B
Never mind.
A
You ain't gonna answer each question.
C
No, I'm not. Not dropping no love, but it do
A
give that a little bit.
C
Shut up.
A
Like, we. We drove by there.
C
You never been, Nigga, I've definitely been. I'm not having certain conversations with Joe Bland. Cause he's been famous all his life.
A
Wait, is that fair?
C
Yes, it is fair. You don't know nothing about real life.
A
Damn, that can't be true.
C
Not damn. I mean, you know, a little something. You smart.
A
But I have been famous longer than I've been unfamous.
C
Come on.
A
I guess I am that old.
B
Yeah.
A
Which I also realized as we were counting the gray hairs on my balls this morning.
D
We?
B
We.
A
Me and my girl.
B
That's what y' all do in the morning.
A
Yeah. Yeah.
C
How many is it?
B
If you wax, you wouldn't have to
A
deal with a bunch. It was quite a bit.
C
Yeah. If you took care of that, like, sexy.
A
Couch wasn't looking raked either. Like, the raked lawn was looking like weeds. And I see why the new accounts went and did they thing. I see why y' all did y numbers.
B
Got to keep them balls looking young.
A
And it's 100 degree outside. I wouldn't know what it is outside. I ain't been outside.
B
Yeah, it's not.
E
I ain't mad at you.
D
You shouldn't be.
E
But I ain't mad that it's real.
A
All stinky and disgusting and foggy and smoggy.
D
Yeah.
E
Smoky.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah.
C
That's crazy.
D
I mean, I was wildlife, but I hate it.
B
Why are you outside? Why are you outside?
D
Because I don't want to be inside
C
with my kid, honestly.
B
So you leave him and go out?
A
I don't blame him. I'm gonna just risk death.
D
I was like, I got two options.
A
Risk lung disease. This guy's crazy. Bring him with you.
C
Oh, God.
D
You think I did.
A
That'll really solve it.
D
I took him right to that park. I think I'm joking.
C
Can y' all please shut up?
A
Yo, me and Mark, we were human. So dark. Oh, my God.
E
You crazy, dog.
A
How y' all doing? Feeling great, man. Good, good, good, good. Good to see y'. All. Good to see y'.
E
All.
B
Everybody good?
A
Shit.
B
Small.
A
Getting everybody down.
B
What's up?
A
It's crazy. Yo, get your laps up.
D
Yo.
A
Yo, you stupid. Yo.
D
I had a whole weekend plan. I had to cancel it. So I was like, nah, man.
B
Just doing cardio outside.
D
Yeah. Then I just. I put me like, five karate classes. I was like, I couldn't be packed, stuck in that house for days. School canceled, all the activities. It's fucked up.
C
Damn.
D
Yeah.
B
Sorry you're going through that, Mark.
D
This is painful. Was this some shit? We was growing up and we was just too poor to know. Like, air quality problems, probably.
A
That's a good question. Probably most likely.
D
I feel like if it was an air quality problem, we wasn't. We wasn't gonna do nothing about it.
C
Like, y' all know how those areas, they always smell like when you drive through them? Yeah, shit like that.
B
Like Tri Burrow Bridge, Elizabeth out here.
D
Yeah.
E
No, Todd,
A
no. I think the air quality just got worse.
D
Okay.
B
It's possible, too. Global warming is the thing.
A
I think the air quality got worse. Cause I used to watch the news as a small child. They wasn't talking nothing about the air quality. I don't remember seeing that. Now, I opened the weather app on the phone. They made the whole background orange. They made it look like a volcano eruptor. I had to leaving the house anyway, dog. I'm not going nowhere. Nowhere. I'm an idiot. Yo, they talking about, especially if you have sensitive lungs. That ain't me, but I acted like
C
it was meaning, like, asthmatics, right?
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
E
That's crazy.
A
Yo, but it ain't no joke. Last time we had the heat wave, people was dying. So, I mean, I don't want to sleep.
E
No, it's the heat wave mixed with the fires from Canada.
A
Why y' all put fires in coats anytime.
C
Oh, God.
D
Is it not? I'm asking. Cause I really don't.
C
What are the conspiracy streets saying?
A
Y' all know we got conspiracy theorists up here. And you know Mark is antagonizing.
C
But what are the streets saying? Tell us. You the only one with your ears to the conspiracy streets.
D
Please tell the same thing, too.
B
That's the two.
C
Oh, Cory did it.
A
You know that.
E
Cory posed a question. Say, yo, did any of y' all actually see the fires?
D
Is ice.
A
And Corey don't believe that there's fires. Nobody said that. I'm putting that on them.
E
But I'm telling you, I believe it's.
C
You do believe it, but you don't believe in the moon Landing either.
E
That's different. I believe the fires is happening.
D
No, I don't think there's a head to the moon.
E
I haven't really been following the news enough to see.
D
They've been showing pictures of them.
E
I didn't.
D
I don't know if you see the pictures. We believe. Yeah, of course.
C
Okay.
E
If you see an overhead picture of a wildfire, who the am I. Yeah, of course.
C
Exactly. So much footage of the moon landing.
D
I don't trust that's what I'm asking.
C
So much footage of the moon landing.
A
They won't cop to that moon.
C
No, they won't.
A
I don't know if they really believe it or they just like arguing it.
D
I think you with it.
C
They like arguing with it.
E
Yeah. I don't believe that.
C
Or they. I feel like ice don't have a reason to believe it. So he won't.
D
Yeah.
C
That is crazy.
E
People say undeniable proof there a lot of. I don't believe that.
A
Y' all believe dinosaurs.
E
I'm leaning the other way now.
B
That they didn't exist.
E
Yeah. Dragons. Not dinosaurs.
C
Jesus Christ.
D
Wait, I'm sorry. You're starting to believe that dinosaurs did not exist or no, dragons did.
E
But dragons. Yep.
A
So I'm not laughing. Tell me more for you.
D
I want to hear.
A
Yeah, break it down.
D
Yeah. I'm not making fun of that.
C
Dangerous.
A
Where you get that?
E
Oh, a bunch of different Game of Thrones.
D
No. No.
A
I mean, yeah, definitely Game of Thrones.
E
But one thing I pointed out was the ancient Chinese calendar, whatever it is, you know, the year of the all was 11 are real animals, but dragons are not the one would be a makeup don't make sense. Cool. Everything we know about. First of all, everything we know about dinosaurs is made up literally because man and dinosaur didn't exist at the same time.
C
But we found the bones.
E
You found bones.
A
You're right.
E
You found bones. What did the outside look like?
C
I apologize, bro.
A
The outside of bones?
E
No.
A
What?
B
Oh, they don't.
D
They don't know.
B
They think feathers.
E
Some feathers.
B
Feathers.
A
Right, Right.
E
It's not.
D
Okay.
E
The sounds all made up true. Because no one's ever heard it.
B
That's true.
E
So, yes, a lot of this stuff is just us kind of putting pieces of a puzzle together without seeing what it really looked like. We're making up a lot.
A
But that doesn't really answer the dragon thing.
B
Is
A
dinosaurs existed?
D
You just said they might look different than the way we sound different.
E
I'm saying that what we think dinosaurs are could have been something Else.
D
Okay, but you believe that these animals,
A
the bones are real.
E
They found the bones and all that.
B
Could have been big birds. That's, that's. That's cool. I'm not mad at that.
A
All right. You scared me.
E
All right.
B
But dragons. I want to go back to the dragons. You think that they did exist?
E
I 100% think dragons exist. I think giants existed. I think a lot of the them petrified trees that all of that. I think all of that is real.
C
Okay.
D
And you think I'm the reason Neil DeGrasse won't come up here?
A
Well, contrary to what you're saying, Ice is exactly the type of person Neil DeGrasse would love to speak to.
B
That's true.
D
Okay.
C
Okay.
B
That's what it means to speak to Neil DeGrasse.
C
One more thing. Ice fire breathing dragons or just dragons? Like blow fire dragons?
B
They could have.
E
I don't know. It could have been. I don't. I believe dragons existed.
A
Okay, okay, okay.
D
Just one question.
A
The way that this couch supports each other.
D
I love it.
B
I love it.
A
You gotta love it. Look, he quiet. But it's support.
D
That's the best thing he can do.
A
Or he might believe he's the best.
C
Freeze.
A
No, I know. Freeze. That's what what I'm saying. Like, do you agree with that? What do you disagree with so much? Look.
D
Oh, I thought you're being like politely. So you believe.
C
No, he agrees.
D
Dragons just.
E
I believe that. I believe that to Ice's point, you'll believe Jurassic Park. You just said. Yo. Have you ever seen Jurassic Park?
B
That's a movie.
E
Jurassic park is all made up. But no people believe that.
B
Oh.
E
You understand what I'm saying? It's been told to us for mad long.
A
People believe that.
E
They believe it's multiple different triceratops and a T. Rex and this and that. They named them.
D
Well, we know they existed. We just don't know what they look like exactly.
C
From the bones, that's all. We don't know they have feathers.
E
How do you know that the outside of that thing looked like that?
D
No, we don't. That's what I'm saying. We don't know the outside existence. But I'm saying the names in the. Yeah, cool. So this is dangerous.
C
This platform is huge after the ranch
A
you went on last week. So you don't get to call danger no children. Everything I said last week, keep your kids awake. Them white, they will eat you. Them white devils.
D
White people eat children.
A
I don't let my kid look at white people without sunglasses. On you not going to be the one to decide what commentary is dangerous.
C
And I stand on what I said. Except for Parks and Po. I stand on that shit.
E
Oh, I totally forgot.
A
At night with some people out here riding with you too. I knew that though. But to hear that. Anyway, back to dragons.
E
No, I'm just saying, like, some of the. That we are fed. No, nobody got no proof of that, so.
C
Oh, my God.
D
I get that and I agree with you. How do you then arrive? The dragons did exist.
E
I didn't say that they did.
D
Oh, that was the question we were asking.
E
No, I didn't say that they did.
C
Do you have any belief in dragons?
E
I'm saying that I wouldn't be surprised if they did or they didn't, is what I'm saying.
C
That's the problem I have.
E
I don't have a definitive on whether they did or they didn't. And nobody does.
C
But that's the thing. That's the. That's the issue I have with. Because I love y', all, y' all my brothers. But it's like, just because it could be so what. What you know to be true is.
E
But the thing is, we don't know it. You don't know that somebody told you that. How do we know it to be true? You don't know that to be true. Somebody taught you that and told you. What about the bones?
C
I went to the museum and seen a big dinosaur, and I believe it was green, right? Huh?
D
It was green too, right?
A
No, it was bones.
C
It was bones. So they were bone gold, bone color. And then it was a little picture explaining what the habitat was like. What the habitat was like. I don't remember him saying, like, skin stuff. I don't remember that in museums. But they said what the habitat was like, which is kind of factual. We do have proof to how the Earth was in different parts of it. So my third grade mind stamped it as official. And as I grew older, I've never seen anything or read anything.
E
Can I ask you one question?
C
Yes.
E
When you were in school, how many planets were there?
C
Got him. Nine.
E
Got him. But it's eight now.
C
This said got him.
E
Oh, my God. I asked one question. I'm only ice.
C
All right.
E
You said there were nine, right?
C
Yes.
E
I think there are eight now. Why?
D
Because they changed how they define a planet, Snigga. So they changed something.
E
They got some more information and things were updated. And now there's a new revelation over what we were saying.
C
I'm mad that we're not exactly this
A
Is slow News week.
B
Hey listeners. We're doing dragons and planets.
C
Can we get Bill Nye up here?
D
I just want to be clear though. It's not like we thought there were nine because someone will hear that and think that people were claiming there were nine. And then we realized, oh, we, we overcounted. It was only eight. It's not that. No, the same number of things are still there. We've just decided to define it differently.
E
That's gonna be clear, which is what I'm saying.
C
So now there.
E
So how many planets are there today?
D
I don't want people to think that we miscounted planets.
E
How many planets are there today?
D
How many planets are there? Yes, by the new definition. 8.
E
By the new definition. So all I'm saying is.
A
Well, we count digable planets.
D
Always all three.
B
Little planet groove.
E
Okay, yo, so let me ask you this, right? In that, in that county. No, in that county. Who defined that?
D
The scientific community.
E
Exactly.
D
So. Sure.
B
So to that point, I have a quick question. So to that point, maybe the Chinese when they found the, the, the T. Rex skull, said that must be a dragon. And then they got some more information and said, oh, that's exactly so.
C
Right. Like that sound. That makes sense.
E
But they didn't update their calendar though. We've updated our shit. We've updated all of our planetary shit. It's now eight planets. Their calendar still says dragon. It doesn't say dinosaur. Americans are so arrogant, bro. That's really what it is.
D
Americans.
E
Yeah.
C
Somebody bet Joe today. He can't talk shit. This nigga will implore.
D
Boy, I picked the wrong day.
C
Yo, dog, you did, bro. You the had that shit.
D
Look, I don't claim to know. I don't think any of us should know stuff. I just think we sometimes not y'.
C
All.
D
I'm not talking about y'.
C
All.
D
I'm saying as a, as a country, sometimes we get into such a contrarian mindset that.
C
Yes.
D
Like, just because the government says something doesn't make it true.
E
Thousand percent.
B
And some of this isn't.
D
But just because they say it also doesn't make it not true. And I think sometimes we get to a point where any information we get, we assume it's not true. And I think that's also dangerous. And also. Yeah, we can't prove everything we know. But sometimes we. We're putting things on the same tier. Things that we have no. Like we have no proof that fire breathing dragons existed. Or to use ISIS example, that giants existed. Right. We don't have Any evidence of that. So I don't want to put that on the same tier as the skin color of a T. Rex because you're right, we don't know the skin color of a T. Rex per se, but we have no reason to believe the other thing isn't true. And I could say anything and say, well, we don't know. There could be a giant on the other side of that door. We don't know.
B
So the people that determine the planets and dinosaurs are not the government, right?
D
They are and they're not.
B
Sometimes. Sometimes they are, sometimes they are, sometimes they are not. There's plenty of scientists and archaeologists that are not the government. For sure.
D
For sure.
A
Hey, audience, guess what? I ain't stepping on it neither.
E
I ain't stopping. Sound crazy?
D
No. Which part sounds crazy to you?
E
You want to argue? I could say I don't hear it in your voice.
D
No.
E
Archaeologists and the government are not working hand in hand.
B
Sometimes they are, sometimes they're not.
E
Cool. So if something is found and the government says that we're not going to release this, they don't get released sometimes.
D
Yeah, that's true.
E
So I don't. I don't see the where, where that would be contradictory in thought. So I'mma just real quick because I don't want to get on this and I don't want to send to me because I don't feel like it in my shit. But if you saw some bones of something, whatever the fuck it might be, it could be a fucking fish. Who gets to name that fish? So if a Chinese person called it a dragon and an American person calls it a dinosaur, the bones could be the exact same. And how we viewing it and how we depict it is contingent upon the person that's viewing it and the perception of them initially.
D
But I mean, over time, typically there's back and forth, there's investigation, there's research, and you try and get the best information you can on that thing. So where it starts shouldn't be where it ends. I agree. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
C
Can I, Can I. My thing is, why did you go over the part of.
E
That's all we be, that's all we say.
C
What did you just say?
E
I said that can go both ways. Where it starts should not be how it is.
C
Right?
E
Both ways.
C
Right.
D
But this is.
E
You might find some shit that disproves what you thought was always right. Just the same way you could find
A
some shit that proves that you on our side. Nigga, don't try to be down with you believe in the fucking dinosaurs.
E
When we started this, I was agreeing with him. Don't try to do that either.
C
One thing that out of here.
E
I'm not on nobody's side. I'm on my side.
C
Listen, one thing that you glossed over, what he, what he said about the contrarian thing is that, okay, we're not sure about the feathers, we're not sure about the skin, but we pretty much got it wrapped up of the meat and potatoes of it. Right with y'. All that like I don't get or that, that Lane, a contrarian conspiracy theorist guy, is that why does the why is now the giant possible? Just because that could be.
D
That's all I'm saying.
C
Like, there's no proof with giants. There's no discussion. There's no.
E
I'm just saying in general, there'. Certain. I don't call them monuments, but certain. How can I explain it? Mountains and shit, that if you look at it from an aerial view, it looks like it could be a tree stump. There's shit like that that where giant trees, giants at some point may have walked this earth. It's not far fetched. People think because you can't show it and prove it that it could not have happened. I'm just saying, hey, I believe that could have happened.
C
But we got that show and prove and y' all don't think it happened.
E
I'm not sitting here, sitting here saying I got concrete proof. This is the case.
D
What you said now is different than before. Believing that it could have happened is different than saying I believe that happened.
C
Right.
D
So believing that giants could have walked earth is different to say I believe giants walk to earth. I'm just saying there's no evidence in it. There's no evidence. And that's why, that's why I don't
E
say none of this.
D
There's no reason to believe it. That's all.
C
Remember he dug in the, in the, in the little living room and he ate a rotisserie chicken like a little wing. That was Eddie Murphy, though.
D
Boy, these wildfires really got us going.
A
Yummy. Shout to all the dungeons and dragons out there. Yummy. Shout to the rings. All the cave people. The cavemen. Shout out to the men of. The people of the sea. The people of the sea. Yummy. Shout out to all the witches out there. Everybody here believe in witches?
E
Yeah.
C
Witches are real.
A
I'm just checking. Just checking the tip. Just checking the tip.
C
My aunt's a witch.
D
What?
A
It's me or Mark. What I do is making some dumb ass Face where you got to guess what he thinks I would argue at all.
D
I actually agree with what but it
A
can't be to me. I ain't say that this whole time
E
I didn't say what are you talking about?
A
I think I know what you're thinking, though.
C
If you want me to stay I'll never leave. If you want me to stay yes, sir.
E
Hey, yo, Texas, when it black it's
C
going to be another one. Here we go, swim.
