America's Voice Live starts now. And welcome to America's Voice Live. I'm Steve groot. It's Wednesday, the 22nd of July, the year of our Lord 2026. Let's get to the day's top stories. As always, thank you for joining me here in REAL America's Voice. We appreciate your patronage. President Trump is in Marietta, Georgia today at Wheeler High School where he is expected to deliver remarks regarding the Trump accounts and the future of young Americans. I'll bring you full coverage when that happens. Also, the Trump administration announcing it is pausing more than a billion dollars in Medicaid payments to California and Minnesota while it investigates alleged fraud and compliance concerns. Senator Ron Johnson will be joining me in a few minutes. Be sure to stay tuned for that. As I said, President Trump in Georgia today where he'll deliver remarks at Wheeler High School on his new Trump Accounts initiative, a program designed to give American children a financial head start with tax advantaged investment accounts. The president also expected to highlight what the White House says are signs of a strengthening economy, pointing to falling inflation, stronger job numbers, rising wages and resilient consumer spending as evidence that his economic agenda is delivering results. Despite months predictions that the economy would fall apart, many of the latest indicators continue to show strength. Joining me to discuss from Marietta, Georgia is RAV congressional correspondent Neil McCabe. Neal, nice to have you today. Go ahead and set the stage for us there in Georgia.

Hey, Steve, it's a carnival like atmosphere here. This, this Wheeler High School gym basketball court is completely packed out. There are people standing in the aisles. They're packed up against the walls, against the railings. People are just craving the opportunity to see and hear from President Donald J. Trump. And of course, he's got a very important message when he talks about the Trump accounts. And so that's something that Scott Besson just a few minutes ago was touting. Also, Small Business Administration or administration administrator Kelly Loeffler was also talking about it. It's, it's kind of a hyped up thing here. And people are very excited about it

Steve Gurik

and well, they should be. You run the numbers on those Trump accounts. If you put in the $90,000, the legal limit between the time a child's born until they're 18 years of age and never put another nickel in it, it's worth $7 million when they're 65 years of age. It's called compound interest. It's a math lesson for the kids at the high school today and a good one because they will be vested in the American economy, right?

Neil McCabe

Yeah, unfortunately, a new car will cost a half a million dollars. But that's another story, Steve. You know, one of the things that the, the president is going to talk about is how these kids are going to be vested. And so every child who's born during the 47 term will have a thousand dollars deposited in their account automatically. So whether they want to be in or not, they're in, they're enrolled and they're going to have that account and they're going to watch it and they're going to be economically invested in the economy, but they'll also become emotionally invested in the economy and they'll have some skin in the game. Of course, the president's got some other things on his mind. He's coming from that dignified transfer in Dover. And of course, the House is voting on the Pentagon budget tonight. And the House leadership has said, the Republican leadership has said they will attach the House version of the Save America act to that Pentagon budget that they will send on to the Senate.

Steve Gurik

Yeah. One other thing, obviously in Georgia, one of the key swing states the last two elections for president, but also the state for a critical Senate race where Donald Trump hopes to flip a seat red if the Republicans have a good evening, that'll probably be on his mind as well, don't you think?

Neil McCabe

Yeah. Senator Jonathan Ossett, he bear it's so crazy what was happening in 2020 that David Perdue did not succeed in getting 50% which forced the runoff. I think if memory serves me proper, he got something like 49.7% of the vote and in the runoff he lost to Osak. And so that, that it's like. Well, it's not only people are trying to get past 2020, Steve, people, the Republican Party here are trying to get past Brian Kemp and everything that Brian Kemp stood for, everything that Brian Kemp did to the Republican Party to make it that purple state. And you can feel the energy here as people are reclaiming this state for maga.

Yeah, I can see the size of the crowd there, Neil. Obviously, like you said, a circus like atmosphere because they want to see the president. And you know, the president's going to hold a midterm Republican convention September 9th and 10th. He's taking this message not just to Georgia, but he's going to take it to the Republicans, something that's not been done before. That's critical. Real quickly, last word to you.

