Hey folks, I just wanted to give you a brief weekend update here because there's a lot of action over this weekend in world news. The biggest news of course, the two American servicemen were killed in Jordan after an Iranian strike on an American base in Jordan. According to CentCom, two US service members in Jordan were killed in action as CENTCOM and partner forces defended against Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks. One service member is currently missing and four American service members were medically evacuated to Jordanian hospitals. There's great suspicion here that the Russians and the Chinese have been using their targeting technology to help out Iran. Just another piece of evidence that China is in fact not a geopolitical opponent. They are in fact an enemy. Russia, again is helping out our enemies in pretty much every conflict, or they are a direct enemy in many conflicts. The fact is, the world is filled with nefarious powers, people who really, really, really do not like us, people who are desperate to reduce America's power in the world. China, Russia, Iran, they're an axis of powers that are seeking to do precisely this. Now, there is something fascinating beyond obviously, the tragedy of American service members being killed. It's obviously terrible. Every loss of American is, is horrendous. And it does raise the question as to what our overall strategy is. Because anytime you suffer losses, you're going to have to evaluate what our strategy is. The Trump administration is striking back even harder. According to Centcom, yesterday at 6pm Eastern, U.S. forces began launching new airstrikes against Iran at the Commander in Chief's direction. The strikes are designed to further degrade Iran's ability to threaten commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and swiftly punish IRGC forces. And CENTCOM posted a bunch of footage of the strikes. President Trump told News Nation that the deaths were, quote, very sad. We hate to see it happen. It's a service. It's in service to our country, but we're never allowing Iran to have a nuclear weapon. All right, so as I've said, the fact is that President Trump wants an end game here that achieves the actual goals for which the United States began this operation. Ending their nuclear capacity in Iran, ending their ballistic missile capacity, destroying their army, destroying their navy, and right now, ending their capacity to recover. Their economy is basically in its death knells. The economy is now running 2 million rial to the American dollar, which is a far cry from the 70,000 or so real that it was running way back at the end of last year. Not only that, they no longer have the capacity to output their oil, and it seems they are, in fact losing control gradually of the Strait of Hormuz as we continue to degrade their capacity to rearm along the north shore of the Strait of Hormuz. According to the Wall Street Journal, by the way, it. It was that gap in time, the, the ceasefire and the MOU period of time that allowed Iran to rearm. According to the Wall Street Journal, Iran took advantage of the roughly one month period between mid June and mid July when the United States lifted its blockade on Iranian oil to ship out roughly 70 million barrels of oil worth the total of 5 or 6 billion dollars. But their economy is on its last legs. Now. There is, as I say, something very interesting about what Iran is doing strategically here. So Iran is hitting in Bahrain, they're hitting in Qatar, they're hitting in uae, they're hitting in Jordan. There's only one place that they are not hitting. You may Notice. And that place, of course, is Israel. Israel was our partner in this effort from the get go. Why exactly is Iran not hitting Israel? And the answer is because if Iran hits Israel, Israel is going to take down the regime in all likelihood. If they hit Israel, Israel is not going to stop. Israel will use that as the opportunity to finish the job. And Iran knows this. That is why they're striking everywhere else in the Middle east, but not Israel. And this bears a lesson, by the way, for the United States and for our allies. Israel has made very, very clear that if Iran strikes inside Israel, Israel will go at them and it will not, in fact, be pinprick strikes. It will not, in fact, be hitting a camel in the butt. They might destroy Kharg island, they might destroy South Paris gas field. They might just start blowing up key strategic resources inside Iran. They might start going after members of the regime again, including Mojaba. By the way, there are rumors that most of us is no longer in country. And so the fact that Israel has made clear that if it is hit, it is going to go hard, that is the reason why Iran is going less hard. Again, this is the rule in the Middle East. It is not about negotiations. It is not about strategic diplomacy. In the end, it is about who is willing to generate credible threat of force. That is the biggest thing here. And Israel has made that clear. And that is why Iran is staying away from them right now. Now, meanwhile, in the other big news over the weekend, the influencer brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate have now been arrested in Miami. They're being extradited to the UK this is not a gigantic shock. Obviously, they've been traveling around the globe. They've been residing in Romania. They pretty openly said the reason that they were residing in Romania, these influencer brothers who are accused of sex trafficking for long periods of time, is that the Romanian justice system was a basic mess. And so they didn't want to be in Britain because they might get arrested, so they went to Romania. Well, it turns out they were arrested by federal authorities Saturday in Miami. According to the U.S. marshal Service, the CBS News reporting, the charges were not immediately announced by U. S authorities. However, the Crown Prosecution Service, which is an organization that prosecutes criminal cases in England, said that four more victims of the brothers came forward, announcing further charges of rape, sex trafficking, assault and child or extreme pornography. Now, I assume the child extreme pornography is a reference to a person who Andrew Tate is on Tate on tape, like hitting with a belt, engaged in sexual activities. And according to Tate, and according to contemporaneous timelines that that girl was 15 years old when. When all that was happening. Now, again, it was a gigantic mistake for so many people on the right to embrace Andrew Tate just because Andrew Tate was transgressive. There's this thing that has happened. I've talked about it a lot on the show, Obviously, I've been talking about it for years, that if somebody is transgressive of leftist orthodoxies, it doesn't matter if they're a complete piece of crap. There's a willingness on the right to then give them extraordinary credibility, even if they're pieces of crap. In fact, sometimes, because they are pieces of crap, like the worst they are, so long as they're saying transgressive things. This is now taken as a sign that they ought to be part of, quote, unquote, our team. And so you have members of the administration who are very close with the Tate brothers taking pictures of the tape, as you have Tucker Carlson traveling over to Romania to massage the tape brothers and basically claim that they were innocent. Candace Owens doing exactly the same thing. Now, some of us were a little bit, I should say, more cautious about all of this, given the fact that Andrew Tate was a self admitted pornographer. He got rich making pornography. He got rich pushing what he called the pimping hose degree, right? Which is a way of teaching men how to essentially get young women to, quote, unquote, fall in love with them and then bring those women to do cam work for them, essentially pornography for them. That's who Andrew Tate was. The fact that there are members of the right who are not only willing to go along with that, but we're touting that. And talking about how wonderful these guys were is really quite insane. Again, we'll have to see the charges. We'll have to what the accusations are. There's been widespread reporting as to the levels of abuse that Tate engaged in. You recall a few weeks ago, I did a show about an extraordinary article by a woman named Heidi Blake for the New Yorker where she ran down what she called the Andrew Tate's Empire of abuse. The allegations in that piece were extraordinarily credible. They were very, very well documented. Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan are not people that you would want to be associated with, and yet there are members of the right who will associate with that. It is something the right is going to have to separate off from for both moral and, yes, political reasons. Morally, you should not be associated with these people. And then politically, it will be poison, and it should be poison. To be associated with people like the Tate, and it always was, even if they weren't actually engaged in criminally prosecutable behavior, which it seems like they might well be. I mean, they were pornographers bragging about their pornography. They also side with all of America's enemies, and they share pretty much zero American principles other than using America's free speech rules in order to maximize their own personal exposure through yet another grift where they take dispossessed and angry young men and then teach them the way to make money is to cut apart Andrew Tate videos and put them online. Now, we'll get into all of this at more length tomorrow. What it means for the right, what it means for the the Internet that the Tates have been arrested, what the charges actually are.