A
Oh, Harlem. What up out there? What up out there?
D
A couple shots of the yak and
E
make it down a little Mama in
A
the crib with a pocket to be a scholar type of the devil Upper
E
shorties might need to follow Not a
A
chicken, the bug and come with a
E
little Shapahara take it to the Caribbean got a Caribbean.
A
Everybody at the airport flying around everybody home under that central air was popping,
E
though Break up the makeup you know you'll be going to fight and if we riding together, let's do it.
A
Oh, we didn't write that on the board. Jim Jones and Busta Rhymes seeing each other at the JV concert.
D
That's a good one. Yeah.
A

E
Welcome to the club.
A
Some are mine, some are not. You gotta balance out when you're annoyed. And who's annoying you? It can't just be her kid.
B
Did you or the Chihuahua make PC?
D
You gotta sell that. You actually got your kid harder.
A
Yeah, it gotta be some of my kid, too. I mean, we getting it together.
C
Do all kids get disciplined the same?
A
Yo, bro, you special, my nigga. I'm not gonna lie. You are amazing. Just having a good time, you know?
C
Do all kids get yelled at the same or do your kid get yelled at harder than her kids for performance sake?
E
You gotta yell at yours harder.
D
You got to.
C
Okay.
A
She say I let mom walk all over me, Lex.
C
Ooh.
A
And it's probably true.
E
I do. I know I do, though. I let my daughter walk smooth over.
D
I do. I do.
A
But it's like, reason behind it. Like, I know me, this person I'm talking to is a little person of me. I know how to reason with me. You gotta let him do whatever the fuck he wants to do.
C
Do.
E
Rules ain't gonna get it done.
A
Rules didn't stop me when I was a kid. I got more creative. You gotta just let him go with whatever.
C
Play.
A
Go ahead, little. Have a blast. I ain't stopping. Could nobody stop me? Daddy's baby. Anyway. Yeah, now I'm feeling good, man.
D
I'm feeling good.
A
I ain't got too much going on.
E
Okay.
A
Went out last night, huh? Little date night. Little date night. First time leaving the house in 18 days.
D
Ye.
A
Just looking at each other, loving each other. The fact you know how many days? Huh?
E
The fact you know exactly how many days.
A
Yeah. No, we went to.
E
Oh.
A
Oh, yeah. And it's our anniversary today.
B
Oh, happy anniversary.
C
Is it?
A
Happy anniversary. Happy anniversary. Thank you so much, baby. Thank you. No, seriously. Yeah. Went to the movies.
B
Oh, so did we.
A
Actually went to the movies.
B
So did we.
A
You know, I bought fucking 17 tickets to fucking, you know, it. Odyssey time. Yeah, Odyssey time. What was y' all doing?
B
I was watching Odyssey.
A
Let's go parks.
B
I bought tickets, too. It wasn't many left, so I bought the first ones that I could find. Didn't think much of it. Went to the movie theater. Took an edible before having a good time. Bought mad food, as we always do. Walk into the theater. These seats look a little funny. They're not the usual recliner. Sit down.
A
There's a button here.
B
It says water on. What the.
A
Oh, God. Does this mean yes?
B
She said, baby, did you. Did you get 4D tickets? I said, I. I guess I did. I don't know what the that means. She's like, baby. So we're sitting there enjoying our glizzies, enjoying our popcorn, enjoying our nachos, and the previews come on. And all of a sudden, sudden the seat start shaking.
C
Oh, my God.
B
I am now high as with ketchup and nacho cheese all over my entire body.
C
Oh, my God.
A
Yo, that. It's hilarious.
C
Sucks. Did it ruin it? Did it ruin it?
E
The movie?
B
They're on boats and it's windy and it gets cold on the boat. And the boat, it's not. It's not smooth sailing island that's lit. So we are not smooth. We are getting drenched. The fans are blowing on us like the wind is blowing. They got the smoke machines in the front like the festivals, and you get wet. Yes.
C
That's soaked, but yeah, that's lit. I like that.
B
Yeah, it was.
C
I.
B
At the end, I was exhausted. Like, my neck hurt and like I just had to go home and lay on the couch.
A
Now where's the theater?
B
It was an Astoria in Queensland.
C
Yeah.
A
So you're in Astoria. Did you have on your normal T shirt?
B
I did.
A
God damn.
D
I want to go to one of these.
A
I've never been to a 4D.
B
I didn't know it was a thing. I thought she was like, oh, we have to get the glasses. I'm like, okay, we don't need the glasses.
E
A long time. Like, again, like in a water scene, water will splash.
C
Like, I have never heard of this.
D
Y', all my 40 tickets.
A
Nobody gonna put one of those in Wilmington. Who the going to put that type of movie in Wilmington?
E
Yo, they got an area of Wilmington. That's. No, they got them.
B
Everything's 14.
A
You get all of this.
C
I really thought you had me right there.
A
That's funny, dog.
C
Oh, no, that sounds so fun. Besides the hot dog and relish on your shirt. Like that sound fun.
B
It was. It was so. I'm never doing it again. Again.
A
But I'm glad I was.
B
I was dying laughing. Cuz she's going through it next to me and she's so furious at me.
A
That's funny.
B
It was exhausting, but it was. The movie was phenomenal.
A
Really phenomenal, dog. Yeah, we put a lot of things to bed now. I mean, I know we had our little cutesy talks up here before about Christopher Nolan versus something. The conversations are put to bed now.
B
Yeah, I think so. I think so. He's never missed.
A
He's in a class by himself. Yeah. The more I keep hearing the actors speak about their experience filming.
B
Okay.
A
Like Matt Damon said, any of the scenes in this movie would have been the hardest scene to shoot in any movie he's ever been in in his career.
E
Damn.
B
Damn.
A
And he said every day's work
E
would
A
have been the hardest day of work in any movie he's ever done.
B
Wow.
A
Homeboy. Tom Holland said he was in the movie and doesn't understand how some of those scenes were created. Cause there's no cgi.
C
Right.
B
It's all practical.
A
Once you see this movie and then think that there's no CGI with some of the things that he was pulling off.
B
There's a cyclops and the hydra monster or whatever it is and a whirlpool and all of the things giants and.
A
And witches.
B
Witches. That was crazy.
E
No dragons.
B
No dragons with a Hydra monster. It's like a. It's sort of like a dragon.
D
I think that's what it's called.
A
Yeah, they were big, giant niggas. That Cyclops scene, like, we'll get to all of that, but. And then I heard. I saw another clip where he was talking about the guy that scored this. Ludwig.
B
Ludwig, the dude that does everything.
A
Okay, yeah, him. And how.
B
Gorenson, maybe I forget.
A
And how he told him, basically at the start. I just don't want it. I don't want any orchestra sounds, and I don't want to hear any sound that's familiar because an orchestra didn't come into play. And this is set 3,000 years before the orchestra was invented. Yeah. So I don't want to hear none of that shit. So go bang on a bunch of bronze shit and just create the sound from these instruments that they were using. Like, the technical difficulty that came with shooting. This is just unbelievable. I didn't see it in IMAX.
D
Okay.
E
I have to see this in IMAX.
A
I have to see it.
B
Yeah, we'll go 70 millimeter IMAX.
E
Can't find no tickets, though. Yo, the budget was 250.
A
That 250 is gonna get made.
D
Oh, no, no.
B
This weekend.
A
250 got made an hour ago tonight. That movie's incredible.
D
I've seen clips of it.
A
That movie's incredible.
D
I got sent the early version. I saw part of it, but I wanted to see it in a theater.
B
Yeah. I'm not watching this on no fucking laptop.
A
We were debating, oh, yeah, don't play yourself.
D
Yeah. We had to talk about.
A
On pure. Even that part. Right. To learn that an entire film shot in IMAX has never been done before because you have to reload the camera at every two and a half minutes. Because the detail is so great that you're shooting that it can only store three minutes of shit. And they shot three hours.
D
That's crazy.
A
Of movie. They went to location.
B
Yeah.
A
They went in the water. These people had to shoot at sea for fucking. In real storms. When you see this movie, it's gonna be unbelievable. Like, I went in knowing it was 2 hours and 45 minutes. 3 hours. So by the time I looked up to see, like, what was going on, it was like, oh, we got maybe 30 minutes left. I'm like, yo, this shit flew by. It did.
C
Really?
A
I felt like that movie could have been an hour longer and nobody would have batted eye.
B
It probably should have been. Realistically, the Odyssey is such a long.
A
It's epic.
B
You know what I'm saying, like they could have put more shit in there.
A
You know why I fuck with Nolan too. Some of the criticism before the movie came out was about the modern dialogue, dog.
B
Yeah.
D
And the accents.
A
I'm so glad. I'm so glad that he did that.
B
Yeah. He made it digestible. It's digestible to today's times. Like reading. Like we had to read some of this old in high school or whatever. It was boring and dull. This was entertaining.
A
Yeah. I don't want to hear you how you was shucking and jiving with the vocabulary all them years ago. I don't put it in language that I can understand. Yeah, yeah. So I can understand. And I understood it better. I'm just talking about. For me, there was some criticism about his chronological order of things. Shut up. Yeah, shut up. I absolutely loved them, dog. This was the best I've seen this story told from what I've read that
C
I'm gonna say that's important though, right?
B
No, it's not. The original book starts off kind of how this does just in the middle of some shit like. And from what I understand, the story, the original book, the. The poem, whatever it is, the epic is not really particularly. It's just stories. It's not chronological particularly. So if he took liberties with chronological.
C
Who cares?
D
Who gives a. I think if you. If you nitpick. Because I ended up even watching. Because I don't watch these kinds of movies. The parts I saw only saw because there's. We're on Piers Morgan. They were debating all this, like the casting, the time if they were desecrating a classic, you know, all that kind of, you know.
A
Pierce gonna get mad that Helen attracted. Troy was black.
D
Oh.
A
You know. You know he wanted them.
D
They weren't happy. They weren't happy. And I was defending it because you know one. Because it's Lupita,
E
You're too short.
D
You too light.
A
Fair point. Never fair point.
B
She's amazing.
D
Yeah. Great actress.
A
Yeah, but they be doing that like Serena Williams, go marry a Look just like this.
C
But they be wild. It got to be. A white man is a Negro. Clearly. Look at his socks.
A
She put him in the house. She put him up in the house.
D
Yeah, yeah, that's true.
C
And she going to have him.
A
She would date him. She would date him and him. But he couldn't leave the house with her. You couldn't go to the premiere.
C
Exactly.
A
Sorry.
C
Cuz he going to wear some. He going to be dapping up the security and dumb like that.
A
Mark, please.
D
She played Helena Troy.
B
Yeah.
D
And first of all, the amount of
B
time she spent on screen, it was very light.
D
Wasn't worth all the controversy they made about it.
B
Yeah.
D
And to me, it's still a fantasy. It's a fantastic take on the story. So it's like if you got cyclopses and giants, you could have a black Helena. Troy, like, it's not that deep. To me, I get wanting to make things fit the time, like, with the music. But my thing is, half the cast doesn't fit. Half the cast ain't Greek. None of them are actually ethnically or nationally, like, like, in line with the story. So I don't want to just pick Lupita out just because. Just because she's the black one.
E
But we kind of can't even say that. Man, I'm tired of these.
D
Yo, what the dog.
E
Black people traveled.
A
It did.
E
Yeah. All over the world. If you go to Portugal, if you go to Spain, the Moors was out there laying dick, running, conquering all of that. You can't say that we weren't there. Black people. You can't say that black people weren't in Greece.
B
You can't.
A
Well, they done made enough black people be white.
D
Yeah.
E
Ain't nobody get mad. When Charlton Heston was Moses.
D
This literally. What the.
E
Out my face.
D
My.
E
Ain't nobody say nothing. When Liz Taylor was Cleopatra, ain't nobody say nothing. Get the. Out my face.
B
The dude that played Batman, I forgot his name. He's a big actor. I should know it. Or, like, English. What? White? Like, they're not Greek or.
D
Exactly. So I'm like, let's not get.
B
That's not Hellenistic.
D
Yeah. They get all angry when certain people do it and certain people don't. I, I, I'm not with.
A
This is the best I've seen this story be told. Like, they spent a lot of time on. Well, I mean, not a lot of time. The movie is, you know, his. His travels, him and his dudes. You lost. You lost all your dudes. Y' all won the bat. Y' all won the war. And now the next 10. 10 years. I think it's 10 years.
B
Yeah. 10 years for the war. Then he gets lost for another seven.
A
So his kid don't remember who he is. Oh, I want to get to that. I want to get to that.
B
The side piece that was drugging him up.
A
The psychological. There was psychological shit going on in this movie that I thought was so ill. Even the side piece portion where you have the most gorgeous woman.
B
Woman.
A
To ever live.
B
Yeah.
A
On an island Basically saying to you, hey, stay here with me and you can live forever.
B
Right?
A
We're good here. We're been happy. And he boogied.
B
Yeah, because he had that itch. He had that feeling, I gotta get home now.
A
He's like also really thing. The really interesting point to me that, that Nolan kept doing in this is.
C
Is.
A
Oh, piss number one.
D
My mother in law's in the hospital.
A
Just Dr. Hey Dr. K. This motherfucker never fails.
B
He fights dirty.
C
He is serious.
E
You know where some of the criticism came from? Like this is one of those books.
A
You feel what I'm saying?
E
And so for the nerdy motherfucker, not even nerdy, but for the purist that has literally could recite these books backward and forward. When you deviate a little bit, it's gonna be a little bit of pushback because they familiar with how the story was told over the last 30, 40, 50. We was reading research some of this shit when I was a kid.
B
My problem with that. Go ahead.
A
No director in no movie house is gonna be able to get that detailed story greenlit and budgeted for like even Nolan was saying he wouldn't be able to get this movie greenlit if not for the success of Oppenheimer, which is his Oscar win as a director. So like look at all that went into this movie. All of the money and still like what did that. They no way they was gonna put the detail to that book.
E
Gotta be more detail anyway to capture the reader.
B
But the story is three, however thousand years old or whatever it may be. It's changed over the years anyway. Who, why can't we change it now?
A
I agree.
E
I'm just saying that's where some of the critiques come from.
B
I get it.
E
It's from the actual pure that have read these shits from a child, then read them again as an adult. They could literally quote the shit backward and forward and then when you deviate a little bit. They depend on how you deviate though, because again, that makes sense if you, you. There's other stories you can read if we want to go back to historical books and shit. The Bible described Jesus one way. They ain't complained when they made Jesus look like that.
A
Right. You get what I'm saying? Back to the psychological aspect that I loved in this church. This guy was H. Matt Damon was having a long day.
B
He was the longest.
A
Yeah, he, he was having every longest of days. This guy couldn't catch a break anywhere. And they kept telling him, the people that knew, they kept telling him, yo, dog, You. You going to make it back, but it's just going to be you.
B
Yeah, the seers and the. The fortune tellers and such.
A
And he kept. And. And. And he kept telling them, I'm bringing my people. Yeah, I'm bringing my guys. All us is coming. I love this aspect. And they kept saying, no, they not. Yeah.
B
Cause they get a fuck it up.
A
And then you saw and then they showed you where. At every turn, them niggas wouldn't believe him. Yeah, at every turn, them niggas just wouldn't listen. Went. Had their own plan, their own agenda. Now you a pig.
B
But it was hubris on both of their parts, because he also looked like right from Rip. After they win the war and they're heading back, they're like, we can go this way. This is where the trade winds go. And he's like, nah, we're gonna go this way, and we'll get there before them. You know what I'm saying? We're gonna go on our own way, and we'll get there before them. So don't even trip. And then all the bad shit in the world happens to him.
A
Listen, Charlize Theron is so fine in this movie that in every movie that we gotta excuse her. Yo, hold up, hold up. Oh, no. Listen. And Hathway and Zendaya. Zendaya, who was in there for about 45 minutes, but still. She was in there. She was in there. Charlize Theron is so fine that I' ma ignore that news circulating on the white side of the Internet.
B
I didn't see it.
E
South Africa.
B
Oh, she's South African. Yeah, that's true. That's her.
A
They on her. Cause she adopted them black kids.
E
Oh, that was her I saw. Oh, yeah.
C
I can't wait to adopt.
A
She adopted Jackson, her oldest, and. And if you put it in Google right now, Google gonna tell you that Jackson told Charlize Theron at 3 years old that she was transgender. She told the baby at 3 years old.
E
The baby told her.
A
The baby told her. That's what it's going to tell you on Google. So now there's pictures on the Internet of Charlize Theron looking a little crazy with a black daughter that's trans.
C
I just don't want to hear when I adopt me them white triplets from Alabama and I'm naming them all real black Jerome, Rashid, like they being koofies and all that. I'm dressing them like drug dealers, and I'm getting their hair grew and they're getting stitched Back braids. And I don't want to hear shit when I come in with my three piece white.
A
I don't. It's not too much.
C
No, Biscuit.
A
It's not too much. I could say I don't want to give the movie away. Go see it. But wow.
E
Yeah.
B
The most important thing to me, and I'll try to do it without spoiling,
D
is the way we know how it ends, right?
B
Yes. But the way that they do it is very different in. In the Odyssey from what I've read and what I've seen. How it portrays. For instance, the Trojan horse is awesome thing. They give a different angle on it. Let me just put it that way.
A
Gotcha.
B
Without. Without giving spoilers. There's a lot of psychology and like spirituality and shit that you can even apply to modern day politics about all of this in the movie. It's not just stories and oh, here's a cyclops and we put his eye out. It's not that it is, but it isn't.
D
Got it.
B
There's reasons behind all of it.
D
I can't wait to see what is this rank among his movies for you all?
B
It's up there. It's like an interstellar. It's kind of similar story to Interstellar, sort of in the fact that it's a long journey to get back home, kind of. It's that realm for me.