Neil McCabe

Yeah. The big deal in a midterm is going to be turnout. The Republican, excuse me, the White House communications sort of political team is saying that fraud is going to be or anti fraud is going to be the theme going into the midterms. And that's what you heard from Secretary of Treasury Scott Bessen, that's what you heard today from Kelly Loeffler is the attack on fraud. And because the U.S. attorneys in blue states are really chosen by the Democratic senators. And that's done in collusion with Majority Leader John Thune and the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Chuck Grassley. So these are not mega prosecutors in these blue states. And so that's why these anti fraud investigations in these blue states had to be pulled up to main justice and you literally had to create a new office for an assistant attorney general just to focus on this fraud because those blue state prosecutors refused to go after it. And so that's going to be a theme that the president's going to touch upon. We're probably going to hear about the war in Iran and some other things too. But these, this is sort of home court advantage here. Wheeler High School and Marietta, this crowd is completely geeked up, Steve, to see and hear from the president.

Kennedy Jr. And Dr. Mehmet Oz announced that the Trump administration is pausing more than a billion dollars in Medicaid payments to count California and Minnesota due to suspected fraud and non compliance. This is not some vague promise, this is action. Real immediate accountability. Join me to discuss it is the US Senator for the state of Wisconsin and newly appointed budget chair Ron Johnson. Senator, nice to see you today.

Well Steve, it's good to see Secretary Kennedy take that action, isn't is?

Look, we have seen the fraud. It started in Minnesota, but that was just the first pulling back of the curtain. We've seen it in California and let's be honest sir, I'm sure it exists in your state of Wisconsin, my state of Michigan and places all over this country. If we could control the fraud in this country, we could save the taxpayers billions of dollars and actually put it to work for things we need.

Senator Ron Johnson

Fraud is rampant. It is endemic. The lowest estimate is by GAO at 250 billion DOL dollars a year. We had a CEO from LexisNexis. I didn't realize this kind of research, they put the figure at a trillion dollars per year and we went from 4.4 trillion prior to the pandemic in spending to 7.5 trillion. Don't tell me the federal budget is just rife with fraud. Again, this just tip of the iceberg. And the only way to prevent it really is to, is to do what they're doing. Suspend payment. The Department of Justice, last time I looked, they actually list prosecutions, they are prosecuting people. But it's something like about four and a half billion dollars out of a trillion. Okay, when Dr. Oz stopped suspended payments to 400 hospice centers in Los Angeles, I mean Los Angeles had a third of all hospice centers in the.

A third.

Senator Ron Johnson

So obviously these are fraudulent. He stopped payment to 400. Not one of them complained. So no, it should be the responsibility of these states to provide the documentation. They should be checking eligibility. One of the ways of doing it by the way, is to make sure they have skin in the game that if we provide a dollar, they got to be providing a dollar, something like that. What's wrong with Medicaid is Obamacare. The Obamacare expansion, allowing single able bodied childless adults, working age adults to get on Medicaid in order to entice them to do it. For every dollar the state spends on a single able bodied working age childless adult, the federal government kicks in nine bucks. We kick in $1.33 for a disabled child. I mean, how absurd is that? And unfortunately when we Were debating the one big beautiful bill. Rick Scott had a great amendment. You know, don't take anybody off Medicaid. Don't take away that nine to one match when people currently signed up on that basis. But stop increasing. You know, if you want, if you want to as a state cover able bodied, single, single, working age adults, do it at the same rate that we pay disabled children. A buck 33 for every dollar the state spends. So you gotta have states with skin in the game. So they are actually checking eligibility rather than just free federal money. So they give it away.

Steve Gurik

Right. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. They say in medicine. In this case, it's much easier to stop the fraud if you don't ever send the money than try to claw that money back after the fact. And it's not just blue states. We just saw a man arrested. He defrauded Medicare out of the state of Florida. $547 million in just a three year span. But the FBI caught up with him in the Middle East. We need more accountability like this. We need to see people in handcuffs, real charges brought and real penalties dished out, don't we?

