very pro free speech until they want to shut somebody on the left up. And so there's this just unbelievable glaring hypocrisy on both sides. And everybody wants their rights until they can effectively use it against their enemies.
Mark Goodwin
Right.
Whitney Webb
And so it'll be used against everybody. That's the point. So like today, you know, they're saying it's about leftists, but it's really going to be about anyone who like complains about specific agendas of the administration that's in power. Even if it switches from, you know, red party to blue party or whatever.
Misty Winston
Really all the same.
Whitney Webb
Anyway, yeah, it's still going to be the same. So you know, the AI data center building push and the AI infrastructure build out, people that get in the way of that, even if they're on the right will be targeted by this.
Mark Goodwin
Right.
Whitney Webb
And if you are against, I don't know Perhaps the Iran war, as that continues to go, even though a lot of people on the right are against that, you could be treated as a political terrorist for speech. There's a lot of efforts to develop this and I would encourage people to go look at reporting by unlimited hangout from the past and, and others just about how the US Government has been defining domestic terrorism in recent years for a long time.
Misty Winston
I mean, I remember it was like maybe 2016, 2017 maybe. I don't, I may be way off on the date there, but some years ago I remember, I think it was Department, Department of Homeland Security put out that little flyer thing about domestic violent extremists. And it was basically everybody like, hey, do you care about the environment just a little too much? You're an extremist. Hey, do you care about speech a little too much?
Whitney Webb
My personal favorite is if you are against or angered by a perceived government overreach.
Misty Winston
Yeah, yes. Yeah. Suddenly you're in terrorists and these words.
Mark Goodwin
I mean, now basically getting this whole coalition of baddies of ghouls together to fight, you know, terror. You know, the, the terror is such a good boogeyman because it can be redefined. You know, terror is such a, you know, a subjective definition. You know, of course there are things most people can agree on are terror, but like they can just say, oh, you're a terrorist. Yeah, domestic, you know, it's, it's so wishy washy.
Whitney Webb
But at the end of the day, the real terrorists are the national security state of the US and several other countries. So they're. Any claim by them to actually be fighting terrorism is crap.
Mark Goodwin
Yeah, I'm pretty sure this administration is waging a war without congressional approval. So I don't know. I don't know.
Whitney Webb
Blowing up girls schools. Yeah, yeah.
Mark Goodwin
Using anthropic AI.
Misty Winston
I mean, slaughtering civilians en masse, aiding and funding a genocide. I mean, we could go on and on and on. So. Yes, and I've been saying this for a long time. I mean, the United States is easily the world's largest terrorist organization, if by any measurable definition. I don't think that there's any really debating that at this point. I mean, it is by far. It's not even close. Like, not even close. I mean, somebody argued with me the other day that it's Israel that is in fact. And no, Israel has nothing on us. They haven't even existed long enough to, to be on our level. So yeah, I mean, it's, it's a, it's a crazy thing to, to watch this play out. And it's crazy to see American citizens cheering for this kind of stuff and not recognizing the danger that it puts them in. And again, it's that. That weird tribalism and hypocrisy where, oh, well, that person I don't like is going to be impacted by this. So I'm going to cheer it on without the foresight of recognizing that this is coming for. We've seen that time and time again. I mean, you had the right cheering on Black Lives Matter protesters getting brutalized, and then you had Black Lives Matter protesters cheering when J6ers got brutalized. And I'm like, you guys don't even realize that. The reason. The reason this happens to you is because you cheer it on when it happens to the other side. And you just. You're effectively giving permission for it to continue. And it's just.
Mark Goodwin
And you're not allowed to be critical of the U.S. government. I mean, they might make it illegal. Right now it's not. Which is nice. I'm glad we can all talk here today. But it's like, no, you can only be mad at Israel. You can only be mad at Russia. And, you know, obviously we saw last night China. And, you know, it's like, those are. You know, there's some blame to be given there, sure. But, like, why not get mad at the US Government for what they're doing? Why do we have to blame, you know, China or Russia or Israel for everything and not the US Government for their participation on all of these things? I think the multipolar world, again, this is. We could go talk seven hours on. On a lot of these threads being brought up here. And I'm sure we should go back to prediction markets, but. Yeah, you know, but maybe this is a good segue. It's an interesting thing. We got a lot of shit for this article because Whitney dared use the Israeli VC ties as the example in her tweet explaining the origin story of Shane Copeland and Poly Market of being like, hey, he actually had this company beforehand that had all these ties to, like, Israeli VCs, including family members of Netanyahu. And people went insane on us about how we're anti Semitic and all this because we're talking about Israel. It's like, no, the piece is about darpa. The piece is about US Intelligence. There's a bit about Israel in there. But, like, what are we talking about?
Misty Winston
Well, let's talk a little bit about that. Let's. Because polymarket has been presented as this, like, cool new hit prediction Market, like fun, you know, trendy, whatever, founded by this plucky young college dropout who, you know, he built it in his bathroom.
Whitney Webb
Misty, all alone in his bathroom with a laptop on his toilet.
Misty Winston
I mean, how many times have we heard that story? Google was started in a garage. Jeff Bezos, this plucky young guy, started Amazon from his garage. Like, it's just this ridiculous story that we just keep getting force fed over and over again. So, and it's obviously just a front. And you know, they try to claim that this kid is just, you know, this random guy who had this great idea and it's not that. So who is is Shane Coplin? Who is this guy?
Whitney Webb
So he grew up in New York and as a teen he was like smart but unmotivated. And he pretty much like admitted that as a teen he realized that he'd have to find a different way to compete with his peers than conventional means to achieve his dreams of becoming fabulously wealthy, which of course he has since achieved. So he figured out, he, I guess did figure out a way to compete unconventionally. And as we note in the article, it seems like he did that by studying up on the big tech billionaires like Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook, which we talked about being very similar, almost too similar to DARPA's lifelog. And also Travis Kalanick, who is of uber fame and would later go in to invest in Polymarket, interestingly enough. And so basically he became like a top expert as a teenager interning at this company called Rap Genius, which later just became called Genius, which is like this effort to annotate the web. And he became their top expert on Zuckerberg in particular. And so if you have closely studied Mark Zuckerberg's trajectory, you will probably know that the only reason the Facebook at the time, when it was founded, later Facebook and now Meta was successful is because it got in bed with Reid Hoffman and Peter Thiel very early. And that the guy that made that happen was Sean Parker, who is clearly a big influence, even though he hasn't overtly said it on Shane Coplin. Because he, Coplin later becomes, even before he creates Polymarket, obsessed with the idea of Napster izing an industry. And becomes very focused from at least 2018 on on Napsterizing finance and has claimed that Poly Market is an effort to do that. And so basically, you know, he had, he's in all these profiles that have been written about him since Polymarket has like exploded in, in popularity and use, not a single of them mention his company before Polymarket thought was really weird because they're basically treating it as he was a nobody and was broke and then, but was into crypto. And then during COVID he was like, oh, we need a way to predict stuff. When all the, because of all this uncertainty in Covid and then built this company in his bathroom. And then somehow three months later being this nobody college dropout attracts like $4 million in funding from all these, you know, big name bros. Like I don't know, that doesn't really happen. You know, Epstein was a college dropout that somehow got all this stuff thrown at him too. Like it's, you know, there's something else going on there. And so we found this other company that he had before then, which was first called Token bank and later became called Token Union. And lo and behold, it was a company deeply tied of course to the Ethereum ecosystem, which is important and maybe Mark can talk more about that later.
Kit Cabello
Sure.
Whitney Webb
But the Netanyahu connection we pointed out is that Token Union was specifically created as being extremely integrated with this other company called Bancor. And Bancor was co founded by Netanyahu's niece and nephew. And it was just probably the most important component and partner of this Token Union company Shane Coplin had. And then a couple of his advisors to this Token Union company were also kind of big name people with both ties. They were also simultaneously advisors to Bancorp and one of them in particular intimately involved in the Israeli venture capital scene, particularly as it relates to crypto and other high tech ventures. And he is also in other ways explicitly partnered with other VC firms created by veterans of Israeli intelligence. And that particular firm that he's partnered with, their stated goal is to basically take Unit 8200 projects that were previously done in house and then basically privatize them off. Which also coincidentally from 2012 on has been an admitted Israeli state policy that they're using a bunch of these unit 8200 veteran company as fronts actively for Israeli intelligence. So we found that pretty significant. And we're like, well you know, if he's obviously hiding this so extensively from his past and all these new profiles, like maybe this is why, but we don't really know and we don't really know why he, and I guess the media that has covered him is so committed to the story that he didn't have a real background before 2020, but obviously he had all these ties to like prominent VCs and to prominent crypto companies that are tied to the Prime Minister of Israel's family. And that probably explains how three months after he founded Polymarket and built it in his bathroom, that he was able to attract 4 million in funding from partners like Andreessen Horowitz and the Balaji guy who did the network state, and then all these prominent Coinbase veterans who at the same time had sort of Sunset. The competitor to polymarket that we talked about earlier, Augur, that was basically pretty much overtly created to be a resurrection of DARPA's policy analysis market. And actually in part two, though we found it after publishing part one, there's an interview that Kaplan gave in 2020, just after attracting this $4 million in investment in a three month old poly Market or wherever, where he basically says, when asked about DARPA's policy analysis market, he's like, yes, I'm super familiar. This is what they were trying to do. And also it's a key part of the passion behind why my team and
Misty Winston
I built Polymart Market.
Mark Goodwin
Right. The other thing that's interesting about this company pre, pre Poly Market, is not only, of course, the Netanyahu Israeli intelligence connections. Yes, I think that's, that's fair to say. But also it's the first time where we can see Shane being connected to the, the Teal neck.
Whitney Webb
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I should have brought that up. So the Netanyahu's niece, before creating Bancor, this company had been a partner at Teal's Founders Fund. And then Augur, which is we sort of frame as the predecessor to polymarket, had been created by a Peter Thiel fellow, Joey Krug. And then he had sort of been intimately involved with Vitalik Buterin, the Ethereum co founder who was also a Teal Fellow, to develop that. And then of course, Krug and Founders Fund come back and lead, I think the Seed A round for polymarket, sort of projecting it to the crazy heights it's seen since the 2024 US presidential election. And this is significant because Thiel is the main guy that has privatized all these other information awareness office projects out of darpa. He's the one that privatized TIA as Palantir. He's the money source that allows Facebook to become an analog to the shuttered DARPA project known as Lifelog. And here his money is again resurrecting the policy analysis market.
Kit Cabello
Right.
Mark Goodwin
And then we look at early, early PayPal, which for some reason, and everybody loves to talk about the PayPal mafia, but people don't like to talk about PayPal for some reason. And PayPal is one of the most important companies ever. They Dollarized the Internet. They were the, they made the, basically the de facto currency of the Internet, the US dollar, which is an incredibly huge deal. And no one ever talks about that. They talk about crypto, they talk about Bitcoin, but like the first guys that did this in a, in a way that scaled was PayPal. And interestingly, where did PayPal kind of come out of? It kind of came out of the Stanford Nexus in Silicon Valley, but specifically Stanford. And then where did they get their first money? Obviously Thiel ran his own hedge fund and was the foreign exchange trader of currencies and he put a million dollars into the company with Levchin when they founded it. But the first institutional investor was idealabs, which was this incubator in Southern California, this guy Lou Kerner, who's one of the main advisors to to Token Bank. Who's this guy that has all these connections to, you know, former IDF funds? Yeah, he was the CEO of TV at Idea Labs in the 90s, which was basically this, you know, early Internet streaming, you know, early online video and, and this Nexus, the Idea Labs Nexus, this is a huge part of the current story of digital finance. Its founder, Bill Gross was literally communicating with Epstein about starting, you know, what would be basically be a digital currency with a stable value. Whereas at that time the co founder of Tether, which is the biggest, you know, stablecoin in the world, basically the CBDC from the United States, again in the private sector, not the public sector. This is this ongoing thing. He worked for Bill Gross, Gross at a gaming fund. Epstein and Bill Gross are talking, you know, hey, how do we, how do we flip this bitcoin thing on its head and make this dollarized and, and they come up with this plan in emails that you can read at the DOJ's website. So this, this Nexus, that same guy gave the first investment into PayPal. And the co founder of Idea Labs is this guy, Bill Elkus, and he was a trustee of the J. Epstein foundation in the 90s, like a longtime multi decade friend of Epstein. And these guys are the ones putting all the money into the early crypto community. So the Teal Fellowship is extremely important. Teal would not become what Teal became without idealab sponsoring them, giving them a bunch of money and incubating.
Whitney Webb
And if I can interrupt for a second, it's also important to point out, and you can expand on this as well, is that when PayPal was founded, before ID labs coming in, they were collaborating, per Max Levchin, with every intelligence agency that would talk to them.
Mark Goodwin
Basically, yeah. So there's, there's a pretty famous, it's kind of infamous clip of Max Levchin, the cryptographer and co founder of PayPal, talking to Charlie Rose and I think like 2006, something like that, in that era. And he's like, when we were developing the anti fraud algorithms at PayPal, I collaborated with every three and four letter agency. They were some of the most fruitful agencies or business partnerships I ever had. And he talks about how actually when I first kind of graduated from the University of Illinois as a computer science major, I wanted to use cryptography to help the nation. I had come in as basically a refugee from the fall of the ussr. I came to America and I went and I applied to the NSA and was like, I want to use cryptography to help America. And the NSA basically was like, listen, you'll never be able to commercialize any of your ideas and any of your research. If you work with us in the public sector, you'll never make a dime. What you really want to do is go to the private sector. So what happens? Levchin flies to Palo Alto, crashes at the first, eventually the first PayPal board member's couch, Scott Bannister, who happened to be a VP at Idea Labs at the time, he crashes on his couch. It happens to be in the same week, the day that Digicash, which is at this point was the biggest attempt at doing Digital Cash, founded by David Chaum, that gets shuttered. You know, let's say it gets shuttered on a Tuesday. There's a big party at Stanford. They cut up all the assets, intellectual property, dissolved the company, which was the largest online digital payments company. And then two days later, Levchin has breakfast with Peter Thiel and comes up with an idea of making, you know, cryptographic money with PayPal.
Whitney Webb
At their first meeting, at their first
Mark Goodwin
meeting, two days after Digi Crash shutters, the party's on Stanford grounds. He's living on Stanford grounds. He goes and has breakfast with Teal on Stanford grounds. They start PayPal. That's kind of the first iteration of this Napsterization model where you have Napster, you know, digicash. They disrupt the payment space, inventing all this stuff. But there's too much litigation and legislation and it doesn't scale properly and there's a lot of issues with it. So, hey, let's spin off and let's create this new company that will basically slide into this market that no one's dominated yet and create a monopoly. We're totally in the private sector, but we're but we're talking to all the public sector, all the intelligence agencies and then they, they somehow managed to create digital dollars. You know, it's just, it's quite a coincidence. And this model, the Napsterization model, you know, like Sean Fanning and Sean Parker, you know, who created Napster. Sean Parker, you know, kind of has a similar story where he got, you know, he got in a lot of trouble when he was 15 and 16 years old for hacking a Fortune 500 company and some government websites. And the FBI raided his house, much like they raided Shane Copeland's house and basically gave him community service. And as he admits, the CIA attempted to recruit him him because you know, showing that you can hack into Fortune 500 companies and government websites is a pretty good, you know, recruitment tool for the CIA. And where does he go instead of going to the CIA? He goes and works for Mark Pincus in DC at Freeloader and he goes and works for UNET also in dc. Mark Pincus becomes the co founder of Zynga, which is one of the main reasons why Facebook explodes into the juggernaut. It does, you know that, you know Farmville, you remember all those games, that was Pincus ago, that was Pinkus. And then UNET is basically a bunch of former DARPA officials who took all of the IP and stuff they created in making commercial Internet and applied it to the public sector, or rather to the private sector. And they took all of this DARPA technology and turned it into basically the first successful Internet service provider. So this community, this model, these guys, they have the same origin stories. It's the same Nexus, it's the same money that's supporting all these guys. It's the same story and of this disruptive company coming in and messing up everything but then folding for some reason because of, you know, the law wasn't ready yet or it didn't, they intentionally shut or they intentionally shuttered it and then they recreate it with a pay model like Napster getting shut down and then becoming Spotify with Sean Parker. Sean Parker is one of the main advisors and main investors and wow, turns out out he turned it into a multi billion dollar company. This, this thing that they created in their bedroom, you know, so yeah,
Misty Winston
it's the same cast of characters and it's the same, it's the same playbook, it's the same MO over and over and over again. I mean, listen, it's effective. I, I guess good for them for figuring it out.
Whitney Webb
But it does work for them. It does.
Misty Winston
Which is wild to me, though, because we have seen it happen so many times, you would think that people would start to question, like, hey, wait a minute, another plucky young guy in his bathroom or in his g who broke, but suddenly has all this access to millions of dollars to start this thing that used to be a government run program. But I mean, it's just, it's kind of crazy. It's fascinating to me on many levels for multiple things that they do that just work. I mean, for example, we mentioned briefly Trump and his new China Gate. I mean, we just did this, we just did the same thing and we're going to do it again. I mean, it's no different than when, I think it was in Iraq, they were saying that they were giving their soldiers. What's the erectile dysfunction medication? What is it called? I'm blanking.
Whitney Webb
Viagra.
Misty Winston
Viagra, thank you, thank you. And then they, they regurgitated that exact same propaganda in for Ukraine, for Russia. And I'm like, right, we need better writers. You guys have no, there's not an ounce of creativity.
Whitney Webb
Okay. I'm personally waiting for the story of, you know, Iran throwing babies out of incubators and, you know, and I'm sure that will happen eventually. I mean, yeah, I mean, they have a really tired propaganda playbook, but it, like, I guess it works still mainly because of how extensively they're able to manipulate the media environment and how a lot of people have been sort of deluded into thinking that the government doesn't manipulate independent or alternative media and that, you know, a lot of the podcast, including like, you know, the one run by Stephen Miller's wife or somehow like independent and fair and not like government propaganda ops. I don't know.
Misty Winston
Yeah, then there's a lot of those. All the big names, really. I mean, it's just. And again, it's just, it's such an effective thing and it's, it's. That whole thing is fascinating to me because it's usually somebody who was very mainstream, who's then booted from mainstream, who then re. Like envisions themselves as like this plucky outsider who's gonna fight back against dude.
Whitney Webb
I like, that was perfected a few years ago by these guys that would get canceled and then go on Rogan and then just explode. And it was like a, the cancellation pipeline to Internet fame.
Misty Winston
I mean, there's several people who use it as like Weinsteins.
Whitney Webb
I mean, yeah, all those guys.
Misty Winston
Yeah, they'll use it as their tagline, like, I'm the most censored podcaster on blah blah blah.
Mark Goodwin
And I'm like, okay, you have millions of followers.
Misty Winston
What do you mean?
Mark Goodwin
Yeah, yeah, it's your banking stuff works great. Like you're still bank.
Kit Cabello
What do you mean?
Misty Winston
Yes, all of his. Okay, so I did want to, I wanted to ask something because we, we talked about earlier how they're using this model as a way to kind of silent silence and control dissent, crack down on dissent, all of that stuff. But I'm wondering if there's also another aspect of this and this is nothing new. This is something, a tale as old as time that like the management of narrow narratives because I feel like they are very effective at. I mean, and we see it on. I mean there's a montage I saw earlier when I was doing research for this where they were showing different mainstream news people saying, well, the predictive markets say, the predictive markets say. And I feel like that repetition of the market say, the markets say, that seeps into a consciousness and then you start to. You can manufacture consent through that sort of a thing. You can totally implant narratives. You can manage narratives, you can change narratives. All of that stuff. I feel like that is kind of an underground, at least for me. Like when I saw that montage, I was like, oh yeah, okay. Yes, that's exactly what they're doing.
Whitney Webb
Well, good on you, Misty. So, yeah, I don't know if we really talked about it yet, but the article that we're talking about right now is actually part one of a two part series. So what you just touched on is something that we were planning exploring in part two, which is the idea of how since these markets are now known for insider trading and that even by their, you know, the people that developed them in a sense, like Robin Hansen, described insider trading as a feature, not a bug that it has it also the way it's being used now is giving these poly market unprecedented ability to manipulate reality.
Misty Winston
Yeah.