A
It's funny, I was telling Parks outside. I think this fall I'm gonna do a complete rewatch of everything Nolan. All his damn everything. No. And you might get something following Insomnia Momento. The Prestige, which I've seen a million times. I probably have the Prestige memorized. But back then when I was watching it, I didn't know I was watching Nolan. I thought I was watching like a fire just like B side DVD that nobody knew about. So I want to go watch it all. This would be high for me.
B
It's pretty interesting too. I was telling Joe on the balcony that the reason why this all happened, he was supposed to do Troy.
D
Yes.
B
And then the dude that wrote Troy bought it back because the. The film company canceled his version of Batman and Superman. And so Nolan got Batman as a result of losing Troy, and now he got the double back.
A
So to double back and not. This is. Oh, my God. Yo. And this is maybe. Let me think. Let me think of the. Nolan. Nolan. No on it. Yeah. This is the closest we're getting to a glimpse into what a Christopher Nolan horror film would look like to me.
B
Oh, there's some elements of that in there for sure. I mean they go to hell.
D
Yeah.
A
It's literally her there. There's some shit. And, and I heard an interview with him saying that Oppenheimer for him had some of that. I'll go check the rewatch this. I just thought it was like obvious. Oh, he's killing this.
B
He would murder.
A
He's killing.
B
He would kill a. Yeah, no, no.
A
A horror film. It would. It would look like throwback old school. His mind is just different. Yo, his mind is different.
B
His. His ability to play with time also is incredible. And he's done that with memento, with insomnia, with deception, with interstellar. Like all of them. His. Most of his movies play with time.
D
Yeah.
B
Batman Begins, like that's his unique storytelling
A
and I thought that that was real easy to follow in this film. Like some. I saw some criticism again early of how he hopped around, but it was. He did a really masterful job of just dancing all these different timelines. He did.
D
That's amazing to get people who don't necessarily read epic poems, which is like the audience, the film watching audience. Most people to get into this and watch it and really embrace it like a movie and not just like a film adaptation of a Greek classic is dope. I mean that's a unique talent there.
A
Yo, out come walking back dog. After watching Odyssey. Maybe Tom Holland is a a A lister.
B
That's not the same person.
E
Yeah, that's not what we find out. We talking about Toby Maguire.
A
Get him the out of hell. Are you crazy? Oh man, I'm in the movie theater feeling bad Tom Holland. But oh no, Tom Holland's an A lister. He's just like a plain looking a lister. But he's a Toby Maguire. Don't say that that name again in here. So that's who he was fighting movie. Why was it a slow news day?
B
A lot of people think that he is the best Spider man cuz he was kind of the first.
A
Yeah. Nostalgia. Was he. Was he in Odyssey?
B
No, he's not married to Zendaya either. So.
A
All right. I don't give a about what Toby Maguire.
B
He did Bad guy's place.
A
Who did it Bring his name up again. We can talk about the that starred in Joe's Apartment.
E
Tom Holland got another Spider man coming
B
out in two weeks.
A
Huh?
E
Tom Holland got another Spider man coming out in two weeks. He doubling back on.
B
He's having a good year, boy.
A
Yeah, yeah, exactly. But what's Toby Maguire doing? Nothing. Right.
B
Making out all his place at the
C
white party because he then why did she do that? That's spider Man.
A
Hey, in Hollywood language.
C
It's over.
A
This. It's over, dog.
C
That's up.
A
Hey, in the Hollywood group chat, when that went around, it was like, oh, I spice E Tom's got hoop.
B
Yeah.
A
Hey. Competition to put to bed.
B
Yeah, it was.
C
It was.
B
It was great.
A
And that's before we talk about Chalamet. Laughing. Get him out of here. Oh, my God.
D
Yeah.
A
I mean, what this Been in some shit. It's over, dog. You pump that up in London when you go that.
D
I'm sorry. No, that. That Lupita thing had me thinking about casting. I'm asking you. I'm really curious to know some other people up here, but you got to get somebody to play you in the biopic. The Joe Budden I pick.
A
Who do you choose?
C
Trey?
D
Oh, that's actually. That's like that Jafari Jackson. Jafar Jackson, like, where you look so much like the person is perfect, but outside of your son, who do you choose?
A
Don't just go offering my son opportunities that might not. That might not be on the table for him. I could buy probably a. A smoother. We just don't know.
C
You can't pick nobody look just like you.
A
Like who?
C
The look like Joe Button but Trey Button.
A
Oh, please. I the out of Joe Button. I don't give a how somebody look.
C
He make up light skin. He gonna get a like ish to play.
D
I pick.
A
I pick a whole white boy. Change his whole character.
C
Pick a white man to play him.
A
You think that too? Ah, that was a trick. It was a setup. I was joking. That's a good question, Mark. That's a good question. And it would be my son. I mean, I'm talking shit, but he
D
could play like young gentlemen. You can like Common to play old Joe. I mean, there's a lot of people you could get.
B
There you go.
D
That actually ain't a bad common. I could see Common playing old jokes.
A
It's funny. We gotta say rest in peace to Hal Williams.
D
Yeah, it's on the board.
A
For a long time I thought that Hal Williams was Carl Weathers.
D
Oh, my God.
E
Yo, don't say it. You said it publicly already.
A
But don't tell nobody else that. Oh, dar. I was like, oh, this in 227. Oh, Apollo killing
D
everywhere.
A
He just got busted this thing again. He can act.
C
Yeah.
A
Yo, when I was young. When I was young, I was young. Was a kid like 30 younger. Anyway.
B
John leg was. Threw me off a little bit sometimes. It Was a little bit of a different role for John Leguizamo. And I don't know if that's just me Typ casting him in my brain. Brain. Yeah. I think it might have been because he's a phenomenal actor. It was just weird seeing him playing like an old blind guy.
C
Yeah, he is a great actor.
D
Yes.
C
Boy and all that.
A
Yeah, y' all might as well move all the Oscars to the side.
B
That's a fact.
A
They got him.
C
Yeah.
A
Anything technical, the score, the. Yeah, anything filming, they gonna get them all. If I. If I had to say a critique, Matt Damon just lacks like a fucking edge, like charisma.
B
I think that was kind of the point, though.
E
He not the most charismatic.
A
I think it was too.
B
It was a little bit the point, I think.
A
I think it was too.
B
Because that's the whole hubris and folly of like being a headstrong but fucking up. Like you kind of need someone that's a little bit off. If it's someone that's super superhero y, it would be weird.
A
Not super superhero y, but like 300 Superhero Y. Or just a little bit. Not through the whole movie, but like at the end of the movie when
B
he gets a whoops of ass.
A
Yeah, you back now.
B
They don't know you.
A
They playing around with your name. You got the little laundry sheet on. Like if he had a little more boy when that came off. But think about that scene was crazy though.
E
Any movie he's ever been in, that's his.
B
And he was ripped up though demeanor too. He was shredded up.
E
You know what I mean? Like goodwill hunting, blah, blah, Jason Bourne, blah. All of those movies.
B
It's like understated.
E
Yeah, all of that. He's just this.
A
Look at. That's a good point.
E
Well, yeah, he's just an even kill guy. Like, it's just. He don't never.
B
He's a little every man.
A
Yeah, he's every man.
B
Yeah.
E
Yeah, that's it.
B
And I'm sure he was shredded the up in that movie.
A
Matt Damon 55. Matt Damon's getting Oscars. Matt Damon's getting great.
B
I want some lotus flower, though. See what that's all about? She kept giving the lotus flower to keep them highed up.
A
Yeah, look.
E
Look at your bright.
A
The lotus. The lotus flower people. Yo. And they might have been the illest ones. They might have. Go see it. Yeah, please go see it, cuz I. I don't want to keep talking about. When you go see it, then we can have another conversation about it. Go see this but see it.
E
I'm going. Say it this week.
A
No, you won't.
D
This is a good weekend to see.
A
You ain't got your tickets yet. You ain't going to see it.
D
Yeah, you gotta.
E
I just can't catch. I won't. I want to see it in 70 millimeter IMAX. That you can't get it.
B
You might have to go to the hood for the first one.
A
The first round. Just go ahead. Just so I can. The barber shop got the bcr. The barbershop got it on the camcorder. I still go to the barbershop. They got Odyssey playing. Talking about. Nah, this. This the early movie screening. This ain't the normal bootlegs.
E
You see what you say for preview all week.
A
I just used to have a good bootlegs, boy.
C
Used to.
E
What was it? Award Domination only or some.
A
That's consideration.
E
Consideration.
A
Ice was that till Paramount and them cleaned them up. They start emailing him. Yo, dog, post my movie again.
E
One more.
B
Again.
A
Go ahead, post it again.
D
Sound a little bit like snitching.
A
Changed a lot of it.
E
Like.
B
Yeah.
A
Wait, did I. Did that say something up here to make people believe I'm against that.
E
Against what?
A
Snitch ants? I hope not. Don't misread me. Anywho, come on. Let's get Mona in the game. Big Mona.
C
We got our girl.
A
Mona in the game. Big Mona.
C
When you said Matt Damon was 55, my lip dropped. I guess he would be that old now.
A
Yeah, he's better up for a while. Go hunting with him.
C
He looked good.
B
90s.
A
Yeah. Yeah.
C
I'm more of a Jason Bourne fan,
A
but you a fuck. Matt Damon.
C
Quick, quickly.
A
And Ben Affleck. Can I just. Can we stop? Can I name white guys you will fuck and then you make a. No, I'm wrong.
C
Okay?
A
Like, say something when I'm wrong.
C
Okay. Or we could do it like the Tik Tok Challenge.
A
Yeah.
C
All right.
D
Can I start?
C
So every time he's right, I open my eyes. That's how you.
A
No, no, no. When. No, you just be quiet if I'm right, okay. But when I'm wrong, jump it. Okay, we got Matt Damon.
D
I got one for.
C
That's my favorite.
E
Yo. That's what I was about to say.
A
Oh, my God.
C
That Lincoln commercial boy.
A
Well, you wouldn't. Anthony.
E
Black girl.
C
She would.
A
She's. Oh, no.
D
She gonna control his own.
C
He's my favorite, so I had to. He's my absolute favorite.
A
George Clooney. Brad Pitt.
E
Brad Pitt.
A
All right, we gotta name Some of the ugly white dudes.
B
Toby McCarthy.
A
Wow.
B
She's still quiet.
C
Yeah, she quiet.
A
Quiet. You know what this game teach me? You know what this game teaching me? Well, two things.
C
One, I'm supposed to be loud.
A
Mona. All them. And two, I know about eight white. White guy names.
D
Right. I'm down to Jeff Goldblum. I was there too.
A
I was there too.
C
From the fly.
A
Yes.
D
Would you. This is a high stakes question. Would you.
C
No. No. Like back then, y'. All.
D
Y' all good then.
A
Oh, what's my. Liam Neeson.
C
No.
D
Ben Affleck.
C
No.
A
What's my man name that Matthew McDonough trumps everybody?
E
Tom Hardy.
C
No. The other time, though.
A
Holland Cruz.
D
Brady.
C
Brady.
D
Anyone? Yeah.
C
All right.
A
This game has lost its luster fast.
D
This didn't go the way we thought at all.
A
We got to do this with somebody with like.
D
Next word fishes in this joke.
C
Any who.
A
Yeah, go see that. What else, what else, what else, what else, what else, what else, what else? We got new music. New music.
B
A lot of new music. A lot of music.
E
A lot of music. We got Ross album.
A
I got albums at 2am with Odyssey. I ain't hear.
B
I ain't listen to a lot. I tried to skim it as much as I could, but I downloaded like 10 albums. Damn, it was a lot.
A
I bought Larry, June. I got.
B
I got June.
A
I bought Mao, Rome Streets.
B
Mao. I bought.
A
I bought Sid.
B
Steve Lacy. The whole Internet is outside.
A
Steve Lacy got a new album.
B
Yeah.
E
Yeah.
B
Baby Rose. You didn't tell me Baby Rose dropped.
E
And they said the Internet is dropping in 2027.
B
Ombre.
A
Oh, yeah, I know that Ombre album is. Is. Come on now. You know how I feel about her.
B
Oh, no. Gangrene.
E
You heard it.
A
That's the only album I pre ordered in two years, three years. I don't do that pre order shit. But I did it.
B
LBL dropped the tape.
E
We got a double disc from Tory.
A
One.
E
One disc is all rap, the other one is all R and B.
B
Okay.
E
It's called. What is it made you think I was gone butt. And first disc one, all rap, 12 songs. Disc two, 11 songs are R and B. I don't know how he's recording. Sounds great. Okay, I. I skimmed. I got through maybe five songs on the rap side. And then I said, let me jump here, some of the R and B as well. This sounds.
B
At this point, he has to be recording new music, right? It can't be from the archives.
E
Well, there's bars on here saying I'm Like D and A be.
A
Could he.
D
Could he be right?
E
So this is got to be some new in here.
D
Stupid question, but couldn't he. Could he be right in his AI?
E
I don't. It's a very good.
D
Let's put it that way.
E
It's a very. If that is the case, like the
D
way Beans do I. I haven't heard the beans.
E
Oh, yeah.
B
He could be.
A
He could be you. Philly got to stop it.
C
Beans uses AI because he got shot his lungs up. And you can get that old sound now with AI. That's the only.
D
That's why I thought Negator was right.
A
Put out eight albums in the last jail bid.
D
Yeah, but you saying this one sounds.
E
But a lot of. A lot of the other was, like, older because he's a. You know, some of them dudes record a lot of music and just go in the vault, grab a couple joints. This sounds newer. Like he is some in here. I even gave him benefit of the doubt. Like, one song is called Jalen Brunson. Okay. Maybe you just change the name to make it more current, but there are bars in here that are current.
A
And that's exactly the song we got to play, actually.
E
Because I'm like.
A
Not because it's titled Jalen Brunson.
B
That's why
A
I'm gonna tell you the truth. He really just took off on this, and he. He went.
B
That jail got a good re.
A
Sound good.
E
It just sounds really good.
A
It's the best jail. This the best jail studio I ever heard. What Good acoustic.
E
I really don't. I can't explain it. I just know this sounds amazing, especially for a.
A
That just got stabbed 97 times. Times. I wish you come back and say, yo, I'm all right.
D
I think that's what this is.
A
No, no. Some scare about. Huh?
E
We a going to say it Other solo.
C
How you get messages out?
E
You can get them.
C
Yeah.
A
You can get a message out to say I'm good.
C
You can call. You can do it on your Instagram. You can do a lot of different things.
D
I wouldn't. If I'm trying to get out of jail, I'm not letting y' all know I'm okay.
E
Word. That's a good point.
B
Sound good?
E
Yeah. I want to get back to the rest of. Like I said, I did a quick skim rap side R and B side. It's Tory.
B
Yeah. Yeah.
C
When he come.
D
What's the R and B side like? He got.
E
Well, what was interesting on here?
A
Oh, good.
E
Rock out, Joe
A
again. I don't have my favorite songs memorized, so I don't know what's what. That's crazy. I hear a lot of Drake influence and interpolation on the R and B. I like when Tori does that, cuz he knows how to do it. This the last track on the R and B side. It's called I Know Everything.
B
Not bad.
D
Sound like bootleg Drake to me a
B
little bit, but he's in jail.
E
If you could boot.
A
This track is called Favorite Eater. Shout out to all the great eaters out there. We love you. We appreciate you. You make the work day feel shorter. You make the sun feel like it's shining brighter. We love y'.
C
All. I don't take my. Is getting too real on my side right now. I need. It's hard to say out loud. I'm not supposed to want you to want.
D
I can never hate him.
E
But, you know, sometimes I strongly. Just like I said, I love the.
A
At the same time. Listen, man, you got some going on. Shout out to Tory.
E
He confused me because he got a record called First Day out up here, which we know what the first day outs are, and this one is First Day Out R B version. But.
C
But he ain't had no first day out. He ain't out, right? Supposed to be how you felt after the day.
A
No, he got out to go to the hospital after they stabbed him all the time. He didn't just stay in his jail. So that's what I'm saying. We didn't get update. Sorry. I love you, but that's up like that practice.
C
Yeah.
A
If you get. If they come out and say. Even though Mark brought up a good point. Yeah. If you're trying to get out of jail.
B
Yeah.
E
And he's saying that he fearful in life. All that.
A
Yeah.
E
You don't want to act like anything hokey dory in this.
A
No, I get it.
C
That's why I don't want to send that right to Canada.
A
That jail, boy. Yo, you niggas that could do a bid through the summer. Oh, man. Yo, y' all got salute.
C
I'm not gonna try it.
E
Salute y' all from my hood.
A
Be like, what, four years?
E
Oh, man. I do that on my head.
C
Favorite line.
D
That's it. Right before they get their McDonald's.
C
Give it up,
A
dude.
E
That on my back.
A
I be like, okay. Got it through the summer, though.
C
Just do it on the handstand.
D
It ain't that. Like my brother was telling me other day. He said it's actually. He said it's cold all year. Right. So if anything, they wearing sweaters and hoodies at night, cuz.
C
Yeah, it's col in the summer.
D
PF State is freezing.
C
Yeah, it's cold in the summer and it's hot in the winter.
A
Yeah, okay, I'm about to say y' all must be talking about, like, real prison rules. That ain't the case in County. Oh, yeah, nigga, that jail get real hot.
C
You know what the case is in County, Joe Button?
A
Cause I've been to County.
C
Here we go.
A
A bunch. A bunch.
C
I've been to County a bunch a bunch of times.
A
Which floor the room where the would
D
you want to go with the two
C
way mirror in there with the turtle suit, yo?
A
Oh, oh, man, this guy, the turtle suit, Mon. You think none of us in here ever did nothing for real, right?
C
No. I know for a fact that all of you have broken the law, especially parks. The most parks probably sold bricks, and I believe all. But I think of all right in the room, the person that hasn't touched grass in the longest would be Joe Wayne, because he's been famous his whole life.