Senator Ron Johnson

Yeah. But what's unfortunate, Senator Paul, Chairman Paul had a great hearing in Hisac and he had Nick Shirley, he had James o', Keefe, had Pogle. It's a good organization. That was a Democrat witness, but it's a good organization. Only the ranking member, Peter showed up basically to denigrate Nick Shirley in his opening statement. Then he left. Not another Democrat came to that hearing to listen to testimony, to ask questions. They're simply not interested in fraud. They're certainly not interested in working with Republicans to reduce or prevent fraud. There's some very common sense things that won't hurt anybody who needs, needs the benefits. You know, Republicans don't want to take benefits away from people who are very compassionate. We want to help people who can't help themselves. We want to help, can help themselves, but we don't want to help the fraudsters. In that hearing. By the way, in California they proposed a law called the Stop the Nick Shirley Act. In hearing I said we really ought to call it is the Medicaid Fraudster Protection act, because that's what it is. So California literally was trying to pass a law or is trying to pass a law to protect Medicaid fraudsters and stop Nick Shirley, his independent journalism that really has opened up the window all this and I think made a lot of this fraud prevention possible.

Steve Gurik

It's important. And speaking of fraud prevention The President last Thursday in a primetime address, talked about voting fraud. Talk about common sense here, Senator. One of his biggest and loudest critics was the Governor of New Jersey mocking him, Mikey Sherrill. And then yesterday she had to come out and admit that more than 6,000 non citizens are on the voting rolls in New Jersey. Hundreds of cast ballots. And some say it's actually much larger than that in New Jersey and elsewhere. Why will the Democrats on Capitol Hill, they're about the only people opposed to the Save America Act. Voter id, proof of citizenship, simple stuff. And then we see what happened in New Jersey. It's proof positive, isn't it, that voter fraud from non citizens goes on in this country every day.

Senator Ron Johnson

Yeah. And not one Democrat here in Washington will vote for voter integrity for those simple measures to restore confidence in our elections. This is simply unsustainable. We have half Americans, because of Hillary Clinton's election denial, not thinking the 2016 result was legitimate. Then fast forward 2020 with all the irregulars of 2020, which have not been thoroughly investigated. Now you got the other half not believing that's a legitimate result. It's unsustainable. We need to restore confidence in our election system so that no matter who wins, everybody realizes that's a fair result. Maybe don't like it, but it's fair. That's not the point we're at in this country right now. And the only way to solve it is election integrity measures, put controls. You know, the Baker Carter Commission basically said that absentee balloting is probably the one area of elections that's more likely to have fraud occur in. And yet we doubled absentee ballots. And that's what all Democrats want to do. Mail in ballots, automatic registration again. They want to make it easy to cheat. And they will continue to vote against any election integrity measure even though 75, 80% of the American people want it.

They do want it. It's an 8020 issue in this country. Including Democrats, 70% support voter ID. It's common sense, Senator. But my other questions go to the intelligence community that apparently kept this information out of the Presidential daily briefing to keep Donald Trump in the dark about things like Chinese intervention into voter rolls. 220 million Americans voting files were obtained and used to whatever extent by the Chinese, and not just the stuff that's available publicly. Much deeper than that. I mean, these are serious problems. But now the declassified documents from the President were vetted by the intelligence community. They were released for anybody to see. And yet Democrats, they don't want to look in Fact, the big networks don't even want to air it because they have been part and parcel and partners in crime with these people playing these games, have they not?

Senator Ron Johnson

Yeah, the mainstream media is complicit in all this. They're fellow travelers. They're radical leftists themselves. So Democrats can get away with voting against election integrity measures with impunity. They're never held accountable. But I think really, one of the most shocking revelations of President Trump's speech was the fact that the intelligence community was literally hiding things from the president. You had one FBI agent, by the way, involved in the unsolicited briefing of Chuck Grassley and I to throw us off the trail of the Hunter Biden laptop or just that whole investigation, you know, basically make the comment that she's running a shadow government within the FBI. So, no, these are deep state actors. They know how to sabotage the efforts of a Republican president. They look at a Republican president and go, this too shall pass. We'll wait him out, deny him his ability to govern the way he was elected to govern.