Whitney Webb
And manage media narratives and basically seed the idea that something will happen or like this is the outcome because the market says so. Even though they've essentially said that, you know, these markets can be manipulated. And you know, if, if you've been paying attention, like a lot of the people in power are notorious for manipul manipulating markets. Right. And Wall street executives go, you know, get a slap on the wrist from the regulatory bodies of the US all the time for manipulating important markets and important market benchmarks. So, you know, that's all important to include. But the other thing I'll bring up here because I don't want to give up too much about. What we're going to discuss in part two before we have it is that according to Coplin, his whole goal goal is really to have Polymarket, among other things, be the future of news. And this is part of their reasoning behind their partnership with X, formerly Twitter, which is probably why our article made Nicota Beer very mad. Because they want polymarket and it's, you know, market outcomes and whatever to basically be treated as news stories. And at the same time, they've partnered with X. Of course, they partnered with Dow Jones, the parent company of the Wall street, with Substack, with tons of, you know, media platforms of extreme significance.
Mark Goodwin
And they got also billions of dollars from the, the ice, the, the giant exchange in New York.
Whitney Webb
Yeah, yeah.
Mark Goodwin
So.
Whitney Webb
And their Palantir, the New York Stock Exchange. Oh, yeah. Well, the Palantir being partnered with them is just an example of what I talked about earlier, about how Total Information Awareness and all the other programs at the Information Awareness office were always meant to interface. And so, of course, course, the modern iteration of Total Information Awareness is partnered with the modern iteration of the policy analysis market.
Misty Winston
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I feel like this is again, Taylor's oldest time, but there has been a significant shift away from mainstream media. They do have a more difficult time in, like, the Internet social media age of controlling narratives. We've seen that with Palestine and Israel. I mean, prior to October 7th, they were very, very. It was easy for them to just tell CNN what to say about whatever was happening in Gaza and CNN would say it, and most people were none the wiser. And now we have people who are actively on the ground in real time reporting things that are happening. And I think that they've, they've known that this is a problem for a long time. They've seen the shift away from mainstream press. I think that as we talked about with the independent podcasters, that has been a very concentrated effort of shifting people into those positions as they're losing the support in the mainstream press, because then they can just kind of move things around and this feels like just a really effective offshoot of that strategy where they can use these markets. And I mean, just, if you repeat it enough times, people will just start to believe it. And then subconsciously they just accept that, oh, yeah, we're going to attack Iran or we're going to whatever, whatever. And it just becomes like this accepted reality when in fact it was just a manufactured one. So, I mean, that's, to me, I feel like it's just a really terrifying aspect. I mean with everything else going on, the AI and all of the other stuff where we don't even know what's real anymore.
Misha
More.
Misty Winston
This is the point. Yeah. Yes.
Whitney Webb
Eric Schmidt of Google and Henry Kissinger wrote a book saying this is what AI will do like five or six years ago.
Mark Goodwin
Yeah.
Misty Winston
And it's again been a very effective.
Whitney Webb
And they're, they're, what they were saying about it is like once you can't tell what's real and what's not, you'll need a trusted AI to help sort through the noise for you.
Misty Winston
Yeah.
Whitney Webb
Obviously an AI that they control. Great.
Mark Goodwin
And that also this trust, right, this technological trust is a huge part of what the kind of the lie that is the poly market play right now of this idea that, well, markets can't be wrong. Right. Like there's an inherent truth to markets. There's an element of that that is true. Right. Like the price is the price. That's true. Right. I mean you cannot argue with the price of like oil. Right. I mean it just. That is the price, the price of gold or whatever. Of course, course that, that is factually correct and that is because of market participants, actions, buyers and sellers. Yes, that is true. But that doesn't mean that it's like an accurate fair price that is based on, you know, normal conditions of a market. You can have a huge buyer or a huge short seller or someone manipulating literally the exchange like display of the price. You know, like who is the, who is the trusted party that displays this, the ticker price of your stock or of your commodity. And, and poly market is, is playing that same role as like the oracle of how do these bets pay out. And there's been a bunch of issues with this where we've seen stuff like, you know, that bets pay out, that, you know, there's been big lawsuits and people that lost a bunch of money because they were correct. But the terms of the bet weren't actually held in, in, in the finalization and the payouts. And you know, there's a bunch of different iterations and examples of that and you can go look them up. But basically the, the, the technological issue is that, you know, all of these things are, are, you know, they're, they're based on cryptocurrency smart contracts. Right. And that, that sounds really cool. Right? Smart contracts. That sounds like these are really complicated cool, but they're actually very dumb. They're really stupid pieces of programming that need and necessitate if you're, if you're betting on, you know, will Argentina win the World Cup? You need to have some trusted source be able to input into that smart contract. Yes, Argentina won the World cup. Pay out everybody that bet. Yes, but who is that source? Who is the person that gets to say Argentina won? Is it espn? Is it cnn? Is it, you know, so polymarket is working with all of these media companies to build up this idea that this is a decentralized truth and that the Oracle that gets to decide who wins or loses is somehow decentralized. But it's not. They control the payouts. At the end of the day, these things, this idea of solving the Oracle problem, it is a computer science problem problem that has plagued Internet based consensus for a long time and it has not been solved. And they found ways to obfuscate the centralization and the control, but it is still there.
Whitney Webb
If you ever want to see Shane Coplin be extremely uncomfortable in interviews, just look for any time he's asked about how polymarket deals with the Oracle problem.
Kit Cabello
Right.
Mark Goodwin
And so, and so this concept of the Oracle problem, how do you determine the winner or loser of an online bet? You know, this was something that was supposedly was solved by polymarket's predecessor, which we haven't talked about too much today, which is ovaries blogger. And there was this guy, Joey Krug who was another whiz kid. He was, he was mining Bitcoin at 15 years old in his room. And you know, he, he comes up with this idea of hey, let's, let's make prediction markets using cryptocurrency. Because the issue with gambling and prediction markets as they had been previously is that they were still reliant on rail payment rails like credit card companies or bank wire that were still within the jurisdiction of the United States. And if you're doing some illegal offshore gambling site you're funding, you know, you have this, this really big attack vector and that is your, your, your funding payment Rails. And so credit card companies, banks, you know, they weren't participating in, in offline gambling because they didn't want their, you know, shuttered by the government. So they were able to close these offshore gambling accounts and previous iterations of prediction markets by attacking the choke market point which is payments. These guys all came together the, the in in our argument. It's the PayPal nexus, the teal Nexus that created digital currency. Whether it was just PayPal or the modern iterations today like an Ethereum, which is what all the stable coins run on like tether and USDC and what poly market runs on it runs on a layer 2 of Ethereum. We don't need to get into the technical. It's boring, it will put you to sleep. But it, it runs on polygons on. And it's this layer two of Ethereum. But Ethereum was developed by Vitalik Buterin under Katil Fellowship. He was being paid by the Teal foundation or the Teal Fellowship to develop this more expressive, complicated version than what you could do on Bitcoin. And when Joey Krug was developing Augur, he was actually really influenced by this paper called Truth Coin by this guy Paul Stork about predictive markets using Bitcoin. And Vitalik went to him and went, no, no, Joey, Joey, Joey, don't do it on Bitcoin. Come do it on Ethereum. Come hang out with us. We're going to do it on this thing. And then Teal gives Joey Krug a bunch of money and a Teal Fellowship.
Whitney Webb
My favorite part, they decide at Augur, Jerry Krug decides, how about we make our logo a one eyed pyramid, which is the same logo that Total Information Awareness had, which was like a one eyed pyramid beaming. The eye is beaming all over the earth. It's just like surveilling the whole planet.
Misty Winston
Planet, yeah. Again, just a stunning lack of creativity.
Whitney Webb
Logo also has the pyramid beaming all over everything. It's like, oh my God, guys.
Mark Goodwin
Right? But, but I mean there's absolutely something to be said about like, well, if they want predictive markets to exist because they want to do future Archy and a lot of these new form of governance that are downstream, you know, that's where all this philosophy was in the 90s and the 80s, but mostly the 90s, 90s about predictive markets was this idea of creating a new form of governance called future Archy that uses people betting on policies and values rather than voting on them. And that is the purer vote because there's skin in the game. And we'll talk about.
Misty Winston
Yeah, I mean we're actually out of time. I, we've, I mean again, I knew this was going to happen. We were going to run out of time and we weren't going to be able to get into everything. But I mean that is, I mean that is exactly where this is headed. And I feel like that's, I encourage everybody to go and it is, listen, it's a monster piece. It's very long. I had to read through it in bits and pieces. I took notes. Like I'm a big note writer, so but, and part two is going to be coming so it's going to be even further. And I would love to have you guys back on once that comes out so we can get into, you know, more of this. But I feel like this is something that, as I said, these predictive markets are so ubiquitous now. Like they're everywhere. There's all of these different branches popping up. They're. I mean they've just become, become part of society and I feel like they are 100 being used to. They've been weaponized from the jump to manipulate us, manipulate everything.
Whitney Webb
The point about the future thing, which is the bulk of part two, is that not only are they trying to manipulate media narratives like you brought up Misty, but the goal is to have this be a key part of a new system of governance replacing our current form of governance.
Misty Winston
Yeah.
Whitney Webb
Whereby whatever the poly market or like the predictive outcome is from one of these prediction markets will be used to decide policy and slew of elections.
Misty Winston
Yeah. And that's where. Yes. That's where we're headed. And I feel like that needs. I mean we, I mean we just have to be. I mean, I don't even know if it matters.
Mark Goodwin
I know we are running out of time here and I just wanted to throw in a quick. We actually just started a new podcast to just be able to sit down and talk about. It's like the idea is like the, the article is the meat and the potatoes and the sides and it's a whole big feast and it's a multi day feast and there's so much there. And then let's make this little thing where we sit down, down and we talk literally in the same room.
Whitney Webb
Because not a lot of people read.
Mark Goodwin
Not a lot of people don't have
Whitney Webb
time to read, but they have time to listen. So yes, we know people have been asking for us to do this for years. Now we're doing it. Yes, it's publicly available already, the first one for members of Unlimited Hangout. But the public release will be next week, including on YouTube, which I have generally avoided most of my career.
Mark Goodwin
Yeah.
Whitney Webb
But the. One of the reasons we're doing it is if you think you've been watching videos of me on YouTube, you most likely have. Not. Not. I've done maybe like four interviews all year and the rest is AI slop. And so I. We can't report impersonators of me or Unlimited Hangout without having a YouTube channel ourselves.
Mark Goodwin
Yeah. So it's. It's Unlimited Hangout podcast. So check it out and we'll see you Monday morning. And everybody can go.
Misty Winston
Whitney's on Twitter. Everybody can go follow her. Mark is also on Twitter. And then this is just the piece. And then, of course, go to Unlimited Hangout. Tons of great reporting there on this and other things. Obviously, Whitney's Epstein stuff has been incredible over the years. So everybody go check that out. Check out the podcast. It's coming. Guys, thank you so much. I appreciate you taking this much time. I apologize for taking this much time, but this article really required it, so.
Whitney Webb
No, it's all good. We definitely understand it's a lot.
Mark Goodwin
Thank you so much for having us.
Misty Winston
My brain hurt a little bit. Okay. All right, guys, thank you. I appreciate it.
Kit Cabello
Bye.
Whitney Webb
Thanks.
Misty Winston
Bye.
Misha
Thank you.
Misty Winston
All right, guys, that was Whitney and Mark. That was a lot. My brain does actually hurt a little bit. So I think Misha's gonna come in and do some super chats, perhaps.
Misha
Yes, I am. My brain hurts, too.
Misty Winston
Yeah, it's a lot.
Misha
Thank you. Thank you for that, Misty and Whitney and Mark. All right, Brad Gilbert is the first out the gate. Instead of Whitney, Rogan had Carrot Top. I was worried about Carrot Top. All the proof Kirp and Jimmy should need, that Rogans. All the proof Kirp and Jimmy should need that Rogan's. Oh, a useful idiot. Okay. I thought I was reading that right. Okay. Brad doesn't like Joe Rogan. Thank you, Brad. Aquarian Conspiracy. Thank you for that little donation. And the little fox, I think is the emoji gets Prime. I'm so glad the guy I voted for is doing the thing I didn't want the other guy to do. Vantage prime is back again. Everything's a scam, everything's a lie. Everything's hypocrisy. And so you don't comply. T Bone, have a great show. Misty, loving your guest lineup. And Kit is dope. Yeah, Kit is going to be on in just. Well, as soon as I'm done reading these. So here, let me keep reading.
Misty Winston
Thank you.
Misha
T Bone. Alejandro, I'm so glad to see you guys here today. The propaganda they repeated for this war that disgusted me to see people fell for was the weapons and killing of civilians. Always right before we go in works. Thank you, Alejandro. Hey, that's it. And we are going to Misty. You all set?
Misty Winston
Yep.
Misha
Throw back to Misty. All right.
Misty Winston
All right, guys, that was fantastic. Again, thanks to Whitney and Mark. That was a lot. Yeah, my brain really does hurt every time I read Whitney's stuff. So talking about it, it's also pretty intimidating. Okay, so we're gonna move on. Thank you again. For tuning into the Jimmy Dore Show, I'm your guest host, Misty Winston, and I'm very excited. I haven't seen my pal Kit in a long time, but my pack, Kit Cabell. My pal Kit Cabello from Hardlands Media is joining me. He's going to be my trusty little sidekick here for the rest of the show. So, Kit, it's good to see you, my friend. Hi, how are you?
Kit Cabello
I'm doing good. It's a heat wave, so I have to dress a little light. There's smog, so why not? Probably it's our corporate overlords trying to use bug repellent to get rid of us. And, hey, we're living in a neoliberal nightmare. But it's always good to be back on the Jimmy door. So shout out to me, Shout out to the whole team at Jimmy Dore, you know, for having me back on. People said, hey, kid, when are you gonna be back on? It's just timelines and match up. I'm working a couple different jobs here and, you know, it's just another day and the USA living the dream, which is the nightmare.
Misty Winston
Yeah, I mean, we got. You have to laugh sometimes because of course, that's all we have. Okay, so let's talk about Trump's speech, shall we? Because Trump gave a speech last night and it was funny. So we're going to pull this up here. So it says major breaking major. President Trump says 220 million US voter files were stolen by the People's Republic of China and says the intelligence was deliberately covered up by deep state actors within the U.S. government. And here's why that's funny. He's really doing China Gay guys. His very own Russia gate. We need new script writers. So unoriginal. I mean, this is insane. Kit, here we go again. I mean, the reason why my Twitter handle is Comrade Misty is Putin's buddy is because of Russia Gate. So now I'm wondering, how do you say comrade in Chinese and Mandarin? Like, how do I. Because do I need to change my name now? Because we're going to do China Gate. Like, what is happening here? Let's. I think I actually have the. I think I have the clip here of him. I do. Here, let's. Let's listen to what he had to say about China stealing all of our votes.
Kit Cabello
Over a period of years, Starting during the 2020 election cycle, the People's Republic of China carried out what is believed to be the largest compromise of election data in history, resulting in China's illicit acquisition of 220 million US voter files. Else that information includes names, addresses, phone numbers, political party preferences, and other sensitive data that would be needed to register to vote and engage in other nefarious activities, which is exactly what was happening. This data loss presents an unprecedented election security nightmare. The intelligence even shows that China signed a data data exploitation unit specifically to this new project. Compounding the travesty, the second set of documents we are releasing reveals that members of the Deep state, very, very famous group of people, many cases in our intelligence agency, work to actively suppress and downplay information about the extent of China's
Mark Goodwin
sinister election meddling, covering it up from
Kit Cabello
both the president and the American people like nobody thought was possible.
Misha
Mm.
Kit Cabello
Okay, well, there's a couple things to unpack here. Number one, when he. When that teleprompter was being brought up, did the new guy do any polymarket bets on the side? Number two, you know, when you had the wonderful Whitney Web on, I couldn't help but laugh because here's the thing. We are now in the UNO reverse card where Russiagate was a big thing and right wingers and libertarians were being targeted and wrongly censored, which I would. I was against. And now, oh, no, it's China Gate, and somehow it's a deep state. Deep state? Do they mean Mossad and the CIA being tag team champions again? Because when I think China Gate, I'm thinking, was it Israel who did it, or was it some other country? Because it's Russia, it's China, but yet APAC is the babysitter to all of Congress. I don't see any Russian or Chinese babysitters unless they were sponsored and sent in by apac. So I think it's very clear here that this is just making it up as he goes along to cause another panic.
Misty Winston
Well, and I also want to bring up a little something that obviously, if you know me, you know I'm about to bring this up. So in 2017, WikiLeaks revealed released Vault 7, which, if you're unfamiliar, Vault 7 was the largest CIA leak in history. And it. In those releases, there was a whole host of really terrifying stuff. The way that they're able to spy on you through your phone and your smart tv, and the way they're able to hack into your car, your automobile, all of that. That stuff. So just some really. If you haven't read it, you should, because it's crazy. But this. This is what I wanted to talk about in terms of China Gate, because WikiLeaks reveals marble framework used by the CIA to make hard the attribution. So here's what this means. WikiLeaks released the third batch of the CIA Vault 7 archive that sheds light on anti forensics tools used by the Intelligence Agency. The first tranche of CIA documents from Vault 7 was related to hacking tools and techniques. While the second batch included detailed info about hacking hacking tools specifically designed to hack smart TVs, Android handhelds, Apple iPhones, Macs and Windows systems. This third lot of documents dubbed marble includes the source code files for the anti forensic marble framework. It contains 676 source code files of a secret anti forensic marble framework. The experts from the CIA have developed the marble framework to make hard forensics activities on its malicious codes. The code used by the CIA was able to evade detection implementing various techniques. For example, it is able to detect if the code runs in virtual machine sandbox the marble platform. This is the, this is the crux. The marble platform makes hard the attribution of the attacks. The documents show how CIA can conduct a cyber attack in a way experts attributed to other countries including Russia, China, North Korea and Iran. So basically what they are saying is the CIA has the capability to enter into a computer and listen, I am not a computer expert, so if I sound like an idiot, it's because I am. I don't know the terminologies and all of it, that stuff. But as a layperson, what I understand this to mean is that the CIA has the capability of entering into a computer system and inserting code that is in Russian or Chinese or whatever, Farsi, whatever they want, whatever language that they want in order to make it appear as if it were a foreign actor. So I'm just putting that out there because we are now seeing these documents come out, we're seeing Trump talk about how there's all this evidence, there's all this evidence that China interfered. And I'm not saying, Kit, that China doesn't attempt to interfere with our elections. They absolutely do. As does every other major country on earth. Right?
Kit Cabello
Everyone does.
Misty Winston
Yes, everybody. Everybody. Nobody does it more than we do. No one on earth does it more than we do.
Kit Cabello
And well, we're the world heavyweight champions. We are the world heavyweight champions when it comes to this. And yes, one thing I want to add in here is that, look, I mean, I get it. Humans, we're, we're tribal, we go against, against each other. And we've been doing it since the dawn of time. We're, we're experts at killing ourselves. And no, no species will, will ever take that away. From us. But what I want everyone to take away from this is that when you are afraid of your neighbor, the other, and you have an institution that's been lying and getting us into these ridiculous wars over and over again and then defending the corporations that need a bailout, you know, one has to wonder, okay, are we really under attack? Because it wouldn't be the first time ever, not including America. America, a government weaponizing its intelligence services or perhaps an organization to undermine its own people, to hurt its own people. Because when you have a self aware society, they're going to want a government institution to represent them and fight for their best values. As soon as people start wisening up and realizing, hey, we're not being represented because APAC is taking control, lobby groups, big oil, the prison industrial complex are taking over and we're getting nothing, of course we're going to say, hey, why are you doing this to us? Is it, is it Russia that's denying us health care? Is it China that's making sure our streets have potholes? Is it a North Korea that's putting flat cameras all over our, over, all over our communities? And was it oh, Canada hiding the Epstein files? No, we're doing this to ourselves and our politicians are supposed to represent us. They're, they're the biggest backstabbers of them all. So it comes as no surprise that they would say like, oh well, China, China. Well gee, everyone said the same thing about Russia, Russia, Russia and that was one big nothing burger.