D
That's such an interesting point, Joe. Do you think about.
C
He don't know about what's going on out here in these streets.
A
Think about what, Mark? Tell me.
D
Just you've been fake. You haven't been rich most of your life, but you've been famous most of your life. And at some point you will have been rich most of your life.
C
Mm.
D
Does that.
A
God willing, yeah.
D
Yeah. That changes a lot of perspective on. My wife told me that about me. Not about the money part, but it's just about. I've been doing this like 20 years. And so in my adult life, most of my adult life, and most. And certainly most of your adult life, like, you've been visible and you're way more famous. Like, do you ever feel like you take shit for granted or, like, are so out of touch? Like, even when you talk about, like, what Mona should be doing with her life or where she should live or stuff like that, then maybe that's easy to do because you don't have to live it and you're so detached from it.
A
No, I talk about that, like, with Mona, because I know how much you make.
C
Cut it.
A
That's the only reason I be saying that.
C
She. She went this my favorite part of the show.
A
Let's inside track on some of her financials.
C
Oh, my God. Price bitches.
D
We got sources.
A
But for me, Mark, to answer you, no, I don't look at it like that. I don't look at it like that at all.
D
How do you see it?
A
I'll plead the fifth, you, Honor.
E
Yo, you really don't. You can't be serious.
C
Don't plead the fifth. Now I need you.
A
I got a unique way of thinking long before.
E
Before that.
A
Long before we get to the fame.
D
No, the.
E
That's true.
A
I agree with that. So I'm clear that my thinking is unique and maybe one of one. But I, I don't.
D
That's.
A
I don't relate that to fame. I relate that to maybe me being.
D
It's a strange bird. A little.
A
A little. Yeah. I agree.
E
I think it's both like. Cuz it could be some common. That the masses may be aware of. And George just be like oblivious.
A
You're like, yo, remember.
E
I remember one time you and Dill got in an argument over the money that people make and you was just like, what? Who don't make $50,000? And then the room was like, see,
D
that's a good example.
E
Like the room was like. Like, you know what I'm saying? So again, that's some of the stuff that was.
A
But that's more to me being unique. Cause I remember having that same argument when I was 6 years old with Michael Paul about how humans are coming. Created. Michael Paul was trying to tell me that people are having sex to have a baby stork. And I said, Michael Paul said, you have to dumb ass up. That mean everybody's. You think everybody's having sex, you dummy.
D
Right?
A
So I don't. I just been a little.
D
Got it.
B
Yeah.
A
I mean, any. What was we talking about?
B
It's about part of the show. Yeah.
A
And I don't think I act like them. Famous, famous people.
C
Oh, come on, we gonna go all night.
A
I don't think I act like them.
D
How so?
A
Case in point, the Jay Z Yankee Stadium show. All of the famous people was in the famous section and wanted to be in the famous section. Some of the people that wasn't famous wanted to be in the. That's where all the mix and the glitz and the glam and the cameras and the paparazzi and the celebrities and all that, y' all know that that's against some of my beliefs.
D
You don't wanna do that. You want to be in a private sweet.
A
You'll be away from me. But yeah, he's right.
D
Yes.
A
Like the recluse that I am, like the introvert that I am.
D
That's fair.
A
Not like the famous person I am. I'm socially awkward.
D
I get that.
E
A lot of motherfuckers won't play the Sweets because they nobody see you.
D
They won't be seen.
E
You won't be seen. It's no different than going to a basketball game or something. You gotta sit not just courtside, but you gotta get TV seats courtside.
D
Even if he pulls a sit behind fashion joke.
A
But even my Nick seats you. You make you making a joke. But the famous people wouldn't go to the game.
E
Wouldn't take those games.
A
They wouldn't take those seats.
E
Nope, that's true.
A
Seriously, I mean, you jump around.
D
If they could afford them, they would sit for courtside. You are an exception because you can certainly afford them more than some of the people sitting there. And you just choose to do that.
A
And I have no problem sitting right there.
D
You don't desire to move up?
A
No. Well, no. If they. No, no, no, no, hold up.
E
That's not, you know, we talk.
A
That's not great.
D
He does not want them to. Don't even call him.
A
Yeah, it ain't that. Oh, my God. Anyway, now it's time for my favorite part of the show, Prize picks. All right. It's a scorching sports summer and you can make all your picks on prize picks. The WNBA and baseball are heating up, and every game in football's biggest tournament is getting more and more important. With big tennis slams and major golf tournaments on the horizon, there's no better place for all your sports summer picks than Prize picks, America's number one sports picks app. Prize picks is really easy and simple to play. All you have to do is select two or more players, look at their projected stat line, and pick more or less for your chance to win big. Put a lot of thought into this, man. It could be a big pace day for you. Speaking of people who. It was not a big payday for the people that picked Ish's picks last week.
E
Oh, that's my me.
A
Are you lost? Yeah, man.
E
Olivia. Olivia Miles got hurt.
A
I saw you tweeting.
E
Yeah, I was hurting.
A
I saw you tweeting. Yeah, you was looking like you was in pain.
E
I was.
B
I'm sorry.
E
You hurt her ankle. I hurt mine, too.
A
I want to tell you. Still an all star tweeter. Twitter may not be what it once was, but your tweets, they're good tweets, man.
E
Thank you.
A
So you always loading up. You're preparing for some type of.
E
You have to. You gotta stay easy.
A
It's just a regular compliment. All right. Appreciate it.
E
Thank you.
A
Who compliments you more than me? In your friend group.
C
Me?
E
Mona.
A
I said in your friend group. We just met this bitch. That's it. In your friend group. The is.
C
Thank you.
A
So up yo so ish is going with Brianna Stewart for more than 30 points, rebounds and assists. Sarah Ashley Barker for more than 11 points and assists. Kayla McBride for more than five and a half points and five and a half rebounds and assists. And Sonia Citron for more than three and a half rebounds. All right, load up. You're ready to lose on that ticket right there. Don't forget, download the prize picks app right this very second and use promo code JBP definitely for the next eight months. And you'll get a chance to get 50 off instantly when you play your first five dollar lineup only on prize picks, the official partner of the NBA. So during the ad I thought of some more, another scenario rather recent, that I don't behave like a famous. I really don't act like a famous person at all. Like I know you say that.
D
I don't think you act like a famous person at all. I think being famous so long shapes your perspective of how you see the world, how you see other people's shit.
C
That's what we say.
D
That's what I'm saying. You don't move like a famous person.
A
Yeah, but I mean my great network of people do a great job job of keeping me grounded and humble.
E
Humble.
A
Keeping humility at the forefront of things at all times. So the other day I lied. Oppenheimer was gonna let that down. Oppenheimer?
E
No, he said he lied.
D
Okay.
A
No, I lied about the movie being my first time out. It was a lie. That was my second time out.
E
What was the first?
A
My first time out.
C
Out.
A
I did go bowling the other day with none other than sue surf.
E
Oh, my bad.
A
Surf. I did go bowling with Sue Surf and Fetty Wap. Okay, Fetty Wap didn't bowl. He just came in. You know what I mean? We'll talk later. So, yeah, I went bowling with Sue Surf. Mark and I. He was calling me ahead of time. So we were gambling. We were like, yo, we gonna. It's gonna be a ball.
D
Can I pause you something clear. Your example of you not moving like a famous person is you going bowling with Sue Surf and Fetty Wap.
A
Not at all. Not at all. You just can't talk and listen at the same time.
D
That's why I paused you.
A
All you gotta do is mute up my brother.
D
No problem.
C
Go ahead.
A
So I go bowling with none other than Sue Surf the other night. He Called up a few friends. He told me it was gonna be me, him, Fetty Wap, Kevin Durant and a couple of his home homies. And we were gonna go bowling. This was at some bowling alley I never been to. And we were gonna wager right on bowling.
B
Okay.
A
I don't bowl a lot, but I figured I could beat the nigga that just came home. Said that they don't have a bowling alley in prison. So we go, I get my permission slip signed. But the thing about living with your girl, I have a lot of my talks on speakerphone, okay? So she could hear sometimes the people I'm talking to maybe don't know. So surf is like, on the day of. He changed it from. It was gonna be Kevin Durant, Fetty Wap, me and him. And he changed it to it's gonna be some of his friends of a different gender. That's what he was saying on the phone.
B
Ooh, that could be complicated.
A
What happened to that permission looking stupid, stupid over there? I said, baby, no need to fret. Do you think there's a world where me and Sue. Surf would fuck the same girl?
E
Don't do that to Surf.
A
She said, no, but I do think there's a world where the same girl would fuck you and surf.
E
That's a good answer.
D
That's a great answer.
A
That was smart. Smooth. That was smooth. Anyway, I said, babe, I'm taking the kids, taking my son. I'm taking your son now. What you got for me, Daddy time? I'm in there as a father, a stepfather, a business owner. Come on, talk to me now. Got my permission slip signed, took my ass over to Wallington and Bowl, got there early. Surf comes in and Surf has. This is the part, Mark, where I'm saying I don't move like. Cerf has hired 19 security guards along with his friends. One of his friends is crippled. I didn't ask how. I just assumed.
B
Smart.
A
I assumed already. So now me and my non famous. I ain't ask him out. He was walking with a. I ain't say, yo, dawg, I just guessed what happened to him. That's your man. So anyway, so I move around by myself. So I'm going outside, like, to use the phone to talk to my driver. I'm just moving around, and at some point in the night, I notice, did
E
they start coming with me?
A
That they start coming with me. The security guards, they following me around. When I go back and in, one of them talked to me. They got the stressful face. They say, joe, please. Oh, no, this wasn't a security guard, cuz. Them were militant. They wasn't talking. But Serge, crippled, homie, says, joe, do me a favor, dog. When you make a move, please just notify anyone. And I looked him in his eyes, cuz. I know what he was saying was sincere. He meant that I looked him in his eyes. I said, listen, my brother, that's never gonna happen. There will never be a day on earth where I let one of y' all know that I'm going outside in New Jersey so y' all can come with me. So crippled on me, say, all right, nigga, I'm come with you. I said, yeah, nigga, Bring your crippled ass, nigga. We'll take him like this. He said, no, we won't. He said, no, we won't. We gonna take.
D
Hey.
A
He said, the last thing we gonna do is some of this. Don't let this cane fool you.
E
Stop.
A
What happened?
B
You shouldn't say it.
E
Stop. We don't know if his conditions allow him to be around people that got.
D
We don't.
A
Well, I don't know that he really. I'm just telling you.
E
Talk this.
A
Don't know.
E
I never saw nothing.
A
I never seen nothing. I'm telling you about. Hypothetical conversation.
E
Got it. Okay.
A
Anyway, we had. I'm just bringing it up to tell Mark that I don't move like that. I don't move like that. I move around on my. What up is. You keep making faces. All parties actually keep making faces.
E
You kind of proving the point a little bit. Thank you, cuz. You sitting there saying, I don't. You've been famous so long, which is what they say, you're a little detached. Could happen. And you kind of not realizing that because in your famous world, you live in a world where that type of shit, you don't even worry about these things. You move in places where that's the furthest thing from your mind. So, yes, going outside the spot with
A
no, no, not that. That's the furthest thing on my mind. I'm protected by my higher power. I'm protected by God.
E
I hear that.
A
Whatever's gonna happen, I have made peace with God determining that for me, my faith is in. In someone greater than me.
E
Well, we speak in a world of probability too, though.
A
Mona fall asleep, you start talking about God, blood Jesus.
E
Now you.
A
You believe in God, right?
C
Yeah, I'm a. So Allah is God.
A
That's what I'm saying.
C
Stop playing around.
A
No, no, seriously.
C
First of all, the fact that Joe don't believe that he's like a little from being famous all his life is because he's been famous all his life.
A
I'm just telling y', all, it's not from being famous.
D
So what is it you said?
E
It's a combination between the two.
C
Oh, like he's just naturally.
E
It's definitely a combination.
C
It's something to do.
E
We've walked out of clubs and how we just move around in a club, out the club. All of that stuff is as a result of fame.
A
But as a result of fame. Ish.
E
We don't stop to talk. You. You high step it.
A
As a result of the fame game. I'm in the bowling alley minding my business, being faithful and bowling. It's like a magnet. Though
E
the aura was Aurora.
A
I wish she leave. Oh look, it's her son that popped up. He was with me too. Yo, it's like a magnet. So what I'm telling you is, boy, I was so faithful. The discipline. The discipline that it takes.
D
They can move the whole topic, every topic. Get to this. We talk about dragons. He like man.
A
Sir Francis. Sir Francis. They said shot o'.
C
Clock.
A
They said shot o'.
C
Clock.
A
Shot. Everybody's making shots to everybody. I said no thank you. No thank you. And they said, oh, you want to know where you going after dinner? We going to the hookah spot. Hey, we going to fine. Now if my girl. I love that y' all give that silence. Cuz you right there. That was just. That was a trick. That was a trick.
D
You is you just getting a lot of off.
A
Anyway, I said I can't go out with your arms going to bed.
D
There you go.
A
Then you know what one of them said?
E
Me too.
A
Move over. With who? Who you going? That's what I want to know. Who you going to bed with? And I said to myself, ain't that the darn D. You supposed to. You supposed to say something is looking at me like. No, it wouldn't be like that. Whenever you got to go straight home, the threesome will fall right in your lap. Boy, you gotta fight. You got the Was like. You got to get that a. The demons of the threesome will land right.
D
More non famous problems.
A
I'm out of here, man.
B
Wait, so who won the bowling match?
A
Yo, I got whooped up on damn by by stupid ass Surf.
E
Oh you.
D
How many times you ball.
A
Since he was locked up, I got beat by dumbass Surf. End up paying him like actually, no. I end up breaking even. But he beat me the first two games. Games. Second game, I think I was Tripling nothing. So I won. That's when I turned it up. 3, 190. Whatever. Whatever I bowled up here. And then it was still. But you can't bowl. Yo, if you call me for the bowling thing and we get back to new music, if you call me for, like, a bowling function, I'm coming to bowl. The people you bring should have fucking bowlers. Etiquette not. Sir. Friends, please. You sitting there trying to get a turkey. These niggas is dancing in front of your lane. They fucking throw that. They walking. They doing all types of. So, yeah, it was some distractions I had to work through. But it turns out here we.
D
That's just how we walk. Joe.
A
Huh?
D
Sorry.
E
What's wrong with you?
C
As long as I could.
A
We had a good time. Shout out to sir. Man, we gotta do that again. Yo, we gotta do that. We gotta bring back.
B
I'm with it.
A
Also, that was more of a workout than my workouts. Again, it can't be bowling. We played four games. Because when I won the third game, I was ready to go home. He told me, no, you know you can't leave, right? Ah, fine. Run it, Run it. Fine. No, that's real now. My whole body was up. My whole body was real. We got to bring that back.
E
Bowl.
A
Would you bowl? Would you bowl if we set up, like, a little bowl tonight?
D
I love to bowl.
A
Oh, don't we got to do this then?
B
Yeah, we do. Yeah.
D
That's a good look. I'm not good. I'm just saying about love.
A
Just the fact that I'm going out. Some chicken wings. Yep.
E
The mozzarella sticks good in there?
B
Yeah. Yeah.
A
They had the Molly Crew on. This was the only Lucky Strike that didn't have no vibe.
B
Get a pitcher of beer, some Budweiser.
E
It's one of those bowling.
A
The one he talk about is one of those.
B
It got to be. That's the best kind of bowling alley. You get a pitcher of flat beer.
A
It wasn't a vibe in that. They was playing the best bowling alley. The best of AC DC in it.
B
That's all supposed to be at the bowling alley.
D
No, it's not.
E
They done took the bowling alley.
B
I know they did.
A
Oh, yeah. I lost to Naim, too. Naim had a good game. Naim. Thank you for texting me that.
E
I'm sorry.
A
You ain't just losing surf, though. Back to. Back to music. Back to music. I'm just gonna play only one record on this Ombre project because y' all gonna say I glaze But I do glaze.
B
I bought I list two yet.
A
Ombre shit is fire here. I'm gonna play the song that sounds like the 80s record because y' all know that's my vibe. Where is it? I think it's this. Let's hear it. Yep. Come on, man. You know you win me over with some 80s. Let's do it. Why. They try to stay but it's hard for each other
C
I people think why people choose. Why circumstances way too soon now when you say.
A
The name of this record is the Art of Letting Go, this is off hombre's new project.
D
Hey,
A
and I think the name of the project is Peyote. I think. But as I get older, I forget how to read.
E
Like the drug, huh? Like the drug.
B
Yeah, it's peyote.
C
Yeah.
A
Okay, great. Yeah, it sound good. What else we got? What else we got? What else we got on the music front or just period and period.
D
Period.
E
Before we leave music, I just want to shout. My brother, rsl, he just dropped a new project today called for your Grammy consideration. He worked like a on this project and just want to shout him out. So if you fan, go check it out.
B
Send.
E
Your phone's on DSPS today.
D
No words.
A
Salute ours up. Anybody else got any music?
B
I think we went through everything. I copped it.
A
Mona, what's your cousin up to? Your cousin with the mixtapes? He good. He chilling.
C
He locked up.
B
Damn.
A
See? And that's why I don't support. That's why I don't support cousins.
C
His first day out gonna be cool. Crazy first day out.
A
Talk about it. Talking. Speaking of first day out, I read something that said, pooh Shisty paid all them 5k a piece to go rob Gucci, man. Damn.
E
It was a. It was a text message that we don't know for sure.
A
Yeah, but in the text message, it said, yo, I killed that. We got.
C
Really, Joey?
A
No, in the text message, it was. Somebody was texting one of the. He was like, yo, all you are stupid dumb. That went and did a $15 million hit. Over 5 for $5,000. I didn't need to see the text
E
to think it might not have been each.
A
Oh, I think it was each. I think it was each. I didn't need the text message to. To. To think that all them were stupid, though, right?