Yeah. And one last thing about bad actors in the deep state. I'd be remiss if I didn't ask you about Jack SWEITH Spying on 44 members of Congress, sir, including yourself. I mean, this is absolutely outrageous that the intelligence community openly undermining the sitting president of the United States. Spying. Jack Smith was on sitting members of Congress and the United States Senate, and yet nobody's held accountable. That's what outrages a lot of folks.

Senator Ron Johnson

Well, I hope this time Jack Smith will, because he blatantly lied to Congress. When they asked him, did you. Did your investigation look at text messages from members of Congress? He said, no, categorically no. He did. You know, they had the filter team set up. All they looked at was attorney client privilege. Apparently never even asked the question, is there scooping up telephone records and actual texts from members of Congress to go, maybe this is a separation and power issue. Maybe this is protected by speech and debate clause. I mean, the investigators themselves should have been asking that question. Again, this was. Jack Smith was really running a rogue operation there. A complete political hack destined. I mean, he was absolutely dedicated to ruining President Trump, engaged in lawfare against him.

Last question, Senator. Midterms not too far away. There's going to be a midterm convention in Texas in September 9th and 10th, I believe, for Republicans to get on the same page and talk about the things that matter to the American people. Are the American people going to reward radical socialists across this country, or are you feeling Better because of all these candidates that are preaching the centralized industry, taking away police, closing prisons, and the list goes on. Your prediction for the midterms, sir?

Senator Ron Johnson

Well, I sure hope Americans don't elect the radical leftists, but I'm highly concerned this is not a good sign that these people can take their mask off, let's say Democrats. A lot of them are communist socialists already, but they always run like they're moderates. Then they govern as radical leftists now because we've indoctrinated our children in these indoctrination universities. Now, socialism is acceptable, even though we know after 100 years of history, no socialism, Communism results in tyrannies that murder tens of millions of their citizens, destroy economies, destroy nations. How could this possibly. How could anybody vote for that? Well, it's because, again, the left has infiltrated our colleges and universities, K through 12, our news media. And so this is becoming popular. This is a very dangerous moment for America.

It's a serious threat that cannot be taken lightly, I think is a fair way to put it. Senator, greatly appreciate seeing you, as always. Thank you, my friend.

America's family farms have been built through the generations. Generations of hard work, sacrifice and stewardship. But. But some experts warn that Washington could put that legacy at risk. Further, a proposal to tax unrealized capital gains could force farmers to pay tax on land they haven't sold simply because it has increased in value, like all land has over time. That could leave family farms with no choice but to sell out just to pay the irs, putting America's agricultural heritage in jeopardy even further. Joining me to discuss is the CEO of the alliance for IRS Accountability and former Senate Chief of Staff Chuck Flynn. Chuck, nice to see you today.

Look, this is right up the same alley as the death tax because oftentimes farms are land rich but cash poor. And what happens is when there's a death in the family, they have to liquidate the land to pay the tax bill to the irs. And it destroys family farms and more. It's a terrible thing, isn't is Steve?

Chuck Flynn

And farmers will be one of the hardest hit groups from an unrealized gains tax because it's a paper tax. You're being taxed on money that you have not even made yet. And the only way that they can satisfy deficiency from the IRS is to go ahead and to sell assets. And 82% of farm assets, according to the American Farm Bureau, are tied up in land. So they're going to have to sell off their farm in order to satisfy a debt. Imagine you've got a farmer in Iowa and they bought their land in the 50s and it was maybe worth 50,000. Now it's worth $5 million or perhaps more. That's how they're going to have to satisfy the debt. They can't liquidate stock like a public trade, a publicly traded company.

Steve Gurik

That's right. And that's the problem with an estate tax. In large part, it destroys not just family farms, but family businesses, family legacies, family heritage. It destroys the very fabric of America because it is a regressive tax on real estate or property or real property. Can we stop this unrealized gains tax from going forward?