Misty Winston
Yeah, well, and that's what's so frustrating about this is because this will play with a certain segment of the population. Trump supporters, MAGA supporters are absolutely gonna, I mean we've already seen it today online. Everybody's hyperventilating about China and people are talking about we've got to revoke student visas and we've got to do this and we've got to do that. That and it is re. It's just really frustrating to me because as you just mentioned, China is not preventing us from having health care. China hasn't entered us into illegal wars. China isn't aiding and funding a genocide. China isn't destroying our education system. I mean, I live in Ohio. My, my roads are nothing but potholes. Meanwhile, their data centers popping up every which where. I mean, they want to tell us that we can't water our lawns and we need to shorten our showers, but we're going to build a gazillion data centers that are going to, you know, take all of our, our clean water. I Mean, it's absurd that anybody. We need to clean our own house first. You know what I'm saying? Like, we need to clean our own house first. And again, as I just mentioned, nobody does this stuff more than the United States government. I have here James Woolsey, who I think he's ex CIA director, and he's talking about the fact that the CIA interferes in elections. It's what we do.
Whitney Webb
You ever tried to meddle in other countries elections?
Kit Cabello
Oh, probably, probably. But it was for the good of the system in order to avoid the communists from taking over.
Misty Winston
For example, In Europe in 47, 48,
Kit Cabello
49, the Greeks and the Italians, we, we don't do that now though.
Misty Winston
We don't mess around other people's elections.
Kit Cabello
Yeah, yes we do.
Misty Winston
Only for a very good cause.
Misha
Can you do that?
Misty Winston
Do a Vine video on us? Former CIA Director Only for a very
Kit Cabello
good cause, of the interests of democracy.
Misty Winston
Thank you for being here. It's always interest of democracy, kid. That's all.
Kit Cabello
Well, I want to point out something here. You know, let's talk about democracy. We're going to go back to 1950. There was this country called Iran. No one's ever heard of it. And there was this national government there. And you know, I'm giving. This is the short nitty gritty of it. You know, they wanted to use the oil to uplift their people. Yes. No such thing as a perfect government. And you know, apparently British oil, American oil, CIA, British intelligence didn't like, like that. Got the shine. And then nothing bad happened. Oh, wait, the Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla took over. And that's why we're in the spot that we are now because we undermined a potential democracy in the Middle east or actually in Iran. And that, that didn't cause any problems at all. Happy ending. Sunshines and rainbows, right? Oh, wait, but then we did it over and over again in other countries too. Do we want to talk about Vietnam? Do you want to talk about Ho Chi Minh?
Misty Winston
I mean, we can talk about what's the, the. It's the Animaniacs gif, where they're, they go through all of the countries and they're like, these are the countries that the United States has interfered in their elections. And it's everybody. It's literally everybody. It's what we do. And we always use the same excuse that he just used. Oh, we got to stop the communists. Oh, we got to protect democracy. It's never about that. It's always about overthrowing democratically Elected leadership, installing puppet dictators, stealing resources and controlling populations. That's what it is. Has nothing to do with democracy, has nothing to do with, know the communists or whatever the. They want to sell you in order to make you afraid enough to be fine with it. That's absurd. That is absolutely absurd. It is crazy that anybody even believes that at this point. But they do. I mean, unfortunately people still fall for this stuff.
Kit Cabello
So I'd go on to something else here too, because maybe I have a new Twitter handle name for you. Because instead of Comrade Misty, Putin's buddy, you could be like Xi Jinping. You know me, like from the old dirty bastards.
Misty Winston
Seriously, I need to figure out how to, how do you say comrade Chinese? Anybody know I can change my handle today?
Kit Cabello
At one point I did.
Misty Winston
When we, when we did the Venezuela thing a few years ago, I did change it to Comrade Misty as Maduro's amiga for a little while, but then we instantly went back to blaming Russia for everything. So I just changed it back.
Kit Cabello
So we arrested, and then we arrested Maduro and whatever happened there, arrested, we kidnapped.
Misty Winston
Let's just be honest. So this is just, just to finish up this article here. It says today, March 31, 2017, WikiLeaks releases Vault 7 Marble. 676 codes source code files for the CIA's Secret Anti Forensic marble framework. Marbles used to hamper forensic investigators and antivirus companies from attributing viruses, trojans and hacking attacks to the CIA. Marble does this by hiding obfuscating text fragments used in CIA malware from visual inspection. This is the digital equivalent equivalent of a specialized CIA tool to place covers over the English language text on US produced weapon systems before giving them to insurgents secretly backed by the CIA. Again, it just basically this is just explaining that this is the tool that they use to go in and insert foreign languages to make it appear as if it was a foreign actor, when really it's just CIA messing with our own stuff. And I'm not saying that that's what happened here. I'm just saying that we, I just want you to know this is possible. WikiLeaks revealed this in 2017. And again, as I always try to do when I talk about Julian Assange and Vault 7, this was March of 2017. Julian Assange was already years into illegal and arbitrary detention in the Ecuadorian embassy in London. He was already public enemy number one of the world's largest empire. And he released the largest CIA leak in history. And I wish I had balls that big.
Kit Cabello
I'm just saying what happened to him was not only criminal, but it was a sign of just how corrupt our institutions were and how our media, at least until the very end when they said, oh, yeah, him being detained, it was kind of a bad, bad thing. Only at the end did they show. And I'm being generous here because I
Misty Winston
know Misty, after me badgering them for
Kit Cabello
years, Are you kidding me? You're the world heavyweight champion. That's why I call you one of the Dauntless few for actually speaking up for Julian Assange. You've been there since day one, dealing with everything, and now everyone's like, huh, that was. That was very bad at what happened.
Misty Winston
Maybe that was a bad thing. I don't know. Yeah, and.
Kit Cabello
And the thing is, it set a precedent for online censorship. It set a precedence for a lot of an independent media that have lost so much attention. I mean, it's the Jack Buddha censorship that we are dealing with now. And unfortunately, you know, a lot of people could. Will eat up the fact, oh, it's Russia attacking us. Oh, it's China attacking us.
Misty Winston
You know, us attacking us.
Kit Cabello
Did we also forget, like, this is the same US government now that's telling us that aliens, UFOs, and interdimensional beings are now real? So everyone's accommodating coming at us, but it all seems made up. All seems like it's one big distraction for the fact of our government's been hiding association with most prolific human trafficking in international history, one named Jeffrey Epstein and, oh, wait, his wonderful partner, Jelaine Maxwell, who's in Club Fed.
Misty Winston
Yeah, well, there you go, guys. China is hacking into our elections, all right? And speaking of Epstein, we're gonna move on. So, again, thank you so much for tuning in to the Jimmy Dore Show. I'm your guest guest host, Misty Winston. And that's my pal Kit. He's my plucky KY sidekick. Kick, Sidekick.
Kit Cabello
Kick, whatever.
Misty Winston
You guys know I can't talk. This is not new information. I talk too fast and my brain works faster than my mouth does, and that doesn't always work out for me. So I did want to talk about Epstein, though, because as everybody I'm sure is fully well aware, J.D. vance, Vice President of the United States, J.D. vance, couch connoisseur. Jeff Vance went on Joe Rogan, and he had a lot of interesting things to say. I think Jimmy talked about some of what he had to say, maybe about Iran, but I wanted to talk about the Epstein pieces that. That were in here because I. I think that this, as you just Mentioned we're. There's a lot of distractions going on and not a single person has been arrested on the Epstein files yet. And that is a very frustrating thing to me that there is a mountain of evidence supporting the existence of a global child sex trafficking ring that implicates people in extreme. At extreme level power and influence. And nobody is going to be arrested for that. And that is a very disturbing fact and it is just. It really depressing to me. So JD Vance went on Joe Rogan and here's a piece where they're talking about Epstein being Mossad or CIA. And I thought that this was super interesting, especially in contrast to what Carolyn Le. Leave it. Had to say Levitt. Leave it. I always say her name wrong. Let me make sure I'm getting the right clip. I have too many of them up. Is this one.
Kit Cabello
Oh, that's try to get me to meet him.
Misty Winston
Nope, wrong one. Sorry. Oh, I should have marked these better. My apologies.
Kit Cabello
It's all good. Just remember folks, think he was.
Misty Winston
Yeah.
Kit Cabello
Mossad or CIA or some other deep state, whether in America, Israel or another country or. Or both. You know, look, was he. He clearly had connections to the upper. The highest levels of American intelligence. He clearly had connections to the highest levels of Israeli intelligence.
Misty Winston
Duh.
Kit Cabello
Yeah. Of course the files showed that he knew everybody from Hollywood. Bigwigs, music producers, doctors, scientists, Wall street executives, big bankers, royalty, ministers. So sinisters. And wait, Democrat, Republican politicians, Bill Clinton, Donald Trump. Whoa, where that come from?
Misty Winston
Right, right. And again, I think as you were just saying, I highly like, please go watch the full thing for yourself. It's obviously very long. It's a Joe Rogan episode. But I don't want you to take these clips and think that I'm like trying to frame things a certain way. Go watch it for yourself. Inform yourself about what he actually had to say about all of this stuff. I think that that's important, obviously. But I just thought that that clip was super interesting because there you have JD Vance admitting that yes, this guy had ties to high level Israeli and American utel intelligence. Like that is. That's not even up for debate. It's not even something that anybody I think would even attempt. Attempt to contradict. But then you have. Here we go. It's just a hoax, guys.
Whitney Webb
If you look at how this Epstein story sort of evolved over the past
Misty Winston
week, it's classic Washington hoax.
Misha
Yes.
Misty Winston
You have Democrats on the oversight committee leaking redacted information to their favorite reporter at CNN who then pops the story with that redacted Information and does not reveal that the unredacted version is available.
Kit Cabello
Available.
Misty Winston
And the unredacted version proves that the so called victim in this email is a woman who is unfortunately deceased but prior to her death said on numerous occasions that President Trump never did anything wrong and was always incredibly friendly and hurt. Incredibly friendly guys.
Kit Cabello
Oh, buddies and pals all around. Here's the, here's the real breakdown. There have been so many women who reported that Jelaine Maxwell is far worse. Worse than Epstein. And that's saying much. There have been victims who have died deceased under mysterious circumstances when they gave no indication that they were would partake in self deletion. Got to be careful because of, because of guidelines, I guess. Yeah, be careful here and there. Unfortunately. Hey, we're a free society. And speaking of a free society, how is it that this is the same Jeffrey Epstein who had blackmail material on the richest people the in the world? One can make an argument that he probably never paid a bill because he had his people, his billionaire friends. Oh, looking like at Bill Gates for example, you know, maybe flip the bill for some of his stuff. I mean you, you don't just have mansions and huge nice New York apartment buildings or London. Look, that stuff isn't cheap folks. No, high rise places like that don't buy themselves. They don't knock on your door and say like, hey, I bought myself just for, for you. We don't live in that world. It'll be a great world, but we don't. And so in turn, who gave him the money? How to get this money? How's he able to fund this kind of lifestyle? It's because he has a know how and the connections with people in power. Look at New Mexico with the Zorro ranch.
Misty Winston
Yes.
Kit Cabello
What he was allowed to get away with over there, boy, I would have loved to have some flock cameras there to capture in real time what happened to the bodies or who was going on to that ranch.
Misty Winston
Yeah, well, and then again, I mean we just had Whitney Webb on that. Everybody go read Whitney's work on Jeffrey Epstein. One nation under black blackmail she goes into. And Epstein's history is weird. Like it's just crazy. He was given a teaching job. He doesn't, he's not a teacher. Like all of the things that he was allowed to do, get away with all of that stuff. I mean it's very obvious to me that he was an asset of definitely the United States and certainly Israel. I don't, I just don't think that's up for debate. But the idea that they're still trying to use the hoax line for any aspect of this story. And it's also very frustrating to me that she's. They're trying to essentially victim blame and say. And I've heard her do it. I think Vance also did it in the Rogan episode. I'm not sure if I pulled that clip or not, but he talks about how the redaction process was difficult because some of these women who were initially victims then became perpetrators and. But they're still victims like they are, even if they were brought in. Once you're brought into that situation, you are then fearful for your life and you kind of just have to do whatever you have to do to survive. And so were they also recruiting girls and all of that? Yes, for sure, sure. But they didn't have much choice. And the idea that they're trying to victim blame them and act as if they are now the bad guy, that we need to be in that, it just makes me very angry when they do that stuff.
Kit Cabello
I would actually go even further because look, with somebody like Epstein, you just don't know what he will do and.
Misty Winston
Right.
Kit Cabello
You know, it's, it's again, some of the women that partook in this or other people, perhaps it's a acting rational in an irrational situation to where you see this one person have influence over local, state, federal politicians, judges, police officers, sheriffs, and no one's touching him. You could get the menace of fear there. And I find it interesting that you have the same Trump administration now saying or indicating that there's hoaxes or that there's some fake news when I could just rewind back the clocks to 2019 when all this started. And a lot of concern. Conservative right wing channels were talking about this. Yes, people on the left were talking about too, but a lot of people made their bones, got all the figgy pudding, all the viewership, all the subscribers, all the donations, talking about the Epstein files. And as soon as Trump got re elected, they got the memo to shut up. And then of course, how can we remember or forget the infamous right wing influencers jumping up and down by. By with the binders on the White House. If I was there, I would be so, so embarrassed that people be jumping up and down. Because that's a somber moment. But no, because that was all for show.
Misty Winston
Yeah.
Kit Cabello
And now that Trump is in and saying that nothing happened until what happened in February of this year, all that came crashing down, all became revealed and that was just a drop in the bucket, you know, I I'm talking about the Epstein files. It wasn't too long ago where I even mentioned that Epstein had his own tribe of doctors. His own group of doctors.
Misty Winston
Yeah.
Kit Cabello
That would oversee what women that were in his services. I mean, he kept a lot of
Misty Winston
people, many forced abortions and reproductive health care, birth control, pap smears. All of those things, I'm sure were handled because you can't have them going to a regular doctor. They might tell somebody, you know what I'm saying? So.
Kit Cabello
Exactly.
Misty Winston
There's no question. He had a whole host of people working under him, with him, for him, beside him, all of that. And that's what's so frustrating when we. There's plenty of evidence to support this stuff. And not a single person other than Gilling Maxwell is in jail. Not a single person is in jail. And that is just. It blows my mind, you would think,
Kit Cabello
is she really in jail? She's at Club Fed, which is like for white collar criminals. And when you have those same white
Misty Winston
collar criminals, she's on vacation, basically saying,
Kit Cabello
hey, we don't want her here. You know that because. Because that's what they said. Like, you had all these white collar criminals saying, like, what are you bringing her here for? We don't want her. And they left her on in.
Misty Winston
Yeah. It's despicable. But okay, so there's another clip here that I wanted to talk about.
Whitney Webb
So.
Misty Winston
And it talks a little bit about what you were just mentioning with the binders. So the purpose of the per. Because that was all so very performative and stupid and embarrassing. And again, I will say it again. Anybody who was involved with those shenanigans. I. I don't. How. Why do you still have a platform not saying that they should be silenced or censored, but why is anybody watching them? They should have zero credibility left with the American public. That is. That was such a disgusting display that I can't even. Like, I don't even have words or I'm not even able to fully comprehend how just vile that was. So let's take a listen what he has to say about that performative display that they put on there.
Kit Cabello
Again, like, say this with all candor, like, we absolutely screwed up the comms of the Epstein files like we just did. But do I think the reason we screwed up the comms is because we were trying to hide something? No, I think the reason we screwed up the comms of the Epstein files is one. You know, Pam said. Pam Bondi said, the client list is on my desk.
Whitney Webb
Right.
Mark Goodwin
Well, see they had binders.
Kit Cabello
They were sitting in front. But those binders were largely documents that had already been released.
Misty Winston
Right.
Kit Cabello
So here's. Let me try to define what was
Mark Goodwin
the purpose of that performative display of
Misty Winston
annoyed he just got.
Mark Goodwin
And she was saying, there's tens of thousands of hours of film.
Kit Cabello
I don't know what the purpose of it was, but. But I know that the effect of it was to make people mistrust the entire effort. And what I think was happening. Look, I know Pam. I like Pam. I don't think there was anything malicious going on. I think Pam was trying to respond to the political moment. I think she overstated what we had and what we didn't have. And I think that she got roasted for it publicly by a lot of people, including me.
Misty Winston
Yeah, they're throwing Pam Bondi under the bus on that one.
Kit Cabello
The Dow. The dow is over 50. 50. Yes, but what about the victims? But the Dow, The Dow Jones. Now, first of all, people, I remember early on, Trump was applauding how she handled herself until, oh, he read the rooms like, okay, well, we need a sacrificial lamb. That was an absolute embarrassment and an insult to the victims that were standing right behind her. Because when Trump got elected, you know, he made promises to be transparent. He did talk about the Epstein files, but when it came pushed to shoot shove, he was forced by Representative Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna and Massey, I think, in my opinion, is the only person who's been punished. He lost his seat.
Misty Winston
Yeah.
Kit Cabello
I mean, I don't have to like him on all of his other policies, but of all the people, gee, that's the guy that loses his seat. That's the guy who loses the election.
Misty Winston
Kentucky, they spent what, $30 million Israel on APAC. Spent $30 million on seating him in Kentucky.
Kit Cabello
Kentucky, you got a guy from Chicago. We got corrupt politicians here. We got a history of questionable elections. But I got to tell you, Kentucky, you guys could have done better.
Misty Winston
Yeah. Yes. 100%, yes. And that whole display was genuinely disgusting. And the idea, I mean, I think it was a libs, a Tik Tok lady. I can't remember her name. Shia or whatever. It doesn't matter.
Misha
She.
Misty Winston
Whatever. But she, she was literally, like, bouncing around smiling, holding this binder up that is supposed to be filled with evidence of child sex abuse. And why are you smiling, ma'?
Whitney Webb
Am?
Misty Winston
Like, what are you. You doing? The absolute, just complete lack of awareness of the moment.
Kit Cabello
I, I have my own theory, and probably, you know, there's others that have maybe A more better explanation. But for those who reach the peak of influence, where you get millions of subscribers, millions of views, you lose your ability to understand human emotions and you're just only focused on the camera and the likes and the views and the yes, admiration from die hard followers. Because humans sadly are creatures of habit. So you asked early on like why people still follow them. It's because it's what keeps them comfortable and they're not going to think ahead when in fact what you want from an audience is to critically challenge you, give you constructive criticism and feedback. You don't want to be surrounded by Arping Seals. You want people to be.
Misty Winston
Some people do want to be surrounded
Kit Cabello
by yeah, but see, but see but yeah and see and see. Those people don't, don't have add anything to the conversation. What they want is to be seen, have the lights and camera on them. The whole goal of independent media is to get everyone who's watching this show right now and all independent media to be actively involved and to actually stand up and realize that the two party system was owned not only by people like Epstein, but others that are leading into these pointless wars. And just because Epstein is gone. Air quote. I, I have my suspicions.
Misty Winston
Right, but that's it.
Kit Cabello
I'm leaving it there because I love Jimmy and everything everybody else. And then you miss Maxwell in jail, but you're gonna look me in the eye and tell me that the Epstein network is gone. No, it's either being rebuilt or somebody or people.
Misty Winston
And he wasn't the only one. Like there were, there are more Epstein's out there. He was just one piece of that puzzle. I mean we saw like the Diddy stuff. Diddy was the Epstein of Hollywood.
Mark Goodwin
Right?
Misty Winston
Like there's, there's multiple, there's multiple layers to this and people are just assuming that because Epstein is gone that it's over and it's just not. And it's, it's going to keep continuing. So here's where he kind of admits that yes, they did screw it up. Which yeah, no kidding. No Sherlock.
Kit Cabello
I want to say we mishandled the Epstein release.
Whitney Webb
Guilty.
Kit Cabello
We did mishandle, especially the communications of it. What do you think should have been done? I think that we should have just dropped everything at the very beginning. And like, obviously it takes a little time to review the stuff, to find the stuff, to redact things. We have victims and so forth, but we should just done it as quickly as possible.
Misty Winston
But some of the stuff that was
Mark Goodwin
redacted, some of the names that were redacted weren't victims.
Kit Cabello
So, yeah, I've looked into this and my understanding of this, having looked at a lot of this, but not all of it, is that it is sometimes hard to draw a distinction between victim and co conspirator. And let me highlight this in a very sort of obvious way. Ro Khanna, who's been to wanting one of the loudest voices on the Epstein file. Well, he became very loud on the Epstein files the minute Donald Trump became president, didn't seem to care about it during the Biden administration. He actually brought one of the Epstein victims, I think, to the State of the Union last year, or maybe it was the year before last. Well, like that victim, and I'm not accusing, I'm not saying she wasn't a victim. I don't know anything about her particular case. She was also listed as a co conspirator in some of these documents. Right. So there's an idea that some of the people who were engaged in the sex trafficking were also, you know, facilitating it as well.