E
Of course. Of course. Ain't nothing to talk about that one. Camera.
D
This is ridiculous, man.
E
On camera.
A
That's Iceman, man.
E
That's not Iceman.
A
It's a shame. That music is hard. That music
E
that's all I care about. Rest of that y' all can have.
C
It was hard.
A
I hope he get Tory Lane sale. Get the same. Get the same word, something, same, same. All of that. I'm just hopping around because it's a slow news day.
D
Since y talk about Gucci, you know, we obviously last episode talked about the boosie situation, him getting scammed or whatever, and him suing. He was. He had to go live on social media.
B
Had to.
E
Had to.
B
Yeah.
D
A couple days ago, defending himself because people were saying that he's a rat for suing. And they said that because he was talking about Gucci that it was hypocritical for him to then go out and be suing these people for his bread for. For the pardon or non pardon. And I was sitting as they were talking. I was thinking, I wonder what ice and ish think about this.
E
Wow. I don't get caught up in that rat shit. I tell you all the time, I don't follow street rules.
D
See, I tend to decide what ish on this. I know there's like, two different sides of it. That's why
E
I don't have all the particulars. One, I don't necessarily, from what I know, I don't have all of the facts, but break that shit down, yo. I don't think Gucci rat it,
B
so
E
I don't necessarily even look at it like that. Like. And then for boosie and if he
A
did rat, it was smooth. I don't know if he ratted neither.
C
What Gucci do cooperate?
E
No, but cooperation and ratting are two different things. I don't feel like getting into the deep part of that, but I don't even know if Gucci filed a statement ever.
A
You keep trying to corner him, but he get out. He's elusive.
C
Just today.
A
Today he's elusive.
C
He's.
E
I don't know if Gucci. I mean, by. By. By there you right. Cooperating and riding, Depending on how you want to slice it, it could be different, I guess. I don't know. But I don't. I don't think so either. I don't think so either.
C
But cooperation is telling.
E
That's not true.
C
Yes, it is.
D
It's not.
C
Cooperation is not always telling. But cooperation is telling. So you're cooperating with the police. You just said cooperation.
E
If you take a plea bar bargain, you car are technically cooperating with the police if you take a plea bargain. So I could go before the court. This is what was talking about surf for and didn't know what the they was talking about. You can go in front of the court and say, yo, my part in these crimes are X. You are cooperating. You ain't told on a person. You can say, yo, in these particular crimes, my part that I play are boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom and take a plea deal. You ain't cooperate and tell on nobody.
A
What you got to say about that? You always acting like you know more criminality.
C
I do.
A
It's nor back you down.
C
He never could. Not no streets. Joe, shut up. At the end of the day, like
A
prove it old school.
C
Like old school. Deep in the street, you don't deal with them people. So you're not gonna cooperate because you don't deal with them people to talk to the people. So if you were to make a statement or take a plea, you would do it with your lawyer versus doing it in a relationship Wrong with a dt. It's a difference.
E
I didn't say nothing about lawyer. You added that part.
C
What you mean added?
E
What I just said will say that you cooperated.
C
Yeah, do say that.
E
Your lawyer could have been there when you were signing whatever you signed. Your lawyer could have been there and presented the plea bargain agreement to you. You added the your lawyer being present versus just being in there with the
C
dt because people think that they could talk to a DT and you can't. You think you could maneuver around a cop a copy like put your hand. You know what I mean? Jam you up and jam you up. And now you didn't put us really made a statement about another person. But at the end of the day, cooperation it is. It's telling still. I mean that's what we consider it. My thing is I feel like it's never no line drawn like when people was out the street. If Gucci Mane is not a street guy, he ain't selling to me. Gucci man out of drugs, stomach flat, not drinking syrup. That's not street Gucci. To me, that CEO Gucci, even if he made made bad decisions on who to sign, like Joe has highlighted 15 times, right? Because truthfully, that would be the most way you can avoid a situation like that by not being around those kind of people, you know what I mean? Let alone signing them. But if you are actively in the streets, you cannot with the police. Is a simple, simple equation. Nobody seems to like understand it.
E
I think people's problem is a thing of perception and an image to what you're saying. Because yes, back to Gucci. You can be completely out the streets. You can be a businessman but if you're still presenting yourself and talking about street shit in a way, because that was the whole thing. There's the video of him a couple months ago saying, hey, and whatever happened, don't involve them people. Keep it in the streets. You get what I'm saying? So it's like, people's problem with Gucci is he appears to be playing both sides, whereas on one hand, you're a businessman. Okay, cool. But you're still promoting and living off of street shit and talking about street as if you still are street.
D
And that was Boosie's point, right?
E
That's a lot of people's points.
D
I'm just doing business. He said, somebody. I signed a contract. You know what I mean? I signed a contract, and somebody violated the contract. If I can't sue you for a contract, then what the. This ain't got nothing to do with selling drugs. Ain't got nothing to do in the street. I didn't put a case on nobody. And I feel like the shit is so extreme now just to tie this up. Like, to me, it's like you can't even have an involvement in a legal process without being called a rat. You know what I'm saying? Like, I called the police yesterday. This person ever called the police? No, no, I'm talking about for, like. For this kind of. You understand what I'm saying? Like, I've never called the. I don't never call the police on nobody. What did you say?
E
Get them off you.
D
No, I had a. I had a raccoon in my trash can. Listen to me. But I still felt anxious about call. I had never, like, called. And I was like, little raccoon from New.
A
It's a nickname.
D
Got some in my.
C
He was inside the trash.
D
Yeah, yeah. And I. I went to take out the trash, and it was a raccoon, and he was about to jump out. That's why I.
C
Some black man called the police control.
A
You call suburbs.
D
911 is at animal control.
C
Okay?
D
So I was completely. I know who the car looked it up and said, call 91 1. For a minute, I hesitated because of all this dumb. I've been thinking about my whole life. I literally. I had to pause for a minute. I was like, I pay all these taxes. I'm down 911 to get this.
C
That's how I felt. My car got stolen.
A
I'm so confused.
C
He got attacked by a raccoon.
E
Stupid.
A
No, no, no, no, no. I know. I comprehend. Well, I'm still confused. And he said that. That on big broadcast. You called the cops on the raccoon.
C
Who was he supposed to do? Fight the. Was to fight the raccoon down to
E
just let the raccoon go.
A
Are you asking me what I would have. I would have put the top on the garbage can. I would have dragged that garbage can somewhere and then I would have gotten a new garbage can. Would have been someone else's rich. What is he talking about?
C
You thought you said something better, you rich waster, you. It's rich, it's wasteful.
D
And now you just dump the raccoon
C
into your neighbor's hair.
A
I'm not calling the cops cuz he was a raccoon.
D
I was calling animal control.
E
Where was you going drag the garbage
A
can to the neighborhood house to anybody else. Anybody else house?
D
Are you serious?
A
Deported the ra.
D
You basically deported a minute like he going to wake up, wake up New Brunswick.
E
That's the worst case scenario, bro. You let you walk away, the raccoon's going to get out the garbage. Or you kick the garbage can to let the raccoon get out the garbage can.
D
That when I open that.
A
First of all, he wanted to see him in handcuffs. Raccoon hard time call ice.
D
When I pull up to the crib, he jumps out the can all the time. This time I open the can. Yeah, I was bitching. He was at the bottom of the can. He looked up, I closed the can. I was like, I'm not with anybody to sit in your trash can waiting.
A
I feel like heat.
D
Yeah, it's 100 degrees outside Walmart.
A
It's a rap. Just leave the top open.
D
I want to open it cuz what if he jump out and bite me?
A
Oh, you saw you do mma.
C
Hey Mark. Hey Mark.
D
Put him in the rear choker. I closed the can.
C
And if that had rabies, you would have been in trouble. I think you did it. Guess what you didn't do? You didn't. You didn't give them to your neighbors in the cul de sac.
D
You didn't force threw him to another house.
A
Marcus never beat narrator.
B
Did the police come?
A
For now, he's never been
D
mad as hell too. Well, I up because I was supposed to call right then. Then my mother in law got rushed to the hospital. Oh yeah, yeah, I told you. So she got rushed to the hospital. So I forgot. Then about eight hours later I thought about it while sitting in the hospital like I need to call for this raccoon. I called the police and they said you had.
A
How the fuck was this nigga Ever in a cult. You online with all the agencies, but I'm not calling a week hospital.
E
Yo, you called eight hours later.
D
I forgot. He fucking.
C
He's gone.
A
He's gone, Mark.
D
Oh, well, okay, assholes. He wasn't gone. Spoiler alert.
E
Yeah, because you ain't kicked the garbage over.
D
You left him at the spot.
A
You heard his little sassy. Spoiler alert.
B
It's a raccoon on story.
D
They can't argue with me. Like, he's going, no, he's not.
C
Excuse me, Mark, can you tell us what. What happened?
D
Thank you, Mona.
A
There's more to this.
D
I called and the police said we're not coming. I said, why? He said, because we don't want to get bit. I said, that's why I'm calling you. I said, is there animal control I could call? I said, not in this neighborhood. We are animal control. I said, then you gotta come. I pay too much money in taxes for y' all not to show up. So he shows up. He opens the can. He's bitching, too. I saw. I looked on the little nest. He looks, he closes it, calls for backup. They eventually try to dump the can over.
C
It was a big dream on.
D
It was huge.
A
I wish I could have. I wish I could have gave them your LinkedIn profile. I wish I could have told him all the memorials you've been at recently.
D
Yes, he was dead.
C
He crawled in there to die. That's what happened.
D
He was dead in the bottom of my can.
A
Yeah, he called y'.
B
All. You had the cops.
C
He was giving me a hood.
D
Yes. I'm not. I would have. It was a person. I way more comfortable than a raccoon.
A
You got the nerve.
E
You tweaking.
D
I was.
C
The point that you making. I had the same thing with. Somebody stole my car and I didn't. I just didn't know how to like 911. Like, I just didn't feel comfortable.
A
Came and got the car.
D
I can't.
C
Sometimes you call the police for help and they murder you.
A
Somebody just came and got their car. Oh, here go my.
D
I'm tired of.
A
You ain't hitting no more. You ain't as nasty since you got that ass. Give me my car back, yo.
C
Give me my car back, yo.
A
Oh, man.
C
And I was. First of all, I was super young when this happened. I was like 21. And guess what? Guess what was in the glove department of the car.
A
A gun.
C
My license and my title. The title and my license in the car. In the glove department. That's what they Did. I'm sure I never got back. I was like already fighting the case from the street, so I had to go to jail. But that they stole my car.
A
You kind of on purpose.
C
Come on, bro.
E
What kind of car was it?
A
Was there drugs in there?
C
It was a Grand Marquis. Oh, I'm that old. It was a Grand Marquis. It was Marauder.
A
It was a tray bag or something in there.
C
It was mar. What? I don't even think it was nothing in it for real. Like I had.
D
I had at 21.
B
You're not leaving no extra drugs in the car.
C
Smart. Exactly. But I was so. I was so dumb that I had my title on the glove department. I you not the title and my license. I gave it away. Really?
B
Yeah, basically, yeah. Did you write it off with the taxes?
C
No, no, but that. But my grandmother called the police for me and when the cop got there, he was like irritated that my grandmother called, not me. But he could see I was uncomfortable. He put me in the back seat and drove me to where the car was at. He could see. That was a scary. Yeah, I was nervous. I was scared. I. I used to be afraid of the police when I was younger.
D
Yeah, I still don't like calling.
B
Used to be.
C
I'm still a little like I'm one. I'm not going to get smart with a cop. I'm not going to debate a cop. I'm not want to know.
B
Hold up now. It depends what the situation is.
C
Any situation, every situation.
A
I let him have extra persuasion.
B
My brother.
C
It's always like that park. You get pulled over. You know which one of your friends is going to actually make. Make this niggas do his job or make him prove he's supposed to do his job. Do you know which one of your nigga friends is gonna get quiet? You know which one gonna. Cuz I'm turned right into a slave. Here's my license. I sorry. Weezer Speeder, sir. I get. Cause I was like, why push his ego? I always been one of them.
B
I should have learned to bark back at the police from this dude over here.
D
Yo bro, the only time I bar famous shit.
E
The only time I'm gonna argue is when I see that second car. No second car mean I'm going to jail. And that's when I turn up anyway. Yeah, I'm already going. Oh, before the second car comes crazy.
A
That's when they start attacking.
E
When that second car come, I already know they taking me.
C
And I'm now gives that he will cuss a cup out he gives that he will. If a cop knock on his door right now, Joe will open. What the are you doing here? Get the off my door.
E
Famous people say that's famous.
D
Famous people let black people act like white people
A
that y' all keep attributing to fame that I don't. That's in my DNA. That's just from my dad that oh, your father cuts a cop off type boy authority, period.
D
Yeah, I get that.
A
I think that and any figure of authority we gotta show them you know what happened. You know what it is, Joe. I'm serious.
E
That's how we wi f the fame allows you to get away with it
D
that it ain't fame.
A
The fame did not work out for say it went the other way sometimes,
E
sometimes not the way it would have went for a non famous person. Very seldom the first fame is what allows you not to get your ass whooped and get you choked the out.
C
Because more people know about that choking
D
and that no one's going to taser you for talking.
A
If y' all could be famous, y' all would want it.
C
No, no, too late.
A
How much you know how disrespectful that
D
is to somebody on 8 million viewer podcast.
A
I wasn't trying to be funny. You a dick. So you going to turn it into a joke. I'm listening to them speak about mine so I wanted to hear they are famous.
C
Everybody sitting up here is famous to a certain extent.
A
I mean famous.
E
No we not Joe Button famous like A level fame.
A
Absolutely. B or C level fame.
C
No, I'm more W, C or D level fame.
E
It's perks that come along with it. But it's also some drawbacks. A lot of trade offs you won't sign up for.
A
Like you two hate Internet comments still.
E
You not going to your kids football game or soccer game without causing a ruckus. You not being able to go to the grocery store and shop, not being able to go to the movies. You not being able to go to the mall.
A
You saying that sound like a valid reason to miss the soccer game.
E
It's your kids. You want to be supportive of your kids.
A
That's on God. That's a fact different. Why the would I want to do that?
D
Yeah, I'm the dick.
C
Is I really miss going to the grocery store.
E
You can still go to the grocery store.
A
No, you shouldn't go to no more stores. Wait, you still going to store your store. Discernment is you should try reputable grocery store.
C
I'm done with stores.
D
Hey yo.
A
Actually hey Big Mona. Hey, Big Demon.
E
Go to the grocery store.
A
You know, last week, I made a wager with Ish and Mark, and we put the money on the wood. Uh oh. And you touched the money, which is against all hood rules where I'm from. Maybe your hood is different.
C
Let me cut you off there. I stole that money.
B
Me.
A
Yeah. That's a plot twist.
B
Your little.
C
Back that up. You about to stretch that for seven minutes.
A
Let's.
C
Let's get that up out of here.
E
What happened was I seen in your eyes.
A
I took your money and called it a day.
C
N. I bought merch up here. I bought a bag of merch.
B
You go back to that T shirt.
C
My merch disappeared. Everybody. People, I don't have no. No shirts, and I ain't make no money. I ask these niggas every week. Yo, I called. Listen. Po said, yo, I got a shirt. I got a pretty cool shirt. Your merch. I got one. I was like, oh, Po.
E
Yeah.
C
You got paid for that? Po was like, what? I found it on the floor between the couches. Even Po wasn't paying me.
A
I'm telling you, I didn't even see I found it. I'm telling you, between me and you, that's an acceptable answer for me.
B
I think a better answer has been you dead on your shit.
A
No, no. I totally accept where she's going with this.
C
It's up.
A
Yo, but I was waiting for some money for my T shirts. You didn't get it. I took my shit. Have I took it?
C
What's up?
A
I get that.
C
Let's go.
A
I don't think you better at this klepto game than me.
C
Oh, my God. I'm probably not. I quit already.
A
I will have this whole coach I don't have.
C
Nothing defensive still. Exactly. You don't like coach. You would not be Cordel Coach.
A
Coaches made a comeback. I don't know who you talking.
C
Coach.
A
I don't know who you talking.
E
Never went nowhere.
C
They just got no coach got a little boring forward.
E
They got corny in our. In our demo.
A
No, that's because they got corny.
C
They got corny. They weren't corn.
A
The designs. And what they was coming out with was bad. And then we was on. Then they changed the designer and they went up.
C
It's cute. Look at that. Look at the. Even the little charms and.
A
No, for real. Now this is a coach. This is exclus. The. The coach in the airport. I knew it was coming. No, this is a nice.
E
That's woman to coach.
D
Yeah, that's wow.
A
That's Wilmington Coach factory.
C
I like coach, though.
A
I always like this the coach. This is the coach in Burlington Burlington.
C
No. Cause somebody told me. Somebody told me like you two known to where Coach really said that to me Dead serious. Like, what are you doing with a coach back then? It's like, what? I don't know. You know, everybody live on by them rules and what you supposed to have, what you supposed to wear. I'm too old for that. I wear what I like.
A
So you're not giving me my $150?
C
No. You.
D
Oh, you took the whole 150?
C
I took the whole 50.
D
I think she just took my 50.
C
Okay.
A
No, she took 150 also.
C
I want everybody to know I paid for my train ticket with it. Thanks, fellas. You think. Let me tell you something. These think that I so I post that. So I come in here with merch. That merch going I can't. I follow up with the energy of the building, which is we steal from each other. I steal and now it's the issue. No let made the best thief win.
A
Say less then tell them what happened to your weed.
C
We we going. Merch going I done had listen I'll be here all day talking about the that disappear up out of here and first I used to blame it on Corey and his women but I let that go.
A
Woman 1 Don't get Cory in trouble one don't get him in one one
C
girl ain't no getting into Ain't no Cory don't get in trouble about no just get in trouble by Corey.