Chuck Flynn

Well, the Supreme Court, there are four justices that have said in an opinion that they question the constitutionality of it. So it may come down to, if they do implement this at some point, can you challenge it? I'd like to see Congress just go ahead and pass something that says, hey, you know what? This is illegal. That's what they should do. And that's the point of all this, Steve, is that people need to understand the threat is not later. The threat is now. They've already got bills in Congress to go ahead and do this very thing. They're positioned as wealth taxes. But 63% of new IRS audits in 2023, they hit the middle class. And when I say that, I have to be careful because look at all the fake news back there. They will correct me. They will say, he said he earned more. If I didn't earn, if I was two votes short, they would say, he's lying, he's lying. They are sick individuals. They're the fake news. But I have to be careful. No, we weren't. We had more votes than any candidate in the history of this great state. And I'm very proud. I love Georgia. I've always loved and every day since, I've been fighting for the people of Georgia like no president has ever fought before. And you're doing well too. We're going to keep it that way. And 18 months ago, you were in trouble. Our country was in trouble. Frankly, it was a catastrophe. What was happening. Sleepy Joe Biden and the radical left Democrats. They're Democrats. D U M Democrats created the worst inflation in 48 years. Scott Besant, was it the worst inflation in 48. Now, if Scott doesn't have credibility, nobody does. Okay? He said it's the worst. And it was. Jackson going to be your next governor right here. Two years ago, our country was dead. And now we're the hottest country anywhere in the world. Respected by everybody all over the world. The hottest. And we're respected. Like I say, we respected. Maybe like never before. When I took office, we inherited the worst border in U.S. history. It was an open wound. It was an open sieve. We quickly turned it into the most secure border in the history of our country. Within two months. And numbers were just released by the Democrats that In the past 14 months a historic record of zero illegal aliens have been admitted into the United States. And now our crime numbers are among the lowest they've ever been. It's plummeting downward and nobody's ever seen anything like it. Nationwide, crime has been the lowest numbers that we've had in many, many decades. Last year we achieved the largest drop in the murder rate ever recorded to the lowest level in 125 years. That's since 1900. That's before my father was born. My father. Before my father was born. Think of it. From the year 1900, lowest murder rate we can. And that's despite the fact that we had millions of people poured into our country who were in Many cases, very, very dangerous people. We cut the flow of fentanyl across our border by 67%. And drugs coming in by ocean, sea, by water was cut 97%. We're trying to figure out who the 3% are because they are among the bravest people anywhere in the world. You've seen that. They are the bravest people in history. I believe we're making the largest ever investment in the United States armed forces. And we've got the strongest and most powerful military anywhere in the world by far. There's nobody close. And I built it during my first term. I built our military. And as you know, they stupidly gave a lot of it away, but actually it was a lot, but it was small compared to what we built. But they gave a lot of it away to the Taliban, to Afghanistan. They gave it away.