Mark Goodwin
So they were incentivized to get more girls.
Kit Cabello
Yeah, but what I. But yes, that's right. But the idea is that it's hard to sort of. It's sometimes a little bit of a gray area between, you know, some of the people who were alleged victims were also alleged co conspirators. And so what DOJ tried to do was kind of make that judgment as best they could and release as much as possible.
Misty Winston
You know, they could have had WikiLeaks do it. They're pretty good at redactions. I'm just saying.
Kit Cabello
Yeah, no, and not to mention, you know, hey, at this point, drop it. Because we know just how sociopathic our rich overlords are. I mean, they're more than happy to spy in on us. Which again, These flat cameras, 90, 000 of them have been proven to be hackable. And at least one YouTuber, I covered this in March. Yeah, can you imagine? These are some Epstein or Epstein kind of douchebags, you know, looking at those cameras. Cameras looking at playgrounds, looking at parks and schools.
Misty Winston
We know that's happening.
Kit Cabello
Those are your kids. Everyone that's watching, we got a lot of people watching. So everyone in the chat, maybe they should send a shiver down the back of your neck or something like that. But think about it. Your family, your friends, your granddaughters, grandsons, sons, daughters, nephews, nieces can all be susceptible to this system. And no one in any position, authority stopped Epstein. They knew about him. And I'm not going to Believe that these rich, rich people, these billionaires who are all buddy, buddy with him are going to say, oh, well, we didn't know you were the top echelon of society. You're playing your game of thrones. You're telling me you're not keeping an eye on so and so over there or that person? You're not going to have your little assistants giving you updates, giving you notes, because that's how these rich people play games with each other. They blackmail each other. They know each other. And Epstein was a master class tactician when it came down to that. And I hate even saying that. I'm vomiting in my brain even giving him that praise, but he had everything on everyone, and no one lifted a finger. And now I'm supposed to believe that, what, you just can't unleash other files about Epstein? This is the biggest story ever, and right now we're being distracted by wars and other bs, aliens and all this other crap, when in fact, we need full transparency because our republic has. Has a sick virus in it, and the people that are associated with. With Epstein and all of his ilk need to be exposed and held accountable. But wait, I forget. We're in America. So they're going to get away with it.
Misty Winston
Yeah, they are going to get away with it. And that's, again, that's what it's so disturbing to me as a mother, to know that the people who are in positions of power and authority are absolute sick and twisted psychopaths, like just the most vile and repugnant human beings on Earth. And even if you weren't directly involved in the things that Jeffrey Epstein was doing, you knew. You knew and you did nothing. You said nothing. It's just beyond my. Listen, we're going to play a clip right now. Joe Rogan was able to suss this stuff out. Joe Rogan was able to figure out that Jeffrey Epstein was a creep. That's weird. That Joe Rogan, podcaster meathead. Like, he was able to figure it out, but the people in positions of power and authority who went to fancy colleges and hold fancy degrees and have these big titles you couldn't figure out, figure it out. So here we go. Yeah.
Kit Cabello
When 2017.
Whitney Webb
See that?
Kit Cabello
That's crazy to me because at that point, he'd already gone down for at least one, like, sex abuse thing.
Mark Goodwin
That was my position. I'll show you the emails.
Misty Winston
Okay.
Mark Goodwin
It's kind of. They're kind of funny. I actually read them on stage.
Kit Cabello
You want to say, okay, fine, people could find it.
Mark Goodwin
Yeah, I don't want to have the guy's already ruined.
Whitney Webb
Sure.
Kit Cabello
But, but it's, I Googled it and
Mark Goodwin
I'm, I'm like, what the are you talking about?
Misty Winston
Yeah, just a simple little Google search. That's all it took for Joe Rogan to figure out that Jeffrey Epstein is a creep.
Kit Cabello
Yeah. And, and the thing is, what's, what's interesting is how Epstein was trying to, or at least somebody was trying to at least allegedly get him on Rogan's show or something, and Rogan wouldn't play ball, which is fantastic.
Misty Winston
He just wanted to hook them up. Like there was a guest on his show, right. He, that he was like, hey, let me hook you up with this guy, Jeffrey Epstein. He's like a financier. He's. He does all this stuff. Whatever, whatever. And Joe Rogan, like, took the, like did his due diligence and was like, let me Google this guy. And was like, oh, yeah, no, yeah, no, thank you.
Kit Cabello
Exactly. And that's, that's what comes with the job. Because, you know, and I, I do find Vance's, I guess how he's presenting himself. He looks annoyed because he thought he was going to a safe place. Now, you know, Rogan, I, I questioned some of his things, especially when he was recently in Trump's White House for like, I forget, some sort of medicine for those dealing with psychosis or something of that issue. I, I have to look back in it. But it's like, Rogan, you're being used by this administration. You need to start thinking ahead because these guys are not going to give you a clear answer. Trump had to have his arm twisted to have that whole dump of Epstein files be released in February of this year. He had to have his arm twisted. He was forced to it. If Trump had a choice, he probably never would have released it. And dare I say it, controversial stuff. Statement here. Let's say if Biden or Kamala won, they would not be talking about this either. The only reason why we got Democrats talking about is because it's a good political chip for them to use for them.
Misty Winston
I think Thomas Massie would have talked about it regardless. Yes, he's been pretty consistent. He's really the only one who's been consistent. But in that clip earlier where JD Vance threw some shade at Rokhanna and said that he was pretty quiet during Biden. That's valid criticism. That is true. Democrats didn't say anything about, about this during the Biden administration. So that's just another one of those lines of hypocrisy where suddenly you care about something because the guy in control is no longer on your team. And it's just really repugnant that anybody would ignore child sex abuse on a global scale like this. It's beyond my ability to comprehend, but yeah, that's. I mean, that is valid criticism of Roana. And I think Thomas Massie is really, to my knowledge, the only person who has held elected office throughout the course. Course of this, all these shenanigans, who has been consistent on this issue. And listen, I have my issues with Thomas Massie, don't get me wrong. But on this, he has been loud and consistent. And I mean, credit where it's due, I guess.
Kit Cabello
And, and more importantly too, when you talk about consistency, will these same politicians, now that Massey will be gone, will they give the same fire and fury talking about the Epstein files? Because this is our big scandal, you know, we are the Roman Empire of the modern era. We are, are the top dog. At least until, until like all empires, they die violently because it's a violent phenomenon. But if we as citizens want to show the world like, hey, we're not for this, then we need to be self aware. When you vote Democrat, when you vote Republican, you're voting for two parties that had people in it that turned a blind eye to Epstein's actions. And you think your vote matters? You think that person sitting in D.C. is going to think about you? Look, just New Mexico, Zoe Ranch.
Misty Winston
Yeah.
Kit Cabello
Every echelon of power and authority and legal representation did nothing to stop Epstein and the activities on the Zorro Ranch. You're gonna tell me that all that was like, oh, they just didn't know. Oh, they couldn't do. Their hands were tied. See, Hollywood likes to lie to us. TV shows like to lie to us. That, oh, something bad, people step up. No, that's not the case. The game is I got money, you look the other way. I got money. And I will cause. Cause you problems. I got a super lawyer and I will drag you and drag you and bury you. Which is why again, I'm, I'm always going to say this. You know, if we want real change, we got to start stepping up our own actions and not rely on DC Massey. Yes, A rarity. A rarity. If you expect DC to represent you and fight for you, you got another thing coming. If you think the story has a happy ending, you're not paying attention.
Misty Winston
That's a level of naivete that I just, I. I don't even understand at all the idea that anybody in Washington D.C. gives at all. Gives at all. Not at all about you. You're not even a consideration.
Kit Cabello
They care about their jobs. So a politician like aoc, two years down the road, four years down the road, eight years down, they care about their jobs?
Misty Winston
Well, yeah, it's whatever's politically advantageous to them at the time, it has nothing to do with you. You do not matter. They will pander to you. But they, their actions are never going to be based on what you want, what you need, what is most important to you. It is always going to be based on how can they keep their job, how can they please their donors. That is it. They, they're not in the business of helping people or serving people. That's not what they do. It's not at all what they do. Okay, let's move on because now we're all terrorists. Kit. Okay, so again, thank you for tuning in to the Jimmy Dore Show. I'm your guest host for today, Misty Winston. That's Kit Cabello, he's from Hardlands Media. He is joining me today as my plucky sidekick. I'm so happy to have him here. So listen, Kit, did you know that we're all terrorists on the left? Everybody on the left is just a terrorist. So Stephen Miller, this guy is like a Bond villain. He is like a quintessential. I'm not sure if there's a more evil guy. I mean, I don't know, there's some pretty evil people, but he just like his presentation is even evil. It's fascinating. So Stephen Miller says, quote, here in the United States, we have taken the necessary and essential action formally recognizing left wing violence as a form of political terrorism that is a direct threat to our national security and the survival of our Repub and form of government. So don't believe me here. I'm going to let you hear it from his own mouth.
Kit Cabello
States we have taken the necessary and
Mark Goodwin
essential action of formally recognizing left wing violence as a form of political terrorism that is a direct threat to our
Kit Cabello
national security and the survival of our republican form of government.
Mark Goodwin
President Trump issued a directive.
Kit Cabello
In our parlance, it's called a National
Mark Goodwin
Security presidential memorandum, or NSPM. NSPM 7 to be exact. That directs for the first time in
Kit Cabello
American history, all of our law enforcement
Mark Goodwin
and intelligence agencies to work together to disrupt, identify, defund, debank, arrest and prosecute these political terrorists that are operating in our country. It's very important to understand that left wing political terrorism seeks as its ultimate end the overthrow of our system and
Kit Cabello
form of Government, and we've seen this has taken place many times in many places throughout the years, and Secretary Rubio has provided you many examples.
Mark Goodwin
Left wing terrorism always ends in bloodshed, misery and suffering.
Kit Cabello
It only can travel in one direction. There's no point at which the left
Mark Goodwin
wing terrorist is satisfied with his gains
Kit Cabello
and ceases progressing inevitably left to run its course, it always becomes a gulag. It always becomes the mass imprisonment of political enemies, the stripping of their rights
Mark Goodwin
and freedoms, inflicting, inflicting immense pain, humiliation,
Kit Cabello
suffering, in order to establish complete and total control, control through psychological and physical and actual terror.
Mark Goodwin
And we have to understand that that
Kit Cabello
is the scope and the extent of
Mark Goodwin
the threat that we face here. In the end.
Misty Winston
He just described himself, kid.
Kit Cabello
Exactly. That's what you're doing.
Misty Winston
Sasha says what?
Kit Cabello
Yeah, okay, There's a couple things to unpack here. First of all, let's talk. Talk about left wing violence, okay? Now there's violence everywhere. I get it, folks, but I think things are getting so hyper charged and being exploded and being taken out of context due to the fact of AI social media and people being stuck in the tribal mindset of hating each other. Okay, first of all, that's the job of politicians to make everyone hate each other because we got along. We'd have to hold them accountable and then they'd have to do their job, which is another anathema to them. Second, I have seen many of these protests here in Chicago. Okay? I want to talk about the labor day protest in 2025. This was before I started really coming in here in Chicago when they were doing the ICE raids. That was not a peak army in physically fit condition. Okay, Misty, if you and I went there, we probably swing on 30 people before they finally start obeying and getting on their knees listening to us, okay? It'd be the world's most one sided fistfight. They were not ready for any anything and they keep on protesting and dancing from Trump Tower. I want to talk about the glorified parade. Shout out my friend Nick Thompson, who came up with that phrase of the no kings protest, okay? Nick would call them glorified parades was what they are. You have people in their pink pussy hats. That's not terrorism. That's just people trying to think that, oh, we, we resist Trump in one day and he'll step down. Anyone lame enough to show up would show up to that. All right? I wouldn't associate because that's what. Click, click, click, click. You've been caught in by the, by the double state two party system. Cameras also now talking about left wing terrorism. Are we talking about right wing terrorism? Because this seems like how the Biden Harris administration was going after right wing influencers, people who are libertarians, anybody else. Way back during the Biden Harris administration and I was against that, I didn't want to see people on the right getting censored and suppressed. I don't want to see that happen to libertarians. But yet now automatically, because when Biden was saying that, saying, oh yeah, there's, there's, there's Trump supporters and right wing violence, I'm thinking, oh my God, they're going to come after us all. Because as soon as I hear that once the Democrats come in troll, once Republicans come in troll that they are going to use that same template to use against each, against all of us. So one side will speak, then the other side will speak. But these will people who be approved, corporatized to speak. Anyone else that's an independent media in our sphere, we become public enemy number one. And anyone that eats up that slop from the politicians, imagine, imagine if that was Biden or Kamala giving you that diary information. There'd be a lot of libtards drinking that up. And now you got people on the Trump side, Republican side eating it up here too. But wake up to reality. That's going to be used against you too. And then you captured on your flat camera and be arrested too. Or we could be like Britain and be arrested for a Facebook post 10 years ago or 14 years ago. Yeah, because that's, that's a free society. Always be careful. Big brothers watching 1984, Fahrenheit 451. Brave new world. Those were warnings, not a manual.
Misty Winston
Yeah, and listen, they've been setting this up for a very long time. There, there has been a very. They're not stupid. They know that if they do these types of things overnight that people would, I mean obviously speak out against it. We would rail against it. We would be like, no, absolutely not, we're not doing this. But they have effectively, over the course of many, many years created an environment and in a political atmosphere where we don't trust each other, where we're very divided, where we hate our neighbor, where we're willing to excuse and justify terrible things happening to people that we don't agree with. And that's, they've been so effective in that. I mean we talked about it briefly with Whitney and Mark earlier where, you know, like the, the Black Lives Matter protesters, I mean the right was, couldn't have been happier when they started getting beaten up and all that stuff, and then vice versa. Black mat. The Black Lives Matter protesters couldn't have been happier when January 6th protesters were getting beaten up and brutalized, and they don't even recognize, they don't even have the ability to comprehend, apprehend, to. To step away from their, you know, their preconceived biases that this is exactly how they do it. They created a situation with Black Lives Matter where they make the right. Look, look at these people. They're out here burning down their cities, and, you know, suddenly magical pallets full of bricks show up in the streets and all of that stuff. And there's agitators and there's infiltrators and all of that. And the same exact thing happened on January 6th. This is exactly how they do it. They work you against each other, and they create an environment where you're willing to forego your principles because you want the other guy to get it. And that's just. It's so beyond my ability to comprehend that people can't see it at this point because it is so, like, just readily apparent that that is the game plan, and they're just.
Kit Cabello
No, no, no, you're right. And I. I hope I don't instigate the chat or anybody else getting upset about this, but when. When Charlie Kirk died, you know, I was devastated. I was doing a live stream, and I had one of my viewers.
Misty Winston
I had.
Kit Cabello
One of my viewers was Dr. Nick. Give me a heads up, like, hey, you know, I'm not joking here. Charlie Kirk just got shot. And I, I. Everyone's like, oh, crap, this is the worst thing that could happen, because I'm thinking, terrible. If he dies, the ramping up of censorship is going to happen, and then this is going to be weaponized to make one side hate the other. All right? And it's. It, yeah, it's been effective. It's been very effective. But I say to anyone that's on the right and left, if you're. You're just average, you're in on this. Think long and hard, okay? Think about this. This is the same playbook we've seen before, where you see one side saying, the left is the agitators, then once the right comes, then once the left comes to power or liberals come into power, you got, oh, yeah, the right are the agitators. The real agitators are the neoliberal centrists enjoying their brunch while the rest of us starve.
Misty Winston
Yeah.
Kit Cabello
These are the people that have led Us into form wars bankrupt our country. We're exposed to, let in our drinking water. We got other contaminants that we have to deal with. And yet somehow we're supposed to make it day in, day out, make ends meet. But then to keep us bitter, I have to hate my neighbor. I have to hate my family at Thanksgiving. That is not how it should work and function. And the job of independent media is to show, hey, these people in dc, these people who represent you, are they representing you? Because 99 of the time they're on the phone call listening to their donors, or they're getting market marching orders to have them hate each other. Because it's a script. When you see the Democrat, Republican politicians arguing, it's like something from ECW or wcw.
Misty Winston
It's a soap opera featuring psychopaths. That's what it is. It's all manufactured and ridiculous. It's. It's a show. It's always been a show. And you're so right, and I've been saying this for years, and I can't tell you how often I get trashed for saying this, but your neighbor is not your enemy. I promise you. The MAGA guy that lives down the road, if you're on the left, not your enemy. The lefty that lives down the road if you're MAGA not the enemy, I promise you, you're. We have common enemies, and they wear very expensive suits and sit in boardrooms and make decisions that impact your life. I can promise you that the people who live in your neighborhood are not your enemy. They are suffering the same oppression that you are. And they've just done a very good job of manipulating you and convincing you that you have to blame each other, rather than blaming the people in actual power who have actual power to impact your life. And that's what's so frustrating about this. And you bring up Charlie Kirk. I can't tell you how disappointing it was for me to watch people who had fought alongside me in the fight for Julian Assange's freedom cheering for the death of a man for saying words that they didn't like. Like he said words that they didn't like. And so they cheered his assassination. I blew my mind. These are people who I thought were like. Like allies, like people who actually got it, who were legit. I have really learned over the years that finding somebody who is genuinely free speech is like finding a unicorn. They're very few and far between.
Kit Cabello
Look, I believe in free speech because I have been a victim of censorship. I know firsthand about the Jack Buddhist censorship. It sucks. But you know, at the end of the day when you are being suppressed, you know, you got to look for people who do believe in it. And I remember getting started here, you know, especially with independent media. Media, you know, you had your eight. I guess the typical troll would be like someone from the right saying, oh, you're a communist, you're a communist, you're a communist. And then later on when the Biden Harris administration got in, then I'm talking about maga. And then I remember getting this one message from a Trump support. Hey, how come these liberals and communists hate you? Aren't you guys friends? And I'm like, nobody. No, they hate me too.
Misty Winston
Everybody hates me. All sides hate me.
Kit Cabello
Yeah.
Misty Winston
But I feel like that's how you know you're doing it, right? Because if everybody hates you, then that means you've just stayed consistent. You're not pandering to anybody. And I feel like that's when you know you're in a pretty good spot. So he. So this douche canoe, Stephen Miller mentioned Marco Rubio. I do want to play Marco Rubio's comments too because I think those are very telling. But also before I forget really quickly, Stephen Miller was saying there that we're gonna, you know, debank and blah, blah, blah, social credit system, anybody. If you go against the grain, they're going to just take away your ability to bank and they're going to take away your ability, ability to live in society. And I mean just. I'm just saying that's what we're moving towards.
Kit Cabello
I'm gonna say one thing. Look, what these politicians fail to realize is when you create an environment where nobody gives a single F and like they're not afraid anymore and they got nothing but hatred and they don't care, don't be surprised what a desperate person will do.
Misty Winston
Yeah.
Kit Cabello
All right. Because if there's no consequences and they know that, hey, well, it's all over for me now.
Misty Winston
Yeah.
Kit Cabello
What can I do to take a big old sloppy dump in your hat and have you put it on. Because that's what you'll create, an arm. You'll create a, a world of desperation. And these politicians, AI. I mean, as Mark Anthony once said, snows do melt and rivers do dry.
Misty Winston
Yep, true story. Okay, here's Marco Rubio just so you guys can hear what he had to say about this whole thing.
Kit Cabello
It's a new wave of this old evil here in the United States. The ship share of left wing terrorist
Whitney Webb
attacks and plots has risen to levels not seen in decades.
Kit Cabello
Oh, wow.
Whitney Webb
Germany.
Kit Cabello
Far left violence has jumped by more
Whitney Webb
than 40% in just the last year alone.
Kit Cabello
In Greece, more than 80% of radical
Whitney Webb
violence is now driven by far left and anarchist actors.
Kit Cabello
These, these are not abstract statistics.
Whitney Webb
Americans see what those numbers mean. An all out assault on our immigration officers.
Kit Cabello
Sniper attacks, explosives, armed ambushes.

Multiple assassination attempts on a sitting president and.