A
In the great words of David Hollister
C
that lucky to be around. You're welcome you bl. We blessed you with Corey, girl.
A
Oh, speaking of David Hollister, can I tell y' all something that ain't about nothing at all. Just something I noticed while I was listening to music.
E
What's up?
A
David Hollister favorite girl. You know that song, right? I was listening to it recently. I like David Austin and I love that song. And I love David Austin. Shout, shout, shout out to him this how I know I'm toxic. Listen to this song. Check it out. Check the song out real quick. I'm not going to play the whole thing, but you know what the the premise of this song is, right?
C
I got to think about it.
A
This song is about a stalker and. And she's stalking him while he's with his fellow favorite girl. He don't call the girl his girlfriend, so we don't know if he's in a relationship. But his Favorite girl bottom. Yeah, right. His favorite eater. That's who he's with.
D
If you say favorite.
A
So now I listened to this whole song and was stumped. So I know I'm toxic, cuz I can't hear what she did to this. The stalker. All she did was call him a bunch and he's singing his heart out. Tell me if you can hear what. What she did. So she texts him early, and it's a pager. So, I mean, it ain't nothing but a beautiful.
D
Listen.
A
Look, she. All she did was call and somebody's next to him. It might be too much.
E
It's a way.
A
She didn't do nothing but call him.
E
No, but repetitively.
D
Yeah.
E
What are you talking about?
A
Stop it.
E
Yo, somebody keep blowing up your beeper.
D
Then you want to 5am, 6am then
A
you're on the freshman team of stalkers. You got a freshman level stalker? Somebody that just learned how to stalk. This is barely stalking.
D
That's how I was stalking.
A
They texting you at inappropriate times, nigga. What the fuck are we doing? We gotta talk to David Hollister for real about what real stalking looks like. I could tell him. Mark could tell him. You could tell him.
E
I've never experienced that.
A
Oh, yes, you have. You've been stalked. You've been stalked. You just do a good job keeping it away from home. Cause the chicks you fuck is like, they gotta be 40 miles away.
C
Excuse me, fellas. Not to interrupt you, but all you need for a restraining order is proof that somebody called you like three or four times after you said stop. The one time that's not true.
D
Oh, Mark.
A
So if you get the raccoon a phone, you can keep them away. You can keep them away from restraining
E
orders on people, right?
C
But listen, issue.
A
Well, you did. You. Wait, wait, hold up. You cooperated.
D
Oh, wait, you told them.
A
No, I didn't know that. I didn't know.
E
I've tried to give restraining orders on people that did way more than I told them. Stop calling me.
D
You went to the police, did you?
C
Let me. Shut up.
D
Wait.
C
I'm trying to give y' all a chance, all right?
A
I'm waiting for you to do it.
B
Get him.
A
It's off the heels of. Listen.
C
So you. You were stalked and harassed and you called the police because. To. To. To stop you from having to put your foot up this ass, my brother. My. Yeah, cuz. You really call the police to save a bit life.
D
Wait, so all the time you anti snitching, anti cooperation, and you didn't just like cooperate. They didn't come to you and say you actually called them?
C
Like my heart is breaking right now.
A
He's such a conundrum, my brother.
E
Not a conundrum.
D
I'm just surprised. I'm not. I'm just asking.
A
You are conundrum.
E
I'm not. But anyway, snitching is for somebody that is committing crime with you and you. Whatever you want.
C
Train orders written.
E
I'm sorry.
C
Come on.
A
You call whatever you want and cooperate y' all say whatever the.
E
Y'. All.
A
She was gonna kill you.
C
He thought so.
A
He. So what she was doing calling what you did not for real. For you to go to the. To the extreme. Extreme. Extreme.
C
Did they ever grant you the train owners? No, they.
A
Oh n. For no reason.
C
Try more than once, cuz you are black.
E
So I can see you being told. They give you the temporary.
C
Yeah.
E
And then when you go.
D
He went through the whole process.
C
Oh, my God.
A
Yo, he was carrying the paper with him in the glove coming. Look, it didn't go through yet, but
E
97, 98, 99, 100 y.
A
Oh, and he's repeating this shit is the great part. That's funny.
C
All right, can we please stop? Is this a. A safe space? Yes, it is.
A
Okay. No, but still do.
C
That is so now I being that you my brother, my bestie. I know this is the only time it's ever happened to you, right? So this is only a one time occurrence. This never happened before. Lord Jesus. How many.
D
How many orders you got?
E
None. But I had a temporary on one one time.
C
All right. Boom.
A
No, we got you. We did.
C
What was the final straw to make you go into that courthouse and raise your and say to the guy, I need your help. Police affiliate judge, please.
A
She's strong.
E
What was the final delve into it? I swear to God.
A
Oh, it's ongoing.
E
It's a lot.
A
Yo, you hear this?
C
I can't.
A
Y' all can't speak too much on
D
the facts of the case.
A
She's still at large.
C
Is that telling, Cory?
A
Yeah.
D
Yes.
A
Where is Crime Stoppers?
C
It's not telling. You bugging. Y' all bugging.
A
You know why?
D
You know what's telling?
C
Because if she violated what's what. What when you get the restraining order and you're served, the first thing they tell you is, yo, if you violate this, you go to prison. And that's why it's telling. Because you what you have to do to make sure they know that she cross the boundary is getting her locked up, period.
A
That's why I was telling this combo is lit.
C
And guess what, though. And guess what?
E
That's a great point.
C
Me, me as a woman on some dv, on some dv, on some serious. Even though this is such a bad idea, every time I bring up something serious on here. My first time calling police on somebody that was hurting me. I was afraid of. It took a long time for me to do that because I'm like, oh, that's not. You know what I mean? Right?
A
Yeah.
C
But whole time, I think this nigga's going to try to kill me. I'm really thinking that way. So I got to make that phone call. Sidebar. I would just like to say to you, woman to woman. I mean, excuse me. I want to say to you that they didn't give me one. Diva. They make it harder when you a. That's a fact. On the serious side of things. They white girl going there. That granted. Black person, you damn. They got to show this person bust my windows. This person stab me. This person. You know? But you are supposed to be able to show a couple missed calls. You saying don't call anymore. Them doing that again. And that's enough. It could be three calls. Yeah. Six total. And that's a restraining order.
E
Theoretical. That they tell you.
D
And you have to have a romantic relationship with the person. Like in my state. That's not true.
C
Romantic. No, that's not true.
D
I'm telling you what. They can always speak for Pennsylvania. I'm not saying nationally. I'm saying in my state. Because when I got.
E
He's right.
D
Cause when I got pepper sprayed by that woman.
E
It's a gag order, not a restraining order.
D
Yeah. They said if it's not a romantic relationship, it's not impossible. But it's damn near impossible. You have to go through 10 other steps. They wouldn't give me one.
C
The word that's confusing me is romantic.
D
Know her.
C
You know what I mean? Romantic. Excuse me. Because I feel like you could have a domestic situation where you need a restrain order. And that was just your roommate. You didn't them.
D
You know what I mean?
A
We're veering away from the fun. We're veering away from the fun. This is a fun topic. But we're veering away. We're being serious.
C
Stop micromanaging. We going to get back to the fun in a second. Thank you. God damn.
E
No, but he's right.
C
You see how I made that? Say sorry.
A
Well, I'm baseline corner, three spot. No, I want to get this, too.
C
He is the base. All right. Back to you cooperating with the rest. Train order with the police. What did you bring them as proof?
E
A dictionary full of which is like texting pictures. Oh, you boys collecting evidence.
C
There's no point to keep going. He can't tell us nothing. Joey, what's the point of keep going? He can't tell us nothing because the big bulk of things you can't. You can't tell me.
A
What year was this that you can't.
D
Was this.
A
This is like recent.
D
He can't say.
A
Was you in a relationship already, right?
D
Yeah.
A
Oh, she had this in a spin cycle. This stalking, cuz.
C
All I wanted to know was what was the final straw? Did she come to the house? Did she knock on the door? Like what was the final thing that made you like, you know, I got to take this serious.
D
She's already said too much all of that, bro.
C
Okay, so she was stalking you.
A
She was throwing at the white van.
C
Now did you go to.
A
How did you see it was no windows on the bed.
E
This after the white.
C
You went to Home Depot to pick up some workers and that jumped in the van to work. I do like. I help you. I help you.
A
Hey, let me ask you a real stupid question, bro. Like what did you do to her to make a babe that way?
E
Nothing.
A
Oh God.
C
Questions that need answers. Did you abandon her? Did you give her some of that good wee and disappeared?
A
My man. Hey, I'm leaving alone, cuz. You my man. I'm backing off when you make little stupid face. I'm leaving. Is.
C
Did you this person?
E
Yeah.
C
Okay. Was this good?
D
I take.
A
Yeah, yeah. Yo.
D
Yes.
A
Leave it alone, man.
C
The crazy always got that. They he don't they Did I her next time.
A
I wish you did. I wish you did.
C
Damn.
A
My boy Wayne got a restraining order. What a. I never knew. I never knew you had had that in you, bro.
C
I need to get a restraining on me. I'm strapping him after.
A
I wanted to get. I wanted to get a restraining order on her.
C
Guys, it's a joke. If you need to get a restraining order here at the jbp, we support that. And we, you know, we don't support JBP violence of any kind.
E
There you go.
C
We stand with you. Please. All you tough ass men do some push ups and go right down to that court get your restraining order.
A
Actually, yeah, no, I support Ish getting a restraining order. Cause it's too easy for a vengeful bitch to get him. Oh, one last dick suck. Come on, let me. Come on. Oh, you break it Up. Oh, all right. Come on. One last time.
D
Crazy.
A
Yo, when they say that that last stick suck be so good.
C
People say that.
A
Yo. Wait, hold up. Let's talk about it.
C
People not say that. And if I say I've never said. Can I please suck your dick one more time? Nobody believe it.
A
What are y' all looking at over there?
D
Anything but anything.
A
What you talking
D
right there? Y. Y, that's freedom.
C
They not allowed to do that.
A
I hate them though. They leave me on the lights of the freedom dog. I'm talking about back in the day.
C
Joe is brave enough.
A
Well, no, I'm. I give it all these. I don't know what they think. I give it all. What are you talking about? Definitely. If y' all are the comp.
D
Yes.
A
Don't believe anyone, please. Anyway, that last zigzag be so good. And as a real. You tell her no.
D
Get off. Baby, get.
A
Stop. No, we can't do that. I'm really mad at what I'm mad at. I really got an attitude with you. No, it's over. We'll never talk again.
C
Niggas don't even talk.
A
One bitch did that shit. I was walking up to the door. We was at the door right at the back. My back end up after the like. Oh, yeah. Drop down and get you. Yo, you killing this for the last time, yo. Yo, your last game, yo. Crazy, right? Freeze.
E
I take your words.
A
I hate you, Marks. I know you got that last dick suck. When that girl checked into the psychiatric home. Come on. I know that head was what you had psychiatric mouth.
C
Cut that out.
A
No, cuz. He was still that girl a little bit before he sent her to the home.
D
Before he realized she had to be psych ward.
C
P that out.
E
Yo.
A
You see the freedom tower.
D
I've never heard his.
A
Parks drove that girl to the he talks about. That was B. She had this twisted Y talking about before you marry.
C
First time I ever heard that story right. We got.
D
I think that's the opposite of what we talking about.
C
A crazy debate about mental health. And Parks finished his joint off with like. And Parks was like. It was a lot of passion in it. And he was like I've been close to that before.
A
It's from that no seen that up close. No. She had his world upside now. I used to call drop studio session
C
was supportive of it as long as he could be. I think that's nice that you. You know.
A
I try Stupid ass me. I thought that at the old house he just had a dartboard up there, cuz he Liked darts. Get your ass. Get your door away. That's pow. That.
C
Oh, my God.
A
I never put the pieces together.
C
Really? Yes. She would hit you.
A
She was hitting that with spoons. Hot spoon. He couldn't do. This is the same space.
C
I think a lot of men have been in DV situations. Don't even realize that's what was going on. And this is just for people at home. If you ever want to know.
A
I just ran so far when that bit. Actually, I know everybody a little D. When had y' all spun around? Yo, I was so afraid he cut that off. He never spoke the hood.
D
He was there.
A
You couldn't even say our name around. Around this. I ain't saying it. No, I know. We banished that from existence.
C
Listen. A good telltale sign for the listeners and watchers at home if. If your girl go to change the radio station and you.
A
You know what I mean?
C
Maybe this like. And it's not cool. For real. Like, it's not. I got a lot of male friends.
E
I hate you go get the song talk.
C
I know girls that talk to the guy and she start with the physical from the door and it's like.
E
And.
C
And. And I'm not. You know, sometimes emotions get high. This back punch you back. It's a whole different kind of situation. It's wrong both sides. But I think a lot of. A lot of my male friends don't know they getting beat the up at home. They don't even realize.
B
Yo, can you believe what Mayor Monvi did?
D
Such a great guy, man.
C
Such a great. So my favorite DV situation. I used to kick a ass back in the day before I went to counseling Parks. What I used to think spared a hand, spoiled a beating on.
A
Is one of your favorite topics on law.
B
It really is.
C
Beat a damn. It might be footage of me whooping a ass somewhere.
E
Wow.
D
You know, speaking of hand, was Kevin on stage?
E
There you go.
A
Kev on Speaking of hand.
B
Speaking of hand.
A
Way to go, Marvin.
B
No idea what's going on with Kevin.
A
Stage Kev beat his dick.
C
That's what they want to talk about.
A
They want to talk about Kevin on stage.
C
Beat.
A
Beat his dick. So the church people were mad about it and they cancel him. They found a interview, all right? Church people. They found an old interview where he was having a blast. No pun or pun. Talking about jerking off. And, you know, I just figured, listen, slow news day.
E
It was old. The old. I thought it was.
B
No, if it's new or old, it's jerking off.
C
Z, this is the thing Though the bulk of his. His. He has a nice amount of Christian father.
B
I thought you.
C
And sometimes. Sometimes they hold him to that standard and I feel like with Kevin on stage. Cuz I'm a fan of Kevin on stage.
B
As a Christian I'm not allowed to jerk off.
D
Yes, yes.
C
You're not allowed to jerk off. Masturbation is a sin.
D
Sex is for reproduction.
B
So how do y' all feel about that?
C
As Muslims ethic is similar. It's a similar thing. You're not supposed to.
B
So no one's. We can't religions.
C
You're supposed to procreate.
E
Only can I go Jewish.
C
Right? It's love.
D
No, that's where it come from. It's Old Testament. Onan a Buddhist. Have you heard of onanism?
A
Buddhist, Buddhist.
E
That's what they.
D
Onan spilled his seed and so the idea is you can't spill your seed.
C
You can't waste the nut.
A
Always comes for the get old.
D
That's where onanism comes from.
A
We didn't.
C
Parks. Parks.
E
Dinosaur.
A
Teach y dinosaur.
D
I'm just telling you.
A
Did Tom Holland play him Christian?
E
Toby did.
C
Fellas.
A
What's up M? We listening?
D
You're not supposed to eat.
A
No, we're not listening.
C
Or butt. None of it is really a drag if you ask me.
B
Sodomy. Oh yeah.
C
Sodomy is illegal in some states. Still. You can't butt in certain states.
A
Well, I'm on my dean on the butt tip. I'm obeying the law. No.
C
Not even on your birthday?
B
It's the third.
C
Not even on New Year's.
A
No, I'm not snooze fest.
C
Anyway.
D
But sodomy is also oral sex.
C
Sodomy is oral sex?
A
Yes.
B
But not if you're eating.
A
I never knew that.
C
I a kn.
A
It's all sodomy.
B
It's still sodomy.
A
Why is oral sexy sodomy?
C
Explain it.
A
Like teach me.
D
If you sodomize somebody, it's not you thought so just put them in the ass.
A
Yeah.
C
That's weird. I thought I knew sodomizing was that,
B
but I didn't connect it eating with sodomycin.
D
Technically it's.
A
It's Mark you doing that whole trans baby thing.
D
Fellatio was more what they're talking about.
B
Okay.
D
Because it was all about what happened inside. It's the Sodom and Gomorrah story. That's what sodomy. All this is just religious like belief.
B
Yes.
D
I was trying to find a nice way to say it, but yeah. Sodomy is on Whatever happened, Whatever happy with. With Sodom and Gomorrah and lot. That's what it's about. It was never really about lesbian action. It was really much more about dudes.
A
I'm Buddhist, but yeah.
D
You're not supposed to do nothing. You're supposed to beat off. You're not supposed to do nothing. Nothing that makes babies.
C
The only time you use that is to put, oh, here. Somebody googled it.
E
It's considered a non sex. I mean a non reproductive sexual act.
A
I took his word for it.
C
Well, he went on Google.
E
No.
B
So a condom is sodomy.
C
Kind of is. Yes. Yes, it is.
A
So yes.
C
You can't Parks most religions, you're supposed to have kids until you can. That's how you're supposed to do it for real.
D
So Kev, so Kev on stage just
B
say, wait, he don't got his connected no more. So he's a sonomizer.
D
You just for nothing. You sitter, you just putting up reps. Yeah, yeah. Oh, you up?
C
Okay. Can I say something?
D
Going to hell.
C
Joe been going there. Kevin Stage has that big Christian following, right?
D
Yeah, that's his base.
C
I don't feel like it's necessarily something that he ain't for or whatever, but that's what he has. Kevin Stage is also Christian. Kevin Stage also loves gay people and is not like the things that some of the Christian base stand for. He doesn't. He's a loving guy for. For a fact. I probably wouldn't have enjoyed his comedy as much if he was super Christian based because it feel like I'm not welcome to there just me not being a Christian. Right.
B
That one dude's funny. That's super Christian too though. Pete Holmes.
C
Pete Holmes. Remind me who that is.