Venezuela, which is now working with us to produce millions and millions of barrels of oil. We're getting along great with them one day, and we've already paid for that operation many, many times over. We're taking tremendous amounts of oil, and they're taking tremendous amounts of oil. It's a partnership, in a sense. They're doing a great job. We're working together. And millions of barrels of oil is going to Houston and Louisiana, coming to you indirectly after it's refined. They're refining it there. But millions and millions of barrels of oil. And also Venezuela is doing better than they've ever done before, too. The big oil companies are going in and they're signing up. We have Chris Wright working on it, Doug Burgum working on it, Scott is working on them. And it's been incredible, actually. What it's got serious oil. In fact, if you combine US and Venezuela, we have about 62% of the world's oil market. So we don't need straits, we don't need anything. We don't need the hormone street. But we do it because we have to do it because we cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon. It's very. So we're likewise winning in the Islamic Republic of Iran. And we're ensuring that they will never ever be able to do to us what they've done to so many. You know, they've killed 52,000 plus protesters. People that were protesting have been killed 52,000 over the last four months. Nobody wants to talk about the fake news back there, never mentions it. And I just left Dover Air Force Base, which is an incredible place, but oftentimes very sad because that's when they bring the bodies of our great heroes, our great patriots, warriors. They bring them back to Dover. And I've been there many times before. This was in particular something very sad. I attended the dignified transfer ceremony for four great US service members killed in the conflict with Iran. Say returned to American soil at Dover. And one of the families happened to be traveling to Georgia. Beautiful family, beautiful wife and husband and brother in law. And I said, I'm going to Georgia too. Where are you going? She said, well, after this, sir, they lost their beautiful son. We're going to Georgia. I said, so if you want, I'll give you a ride on Air Force One. And they said, wow, wow. So today I then said, they're on Air Force One and it's quite nice, I must say. And they said, wow, this is something. Thank you so much. But they're heartbroken. You know, they're heartbroken, heartbroken, but they couldn't believe it. And they live very close to here. They live minutes away. And we're here today and I said to them, celebrating the memory of their beautiful. This was a beautiful son. You know, I read when I go to Dover, I read charts on all of the young people and some are unbelievable, some were a little bit, you know, they got a little bit of a little, couple of little bad things put in. This is a son who was like a flawless, perfect person. Beautiful, beautiful son. Handsome in every way, brilliant, respected by everybody. This, his sheet read so beautifully. And I told them that their beloved son, and it's his name was Lieutenant Tyler Feehan. And he was a person that was going all the way. He was going to be a general. He would have been a general very quickly. He was heading in that path. But I just want to thank Tyler's mother, Sherry, his father Stephen, and his uncle David. Great people. I got to know him a little bit on the plane and standing there watching this sight, which is, oh, it's very, very tough to, very tough to watch, to be honest with you. Very tough. I think it's the toughest thing I do, if anything, I do, I do all this stuff But I think it's the toughest thing I do. They're going to be building the largest plant anywhere in the world. They're all coming back. They're all leaving Canada. Canada. They're leaving Mexico. They're coming in from Germany and Japan and South Korea. They're coming in from all over. And people that have been doing this, people like Scott and others that have been doing this for a long time, they've never seen anything like it. I don't think you've ever seen anything like it, McGee. Have you? You haven't seen anything. He's doing such a great job. In four long years of the sleepy Joe Biden administration, they got less than $1 trillion of new investment in our country in four years. Much less than $1 trillion. In less than two years. Much less than two years, actually. In fact, at the end of the first year, but less than two years. In my administration, we've secured more than $19.2 trillion in new investment from all over the world. So think of that. So in one year, they did much less than $1 trillion of investment. We will lose in this country, I'll tell you. And the welfare. You see all the theft that's going on. Guys are stealing $100 million. Some guy from the street steals $100 million. It's horrible. The welfare was going through the roof. The costs were going through the roof. It was a disaster taking place. But think of it. So they did less than 1 trillion in one full year. In four years, they did less. Think of this. In four years, they did LESS than $1 trillion. We did 19.2 in 15 months. Think of that. I mean, The pharmaceutical company. We're bringing our food. We learned that through Covid. We're bringing the pharmaceuticals back. But the big pharmaceutical company, UCB is investing $2 billion to build its first ever American manufacturing plant right here in Gwinnett, Georgia. Gwinnett. Look at the front row. Joe's. I love these people. I love these people. I think there are about 283. I don't know what the hell they do. I think they make a lot of money, too. I'm hearing they're very rich. They follow us. It's a rock concert, right? You have a good time, right? Thank you. They've been with me right from the beginning. How many have you done so far, do you think? 4, 5, 6? Close to a thousand. It might be. You think he's getting. It might be. Well, we love you. Thank you very much. We love you guys. Thank you. We have groups. We have a group from. I don't know if they're here, but we have a group from North Carolina. Women, beautiful women. They follow us. And they're at 218, I think 219. They come. And I always say, what the hell are your husband saying about this? This is crazy. Beautiful women. I think they're sort of a wealthy family. I don't know what the hell's going on with them. But, you know, like the front row. Joe's is good. We have a lot of those groups. They're just great. They've been with us right from the beginning. And you know why they're with us? Because they love our country. That's why they're with us. It's really why they're with us. So Japan is investing $600 million in we're cutting edge diamond processing facility. As you probably read this morning in your state. 600 million Yamaha Motors is building its brand new US headquarters in Kennesaw. And more money is being invested in the United States right now than at any time in the history of our country. And Americans are working today more so than ever before. We have more jobs today than we've ever had. And it's not even close. More people are working now than at any time in the history of our country. And the stock market has said. And that's what this skirmish we have going on, I call it a skirmish. This is with this skirmish we have with the Islamic Republic of Iran. And I call it that because, let me tell you, they're getting hit so hard and they want to make a deal. But I say they're not ready to make a deal. Because every time they make a deal, they want to change it and everything. They're not ready. They'll be ready very soon. And this is despite this. It's going on. The stock market has hit 73 all time highs since the election. Think of that. And the typical American's 401k is up by $34,000, setting records day after day. It's up by numbers that have never been seen before. So your 401ks, they always say, oh, the stock market. Stock market is very important. But I have people coming up to me that have 401ks. They said, you know, I was a disaster. My family wouldn't talk to me. They thought I was a total loser. And now I'm like the one guy said, I feel like Warren Buffett. No, the markets are right through the roof. And it's a beautiful thing to watch, frankly. It's beautiful. It's brought families together. I mean, I told the story about a policeman in New York City. He said, my wife was really down on.