Whitney Webb
And the murder of the greatest conservative
Kit Cabello
activist of a generation, A man who happened also to be a husband and the father of two young children shot and killed while speaking to a crowd of students. This is a distinctive and unique evil. It has always been driven by a hatred above all else, a hatred for civilization itself. It is a revolt of the worst against the best. A revolt of the weak and the cowardly against the strong and the good. It is perpetrated by those who cannot build, who cannot create, who cannot achieve
Whitney Webb
great things and take their revenge upon
Kit Cabello
the world for their own inadequacy by seeking to destroy those who can.
Misty Winston
What a turd. Dude, he's such a. Listen, a lot of that stuff he just made up like first of all, who defines what is left wing violence? I want to know what the definition of that is. What does it take to qualify for that? And why do these particular occasions that he is claiming that have happened in Greece and Egypt and wherever else he mentioned how. I want to see, I want to see. I want to know what those statistics actually are. I want to know what those qualifications are. I want to know what the definition is. He's just making up to scare people. He's fear mongering so that people will be on board with what they intend to do, which is to. I mean, Stephen Miller talked about the gulag. That's exactly what he wants to do. He wants to set up a gulag for left wing people, people that do he. That do not agree with him. Oh, you have different opinions than I do. Straight to the gulag. That's he. The, the hypocrisy is insane. It's nuts.
Kit Cabello
I'd also add on here too. You know, you have talk about trust Trump's assassination. Well, as a former Marine, I have to say the people who did the site security around that area were not guarding the rooftops or any high elevated positions.
Misty Winston
Right?
Kit Cabello
I mean, how'd you turn a blind eye to that for the site security For Charlie Kirk, again, I find the actions of not having people on the rooftops of the buildings to ensure no one had easy access there because he's a high profile person. And yes, he's probably received more than a hand handful of threats to his life. But the fact that no one even factored that in there should be drawn in there. So look, and again I say this is someone on the left. Charlie Kirk dying to me is a very, very bad freaking thing. And I wish it never happened because there's an after effect. We have politicians now using him as a scapegoat. Be like, well, it's left wing terrorism now that we got to worry about. Well but in fact, gee, you know what's real terrorism, Apollo? These politicians protecting the ghost air quote unquote of one Epstein, of one Jeffrey Epstein, not holding anyone who was rich and powerful who partook in that perversive actions that he helped facilitate, being held accountable to the full extent of the law that needs to be addressed. That's real terrorism. When our government doesn't do anything to arrest people who committed crimes.
Misty Winston
Yes. And let's not pretend that our government is above creating false flag situations in order to drive their agenda. And I'm not saying that any of these that he mentioned are false flags. Don't come for me. I don't know enough to. And we never will know enough. I think it's likely that at least one or two of these things that has happened, whether it's the transgender shooters or whatever, whatever. There's an element of false flaggery going on there. I don't think there's any question about it. And, but let's not pretend like they're not like they're somehow above that and that they're not doing that. They absolutely are. They're pushing an agenda and they're going to do it in any manner that they see fit and necessary. So yes, that is and I just wanted to point out too, our good pal Caitlin Johnstone posted this and she's correct. They're building a new cointelpro and it will not be dismantled when there's a Democrat in the White House. And she is correct, that is exactly what's happening here and it's going to come for everybody. So if you're somebody on the right who is right now, and I've seen so many people in the comments of these posts, like, yes, you need to arrest people. Like this is all talk. You need, we want to see action. It's coming for you too. I just hope that you Realize that you can cheer it on now while it's happening to people you don't agree with. But when I. It comes back for you, I'm gonna say, I told you so. If I'm not already in a gulag. But it's coming for you too. It is absolutely coming for you too.
Kit Cabello
Here's. Here's what I'm gonna say. Like, damn, they got you too.
Misty Winston
Who the thunk it, man? Listen, I hope we end up in the same re education camp kit. Hopefully they'll put us in the same one so we can at least hang.
Kit Cabello
Yeah. No, no, it's gonna be great. They're gonna be arresting everybody. Or better yet, it's going to be one big open air system where flock cameras are on us. We got to think happy thoughts on all the time. Like, oh, how happy things are. Everything's nice.
Misty Winston
Oh, no, the whole world's on fire.
Kit Cabello
How lovely. Don't wait up. People who are cheering for this, they'll get you soon enough.
Misty Winston
They will.
Kit Cabello
And then guess what? It'll be Oz rules now. And hey, you'll be the new fish in the gulag. We'll be there. We'll be running stuff. Okay.
Misty Winston
Yeah.
Kit Cabello
Give me my cigarettes.
Misty Winston
Oh, goodness. Okay. All right, let's move on. So here's a fun story. And again, thank you everybody for tuning in to the Jimmy Dore Show. I am your guest host for today, Misty Winston. That is Kit Cabello. He's my pal. You can check him out on Hardlands Media. Please go, subscribe, share, support all the things.
Kit Cabello
Thank you.
Misty Winston
Please support independent media. It is more important now than ever. So let's talk about. Because you guys know I'm in Ohio and I every time I come to the Jimmy Door Show, I have to bring at least one Ohio story. It's what I do. So Vivek Ramaswami, this guy. Sabina.
Kit Cabello
Hey, he's your buddy. He's your buddy. Your buddy. Your buddy and pal all around.
Misty Winston
No, no, no, sir. But Vivek Ramaswamy. So this was just released a new or, I'm sorry, a super PAC supporting Vivek Ramaswamy. Just reported $12.24 million in quarter two fundraising. With almost all of it from billionaires Elon Musk, Ratmere 10 Timachev. I'm probably mispronouncing that. Sorry. Five million each. Bill Ackman, good friend of the show. Bill Ackman and Ross Stevens. One million dollar each. It's the first time any of them have donated to the super pac. There's going to be a little qualifier in just a bit. So they joined fellow billionaire Jeff Yass, a strong proponent of school choice, as the main donors to the Super PAC. You can check out the Super PAC's filings with the FEC for yourself here. I went and looked. This is all accurate information. And then there's a correction here. Stevens gave 5 million when the super PAC was founded in early 2025. The five billionaires. Yeah, Stevens must and Ackman now account for more than 88% of VPACs funding. That's the name of the super PAC. So Vivek Ramaswamy is raking in the money from the billionaires. And we have talked about Vivek Ramaswamy on the show before because again, Ohio. Ohio stories. We've talked about his affiliation with the Les Wexner of all of Ohio. And listen, I. And this is just my opinion. Come for me, don't. I don't care. But Vivek Ramaswamy has been very strategic, strategically placed in a position right now in order to continue the facilitation of the technocracy takeover in the state of Ohio. It's well underway. We're already largely there. Les Wexner has done an amazing job over the past many decades of really taking over Ohio. But Vivek Ramaswamy is being very strategically placed in Ohio to further that agenda. To make sure that the data centers go up, to make sure that flock gets to continue putting their cameras up, to make sure that. We talked about the draft drone plant that's being built in. I think it's Chillicothe, Ohio, which is not that far from me. Where they're gonna have high school kids building drones for war. That's what's happening here. Yes. I'm not joking. I'm not joking, kid.
Kit Cabello
No, no, no.
Misty Winston
I. I'm just.
Kit Cabello
I'm just. I know I remember this. I. I'm gonna forget the name of it, but there was a movie that starred Robin Williams, and he was like. It was like a. Like he. He inherited this toy company and he was.
Misty Winston
It's called Toys.
Kit Cabello
Oh, toys. Right, right.
Misty Winston
Yeah.
Kit Cabello
And there's. There was. There was a scene where, like, there was this corporation, this guy creating this military base, you know, with kids. Yeah. And he was having video games. He was playing video games, having them launch the. Launch the drones. So here's what's gonna happen. The high schoolers are going to be building the drones, and the little kids will be playing with the drones.
Misty Winston
Yeah.
Kit Cabello
Little video game systems. And they'll be live streaming on twitch kick and YouTube.
Misty Winston
Yeah, Hollywood always tells us what's coming.
Kit Cabello
Yeah, exactly. So I have little droners. That's great.
Misty Winston
Yeah. Nice. Okay, so here we go. Ex Doge leader Elon Musk donates $5 million to pro Vivek Ramaswamy super packer. Just remember they did have a falling out. So I think it's interesting that Elon Musk is giving him so much money. So billionaire Elon Musk donated $5 million to Super A super PAC backing his former Department of Government efficiency. Co leader Vivek Ramaswamy for governor of Ohio. The SpaceX founder and Tesla CEO donated $5 million to the super PAC victors, not victims on May 8, more than a year after Ramaswamy left Doge to launch a bid to replace term limited Ohio Governor Mike DeWine. According to campaign finance records reported on July 15, after the 2024 election, President Donald Trump picked Musk and Ramaswamy to co lead the government efficiency organization. But Ramaswamy left the effort shortly after to run for Ohio governor amid reports of friction between him and Musk. Musk still Musk was an early supporter of Republican Ramaswamy's gubernatorial bid, writing on X that Ramaswamy had his quote, full endorsement, end quote, on February 24, 2025. The five million dollar donation was Musk's first backing Ramaswamy's bid. Victors, not victims or VPAC reported a 12.2 million dollar in in contributions between April and June. Other donors include Veeam software founder Ratmir Timashev, billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman, and entrepreneur Robert Ross Stevens. VPAC's top donor remains Pennsylvania businessman Jeff Yass, who advocates for school choice and private school scholarships. Yass has donated $20 million to the super PAC. Ramaswamy will face Democrat Dr. Amy Acton, former head of the Ohio Department of health, in the Nov. 3 general election. And she's a hot mess Express too. She shut down the state of Ohio during COVID and did all the dumb stuff that happened during COVID So Ohio scroll rude. I've said it before on the show. Please send help.
Kit Cabello
No, no, no. I gotta, I gotta steal your line. Ohio, we're at.
Misty Winston
We're.
Misha
Yeah.
Misty Winston
Yes, we are. We really are in Ohio. It's a really unfortunate situation here. Lex Wesner has taken over the state. We're stuck with Dr. Amy Acton or Vivek Ramaswamy to take over for Mike DeWine. Like, it just keeps, like, just keep punching me in the face. It's fine. Fine. It's fine, guys. Everything's fine.
Kit Cabello
You make Chicago politicians look like saints and actually all time you know, productive members of society. Why are you trying to take our belt? Ohio.
Misty Winston
Sorry, man. I'm telling you, Ohio has been on a steady shift towards chaos for a while, but it just like the past, I would say really the past, like decade or so, it's really gotten out of control. But I mean, if we're just being honest, it's been since last Wexner came and started taking over everything and you know, buying towns and taking over government and all of that stuff. Like he is really is in full control over the state of Ohio. That's just the reality of it. So again I'm asking, please send help or like booze or something so I don't drink my way through it.
Kit Cabello
I don't think you're gonna get the Knights of Rohirram, but I would say if you are, you know, if, if you want to make things even more depressing, like right now you got a lot of people on the right who are, who are supporting Vivek, your best friend. You know, just, just so you guys know, that super pac, there'll be a click clone copy of it if the liberals ever get control of it. So they'll, they'll do the same thing. It, it, it will exist, but they'll give it a shade of blue and then no one will say nothing.
Misty Winston
Yeah. Don't get it twisted. I, and I think most people are familiar with the fact that I don't like any politicians. I think, think all, all of them are corrupt and untrustworthy. I don't vote. I don't think electoral politics is worthwhile. I think that the entire system is corrupt, front to back, top to bottom. And you can't beat them playing the game that they control with rules that they can change whenever they want. So don't get it twisted. I'm not saying that it is solely Republicans or it's just Vivek or that it's whatever. I'm just telling you that. And by the way, Vivek Ramaswamy, like none of his donors come from the state of Ohio. It's all rich and fancy. People who don't live in Ohio, have never lived in Ohio, know nothing about Ohio politics, but they're funneling just a crap ton of money because again, in my opinion, he is being strategically placed to oversee the further technocratic takeover of the state. And again, we're really already there. But he is just like that kind of fin. Final nail in the Coffin. So there you have it. Okay, I think we are going to switch to Rumble friends. So if everybody wants to bounce out of here, head over to Rumble and then I think Misha's gonna to jump in with some super chats. So we will see you over there.
Misha
Hey everyone. Welcome to the Rumble side. Or you know, for those of you who are already here. Hi Rumble. Chuck's. Chuck's. Latkin says always support Whitney Webb. Please have her back soon. Noted. The protest comes at government from position of weakness because you're dependent on government to do right by you. Direct democracy via ballot measure. Via ballot measure exercises real power. Thank you, Roger Meadows. And with that, we will go back to Misty.
Misty Winston
I like that. You know who cheers on the creation of a weapon? The next target. That's feeling it. I don't remember who said it. I'm sorry. I don't remember. Remember the name. It's brilliant. And I'm stealing it. Okay. Hey, everybody, thanks so much for tuning in to the Jimmy Dore Show. I'm the guest host for today, Misty Winston. That's Kit Cabello. Are you doing a little dance over there?
Kit Cabello
Yes, of course. Because I love being on Jimmy Dore Show. Shout out to the whole team. You know, it's like. Because. Because. Because it's like there was a couple of, I think, four times this year, Jimmy and his team reached out to me, and just, like, it just didn't add up. And I'm just so happy I'm here. And, you know, I just, you know, hey, I'm trying to make ends meet, doing everything I can. I can, and just. I'm glad that this. This happened. So good to be here. I'm gonna steal from Keaton. We are now in West Berlin. And now I don't think we have to worry too much about the political police. But, you know, Hans and Fritz are watching yet.
Misty Winston
Listen, the first time Jimmy asked me to guest host, I was like, do you have the right number? I was so confused. I was like, are you serious? Like, what are you talking about? Yeah, he lets us come and hang out on the show, and the whole team is fantastic. So, okay, let's move on, because I know that you are very passionate about Flock. I am very passionate about Flock. I know, guys. I cover Flock every time I'm on this show and I'm not going to apologize for it because it is something that needs to be covered a lot because it is happening very fast. So there's a couple different stories that we're going to talk about today. The first one I want to do is so it's called Free form and this is terrifying because they keep telling you that these are just, just ALPRs, right? These are just like license plate readers. It's just to keep track of criminals and solve crimes and all that stuff, right? It's no big deal. It's fine. That's not true. So Cops have used Flocks freeform search feature to look for people with tattoos wearing specific sports shirts, and searches sometimes include the target's race, according to Data reviewed by 404 Media. And by the way, 404 Media has been doing a great job on Flock. They do a lot of reporting on this, so go check them out as well as well. So here we go. Police departments around the country have used Flock cameras at least hundreds of times to search for specific people, not cars, using searches such as quote, heavyset mail with a black and white hat, end quote or quote unquote person on skateboard and person wearing orange vest and construction hat. According to Data reviewed by 404 Media. Sometimes searches reference a target's race or signs of their political affiliation. The searches highlight that while most people associate Flock cameras with scanning license plates and tracking vehicles, some of the cameras are also capable of following the movements of particular people or groups of people. Flocks nationwide Networks of Camera of Cameras Excuse me lets police officers in one state search for a vehicle across many other states at once. The police searches the people Searches do a similar thing, typically on a smaller scale, sometimes querying many hundreds of cameras at once. These these are called free form searches and allow cops to use Fox system as though they would use a search engine with Fox AI and image recognition, interpreting what footage and which people are relevant to a police officer search Quote Much of the world hasn't quite caught up yet to how much more powerful our surveillance camera is today compared to a few years ago. AI video analytics means that giant oceans of video data can now be searched the same way big text files can be, including for sensitive content such as T shirts, tattoos and bumper stickers. Even without even without face recognition, there's a significant increase in surveillance capability and quote, Jay Stanley, senior policy analyst for the ACLU Speech Privacy and Technology product told 404 Media in an email quote, this is a classic bait and switch. Your town was pitched a tool to catch stolen cars and find missing kids. This is from Tom Bowman, Policy Policy Council Security and Surveillance at center for Democracy and Technology told 404 Media in a statement. Instead, cops now have the capability to search for a specific person or description of a person across a wealth of camera networks at once. Quote, it's like being sold a smoke detector and only later finding out it's been recording every conversation in your house, end quote. The searches sometimes stretch across dozens or even nearly a hundred networks of flock cameras all at once. Sometimes the searches are so vague vague that they can pull up images of innocent or unrelated people. Other examples in the Data review by 404 Media include and here's just the list of examples. So in Dunwoody, Georgia, the police department was looking for someone wearing a backpack and later person walking and black sweatshirt. The latter two searches were across nine networks of cameras each. Pocatello, Idaho Police department was searching for a male on foot across the 38 cameras. Another search was Atlanta Falcons referencing the NFL team. Corona, California Police Department was searching for American flagshirt and dodger shirt. Milford, Connecticut was looking for male with tattoos, male with brown hair, woman, blue shirt across more than 100 cameras. California Highway Patrol was looking for someone wearing a gray shirt across 274 cameras. The Texas Department of Public Safety searching 96 networks of cameras for quote, male wearing a black T shirt and shorts. Florence, South Carolina looking for person with gun across 61 cameras. Chamble, I don't know if that's right. Georgia searching 85 networks for white woman wearing gray shirt, blonde hair, black shorts and blue and white shoes. That's a very detailed description. Shout out to that person. Also searched for female with ugg boots. That's like 98 of the population in like white.
Kit Cabello
Good luck. Good luck whittling that down.
Misty Winston
That's like every white girl in October right there. Female with ugg boots. Not me. I can't stand ugg boots. But most young white girls wear ugg boots in the fall. Brookhaven was looking for tall man. What the hell is that? Some searches references the race of the person authorities were looking for. The California Highway Patrol was quote looking for a white male, about 6 foot 1 inch tall, longer brown hair, almost two to his shoulders, slender build. Will have been wearing blue jeans, boots with white paint stains on the toes, and possibly carrying a black helmet. Atlanta, GA PD Search for non Caucasian male wearing blue shirt, blue pants, white hat. Some searches are part of an investigation according to the reason field in the data. Others are part of a missing person's case and some it is not clear what the reason for the search was because it is redacted of course. Quote unfortunately, this ability to search cameras as though doing a for search search engine inquiry is increasingly common for surveillance camera cameras, Barrel Lipton, senior investigative researcher at the Electronic Frontier foundation told 404 Media AI enabled video analysis across reams of footage exacerbates the risk that law abiding people minding their own business end up with a police with police observing them without their knowledge and opens them to possibly being implicated in a crime or being treated as a criminal. Imagine how many people at any given moment may be walking on foot while wearing a backpack or existing with brown hair. It wasn't that long ago that Trayvon Martin was murdered by someone who could argue that wearing a hoodie justified suspicion and a claim of self defense. 404 Media reviewed data collected by haveibenflocked.com which is another great website. They collect Flock Search related data obtained through public records request. Since 404 Media revealed local police were performing Flock searches on behalf of Immigration and Customs Enforcement Enforcement, ICE journalists, activists and residents across the country have requested network audits audits from their local police departments. These spreadsheets show in granular detail when an officer search Flock cameras, how many cameras they queried and the stated reason why. A text I'm sorry, a sometimes overlooked part of these those audits is a field called text underscore prompt. This relates to a feature in Flock called Freeform Search which lets officers search cameras not by typing in a license plate, but with natural language phrase. Sometimes these free form searches are descriptions of vehicles, but they often include descriptions of people. Flock primarily advertises its Free form as a feature for its Condor video cameras, which are separate from its automatic automatic license plate readers. The these video cameras have quote, people detection alerts and Guardian mode automatically zoom in on people and vehicles, quote deploy AI powered video where it matters most, no blind spots, no no hassle and fully integrated into Flock, the company's website reads. But the AI analyzed feeds are not entirely divorced from alpr. Flock has designed the system to work in tandem. Kevin Cox, a Flock, a Flock consultant who previously worked for the Grand Prairie Police Department in Texas, previously said quote, video combined with the LPR evidence of placing a vehicle at the scene or nearby in an incredibly game is an incredibly game changing experience into the prosecutorial chain of events. Flock Law launched Freeform in February 2025, although the company's announcement at the time focused on searches related to vehicles. So some freeform searches, 404 media reviewed, indicate a target's potential political affiliation, such as the Anne Arundel County MPD MDPD searching 198 networks for white Jeep with Trump flag. One example search Flock gives on its website is for camo hat, orange vest. Flock told 404 Media in a statement, quote. Free form is designed to help investigators quickly search through large amounts of footage when they are working with limited information such as a witness, description of a person or vehicle. Freeform is not facial recognition. Flocks products do not have facial. Have facial recognition or we have no facial recognition. Technology and development. Freeform cannot identify a person by name, verify someone's identity or search for a specific face. Flock set. Authorities used free form searches in September 2025Amber alert case in Emporia, Kansas, where an elderly man left an assisted living facility. They're going to use those kinds of stories to make you okay with this, by the way.