B
The white dude's like a super corny looking white dude. He had a TV show on HBO for a minute. He's funny.
C
Yeah. I probably know him by face, but I said all that to say so over and over. Kev on stage keeps fall getting into these situations where he'll do an interview or he'll say something. It goes against what that bas believe. And then that same base that build them up, up, just tear him the up.
D
That's what they tried to do.
C
They keep doing it. They just did it because he literally went on a podcast and said, well, those aren't my beliefs, but I love all people, I want all people. And they dragged him because they were talking about gay people and he said, I love all people, including gay people. It's like it's stupid.
D
So he woke up trending and was like, what the. But then honestly, it was kind of beautiful to see the response. Cuz everybody. How do you not like Kev? Kev, right. He's one of the nicest people you
E
ever going to meet.
D
He's been up here and killed it. Right? Great father, great husband, loves everybody. Don't say a bad word about nobody. Just a nice guy.
B
Where does Christianity fall on like witch hunting? Because this feels like witch hunting.
C
That's cool.
B
In the hardcore Christian.
C
Yeah, yeah.
D
It ain't just Christianity. No.
C
They literally hunted witches contrasted with the Christians.
D
Yeah.
A
Joel Osteen had out the door that corn.
C
They keep trying to like drag them down. It's weird. It's not like once a month. Once every two months, two, three months. So people just making videos. I stand with Kevin on stage. I jerked off this morning. People was making videos like that.
A
That's a weird jerk off announcement. Rock the vote. Like, Kev, we with you. We love you, man. We love you. We stand by you.
B
Go ahead and yeah, get your off, man.
C
Whack that jerk that do it stage.
E
While you doing it, though.
B
You got to be Kevin while you do that.
E
Monica Santiago.
B
Peter.
C
Yeah, I just met recently. Just met Kevin, his wife. Beautiful couple.
A
Dope.
C
Yeah, nice dope.
D
Keep.
A
Anybody. Anybody found nasty Guthrie yet?
C
One time I caught my ex sleep with a sock on his penis.
A
Huh?
C
That's how I caught my ex sleep with a sock on his dick. Cuz he used to jerk off with the sock. Less mess.
B
Oh, okay.
C
And he was drinking. He was a wild one. He took that drawing down, passed out with the sock. Sleep dick in hand.
E
You beat off in the sock too, cuz. You over there shaking your head like,
B
yeah, I've had a. I've had a jerk off sock before.
E
I've jerked off and cleaned my dick with that.
A
That's. That's different.
E
No, but you could be cleaning your dick with the sock.
B
Sock and still get that last.
D
Talking about in the sock.
A
In the sock, fam.
E
No, not in the sock.
C
It's a hell of visual. It's a hell of a visual.
E
Yo, why you looking at my socks?
B
See if there ain't yellow stains.
C
Who was looking at your socks? Joey.
A
What the is.
C
I said who was looking at the socks? Joey. When I turn to Joey here go Joey. Yes, I was looking.
A
Cuz I think everything is sad by the way. Y' all know that.
C
So once you hear 25%.
A
Yeah, 90%.
C
85.
A
85. Yeah. So once he starts no I never did that. But you wipe it up with. Got it.
E
Put that sock. How do you jerk off with a sock?
C
It's like a pocket babe, kind of. You put a little lotion. It's that moisture and a little. You mean like a little jacket on your master? Exactly. It's like a piece of.
E
In my life.
C
I know, but.
A
And you sent Mona people to Starbucks, too. I don't believe that.
C
Oh, my God.
A
I let him get it off.
D
Yo, Starbucks already talk about this video.
A
We talk. We talked about it already.
D
All right.
A
We talked about it, bro.
C
What y'. All.
A
And when we talked about it, I let him do his lie.
C
Did y' all see the edits, though?
A
Cuz we love Starbucks.
C
Listen, wait a minute.
D
Wait a minute.
C
Wait a minute, guys.
B
Did y' all see the Ed Starbucks down? Which Phelps is around.
D
Don't do that to my man Phelps. Anyway, is that why you don't come no more?
C
No, please. Phelps to come up here right now.
D
Now.
C
Okay. And fight.
A
If you don't mind.
C
That's the first time you gonna see me and Ish break up. Because if Phelps and is fight, I'm jumping in it is side.
A
You'll be back. You'll be back door.
C
I will be back. But did y' all see Phelps response, though?
B
I don't know. We.
C
Oh, so y' all seen it? Okay, good.
D
Yeah, yeah, I texted you about it.
C
I got. I got it queued up.
D
I texted you about. It was.
B
So you don't subscribe the Patreon?
C
No, I work here. The.
D
It's free.
A
I just asked. Hey, did you also tell. Ask if they could go to Starbucks? My guy said no. I left it alone.
C
Oh, he lied.
E
Why I'm lying.
C
Oh, you didn't ask to go to Starbucks. That's a. They lied.
B
He said Dunkin Donuts.
C
What the is the difference, y'? All?
E
I didn't say Dunkin Donuts neither.
D
All right, we moving too fast. Did you send them anywhere but for the water?
E
I sent them for water. Like, they said they bought five or six things of water. They bought two.
C
Now, listen. And Phelps doubled down on that. Phelps said that's not true. Phelps said that. He did bring. He said he had hands full of it.
E
He bought. They bought two cases of water.
C
And Phelps also said that was the one that made the ultimate decision.
E
Whatever the case, no change.
C
Get juice. Told Phelps, Joe, don't. No grown man. Send me the story. Get changed and they get beat. That's. That's what it is.
E
You got him.
C
I got Give you a change, though. I know you a baller.
A
Give me my $150.
D
We talking about missing money.
A
What's in here? Oh, a tampon.
D
Oh.
A
Oh, she got the little. She got a tampon like a Lucy. Hey, hey, that must be the heavy duty. You ain't going to need another one.
C
It's super.
A
No, that's what I'm saying. This little tiny. It's one little lonely.
C
Every woman watching this probably like, oh, my God. Yeah, that's the kind of job this is, girl. You never know what the went.
A
No, for real, y'. All, for real. Because that one tip on. That's just. That's one afternoon. You gonna have to go ahead. It's gonna be a long night.
C
First of all, I have. I have a whole, like, little thing here with. With everything. Like, all my cosmetic stuff in it. In the. In the back.
E
Okay.
C
That's back when Corey was running him through here. Crazy. So I had to lock my shit down.
A
What else doesn't need our attention? But we gonna give it some attention anyway.
D
Well, LeBron. Shout out to LeBron. We're waiting for you, brother. We love you. Please come to Philly.
A
Come on.
D
We need you. Begging.
C
Is he coming, Mark?
A
No.
D
Waiting for that.
C
Is he coming, Parks?
A
No, he'll be in Philly.
C
Oh, he's going to Miami.
D
We'll see.
E
But going to Miami.
D
For real, though, Adam Silver told him last night, you better. I need you to make a decision soon. He said LeBron is literally holding up the NBA schedule. He said, we're trying to put the schedule out, and we can't figure out what the Christmas game is going to be and where it's going to be. And opening day and opening day until LeBron picks a team. That's some power right there.
B
I'm raising my price up now. Are you crazy? I'm just helping him out, bro.
E
And that's why I don't be mad at him when he do like, yo, my. I had this league on my back for the last time in the ever.
B
Years.
E
Years out of here. Y' all could kiss my ass.
D
Yeah, he des. He deserves every dollar he.
C
He.
D
He can get.
C
Almost done.
D
I want him to take less just for my selfish purpose as a team. But he deserves more than they can pay.
C
How many years do this got?
D
I think we'll get him for two more in Philly, but that's not why I want to talk about LeBron.
C
Okay?
D
That's not what I'm talking about. Although, again, we love you. Please, please. Show up to Philly. Please, please, please. Two years. He show up at the time, 100. Like, last night, looking.
A
It looked great.
D
Look great. You look amazing. LeBron, we love you. We got great barbers in Philadelphia. And for the first time, he had a baldy he actually fully let go of. Yeah, and it looks so good. He looks great.
A
All right.
D
It's so great that it's almost like you could have done this two or three years ago. You know what I mean? But people compliment. He had the great beard. He had the bald. The baldy. He looked like an elder statesman. Looks like a million bucks. You should be on the COVID of gq, which they can shoot in Philadelphia. But the question is, like, for me, it was like, as a dude, when
B
do you let it go when you're bald?
E
No, that's not true. I know quite a few dudes that's dog damn near bald and still ain't let it go.
C
Remember the comedian guy I brought up here and I said, he go on tour with me. And y' all made fun of me and said, well, Joe made fun of me and said I'd be fucking him on tour, making him have sex. Sex with me. Either way, he opens for me or whatever. And his hair, Damn. This is probably ignorant to say on a huge. We're here now. I gotta find a new opener. Basically, you could see through that. So he got the low cut. The. Like, it's not a dark Caesar number seven, but just see through, like, see through dress at the top. I could see head right from here to here. Super thin. He came into the show last weekend. Dollars, ball head. I couldn't believe he finally did it. And he should have did it two years ago when I met him.
E
Sometimes just be in denial. And then you were like, all right, I'm gonna go.
D
When did you decide to.
C
To
D
12th grade.
C
Did you have that rough year looking crazy with his see through first, or did you straight just do it?
E
It was. It was looking a little crazy.
C
Who did? Listen, this is the question I really have. Do you come to your man and say, bro, is it tough? It's cold, my. I know you feel that breeze up there. Come home like it's time.
E
I had one of my peoples come to me and was like, yo, like, he's never been. He's never shaved his head. And he was like, yo, my shit getting crazy. Could you direct me somewhere? Like, I gotta let it go now. I can't even play around no more. It's over.
C
Yeah.
E
So I sent him somewhere, but I
C
Know, we make light of it, but it's a huge change. The thought of going from whatever you do, just style with your hair too bald. That's a huge change. I could see why a man would want to do it also. I don't know why all you niggas don't go to Turkey. It works. Why not go to Turkey?
E
It works.
D
It's on my list. I. I don't.
C
Oh, you going. Let me see.
D
Let me.
C
Yeah, you.
D
Oh, look like I got shaped up. McDonald's Nintendo cartridge. If you give me, like two years, I'll go. I'll go. Like, I have no shame about it especially. But you know what it is? I think dudes with hairlines was like women with breasts, right? 10 years ago, 15 years ago, people were ashamed of mittens. They got breast jobs. Now people just say, I got my titties done. Like, it's not a big deal. When we was coming up in the 20s, we used to whisper that in the 20s. In our 20s, people used to whisper that. And now it's just like, people still lie about their ass a little bit, but that's turned around too.
C
Or people throw it as a jab. Oh, you got. Those are not real boobs.
D
Yeah, I paid for them. That's how much I paid.
C
It was taboo.
D
We used to do that with veneers, with, you know, teeth. Now you can do whatever you want. Hairlines is next, though.
E
And the got much better because before
A
was wearing little boobs.
E
Little like Steve Harvey joint hair pieces.
C
And yo, did you join on Tick tock that Steve was missing that first time? You know, if you know anything about Steve Harvey's story, the story is he's broke, he's down to his last dollar. He goes home after his last show. He uses his last 50 cent to get on a pay phone, check his voicemail right after he decides not to do comedy anymore. Because nothing's. Nothing's no paper coming from it. He good. People like it. They talking about him. No paper. Use his last 50 cent, get on the pay phone, and he hears somebody from Apollo and Harlem come up here, you can host. He has to figure out how to borrow $100 to get from down south where he from, up to New York. When he goes to New York for the Apollo to go do it, he has to sleep there. That's how broke this is.
A
Damn.
E
With some chicken.
C
That content, that video of him doing it, if you zoom in from the back, his was going, then y' all never seen that.
D
I never looked at the back yeah,
C
Steve had fake hair the whole time. So that. I mean, because it. It basically went 90 viral when he does that. Ah, the eye. His hair was missing then. Even though it's all black.
A
Are you serious?
C
I could.
A
Thank God we got to the bottom of that.
C
You said it was a slow day. You still complaining?
A
No, cuz I'm over here saying on purpose. I'm not stepping on.
D
And I watched your face. Joe hates this, but he's. He's going.
A
I'm letting go. I'm chilling.
D
Yeah.
B
What's up with laundry? Duh.
C
Okay, let's give the ish's balls and toes and ish. How's your baby toe?
D
So Mary mom Donnie.
C
Exactly.
D
No.
E
What's your man mom Donnie do?
C
More.
D
More beauty. More beauty, man. Yesterday that he was watching the World cup in Rikers island, which he is closing down and he's continuing to do.
A
Marcus Mom. Donny paying you at all?
D
No, not a nickel.
A
But if he did, would you take it?
D
No.
A
Why not?
C
I would.
D
Rock Nation got me on exclusive.
A
Well, that's not true, cuz you wasn't in the Roc Nation portion of Yankee Stadium.
D
No, I got better seats. I was with you.
A
Oh, please, shut the up.
D
And I'm a recluse.
C
I really thought Joe was going to.
D
I want to be away from the parties.
A
Yeah, I know.
D
I want to be. No, no, you wouldn't take money to be. No, I wouldn't take money from anybody. Seriously. Hand a guy all my children. I would not take any money from Mamdani or any other politician that put it on.
E
They hired you for a role or you just saying, like as a promo.
B
Oh. Cause I want that DJ for the 4th of July gig in the store. I'll take that for you.
D
I'm working on that fee. Yeah. I don't mind favors. You know what I mean? Like that doing a favor for somebody. But I'm not getting paid to do the favor, you know, I mean. But no, I wouldn't. I don't want to roll up in a. My job is to be a critic. I'm a paid. Paid pest, right? My job is to be on the outside saying what's wrong. And even though I happen to like mom Donnie, if he does some up, I can't say something about him if I'm paid by him.
B
Fair.
D
I mean, think about all the fucked up shit I don't say about you now.
A
Because that's facts.
D
You know what I mean?
C
So.
D
Yeah, I don't. I don't. I don't Want that on the political side of things. No, I'm chilling. But he was in Rikers island with the. Some. Some folks, some incarcerated folk watching the World cup, reminding people that people who are incarcerated are human. Human beings. You know what I mean? While. And working on some shit. And then he just rejected. This is the bigger point. He rejected his salary increase. They passed the salary increase for the mayor and for city council, and he's letting city council rock. But he's saying, I don't know. I'm not going to take another dollar, leave the money on the table. He said, the voters, when they said all the things wrong with New York, everybody who voted for me, not one of them said, the mayor doesn't make enough, so I'm not going to take the money.
A
Commendable. Yeah, there's.
D
I love that, man.
B
What they going to do with the money? It can't be that much money.
D
I think I forget what it was into the.
A
The city owned fine fairs that they making.
D
Whatever he doing. I'm. Y. Have y. Would y' all ever do. Is there ever a job y' all would have? Maybe even here where y' all feel like, you know, I'm not doing it well enough. I don't deserve an increase. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
B
Trying to think of a situation.
A
You lost me with the first part. There's no job where I would say to myself, I'm not doing it well enough. I don't deserve an increase. There will be jobs where I just say, I'm not taking an increase.
D
Okay, okay, that's fair.
A
But it wouldn't be because I'm performing
D
so poorly or just I don't deserve an increase is probably a better way. Like, Mamdani's not saying he's not performing well, but he's saying, like, my job is to make the voters happy and to meet the needs of the vote. Voters that ain't on the list.
A
Did the market freeze. Is everything, like, frozen in the time capsule for the next 10 years or so?
D
It's an interesting question. I mean, he could argue he's overpaid.
E
I was just gonna say he might.
D
He might not feel or he might not need it.
A
Well, Mom, Donnie is different because that's. That's his brand. Yeah. That's political office. I get it. That's.
D
And he's a socialist.
A
Yeah.
D
So that's what I'm saying. So I am comparing apples to oranges a little bit. But for y', all, what would. Basically, I'm asking for y', all, then
B
I've Taken shorts to, like, help a project do. Like, put this money somewhere else so the project can do better.
D
For sure.
B
Like that.
D
Oh, that's for sure.
B
For sure.
A
Yeah. I would definitely do all I would do for that.
D
Yeah. Even if you weren't getting money on the other end.
C
Right.
E
Or. Or I've. I've finished projects and I ain't finish them in time, and I'll be like, yo, just because it was an inconvenience, if I ain't finishing in time, you could kind of eat it.
B
Yeah. I work in the music business. I'm tired. Used to taking shorts for one reason or another. This is standard practice.
D
But what you're doing. Because that sounds standard. What you're doing isn't.
E
Right.
D
Like in construction.
E
No, it's the same thing. To your point. So if. If I gave you a timeline, let's say I gave you a timeline of four months to finish your job and I finished in six. That's really me not performing up to par.
D
Yeah.
E
So I'll be like, you got it.
D
No, I'm saying it's not common for contractors to give it back because I had a contract to do some on time ever. No, everything is late. And they all want their money. In fact, usually they take their money up front and then don't and then don't do the work.
E
So.
D
Yeah, so, yeah, I don't. I don't typically give money back or. Or not take the raise at a job, but as a contractor, absolutely. I do that all the time. Same thing, like, to help a project get done. So I just thought it was dope. I just thought it was a dope message.
E
That's fine.
D
And even if it's performative in some ways, like, who cares?
E
And it stops the critics from saying, yo, you put a rent freeze on us, increasing our rent, but you took a higher salary. So as a landlord, your job is to provide safe and adequate housing. That's your job.
D
Yeah.
E
So if you're going to get a raise at your job, how the you going to stop us from getting a raise at our job? I think it's him silencing the critics from that angle.
D
That's kind of a good point.
C
It's just.
A
And we are back during the break. We had a little HR session. Sure thing.
C
Like, right, let the fans at home guess who. Who, who was in trouble.
A
Somebody. Not. No, ain't nobody in trouble, man. We a family. We all bro on some bro. But somebody in here said to somebody else in here, hey, is that what it feel like, when you playing with that fat puss. When you playing with. And then I was like, okay, that's definitely an HR conversation.