Nice, friendly press conference. You know, they treat me so nicely. They used the word. First time I heard. It was a word, you know, made up by the Democrats. They used the word time I heard it. It was a word, you know, made up by the Democrats. Affordability, they said, affordability. I said, I've been here one day. Don't worry, I'll take care of it. And we're taking care of it. You know, we're taking good care of it. They had the highest prices. They had the highest prices, in fact, with the eggs. You know, we have an Easter egg hunt like a few months after this. And they said, don't order eggs, sir, because they're so expensive. Used plastic eggs. They wanted me to give the kids. I said, nope, we're going to get it done. We did a great job. Our Secretary of agriculture did a great job. And we got. The price now of eggs is lower than it was when we started, right? It's going to be tumbling down. It was three weeks ago. They thought we had a deal. I said, I don't think we have a deal with these guys. They break every deal they make. But I said, you know, but people thought, the geniuses on Wall street, they came down, really down, and goes back up a little bit, but it's going to come down maybe lower than when we even started. But just give me a little time. I always say, give me a little. I said to the farmers, give me a little time. And look how we're doing with the farmers, what's going on with the farms and everything. This country is rocking and rolling. So every day we're fighting to put more money back in the pockets of the hard work, working American families. And that's why with the help of our incredible Republican majorities in Congress, we've done so much. I proudly signed the great big beautiful bill delivering the largest tax cuts in American history. Largest in American history. And we did big ones first. You know, we had the best economy in history in my first term. A lot of people don't because we had a Covid period, went all over the world and we did a great job where they got no credit for it. We did Operation Warp Speed. And I'll tell you, we did a great job, but we got very little credit for it. We should have been given big credit, but we got credit for everything else. And we had the best economy. But this economy is ready to blow everything away ever of any country. There's never been anything like what's happening in the United States of America right now. So I just want you to remember that if you're paying a little bit more, a lot of it's come down now. We got it coming down very rapidly, actually. Look at the number just released. But it really, you know, we inherited something from Biden and we're giving it back to you. Thousands and thousands of dollars each family we gave it to. You Also remember forgetting about prices. And I don't want to forget about it. I would never leave a sentence like that because they'll say, he said forget about prices. He said, despite anything you see, we gave you no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, no tax on Social Security. For our great seniors, We gave you something that nobody ever thought of. This, this was my idea. I said give people a deduction if they buy a car, only that's made in America. Give them a deduction. They go out, borrow money, they're out allowed to get a deduction. But this past filing season, 130,000 tipped workers right here.