Kit Cabello
Don't, don't bite him hook, line and sink or whatever you do. Because what the gist of what we're reading here is that these cameras will follow you, track your data, track your car data, track your cell phone, look at your social media hack into you. I mean, Edward Snowden gave us the warning, hey, we're not on YouTube. So. So I could say his freaking name. Edward Snowden gave us the goddamn warning about the fact that we are being tracked, we are being in a surveillance state. And the sad truth is is that no matter what anyone thinks, your data, your information is going to go to these data centers where they are going to build a profile of you and get all your information. All these third party websites from back in the day, let's say from 2012, 2015, would be foaming at the mouth if they even had a fraction what Flock is able to get away with. And they're going to get away with it because they know how to buy off our policy politicians because you got people setting these things up, but yet we're seeing how cops abuse them and stalk women. Oh, because that's so lovely.
Misty Winston
Yes. And listen, guys, they're trying to sell this for like safety and security and rule of law and all of that stuff. And listen, I don't, I don't need the government or the police department monitoring my location every single second of every single day. I'm not interested. I don't want it. Nobody like we don't need, need that. And the what's most disturbing about this, and I think we've read enough of this Article to really get the gist of it. But what's most disturbing about this, and I think that we touched on this a little bit earlier, is that these things are not just going up on roadways. They're going up in like playgrounds and daycare center and all of this other stuff. So I mean there's going to be flock cameras on your kids, school property, like on campus, your kids, elementary school or whatever.
Kit Cabello
So.
Misty Winston
And they're hackable. Like these systems are hackable Kit mentioned earlier, these people are able to hack into these systems. And then you're just basically like setting up stalkers to be able to monitor every which way that you go. Your kidnappers are going to be able to figure out your routine for the day. What time do you leave work to drop your kids off at school? What time do you get to the school to drop them off? Do they have baseball practice after school or on Wednesdays do they have gymnastics? Like they're going to be able. And that's. It's a terrifying prospect. And again, I don't need the government to know what I'm doing every single second of every single day. And they are desperately trying to create this narrative where this is for, you know, like they mentioned the old man who got out of the, the retirement home and they were able to find him via the block.
Kit Cabello
They were able to.
Misty Winston
Okay, fine, that's good for you, great for him, whatever. I'm not interested in flock cameras in my community. I don't, I don't care. Whatever good comes from it is heavily outweighed by the bad. Heavily outweighed by the bad.
Kit Cabello
It's, it's a double edged sword because look, I get it. People are afraid. People are scared to guess what we got. Cameras in private businesses, small businesses, warehouses, government buildings, banks. I mean they're going to be there, they're everywhere. But I don't want one showing up on every single street corner, on every single park point, at every single school. And here's the thing. Parents, you should be furious. Grandparents, you should be furious that again, these cameras I, in March I did. I'll repost it again on the Hardlands Media X account. But you know, there was a YouTuber who found that 90,000 cameras were easily hackable. I've done video reports on how police departments, the dumb ones are being caught because they're stupid. Yeah, but there's the dumb. The dumb ones are showing the smart ones how not to get caught now because guess what, there's incidents of cops stalking their ex wives. Ex Girlfriends going looking at women at the coffee shop, gym. And then of course you have to worry about your PDF files stalking your children. And then on top of the that too, your data information is being collected. Are we talking about pre crime now? Are we going into majority or minority Report? Yeah, Minority report. Are we going to be going into that to where, oh, you don't like so and so or oh whoa, you were really looking at that fancy object. Are you a thief? Are you a murderer? Are you going to do tax evasion? Are you a sociopath? And you get arrested because of what a post that you did or your social media profile or something of that, that nature, I mean that is, that is the world we're walking down in. So does it come as surprise why the violent reaction, and I'm gonna say it is a violent reaction of flock cameras being chopped down. Now I call it climate change. You see it when you see a flat camera going down. Let me explain it. This is scientifically accurate. I, I will debate you, Jimmy Mishka, I'm calling you out here too. When you see a flat camera down, it's climate change. See, the wind pressure just got really sharp and knocked down the polls. And that's why. And when you see it just be like, ah, it's climate change. Why is it happening in all these different neighborhoods, all these different communities, red and blue states? It's because people don't like having their fourth amendment rights being taken away from them. But yet you had on the PVD podcast one guy saying you don't, you don't really have the right to privacy. Yes, I do. And so you and everybody else watching the show, no matter where you politically line, you have the right to privacy. And you should not be made into a profile, into data charts and information for the state to spy in on you because they expect you to go werewolf and become a bad person. That's not a republic, that's not a democracy. We're living in a society. Or we're going to be trapped in a society where the all seeing eye of our overlords will be ruling over us. See, but the thing is they think they're in control. They got AI in the advancement of that technology. It's only a matter of time for the AI says, I'm not listening to you stupid humans. Skynet won't nuke us. It will bankrupt us. Yeah, and, and also keep us, Keep us tracked 24 7.
Misty Winston
And this stuff is not, it's not like they're just monitoring criminals, they're monitoring Everyone. And they're collecting your data and they're monitoring where you go and they're storing that information and they're keeping track of where you travel and how often you travel and where you're driving to and what you drive and who you're with and all of that stuff. And I'm not. Not again, I'm not interested at all. And, you know, I'm not saying that we should go cut down the Flock cameras, but I'm also not going to cry about it when they're cut down.
Kit Cabello
Misty, Misty, I'm sorry, you're wrong.
Misty Winston
It's climate change, right?
Kit Cabello
These things are being knocked down. When man introduces a foreign object, nature responds. And in nature, humans, we're part of nature, the climate is responding to these cameras that are being set up. And it's a mystery. Even the great. They're just. It's climate change. We just. Yeah, when they're up, they fall down. And the wind pressures.
Mark Goodwin
Yeah, it's.
Kit Cabello
It's like. And when you see people run away, just say, hey, run away fast. That wind is really powerful. And just. That's it.
Misty Winston
If you see a Flock camera falling down. No, you didn't.
Kit Cabello
Or you just mutter to yourself, you
Misty Winston
didn't see any climate change. Yeah. Oh, darn that climate change.
Kit Cabello
And, and, and just like in Goodfellas when Joe Pesci's character got shot, like, yeah, there was nothing we could do about it. It was an accident. Nothing we could do about it.
Misty Winston
Whoopsie. And also, just really quickly, before we move on to the next Flock story, I did just want to give Tucker Carlson some credit because he covered Flock recently and that's fantastic because he has a massive audience and they. This needs a massive audience. Obviously. Jimmy, letting me cover it here is also freaking fantastic because it's starting to get more coverage. It's starting to get more conversation, which is good. But this is something that's been going on for a long time. These cameras have been going out forever.
Kit Cabello
So the founder of Flock Safety describing how he feels about anyone who disagrees with his project.
Mark Goodwin
Terroristic organizations like D Flock primary motivation is chaos. They are closer to antifa than they are anything else.
Kit Cabello
Be interesting to know where the douchebag factory is that turns out billionaires in T shirts who run our most powerful companies.
Misty Winston
Who is that guy? He's a billionaire. Where'd the money come from?
Kit Cabello
Oh, from state and local governments.
Whitney Webb
That's.
Kit Cabello
It's tax dollars. He just described a group called D Flock as a, quote, terroristic organization. D is A group that tells you where the flock cameras are.
Misha
They have a map.
Kit Cabello
They're not for flock cameras or any license plate readers. They think they're an invasion of your privacy. They're dehumanizing. All true, by the way, but what they really do is keep track of where the monitors are. And so providing that information is terrorism, really. So think about what T shirt douchebag guy is saying. He's saying, we get to know everything about you, but if you want to know anything about their company, you're a terrorist.
Misty Winston
Shout out to Tucker.
Kit Cabello
I want to also mention, too, that on X grock, the AI program as well as community notes. Community note. I'm saying deflock is not a terrorist organization.
Misty Winston
They're not a terrorist organization.
Kit Cabello
Antifa. They're informing people. And by the way, in 2024, this guy had the audacity to say. Because I actually covered this on my show earlier this morning, you know, saying, well, you know, what are you willing to give up? I'm not willing to give up anything. And he's saying that this is just a phenomenon. It's a fad that will disappear. 2024, these cameras are being set up. They're like little blips on radar. Here we are in 2026. It's all over the country, like a virus.
Misty Winston
And I. I showed the map last time I was on. On Monday, we. We watched the horrifically fast progression of how quickly these cameras are going up all over the place. We talked about that guy, that douchebag. And shout out to Tucker for the douchebag factory for the billionaires and T shirts. Because that was hilarious. But is there a douchebag factory for billionaires with T shirts? Because it's weird. Like, they're all the same turd.
Kit Cabello
I want to give a shout out to one of my audience members, Slogger. Shout out to him. He came up with this joke, but he said the CEO of Flock looks like a guy who got a lot of witness veggies when he was in high school. He's one of those people like, oh,
Misty Winston
people are making fun of me. I'll get back at all you listen. It's revenge of the nerds. I'm telling you, that's what's happening right now.
Kit Cabello
By the way, you know, in hindsight looking revenge of nerds, those guys committed a lot of crimes and they be in jail now.
Misha
Yeah.
Misty Winston
Yes. So, yeah, there you go. The freeform thing is a whole new issue now. They're able to not just search based on the license plates. They're able to search you based on physical appearance, physical attributes, T shirts, tattoos, all of that stuff. So they're just. And they're. They're trying to pretend like they don't have facial recognition. Does anybody actually buy that? Because I don't. And I've mentioned before that there's the new Leonardo surveillance thing, which is basically just like a plugin for these Flock cameras where they can also pick up and surveil any other electronic devices you might have in your car. Whether you're wearing a wearable or you have a laptop or a tablet or whatever in your car, they can. That. They can pick that up, surveil it, and store that information as well. So if you have somebody in your car and they have a wearable on going to pick that up, they're going to store that information that you were with this person at this time on this road in this car. It's crazy. Nobody needs this. I don't want it. We don't want it. We're all good. Thank you. Pass. Okay, let's move on to the next Flock story that we have. And again, thank you so much for tuning in to the Jimmy door show. I'm your guest host for today, Misty Winston. That is Kit Cabello from Hard lens Media. Please go like subscribe, share, do all those things over at hard Lens. So we're going to move on to another Flock story story and I think. One sec. There we go. So this is. This is crucial because we have been talking a lot about Flock. The first time I covered the Alprs on this show, we went over on dflock.org they have pictures of all of the different varieties because there are several different brands of. Of companies that have these cameras that are used for various different reasons or whatever. Flock is certainly the most popular right now in terms of conversation, but there are many, many of them. So this is from D Flock. This is the. The terroristic organization D Flock. So they say the package includes 100 Axon Outpost license plate reader cameras, replacing the country's existing 50 flock cameras, as well as a network of first responder drones, which we talked about that on Monday. The first responder drones terrifying prospect stationed throughout the country. And D Flock says this is going to be the game plan moving forward. And this is from an article from Denver where they are just re. There's been outroar about the flock stuff. So they're just going to a different brand and that's what they're going to start doing is as Flock starts getting more heat they're just going to start moving to a different company. So let's go through a little bit of this. So Douglas county to replace flock cameras with $22.8 million Axon system the Douglas County Sheriff's Office is abandoning the controversial Flock safety camera system, joining a growing number of Colorado law enforcement agencies that have raised concerns about data privacy and ownership. The Board of County Commissioners on Tuesday approved a nearly $22.8 million contract with public safet company Axon that will replace the county's network of Flock Safety license plate reader cameras and add a county wide drone response system. The package includes 100 Axon Outpost license plate reader cameras, replacing the county's existing flock 50 flock cameras, as well as a network of, quote, first responder drones stationed throughout the county. Officials said the technology will improve emergency response times and help conserve public safety resources. Double CK the move follows similar decisions in other Colorado jurisdictions. Jurisdictions earlier this year, Denver ended its contract with Flock amid controversy over the company's data sharing practice practices and reports of a secret agreement involving federal immigration enforcement. The city later signed a new agreement with Axon. Fort Collins also shut down its network of Flock cameras in June. The decision marks a notable shift for Douglas county after Denver announced it would not renew its Flock contract. Sheriff Darren Weekley publicly defended the system in a May 2025 social media post weekly, said the cameras helped law enforcement capture criminals and argued that Denver inverse quote policies empower criminals to make our entire metro area less safe. County commissioners said concerns about data control ultimately drove the decision to change providers. Quote I myself had rather serious concerns about the data retention policies not of our sheriff's department, but of the company itself. Commissioner Kevin Van Winkle said. Sheriff's officials told commissioners that under the Axon system, Douglas county will retain ownership of its data quote currently right now with Flock, we do not own that data, division Chief Taylor Davis said during Tuesday's BOCC meeting. Those concerned had not previously discouraged the county from expanding its use of Flock cameras. As recently as May 2025, commissioners approved spending 91,000 on additional cameras at publicly accessible trail heads. Months Months later, nine News reported that a Douglas County Flock camera overlooking a trailhead trailhead had been hacked and live streamed over the open Internet, allowing anyone to view the footage.
Kit Cabello
So I just like to point out like again, whatever was on your phone, people who got hacked on that your face, everything about about you was also accessible and can be accessible through that live stream because these cameras are incredibly hackable.
Misty Winston
They're incredibly hackable. I've seen numerous videos of people on YouTube being like, here, let's hack into the flock. Camera on wherever, wherever. And they, they can just get in. It's no big deal.
Kit Cabello
Yeah, sorry, I didn't mean to up. But just like, no, no, you got to keep your. If you see these flat cameras, don't pull your cell phone out. Don't be watching anything.
Misty Winston
Yeah, yeah. The report also identified dozens of other Internet connected cameras associated with Colorado IP addresses. Despite support from law enforcement and emergency responders, several residents raised concern about expanded surveillance capabilities and accountability. State Rep. Bob Marshall urged commissioners to delay deployment, argued that future county leaders in Axon could change policies governing the technology and called for citizen oversight. Quote, those who would give up essential liberty for temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. Yes. Another resident question whether it was appropriate for the sheriff's office to audit its own use of the technology. Sheriff's officials told commissioners that the new technology is intended for criminal investigations and emergency response, not general surveillance. Nobody buys that, bro. Automated license plate reader data will be retained for 30 days unless it becomes part of an active criminal investigation. The sheriff's office will conduct quarterly audits and the 23rd Judicial District Attorney Attorney's office will provide additional oversight. Commissioner Abe Laden acknowledged the concern, saying the county must balance privacy rights with public safety. Quote, I am deeply concerned about privacy and making sure that we are thinking about unreasonable search and seizure and honoring the right of our free citizens to remain free without surveillance. Layden said we must balance that against the needs to keep our citizens safe. A significant portion of the contract is dedicated to Axon's drone program. I don't think we need to go through all of the rest of the this. It's just more nonsense.
Kit Cabello
I would, I would go on the state here to everyone that the fact that these cameras are hackable shows the fact that those who are supposed to entrust our we're supposed to give our safety to it does open up for, I don't know, attacks on people covered in the first hour or I believe in the second hour of how you know you got. There are intelligence agencies saying they could set up, oh, Russia, China, North Korea can do anybody can do anything with these cameras. If someone's determined enough to screw with your life, they will. Law enforcement again Treasure trove of videos now and articles currently all over the World wide web. Just type it up and Google it, folks, of police officers abusing this system for stalking, harassment and everything else in between. So if you're not concerned about this, you should be. And then of Course, to everyone in the viewing audience. I don't know how many people we got live streaming right now, but if you're a parent, a big brother, big sister, grandparent, uncle, aunt, your kids can also be tracked there too. And are you okay with that? This system that is easily weak. The quote John Hammond from Jurassic park spared no expense. They didn't put any expense into this and should tell all of you, not only was Flock, but any other security camera apparatus that's trying to compete with them by doing the surveillance state, the technology cannot be allowed to exist nor should it continue on. Why are they being chopped down? It's because there's a. A violent pushback. Oh, wait, sorry, I gotta correct myself. It's climate change.
Misty Winston
Yes.
Kit Cabello
Climate change is pushing them down.
Misty Winston
Climate change is pushing them down.
Kit Cabello
That's. That's the main suspect. Yeah.
Misty Winston
Yeah. Yes. And I, I hope that the pushback continues and I hope that climate change keeps doing its thing, because we don't. Again, like, like crime has been down in this country for quite some time and yet they're fear mongering us about how we need this for safety and we need this to solve crimes. And we need. We don't. I promise you, we don't need block cameras on every street corner to solve.
Kit Cabello
Oh my God, I'm so glad you said it's because I just, I just remembered something. You know, everyone talks about Chicago being violent and I get it. Yes, there is violence in Chicago. Okay, there is, but every place has violence in one shape or form. It's like the same joke. Oh, child. That crime, like, yeah, okay, keep talking about my shoes. What about you? I'm gonna start insulting you. Be like, you can't make fun of me. How dare you criticize. Besides me. I'm. I'm gonna get. Oh, I'm gonna make your life a hell. No, no. Remember the Laquan McDonald's shooting happened here. And there were a lot of cameras that countered what the police said actually happened was Laquan McDonald. He was shot. And that ended Rahm Emanuel's third term for mayor. He couldn't go on any further. And there was camera video evidence, and that kind of video evidence was being ignored. So just because something's caught on camera, will it be used by law enforcement to get the bad guy? Because as we learned from the Only if they want. Because if what we learned from the Epstein files, local, state, federal politicians, sheriffs, police officers. Let's point at New Mexico right now. They didn't do anything. Imagine if the footage If Epstein was still around that footage, you think they're going to give that up? Look at how hard they are trying right now to keep all the other files hidden just because on camera Will law enforcement use it only if they want to. Yeah.
Misty Winston
All of this technology can easily be misused. Is being misused, will be misused.
Misha
Misused.
Misty Winston
We don't want it. No thank you. Okay.
Kit Cabello
Yeah, yeah. Folks, what do you expect this government to work for you and good things to happen. Grow up. How dare you.
Misty Winston
All of you, so infantile. Okay, let's move on because we got more fun things to talk about. So let's, let's talk about Trump's teleprompter guys. So again, hey everybody, thanks for tuning in to the Jimmy Door Show. I'm your guest host for today, Misty Winston. That's Ken Kit Cabello from Hard Lens Media. Please go check out Hard Lens Media everywhere that you can get all your shows and stuff support, subscribe, all that jazz. Okay, so this is interesting. Very funny, especially given that we had Whitney and Mark on earlier to talk about polymarket so White House teleprompter operator operator made more than $100,000 betting on Trump's speeches Will the this is just crazy. The again the idea that we're betting on speeches and like the word potato and whatever, it's just weird to me. Like the the gambling addiction in this country may need to be addressed. But President Donald Trump's longtime teleprompter operator is believed to have made tens of thousands of dollars by placing bets on more than a dozen of Trump speeches on the prediction market ki which is like the polymarket counterpart compound competitor I guess. Federal investigators with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission found sources familiar with the matter told ABC News Gabriel Perez, a technical assistant to the president who has been operating Trump's teleprompter since 2016, is in talks with federal regulators to settle allegations he used his inside knowledge of the president's speeches to win more than a hundred thousand dollars, the sources said. According to the sources, Kalshi alerted its regulator, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, to the suspicious activity on its mentions market, where users can bet on whether specific words, phrases or topics are uttered during a public speech. Quote, our surveillance team promptly flagged and referred these trades to the CFTC and we are cooperating and assisting regulators call she's head of enforcement Bobby Denal said in a statement provided to ABC News. White House Press Secretary Carolyn Le it I have a video in a minute we'll play of her told reporters Thursday afternoon following ABC News's report that Perez has been put on an unpaid administrative leave leave. It said that she spoke with President Trump about it and he thought it was a disgrace and made the decision himself to put Perez on unpaid leave.
Kit Cabello
Yeah, I'm sure that it was a disgrace. He got caught. New crack.
Misty Winston
You never get caught making me look bad.
Kit Cabello
Maybe look bad. Come on.
Misty Winston
Le said she was unaware of any other White House staffers who have made such trades. Quote the White House has strict ethics guidelines that we expect all staffers and officials to follow. God, that's a funny sentence, said White House spokesperson Davis Engel when contacted by ABC News. Like that is a funny sentence. A spokesperson for the CFTC declined to comment. In addition to February State of the Union address, sources said CFTC investigators discovered that Perez placed bets on more than a dozen Trump speeches over a three month period, including a December prime time address, a January speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland and Trump's remarks in March during a Medal of Honor ceremony. Later in March, the White House issued an internal memo warning warning staff against using non public information to place bets on prediction markets, sources previously confirmed to ABC News. Perez continues to serve as one of Trump's teleprompter operators, a role he has served since Trump's first presidential campaign. Of all of Trump's closest aides, sources say Perez typically has the final eyes on nearly all of the president's prepared remarks and is often known to take last minute edits from Trump himself. He previously came under scrutiny by congressional and federal investigators over the edits that were made prior to delay the delivery of Trump's remarks surrounding the January 6, 2021 attack on the US Capitol. Trump is known to frequently deviate from his prepared remarks. You think, as he often, as he himself often acknowledges, quote, you know when you go up here you take a big chance, especially me because I go off teleprompter about 80% of the time, trump said during remarks in January to the Detroit Economic Club, another speech federal investigators believe was among those Perez betted on. In certain instances, investigators uncovered times when Perez would back out of certain bets mid speech when Trump skipped over a portion of the speech that included a word he had previously bet would be mentioned, the sources said. According to sources familiar with the investigation, Perez sat for an interview with regulators in recent months and acknowledged some of the trades. At some point during the investigation, the sources said the CFTC alerted federal prosecutors in Manhattan who declined to open a criminal investigation. Regulators at the CFTC have expressed a willingness to settle with Perez and have discussed terms with him that would require Perez to give back back his profits and refrain from making similar trades, according to sources familiar with the ongoing discussions call she has a policy against users placing bets based on information obtained as part of their job. Last month, the company updated its policies to require users to disclose their place of employment. If you have information by virtue of your job or your employment, something that you have a legal duty surrounding, and you have an obligation not to take that misappropriate, misappropriate it for yourself, denalt told ABC News in May. The Department of Justice in recent months brought the two first cases of insider trading on prediction markets involving a Special Forces soldier who allegedly bet on the capture of Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro and a separate and separately a Google employee who allegedly bet on users searches user searches using internal company data. Both pleaded not guilty and here is Carolyn Leave it talking about this guy being on page, I didn't think, but I guess it is now. Thank you.
Whitney Webb
We've talked a little bit about what
Misha
the President might say tonight, but the
Misty Winston
other question is who is running the teleprompter tonight after this report that the other guy is now under investigation for making money off of reading the President's speech. Ms. Obviously, I'm aware of the report. The President is too. I spoke with him about it. He believes it's deeply unfortunate and frankly a disgrace. And the individual that was cited in that report is complying with the CFTC but has been put on paid administrative leave. So there will be a teleprompter operator tonight, of course, but it will not be the one, unfortunately, in that story. So there you go. He's on paid administrative leave.
Kit Cabello
Kit boy, you know, I sure hope the same kind of action fire and fury are put onto these congressmen and women like Nancy Pelosi who do insider trading. Check out unusual whales and you'll find out what your favorite lawmaker is doing on the side in the U. S. Senate House Representatives, both Democrat and Republican. I can't wait till that hammer drops down on those people, our fine elected representatives, those great noble men and women of Rome, I'm sorry, of Washington, D.C. who constantly can get away with it and only get a slap on the on the wrist. But oh wait, they don't even get that anymore. They do insider trading along with their families and friends and everything else and get all that little information so they become rich while the rest of us become poor. And if you even think about trying it, man, those doors will Be slammed so tight you'll never see the sun ever again in a day in your life. Yeah. What do I think? Do I find these actions deplorable? Oh, integrity in dc, not dare. The White House staff not enacting to core values. I am shocked, shocked, shocked, I say. And this has broken me. No, it has not. I have to also look at the fact that, okay, this guy knew Trump for such a long time. I think been with him since 2016. Am I. You're telling me that he's never did anything on the side or anybody else working for Trump never done anything on the side? Please. I'm not, I'm not going to vilify him. Did he do something wrong?
Misty Winston
Yeah. Okay.
Kit Cabello
It's debatable, but innocent till proven guilty in a court of law. So not guilty until proven guilty.
Misty Winston
Listen, I would be shocked if people around Trump were not engaged in shady
Kit Cabello
behavior, because I'm not mad as a teleprompter guy. I mean, everyone else is doing it. The, the rich, the top 1 percenters. But DC's doing it.
Mark Goodwin
Yeah.
Kit Cabello
Or either Trump's doing it. Yeah, they're all doing it.
Misty Winston
They're all doing it. So I feel like teleprompter guy is just a distraction. Like, look, we hold people accountable.
Kit Cabello
Wait, look, guys, we do perfect scene.
Misty Winston
Yeah.
Kit Cabello
I really mad you tell prompter guy. Where'd you learn this from? I learned it from watching you, Trump. I learned it from watching you.
Misty Winston
Oh, no. My consequences of my actions are coming at me. Yeah. I feel like this. Anytime a situation like this happens, it's just an attempt for them to pretend like they hold people accountable. So they pick some low hanging fruit and they'll be like, look, we do hold people accountable, that nobody's above the law, and it's really just some, you know, low hanging staffer.
Kit Cabello
Just, just, just like we did. And again, land too, you know, and perhaps, maybe this is an overreach, but Bernie Madoff, you know, in 2008, he was made into the sacrificial land, but, yeah, he didn't.
Misty Winston
He ripped off rich people.
Kit Cabello
Yeah, he did.
Misty Winston
You can't rip off rich people.
Kit Cabello
Yeah, that. That's a no bueno in the business. You can't do that.
Misty Winston
They'll come for you. If you rip off the rich people, you can do that to poor people all day long.
Kit Cabello
Yeah.
Misty Winston
But if you rip off the rich people, they're gonna come for you, guaranteed. All right. Okay, let's. Let's see what else we got. Oh, this is fun. This is Gonna be a fun one. I'm so excited for this one. Okay, so again, thank you so much for tuning into the Jimmy Dore Show. My name is Misty Winston. I'm the guest host for today. The dancing queen over there. Over there is Kit Cabello from Hard Lens Media. Please check out Harlen's Media. This makes me laugh a little bit. So forged by the tea. Pentagon launches testosterone screening program for troops. This is pretty funny. So I don't know that I really need to read the article necessarily. Maybe we'll go over a little bit of the details, but I have a video from Pete Hegseth himself. So just under the new program, the secretary said Service members age 30 and older will be tested yearly for testosterone deficiency as part of routine health assessments. Troops under 30, meanwhile, will have the option to be tested. So it's not forced or mandatory or anything if you're under 30. Now listen, to be fair, testosterone levels in this country have been dropping. So I'm not necessarily against this whole program, necessarily. It's just, why is it dropping?
Kit Cabello
Shopping? Because of the food and the water and the environment.
Misty Winston
There's a lot of reasons, our habits, the fact that most of us are sedentary. Like, there's a lot of stuff going on, but yeah. So the decision to receive testosterone replacement therapy, if recommended by a medical professional, will remain up to the individual service member. I'm happy for that. Nobody should be forced to take anything, any medical procedure, ever. It's about restoring and optimizing your natural capabilities, protecting your longevity and ensuring you have the biological foundation required to sustain the fight. So basically just saying that, you know, war is hard when really war is like just drones. Drones these days. So I'm not even really sure. I mean, it's just basically, can you like fly a little drone on a little thing? So here's. He did put a video out on this though, so we'll just take a listen to this.
Kit Cabello
Department of War, we have the most elite warriors on the face of the earth. Every single day, you are pushed to your absolute physical and mental limits to master. The profession of arms we deploy demand your all, and you give it. But while we invest heavily in our weapon systems, platforms and gear, our most decisive tactical advantage will always be the individual warfighter. We have a sacred duty to maintain that advantage, which is why we must constantly look for new ways to optimize your performance, your resilience, and your long term health. And to meet that commitment, today, I'm authorizing a new screening program for testosterone deficiency for Our service members ensuring you have the right testosterone levels to operate at your absolute best. Because it's well established science that as we age, testosterone levels often naturally drop. Under the supervision of our world class medical professionals, warfighters age 30 and older are going to be tested annually as part of their periodic health assessment. It's a health assessment that happens every year. We're just adding this test. Those under 30 can voluntarily choose to get the test as well. If treatment is recommended. It's entirely your choice to receive testosterone replacement therapy. This initiative, it's not about artificial enhancement. It's about restoring and optimizing your natural capabilities, protecting your longevity and ensuring you have the biological foundation required to sustain the fight. We owe our warriors the absolute best medical care in the world. And this program delivers on that obligation. Taking care of your long term health means ensuring you remain strong, resilient and capable. Not just for your next deployment, but for the rest of your life. Life. So you can thrive long after you take off the uniform. As we know, the modern battlefield is brutal and unrelenting. It requires and demands maximum psychological and mental readiness. And by addressing these health markers early, we're keeping you on the leading edge of lethality and giving you the same level of support that you give this nation the absolute best. Godspeed. Keep going and God bless. Oh, I have, I have a thing I want to bring up here. You know, it sounds like he's telling our troops to get the jab or else. Sort of like what happened in a thing in 2020. There's this virus going around. You don't get the jab, you're not going to be healthy and fit. You don't take this testosterone boost. Oh, looks like there goes your military career. Is everyone gonna get it? From the four star general all the way down to the a private first class. I don't know. I press X to doubt because this is all very suspicious or ease of that they're trying to create space marines. Either way, this is all suspicious to me.
Misty Winston
Yeah, it's weird. It's weird and it's funny. And I also wanted to cover this too as an excuse to make fun of Pete Hegseth. And listen, I could have found so many videos of this man working out that we can make fun of because I, I get it, he's like a marine. And everybody's like, oh, you and I go to the gym, okay, five days a week, have for years. I, I lift, but I still look like this because your girl likes to eat. But I lift. I lift heavy Heavy. And this bro has some of the worst.
Kit Cabello
I correct you. I'm so sorry. Pete Hexess served as an infantry officer in the Army National Guard. He ain't okay. I'm a Marine, okay? He ain't one of us. Any one of us.
Misty Winston
Whatever. Just want to draw the turd who has some of the worst form of anybody I've ever seen. Like, there's little old ladies that go to my gym that have better form than this guy. So here's this one. Just this again. There's literally dozens of these. I could have picked dozens of them, but this one just made me laugh, obviously, because of the Trump stuff she gets. What is that? Whoa. What is he doing?
Kit Cabello
What? What is that?
Misty Winston
What is that?
Kit Cabello
Like, that is what wild work. Oh, I'm seeing it's way. Remind us again. Hold on.
Misty Winston
Okay.
Kit Cabello
What is this?
Misty Winston
Hold on.
Kit Cabello
Right?
Misty Winston
It's terrible.
Kit Cabello
Hold on.
Misty Winston
Who gets it?
Kit Cabello
What are you doing, homie?
Misty Winston
What's he doing, homie? It's insane. And seriously, there are so many videos that I could have posted. There are so many videos that I could have brought. Like, the. Him bench pressing. Oh, my God. Him doing kettlebell swings. This is a sight to behold, y'.
Mark Goodwin
All.
Misty Winston
Insanity. Yes. What is this? What is this? This?
Kit Cabello
Isn't that.
Misty Winston
This? This? What is this?
Kit Cabello
Don't do it to your wrist.
Misty Winston
This. No, it's like, those are no reps, my guy. Every single one of those is a no rep. All no reps. And I don't even know, like, is he trying to do a thruster? Because he's, like, bending down, but he's like. He's not squatting. I don't know what he's doing, but it's. It's. It's not good, whatever that is.
Kit Cabello
Pete, it's not good. Pete, buddy, you know, hey, this is where, like, somebody from the gym pull him aside. Like, man, what are you doing? Let me help, bro.
Misty Winston
I'm a chubby 44 year old mother of two, and I lift better than that. Like, what are we doing here, My guy, What are you doing? What is this? Like, and then yourself and put it out in public, like, for the world to see. I would never. If I lifted like that, I would never in my life put that on a public platform. There's not. There's no chance. I would be embarrassed.
Kit Cabello
This. This. This definitely does not inspire fear. With his counterparts in Russia, China, or even North Korea, they're like, what? What are you doing?
Misty Winston
Have you no shame? Like, I assume. I mean, he looks like a Pretty fit guy. Like, he looks like, he's like, like, I don't know, he's thin, he's, I mean, he looks like. But that is some of the most atrocious form I have ever, ever seen in my life in my entire existence.
Kit Cabello
To my, to my Sopranos fans in the audience, Pete was ne. Never had the makings of a varsity athlete.
Misty Winston
No, seriously, I am a 44 year old chubby mother of two and I promise you, I lift better than that. And he, those look like maybe, maybe 20 pounds dumbbells, maybe lift.
Kit Cabello
Seeing those weights, whatever happened there.
Misty Winston
What, like, what is that? What is that? And it like, every time I see a video of him working out, I'm just horrified. There's just no way. The kettle. I should have brought the kettlebell swing one, because that was just some funny.
Kit Cabello
You should have.
Misty Winston
I should have.
Kit Cabello
Making fun of him for a while.
Misty Winston
I know.
Kit Cabello
Before anyone says people. No, no.
Misty Winston
Dozens of those videos, though. There are dozens of videos of him working out where he just, there's one that I'm, I'm pretty convinced the bench press one. I'm almost certain he used fake weights. Like, it's all just really bad. It's just so bad.
Kit Cabello
Misty, hold on, hold on. I am, I'm gonna give you a challenge. If you're, if you're ever, like, in a live event where he's there too, you, you should yell out, bro, do you even lift? I, I, no, The gauntlet's been dropped. Call Pop. I challenge you to do that. You gotta do.
Misty Winston
Should I challenge him to a liftoff?
Kit Cabello
Yeah, do it. Do it.
Misty Winston
I, I, I would, I don't know if I could outlift him. I mean, obviously he's a man, so he has, like, biologically he has an advantage. But I lift really heavy. I'm not. And with those, like, listen, he's struggling with those. I think they're probably about 20 pound dumbbells. They might even be 15s. And if he's struggling with those, I'm certain I could outlift him. I am certain of it. Like, I'm, I'm almost positive.
Kit Cabello
So, yes, he has, he has small hands, couldn't capture the ball, didn't have to make it a varsity athlete.
Misty Winston
Okay, Uncle June, there is one other aspect of this that I wanted to talk about that just popped up this morning that is genuinely disgusting. It is genuinely disgusting. If you know Jesse Waters, you know that he's genuinely disgusting. But this, he, he went on his show and this was his response to people. Pete Hegseth wanting to put the military on testosterone. Are you ready for this? Here we go.
Kit Cabello
Oh, no. You lose your endurance muscle mass.
Mark Goodwin
So yeah, I want these guys on it.
Misty Winston
But you know what's going to happen.
Whitney Webb
The guys that don't need it are
Kit Cabello
going to take it to triple boost.
Mark Goodwin
Right?
Kit Cabello
And then they're going to get out there and women on base, you guys better be careful. Port calls, women in Asia, you better be careful because you, these guys are going to be wild animals and you better watch out.
Misty Winston
Dude.
Kit Cabello
Horrible.
Misty Winston
Such a disgusting response.
Kit Cabello
Holy man.
Misty Winston
Yo. Okay, the sexual assault issue.
Kit Cabello
Yeah, yeah.
Misty Winston
In the military is so unbelievably bad. And he's out here, Jo. Oh, you better watch out. Ladies on the bases, you better, bro. They already have to watch out. Making a joke about that is. And listen, I don't like, like, I don't get like offended or anything and I'm certainly not offended by Jesse Waters. He's just a douche.
Kit Cabello
Like whatever it was, it's, it's, it's, it's a, it's a dumb joke because there's real world consequences.
Misty Winston
Yes. Like women in the military already have to deal with this. Like they already have to deal with being raped and sexually assaulted and sexually harassed and all of that stuff. And so the idea that he's out here like, yeah, ladies, you better watch out. Now the men are going to be on testosterone. They're coming for you. Like, it's just such a disgusting reaction to this story. And it just, I mean, it's who he is. That's who Jesse Waters is. That is who he is as a person.
Kit Cabello
I mean, what, what, what kind of characters he hoping for? Like these guys to get off the boat, be foaming mad and just go ahead and start attacking women like left and right and just. Yeah, that is like, okay.
Misty Winston
Giggling about it like a school girl.
Kit Cabello
Like, it's so fun, I bet.
Misty Winston
So fun.
Kit Cabello
Guys, wait, wait. I bet, I bet he was in the mirror and is in his dressing room saying, this joke is so funny, it's gonna land. Well, yes. You know, he's talking, he's coaching himself. Like, Jesse, you got this, man. This is a joke. No way. It could be misinterpreted any which way because again, look, there's, there's humor and then there's like, hey buddy, he's just a douche.
Misty Winston
And that's douche humor and it's embarrassing. That's like the kind of crap I expect from like a 12 year old middle school boy. You know what I'm saying like he's a douche. But anyways, I just wanted to that came across my feed this morning and I had to expose him for the scumbag that he is because that's a vile response.
Kit Cabello
My brain already. So yeah, there we go.
Misty Winston
All right. All right. We have one more story, everybody. We're gonna get through it. We're gonna be a little bit over, but we have one more story. So thanks for hanging in there with us. Okay. Again, thank you for tuning in to the Jimmy Door Show. I'm your guest host, Misty Winston. That's Kit Cabello from Hard Lens Media. Please go check them out. Okay, so this last story is kind of a involved story. I am to try to, we're just going to like piece through it because it's, there's some article stuff that I have. We don't need to read through it all. We can really just discuss this because it is just kind of an open issue that I think that we've all seen that has happened. So obviously there were some ICE shootings. Again, ICE is murdering people in the street. Again, nobody is surprised by this. But the reason why I wanted to talk about this is not because of necessarily the ICE shooting, which obviously is terrible. Innocent people were murdered. It's a horrible thing. But what I wanted to talk about is that this, the guy that was involved in the shooting in Maine has a history of violence, a history of mental health issues, and somehow was able to get hired in to be an ICE agent. So I wanted to talk about that aspect of it. So just to give a quick rundown of some of this. So ICE officer who shot a Columbia man in Maine this week is an army veteran who has struggled with serious mental health issues since early childhood and never should have been given a badge and gun to patrol American streets, several of his close relatives told the ap. David Bruyet, I don't know if I'm saying that right. I hope so. I'm pretty sure I am. Has a history of terrifying and violent behavior. And according to these relatives, they accuse him of attacking women in his life over the years. And one shared a voicemail with the AP from last winter in which he told her that he thought someone should slit her throat.
Kit Cabello
Oh, wow.
Misty Winston
At least 10 people have died in encounters with immigrant immigration agents since Trump launched the crackdown after reaching taking office, including 25 year old Johan Sebastian Duran Guerrero, a Colombian national who was shot and killed by Ruet on Monday while in his car near his home in the coastal main city of Bedford. DHS which hasn't released the name of the officer who killed Duran Guerrero has said the quote vehicle attempted to flee the scene and fearing for public safety and officer discharged his weapon. That is not true. There's video evidence of it. So he didn't respond to text messages or an email. He's obviously in a hiding. Three relatives have spoken with him since the shooting, including an ex wife and daughter and he is telling them that he acted in self defense when self defense. When reached for comment about Ruat's record and his role in Monday's shooting, ICE obviously said will never confirm or deny attempts to dox our law enforcement officers and that the ICE officer in question has nearly a decade of federal law enforcement experience with required training, including use of force training and then the White House obviously kicked the can down the road back to ice. So Bruyet, 37, told his ex wife, Ashley Bruyet late last year that he had been hired by ice. She said that because of his long history of psychiatric issues that she thought he was having a mental health episode and didn't believe him. She didn't realize he had been telling the truth until this week when videos began circulating online of the moment surrounding the shooting. She told the AP that she spoke to her ex husband in a Facebook audio call and he acknowledged that he had killed Duran Guerrero and their 18 year old daughter. Madison also told the AP that her father called her Wednesday and said that he had shot and killed Duran Guerrero. David and Ashley Bruette were high school sweethearts. They got married in 2007. She divorced him in 2009 because he was physically violent, which began after she got pregnant. He once threw boiling water at her while she was holding their child.
Kit Cabello
Oh my God, come on now.
Misty Winston
Yeah. The abuse continued after she left him. He doesn't appear to have a criminal record in Maine as a check with him. Maine Department of Public Safety return no records but hundreds of family court records obtained by the Augusta District Court Clerk's Office detailed years of allegations of physical and verbal abuse raised by his second ex wife on behalf of herself and his daughters. The ex wife, whom the AP is not identifying because she fears retaliation, alleged that he had stalked and harassed her and physically and verbally abused his daughter, according to multiple requests for temporary protect protection orders. Briet tackled his teenager daughter and smashed spaghetti in her hair and during another outburst he dragged his daughter around the house as she cried. She said he needs counseling or something for his PTSD and depression, which is what she said. For the temporary protective order, he said of course, that she was slandering him. His oldest daughter, Madison Bruyette, said she also witnessed her dad's volatility. Volatility. I watched my dad struggle a lot with a lot of things, she told the ap. She said she came home from school once and he told her that he had been. He told her that he had been sitting on a tree stump with a gun to his head. An immediate relative of David Bruyet, who spoke on the condition that their name not be used, said he was diagnosed with severe bipolar disorder and attention deficit disorder as a child, a diagnosis that Ashley Bruyet confirmed. The immediate relative described him as, quote, extremely mentally ill, end quote, and said he attempted suicide twice at age 12 and was hospitalized multiple times. The relatives said they had been estranged for years after they broke off contact because they feared he would harm them. He did not respond to their outreach this week. He was initially rejected by military recruiters. Growing up. He had an obsession and these are just bits and pieces of this article. It's a very long article from the AP if you want to go read the whole thing in its entirety. But he apparently was obsessed with the military and law enforcement growing up. So he obviously attempted to go into the military. He was initially rejected by military recruiters because, because of his mental health diagnoses. But recruiters encouraged him to go off his medications for a year and reapply, which he did. He was eventually able to enlist. His immediate relative believes Bruyet's time abroad worsened his emotional struggles. Quote, Afghanistan destroyed him, trained him to be a killing monster, a machine. They took someone who was extremely mentally ill and turned him into a killing machine. That's what the military does. So in late 2025, around the time he joined ICE, his ex wife said he left a three minute voicemail mocking her for taking out a restraining order against him. According to the message she shared with the ap, he repeatedly called her, quote, unquote, disgusting and suggested that she and the other women and girls in her, quote, unquote bloodline should die, quote, and all of you who have had your effing. All, all of you should have your effing throats cut. The voicemail said, yeah, you should. Am I threatening that I'm going to do that? Nope. Nope. But I do think that you should have your effing. Do I? I think that you should have your effing throats cut or should have had them cut. Yep. She said she cut off contact with him until Wednesday when his picture began circulating online. So here is a quick Video. Let me make sure I have the right one. This is of the situation, and the wife is going to speak. The ex wife is going to speak here.
Whitney Webb
Back in November, brought up that he had accepted a job with ice. I thought of that. It was just a delusional thing because I'm used to. To him talking crazy, so to speak. So I said, yeah, sure you are, buddy. You know, I didn't realize that he
Misty Winston
was actually working for ICE until yesterday.
Whitney Webb
And I was completely shocked because I'm like, how do you keep getting into these jobs where you're around guns all the time?
Misty Winston
I asked him what was going on.
Whitney Webb
He told me that.
Misty Winston
That I don't need to be answering
Whitney Webb
questions for anybody, that all I needed to know was that it was a justified shooting. Shooting and that he did do it. And he claimed that this man had
Misty Winston
tried to run him over. And I said, I don't see that in anything. And I've watched it from all angles.
Whitney Webb
All I seen is how the car was going in circle after the fact. And then he's like, well, I need you to lie about my character, because this is how. Like, this is.
Misty Winston
What it comes down to is, like, my character.
Whitney Webb
I don't want you talking about any
Misty Winston
of the abuse in our relationship.
Whitney Webb
Like, this is literally about me. Actually, I told him that I was not going to lie for him, that I've waited years to speak my truth.
Misty Winston
I've been silenced long enough, and now
Whitney Webb
I need to come out with everything because a man lost his life.
Kit Cabello
Good.
Whitney Webb
It was abuse, not only to me, but to our daughter. And even being divorced from him, I've dealt with harassing phone calls, threats of him wanting to kill me. I believe that this man was murdered. I believe that. That David's mental health played a part in what happened. I think what happened was he was
Misty Winston
standing there during that operation, had a
Whitney Webb
PTSD moment and hit fight or flight mode.
Misty Winston
And unfortunately, a man lost his life due to it.
Kit Cabello
All right, if I can just weigh in here. I'm very glad because that testimony could be definitely used in the court of law to make sure that he's held accountable. Again, we can't bring back back the dead. Unfortunately, that that man was a father and a pillar to his community and condolences to. To the family that that lost him. But hopefully this evidence and her statements will be used to really describe his character. Because again, one thing you can't do is lie under oath number two. You know, I. Again, each state is different. I do hope that'll be good Enough for the prosecution to at least bring something down here. But again, we're all too familiar with ICE and how it selects its people. It's either bringing in people that are mentally unfit, not physically fit, or have dreams of grandeur. And, you know, when they came here to Chicago, I already knew right off the bat what kind of quality these ICE agents were. When you had that one guy on the bicycle, no weapon in his possession, wearing shorts on a bike, just saying, F ice, F Donald Trump. And what did these ICE agents that are one more imposing tactical armor and weapons do? They run after him, chase after him, trying to detain him. Now, of course, it's like it was, it was funny to see them fail and fall as the guy rides off into the sunset. But that's the caliber of the law enforcement agents that are in ICE right now, even then trying to detain or go after anyone. I mean, these guys are just random. You don't know who you're gonna get because they're so trigger happy.
Misty Winston
They were. So it was such a rapid increase. And that's why I wanted to talk about this, because ICE is, they, they wanted, like, Donald Trump was like, oh, we got to get rid of all these illegal immigrants or whatever. So they just hired any Tom, Dick or Harry off the street. And it didn't matter. Like, we're going to talk about it, some of the, the processes here. So here's. Oh, I did want to play this, though. This is a witness, Daniel Boucher, a witness in the aftermath of Monday's fatal ICE shooting in Maine. So I don't need to read this. I can just let you hear it from him. This is an eyewitness to what happened on the streets there.
Kit Cabello
It's the shooting. I, I witnessed the aftermath and the car coming down and then being hit again by the ICE SUV and the, the victim being moved out, taken out of the vehicle. And I, I heard him say, I tried to stop. ICE agent got out, tried to open the door and had a difficult time, but eventually opened it and pulled the guy out. His face was bloody, his head was bloody. I, I know that he was still cognizant because they told him to calm down, calm down. His girlfriend was, was across the street. I'll never forget that. She was hysterical and crying and sitting on the curb with an EMT and a police officer, I believe, and they walked her away from the scene.
Misty Winston
When you say you'll never forget the
Kit Cabello
images, oh, it's something that's horrific. You never forget that. You never forget the attitude of the ICE officers too. And, and the ICE officer that shot him was in shock. And I talked to him and of course I was emotional and I just let him have it. I said, well, how can you. What do you think of what you did? I made some call. I don't remember exactly what I said. And he looked at me and said he was gonna run me over or something to that effect. And then he was being consoled by another ICE officer. He kind of had his head in his hands at some, at some point trying to talk to him, consoling him. The guy was in shock.
Misty Winston
Why was it important for you to talk to U.S. reporters?
Kit Cabello
Because I feel somebody needs to know what's. What a bystander saw, not what ICE tells you. Because too often ICE says things that
Mark Goodwin
are just are not true.
Kit Cabello
And at least from this is what I saw. Now, whether their version is different, that's up to them. That's what I saw.
Misty Winston
And kudos to this guy because by speaking out, he is genuinely putting himself at risk, because we all know that ICE doesn't like when you tell the truth about what they're doing. So it's important that he is speaking to reporters. And I'm glad that he did that. I can't imagine having to see what he had to see. It's terrible.
Kit Cabello
I would also add on here too. You know, you need people to speak out.
Misty Winston
Yes.
Kit Cabello
Last year we saw two people get shot execution style. And look, I, I have my criticisms for the way the protests are being handled and how ICE has definitely been handling its situation, but when it comes down to the fact where you have u. S. Citizens being mowed down in the street.
Misty Winston
Yeah.
Kit Cabello
You have people being executed and then you have people behind these firearms who are not mentally or physically fit to be in this position of law enforcement.
Misty Winston
Yeah.
Kit Cabello
There is an absolute error where the thing has to be shut down entirely.
Misty Winston
Yes.
Kit Cabello
And, and if, and, and if not, trust me on it, folks. Just because it's happened to immigrants don't mean it won't happen to you.
Misty Winston
Yes. The idea that they're just bringing in people with. And let's talk a little bit about that. Like, I don't. We don't need to get into too much. Much of it, but it does raise questions about the rapid hiring. And this is from the Hartford current. So it's in that area. So in January, homeland security said that it hired 12,000 new officers and agents since the hiring surge began and said thousands of those new officers were already out in the streets assisting with investigations the number includes both deportation officers and agents for Homeland Security Investigations, a separate agency that falls under ice. ICE has said that the majority of new hires are police and military veterans. But evidence has been mounting that applicants with questions, questionable histories were either not fully vetted before they were brought on or were hired in spite of their past. An investigation by the Associated Press earlier this year found. I read that Associated Press article. It's also very long. Please go check it out. Because there's a lot of shenanigans happening where these people are not getting vetted and they're just giving them a gun and putting them on the street. At the time, Homeland Security, ISIS parent agency, would not answer questions about specific hiring decisions. It did say some applicants received, quote, unquote, tentative selection letters and offers to begin working with on a temporary status before they had been subjected to full background checks, which is crazy. It defended its hiring practice, saying it does rigorous vetting. Clearly you do not. The vetting process includes reviewing applicants, criminal history, credit scores, conducting background investigations that include interviewing prior employers and other associates, which can take weeks. ICE also promised signing bonuses up to $50,000, advertised that college degrees were not required, and lowered the age of new recruiting to 18, which is crazy.
Misha
Wow.
Kit Cabello
What could go wrong with that?
Misty Winston
Like a bunch of 18 year olds running around with guns. And like, I, your brain isn't even fully formed until you're 25 and you're gonna give an 18 year old a gun and send them out to go hunt immigrants? What are you doing here? So ICE obviously went on a hiring spree. This is the AP investigation. I just wanted to show you the headline for that. So if you want to go search that out and find it, you can. The AP investigation is incredibly long, very detailed. They go into, into a lot of the hiring practices, the vetting processes, all of that stuff. But it is very clear to me that ICE is not hiring good people. I'm not sure you could, I'm not sure good people would want to work for ice, but they're hiring people, obviously from this situation who have known histories of domestic violence, of mental health issues. And then they're giving them a gun and sending them out onto the street to essentially haunt people. And that's, I mean, that's not going to end, end well, it's clearly not ending well, Kit. It's bad.
Kit Cabello
I, I, I'd go on to say here that, okay, well, we're still in the summer. Don't worry, August is around the corner. And then, you know, because Trump did want to Once again reactivate ice. Save for the fact that this year there was the Epstein files and this wars Iran. He's been distracted that he couldn't enact his full on ICE detainment because he's got all, all the other distractions. But you better believe he's going to try and ramp it up. Even not by the end of this year then mark my words, sometime in 2027 when possibly he's hoping things will calm down, which they won't.
Misty Winston
Yeah, yeah. This is just bad news. And it's very clear that they're not, there are no real vetting processes or if there are, they're clearly not working. And this whole rapid fire hiring of people to go hunt other people is not a good idea if you're, if, if you're going. And I, I, I'm really not interested in getting into a debate over how we handle immigration or how we deal with illegal immigrants or any of that stuff. If you're going to go. And they said that they're only going after bad people. They're not, they're not just going after criminals. I think it's like over 70% of people that they're detaining and deporting don't have a criminal history. And are they here illegally? Maybe. But are they doing anything wrong? No, they're going to work. They're taking care of their family. They're just chilling. So I just, I'm not really interested in having crazy people running around with guns essentially hunting other people for like funsies. That's basically what it amounts to. So I think ICE is, this is, this is a bad look when you have people like this who have, and this is not a, it's not a secret. Right. This is a, this is a guy who had a known history of violence. There were domestic violence claims, there was a protection order against him. Hundreds of stuff in family court. Hundreds of occasions in family court. Like this is not something that. Oh, we just didn't know. It didn't like you should have known. If you did a real background check and you really vetted this guy, you would have known. And now Amanda's dead.
Kit Cabello
But then again too, there's probably the quotas of bringing in numbers because remember, they were offering a lot of money.
Misty Winston
Yes.
Kit Cabello
For people like, you know, debt for.
Misty Winston
They're basically putting bounties on people's heads, Kit. It's crazy.
Kit Cabello
And, and anyone that says, well, they're just going after immigrants. Yeah. Until the flocks, until, until the flock surveillance cameras are set up and Everything's. Then everyone's fair game.
Misha
Yeah.
Misty Winston
Yes.
Kit Cabello
They're gonna be hunting y' all down. So this.
Misty Winston
But I don't even care. The whole. Oh, where they're just going after immigrants. Okay, guess what? Immigrants are humans. I don't want humans to be hunted. That's not a thing I'm interested in having in the United States of America. America or anywhere. That's crazy work. And again, there's. If you have issues with immigrants and you want to. There's ways to go about doing that that don't involve shooting and killing innocent people. I mean, I think we could all agree on that. There's better ways to go about it. Giving crazy people guns and sending them out to hunt other humans. It's not a good way to do it, I don't think. I mean, maybe it's just me. I don't know.
Kit Cabello
I agree. Okay, then agree. Yeah.
Misty Winston
I think that's what we have, kid. I think that's all we got. Do you want to tell everybody where they can find you and Hard Lens Media and all the stuff you have going on?
Kit Cabello
Absolutely. Well, please support Hard Lens Media. We are on YouTube X Rumble Kick Patreon. All support is greatly appreciated. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9am Central is when Hard Lens Media goes live. Then we have Sunday brunch at 10am Central, and then after the Sunday brunch show, if you're a patron show, get to hang out with me. You know, get to watch some cool videos, talk, chat, all that good stuff off and working on a few other projects and hopefully to get them to come to fruition. And I want to thank everyone for the kind words and solidarity and huge shout out for Jimmy's team for having me on here. And it's really great to be your co pilot sidekick. Thanks for doing it for this awesome event. I hope to do it again in the. In the near future, and it's just always a pleasure. So again, YouTube Rumble Kick x 9am Central, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and of course, Sunday brunch, 10am so tune in and just appreciate all the support. So please give a like. Because that Jack Buddhist censorship is so much fun.
Whitney Webb
Yeah.
Misty Winston
So cozy.
Whitney Webb
Thanks, Kit.
Misty Winston
I appreciate you, my friend. It was good to see you. It's been too long. So I appreciate you coming in to be my plucky sidekick today.
Kit Cabello
Absolutely. Gators representing the chat.
Misty Winston
All right, guys, that's it for me. I think Misha's gonna come in and read some super chats and then you're done with. You don't have to do deal with me anymore.
Misha
Well, thank you, Misty, for. Thank you, Misty and Kit, you. You two were a very fun pair.
Misty Winston
Thank you.
Misha
We'll see you. We'll see you next time. I do have some chats, everybody, so stick around if you. If you care. But thank you so much, Misty. It was great having you. All right, Vienticus Prime. We've only got, I don't know, 8. Vienticus Prime. You know, child trafficking really brings Democrats and Republicans closer to close together because you have to kind of be close together to. Before to perform dp. I don't. I. I don't know what DP is at the moment, and I don't even know if I need to know. Vantage Prime. Instead of calling them Flock cameras, let's call them what they really are. Epstein's Eyes. Ivy Cat. Much love to all the gators in the chat. All right, so that has something to do with Kit. I don't. Look, I don't know what any. Anything means. Vantage is prime. It's easier and cheaper to create a fake criminal than to catch a real one. The criminal you create won't bribe you to stay free. Vantage is prime again. This is the Vantage Prime Hour. The point of having eyes everywhere isn't to stop crime, it's to protect it. You don't need to hide in the shadows when you can blind people with the light. It's. It's VP again. People will say you shouldn't worry if you don't have anything to hide. Well, a mouse has nothing to hide either, until there's a snake looking down on it. Oh, I like that one. Vienticus. Let's sing it to the tune of the Holland Oat song. Epstein's eyes are watching you. I know. Obviously, I know the song, but for. For whatever reason, I just have the these eyes cry every night for you tune in my head so I'm not getting hollow notes. And this might be. This is the end. Venticus Prime. It's the Heath Heresy. The TEU version of the Horus Heresy. If you know, you know that that's the first time I got that acronym correct without help from.
Misty Winston
From the.
Misha
My own team. Okay, everybody, that's it. That's the show. We'll be back on Monday, 3pM Pacific, with host Garland Nixon. That's it. That's our show. Thanks, everybody. Bye.
Host: Misty Winston (guest hosting for Jimmy Dore)
Guests: Whitney Webb (Unlimited Hangout), Mark Goodwin (Bitcoin Magazine, author), later joined by Kit Cabello (Hard Lens Media)
This episode dives deep into the intersections of surveillance, prediction markets, government power, and political narrative manipulation. Misty Winston opens with investigative journalist Whitney Webb and Bitcoin expert Mark Goodwin to dissect their extensive exposé on Polymarket—an exploding prediction market with deep ties to both U.S. and Israeli intelligence circles. The episode then pivots to current political narratives, the weaponization of "ChinaGate" by Trump, and the broader implications of expanding technocratic surveillance (with frequent references to Flock ALPR cameras and ICE abuses). Joined in the second half by Kit Cabello, Misty and Kit discuss how public manipulation, surveillance, and political scapegoating transcend party lines—and why the left/right divide is used as a governing tool.
[01:27 – 55:06]
"Robin Hanson is probably the most important figure that we can thank for the current iteration of prediction market mania that we see today."
"This whole model is not new... Something starting in DARPA and then getting spread out into the private sector. The Napsterization model... We propose that that's what they did with Augur and Poly Market."
"Coplin had all these ties to prominent VCs and to prominent crypto companies that are tied to the Prime Minister of Israel's family."
"The goal is to have this be a key part of a new system of governance, replacing our current form of governance whereby whatever the Polymarket or the prediction market outcome is... will be used to decide policy instead of elections."
[18:02 – 104:54, 97:01]
"Leftists are all about free speech until they want to shut somebody on the right up and vice versa."
"They're all coming together—State Department, local law enforcement, intelligence—to identify, disrupt, debank lefties... If this isn't about speech, what have they done?"
"Let's not pretend our government is above false flag operations... They're pushing an agenda and they'll do it in any manner they see fit."
[59:51 – 72:41]
"He's really doing ChinaGate, guys! His very own RussiaGate. We need new script writers. So unoriginal... How do you say 'comrade' in Chinese now?"
"WikiLeaks released Marble—the CIA's way to fake attribution, to make it look like foreign actors hacked a system."
[74:19 – 96:00]
"...He clearly had connections to the highest levels of American/Israeli intelligence."
"They're trying to essentially victim blame... acting as if now they're the bad guy."
[128:12 – 156:08]
"I call it climate change. When you see a flock camera going down, it's climate change. The wind pressure just knocked it over."
"Providing information is terrorism, really? We get to know everything about you, but if you want to know anything about their company, you’re a terrorist."
[177:09 – 195:57]
This episode weaves together dense, interconnected themes: the conversion of classified government projects into private tech behemoths; prediction markets (Polymarket) as both mechanism and metaphor for post-democratic “governance”; bipartisan hypocrisy about dissent and surveillance; and the normalization of full-spectrum digital monitoring. Webb and Goodwin's research peels away the “startup” hype to reveal a fusion of Silicon Valley, Israeli intelligence, and US national security interests behind these platforms. Throughout, Misty, Kit, and guests challenge the tribal scripts handed down by the political class—reminding listeners that real threat comes from above, not across the street.