C
And then the person with the puss
A
said, hell, yo, Mona, stop.
E
You going give me a real.
A
You going to give me a real case? I almost edited you out the whole last. Oh, it's unsafe.
D
It's hot.
C
Oh, my God.
A
Can't talk enough of you. Don't say that. And then you go to Wilmington, start thumping with.
D
Shut up.
A
Out of here.
C
Back to the H. Or not
A
too soon. It's me and you, though.
E
It's me and you.
A
Not or not is true. Hey, you could tell when somebody. Forget it, man. Forget it, man. Yeah.
C
What's up next? Next pile. I'mma coming. That gonna be sitting right here. We hire somebody.
A
No, no, that'll be on Mark's Patreon. That's how Mark moves. Don't let one of y' all do something outside and gain some heat. Mark interviewing them and Brian McKnight together until.
D
Yeah, I need to. Mark, funny man. People like you subscribed. I wouldn't have to do this.
A
How your Patreon doing?
D
It could use some support.
A
I'm not supporting. I don't care.
D
I'm saying to people watching.
A
Oh, okay.
D
I know you ain't gonna support me.
C
Are you subscribed to Mark?
A
You now? Hell, no.
C
Are you subscribed to Mark?
A
I pay Mark enough, huh?
C
Are you subscribed to mine?
A
No.
C
Wow.
A
Wow.
C
Damn. Crazy.
D
You see. You see that, Mona?
A
It's rough, but I am watching some. Something weird. They got a girl on there that remind me of you.
E
A girl on there.
C
What you watching?
A
It's on now. If you live in America, you can catch this doc on Hulu, okay? It's called Squatters, Slash get the Fuck Out My House. Right? And they short episodes. Seriously, they short episodes. They're only 20 minutes. That's why I like it. Because they get right to the bottom of things. They get right. They tell you who it is, what they did, and what went on. In the first episode, this lady was selling out. Well, in all the episodes, a lady was selling a house. That's where you go wrong. Go ahead, try to sell some shit. And you ain't living in that motherfucker. So she tried to sell the house, but she ain't in there. So this girl came over there and she had manufactured a fake lease and a fake paperwork and. And fake this. And she went and she. The house was empty. She changed the lock. And then they went up in there. And this was a white lady that was selling the house with a white friend. Older lady, sweetheart. White lady. Not. Not like the white people. You won't let your kids hang around. Sweet white lady.
C
I'll be the judge of that.
A
And this girl that moved in, they.
D
They ruined.
A
They brought sledgehammers. Yeah, in every episode, it ends with the squatter tearing the house up.
C
Cuz they got to leave.
A
Now the second episode. Now the first episode, the. That moved in and did that foul the. She remind me of you a little bit. The second episode, homie. Remind me of Kino, cuz Keno has tried this move. Homie ain't changed the lock. He put a whole new door on there. He put a whole new door on the house. Put a flag on some mark in the window with some symbols.
D
Yeah, Sovereign citizen, right?
A
Bingo.
D
Yep.
C
Yeah, them sovereign.
A
Bingo.
D
Oh, I. I watch every shout out
C
to the cyber community. Community. I know you're on the side of the road right now being manhandled because you didn't told this cop 10 times. You ain't got no social. You don't want to hear that. Getting smashed on the hood of the car.
E
I do not subscribe.
C
And now you're being dragged to the county. Free all the suburbs.
D
Yeah, they be him up while y'.
C
All.
A
Y' all sovereign. Y' all original land Sovereign.
C
I like them.
A
Y' all can't come to somebody crib talking about my. My ancestors owned this whole land, so your house is mine. No, you can't.
D
There's a place where they do that a lot.
C
It got done. They had to get a new door.
D
I have no thoughts on the matter.
A
Yeah, word, bro.
C
They be so. I ain't never seen a on that subway. Oh, wait.
A
I see what y' all doing. Wait, now. Now, let me make it clear.
D
Let me make. Back it down.
C
Put it up.
A
No, no, no. I see what y' all doing. Let me make it clear. Christopher Columbus. I. I agree with the premise.
D
I agree with the premise.
A
So don't try to paint me out to be that guy. All this shit ours.
C
The facts. It's a fact.
A
Now, with the system that the people put in place, we can't go about it. That. That, that. That way we can't.
E
They got the system.
A
Now, lucky for homeboy, when you are. When you claiming that Sovereign.
D
He's a Moore too. I think he put the Moore shit up too.
A
Yeah, it's federal, so the FBI gets involved. And once it's federal, we can come in there and get you out of there. So that person locked up. But if it's not federal, you call the cops and they say, oh, this is a civil matter. Then the squatter gets to stay in there for 60 days, 45 days. And you just out there. Fuck, they could do whatever they want to your house. The lady that's like Mona, she had all these people in and out of the crib fucking party.
C
Why the do the person have crack parties in the abandominium? Why would the would that remind you of me?
A
Well, I think all humans have good and bad days. I think on your good day.
C
So sometimes some questions I was mad
D
at you for asking.
C
Why did I ask it? Why am I lining myself up for this?
A
Oh, and I owe my mom an apology because she texted me all week since the last part and said I got to come in here and apologize for calling her a bum for being stuck outside the gym. We knew that was going to happen.
D
That's fair.
A
Yeah, we knew. And she was serious about it. So mom, you know how to bum. I'm sorry. I don't know what even mom get it. I don't know what got into me.
C
Even mom gets it.
A
Everybody get it.
C
For the sake of the job, feel better.
D
Yeah, that's what I say.
C
Feel better.
D
For the sake of the job.
A
Everybody got to get it.
C
Why though? Like you have to sit on already a success but you making Joe. I have a belief in my chest that if you sat here in your pajamas by yourself, they would still tune in.
A
They.
C
They would, right?
A
Are you kidding me?
C
So they would. You ain't got to make us the
D
big tells us every negotiating session.
A
No, don't do that. That would be an additive. That's a whole separate show me in my pajamas. What the the that got to do with y'?
C
All?
A
I ain't fire y'.
E
All.
A
Y' all come into this. And Friday I got this show that's a brand new. That's a brand new show. Me in my pajamas. You shouldn't me.
C
The people have been saying they want a new segment. Find Mona a man. Have you all read the whole comments?
A
Not a one. Not a one.
C
Now, we would have 20 minutes of content of me shuffling, shuffling through all the submissions.
A
Why is it so hard for you to find a man?
C
I don't know. I think it's. I didn't have a dad.
D
What?
A
All right.
C
No, I know how to put a D on the topic. Quick.
A
Listen.
C
My lack of having a father.
A
It is with great pain, sorrow and regret that I have to inform You. At the time of this broadcast, there will be no more Nissan Ultimas being manufactured, distributed or sold. The gold one now, if you were born, if you're from the 19s, 19 anything. Yeah. The Nissan Ultima was a very important car. And in your upbringing.
B
That's a fact.
A
And the girl you was upbringing. This car you could put at least 600,000 miles on and it was reliable, it was dependable. Yeah. I mean, didn't steal it. Hey, you could come out. The first car I crashed was a Nissan Ultima. Shout out to Rachel wherever you at. That was her car. I tried to make a right. I was in the fourth lane over. Yo, when you driving a chick car that ain't yours, you just start doing nuts. I crashed the out of that Ultima, everybody. That shit's the mechanic that said a prayer and that car was ready in an hour. Ultima don't take long. What's your deductible? It'll get it done. So anybody out there again has ever had a Nissan Altima? It's a sad day for us. Some people stated that fog and smog was from Canadian wildfires. I beg to differ. It was sadness. It was painful from families out there who depended on this vehicle to be able to get back and forth to work and take care of everybody. Man, go ahead. Let the beat rock, man. Go. Let the B rock. Give it to him. Damn. Sorry, sorry. Sorry to bring them around. Move down, y'.
C
All.
A
But Nissan Ultima is important, man. Rest in peace.
E
Definitely was.
D
What's the. What's the. The modern version of the Ultima.
E
That's what I just tried to look
A
up and ain't wrong. The modern version. I'm.
D
I'm not sure or like this generation, like what they. I mean, Camry still. Camry still.
E
Yeah, Camry, Camry around. But I don't think. I don't think it's that, though.
B
It could be a kid.
C
It's a kid, cuz it kid.
A
Nice is a luxury car. Luxury vehicle.
D
Some of them little ones, not the
C
ones that's just like Nissan makes some, but they also make the Ultima. It's like Maximas are nicer than Ultimas. Can't Kia, Kia make some nice cars, but they also make a Ultima. That's what we saying.
A
I'mma go Accord.
D
The court definitely.
A
I'mma go Accord.
C
Honda Accord, y'.
B
All. Cord's a good car.
A
Yeah.
E
But the Ultima was like the chick car. That's what you're saying and it was cheap.
D
Oh, that's a good one. Hyundai Elantra might be it again. That might be it.
E
Accords ain't cheap.
B
Yeah, they not.
C
I had a Ultima. I ain't never had a Honda.
D
The tracks.
A
What happened to it? Yep.
C
With the Ultima?
A
Yeah.
C
I pulled off with the gas pump inside of it.
A
Like I knew something. Like she lost it. I was like, oh, something.
E
Yo, you pulled off with the gas pump inside and what happened?
C
Yes, I'm a hell of a driver.
E
And then what happened?
D
I could tell Bob faster the exact for that.
A
You get here so fast. I know you be speeding down the highway, babe.
C
I don't even drive here, fellas. But no, I don't know. You know, I had a lot of cars.
A
You know what's the best car you ever had?
C
That was the answer.
A
Oh, yeah. What's the. What's the best car you ever had? Besides Cherokee.
E
Cherokee. Cherokee.
C
I had a range with rangers is shitty. Ranges aren't good cars.
A
I seen Flip driving down the street. Whatever car he was in that looks so different from when he first got it.
D
What car?
A
Whatever car he was in when I
D
first met Flip using a Ferrari.
C
Damn.
D
No, Lambo. Lambo. Excuse me.
A
Yeah, it wasn't that. It definitely wasn't.
E
What's wrong with the car? It looked better or worse?
A
It looked. It looked very different.
D
It looked.
A
I don't want to say worse, but it didn't look.
E
Car wash.
C
Damn.
A
Yeah.
E
Need a car wash. Car wash should change.
C
The whole house was in a Ferrari.
D
I was impressed. Lambo. I was impressed like a. This is my first time meeting him. I did some content with him in Newark. He pulled up in that joint. I was like, God damn. You getting money at your button podcast.
A
What car I should get for my birthday.
C
What should the rich get like you rich ass questions?
A
No, I just did it to draw. I'm joking.
C
I wouldn't want to get a transpass.
E
What's your favorite car?
D
Favorite?
E
Oh, your best. Like he was at.
D
Besides the Porsche one, I had a Mybok.
A
Besides the Porsche, I had a.
C
You had a Maybach.
B
Yeah, a Maybach.
C
What is it? Pronounce it all correctly.
D
Out of my box, out of my body.
C
He's a Maybach.
A
One of them called a cop on raccoon Maybach.
C
Which one is worth calling cops on the raccoon or getting restrained order on
A
a. I can't believe it's did that. I learned so much.
D
You was telling me for calling the cops on The. On the cool.
B
Yes.
C
On a four legged creature.
B
A dead one at that.
C
A dead one.
D
I didn't know. Yeah, right.
A
You were worse.
D
No, I ain't worse.
C
No, you out your mother.
A
I never guessed that. Me, Mona and Parks were like the half of this pod that ain't on that like y'.
C
All.
D
I could have, you know, you start this pod with why you think I'm not a snitch?
A
Why you think I'm not? Yeah, why do you think that? I don't want to mis. Mislead anybody, but I haven't done it. That's word. That's me saying it.
D
You just saying you would.
A
That's you taking my word from me saying it. I ain't been. I ain't been in no precinct, you know, I mean, I ain't found no paperwork. It's okay, bro. She had you under pressure, dog. Ain't what I heard. Hey, maybe you. You heard what I heard, though. You better chill out. You better chill out. Tell them what you heard. That's a good time telling what you heard going You.
E
I mean.
A
Oh, please.
E
Yeah, you better chill out.
A
Yeah, I know. Hey, it was a lie. It was a rumor. It was non factual, unfounded without basis.
D
We'll find out. I have them on my Patreon, dog.
A
If I r. If I r it on are rushed to the Internet to say it. And it was a small portion of my career where they were saying it.
C
Was they.
A
They was saying that about me?
C
Was they.
D
They just made it pre for something else?
A
No, they didn't make up about another. I went to Ransom's block, did something stupid. He did something stupid back. Cops did something stupid to his house. He went to jail. And then a CEO I think was telling him that I said something about him.
D
Got you.
A
That's what happened.
D
You would say off the record. That don't count. I got you.
B
Shout out to Ransom, man.
A
Shout out to R. I love you.
C
We need that movie done for real.
D
Do I love how all your old beefs and this is no sarcasm like, like you in a place where you could tell that story, tell it objectively and be like, I love you. Like, like, are all your beefs done?
A
Yeah. Yeah.
D
There's nothing that still lingers.
A
No, that's one of my favorite parts of all my beefs is the. The resolution part of it. I'm telling you it is. Mona.
C
Oh, what?
A
I've made amends with everybody I need to make amends with.
C
Have you?
A
Everybody that I need to make amends with.
E
Nothing that needs.
D
That's a tricky word.
E
Yeah, everybody that. That you need is the tricky. I'm just saying everybody that you've had static with, you made amends with.
A
No, that I've known. Everybody that I knowingly wronged, I've made amends. Okay, let me not say that more trickier, cuz I don't want to say that. There might be somebody out there saying, hey, me and them need to kick it. I don't know. I don't know that person. Everybody I could think of was where something foul happened, something shady happened where I needed to hold myself accountable. I have apologized to those people and definitely in rap land. And not just me on the rap tip, like me and other people to. It take two people to kind of mature. It take two people to grow up. It took me and Rand. It took me and whoever the fuck Banks. It took me. And there's a bunch of them out there game like two niggas had to grow up.
D
So that's real.
A
That's that on there.
D
Fucking you mark.
B
What else?
D
What else?
A
What else? Y' all was telling me something about United. United is doing something with the flights.
E
If you want, come on.
A
Commercial flyers. No, tell them for real, cuz.
D
I didn't hear the story.
E
That was crazy. You just flew commercial.
A
I fly in commercial. What are you talking about?
D
So don't let. Don't. Can't take a.
A
Everything you got.
D
Just go ahead.
E
No, so United. United is pitching some where now. If you get economy plus, you could pay for the middle seat so nobody sits in the seat.
C
Oh, I like it. I love it.
A
But why couldn't you pay for the middle seat before? Like, what's the difference?
E
It's like a discount discount. So nobody else could buy that middle seat and take it. So if you and your lady traveling, y' all could get the middle seat free. And then they got this new thing.
A
Oh, she can sit the.
C
With me now for a hand job on the way.
A
Hey, freeze. They go, yeah, hand job straight there. Hey, freeze. You hear me?
D
No, I didn't hear you.
A
All right. I didn't hear you.
C
What can make a flight better other than a hand job? You know what I mean?
B
There's. There's upgrades.
A
Think of at least one.
B
At least one.
D
But wait, you could stay.
C
Sneak it.
A
Y. You ever seen that video?
E
That wasn't a video game. It was a board game. It was a little called Hungry Hungry Hippo. You don't remember?
C
I want you to stop right now. I want you to stop right now. I Can't believe you like you two for two. What's up with you?
E
That's it.
C
Stop fight. It is you turn another color my.
A
You remember designer was on the airplane whacking it?
C
Yes, bro, designer's having a rough week.
E
Yeah, he having a rough week.
C
He's still having a rough week.
B
He's still going.
C
He's in the press right now. He's having mental health issues. For real. For we watching that unroll, unwind. I'm about to look it up now. But yeah, Designer's back in the press. And every time he's in the press, it's always some that I make you say what the is wrong with him? Which leads me believe there's something really wrong with him.
A
This is dv, right?
B
Yes, Dave.
C
It says. Can I read it?
A
And back to the phone stuff. Go ahead, please read it.
C
Rapper designer. No, dude, you're really here. Rapper designer arrested after allegedly chased his baby mom with a hammer, throwing her to the ground while she held their child. Damaged a neighbor's property during domestic dispute. My problem I have with it is his mug shot. Looks like Martin did when he went to that retreat. Remember when Martin went Nick named himself Sunflower. He had half braids, half girly. This is crying out for help.
D
Naji Rumba.
C
I'm not making fun of of him.
E
He look just like that.
C
He look like.
A
He look like Jerome.
D
Really.
C
But I ain't write this down. This is me looking at him right now. He look up, bro, this need help. I hate the fact that we'll watch it unravel and then assess that they need somebody go pick this up and get him some help. Man, this jerking off on frontier flights
B
the right place to do that?
C
Yeah, you jerk off on the Delta.
B
Kev would never.
C
That's crazy. Park's so funny.
E
But now they. They introduced it also. Three lay back bed seats in economy plus.
C
I'm with that.
B
Oh, that's yes
E
gonna try that.
A
Oh, y' all can finally join the Mountain High club. Now, some of y'.
E
All.
C
I'm not even gonna join in.
A
Yes, I'm in the mountain.
C
Ain't no way you're not. You gotta be on it.
A
I'm 11. Legend.
C
Was you. Was you in the club before Jack?
D
I would have thought that would have been like your first business.
C
So what do y' all just go
A
to the bathroom and that's what I did.
C
Oh, was it good? Is it good or is it too. Cuz it's so small there.
A
She was little.
D
I haven't Either.
E
I just thought you would n too
C
say I'm so naughty.
E
She was like barely fit in the bathroom myself.
D
It's a size issue.
C
I get it, guys. That's what I just asked. How you comfortably fitting in there? I know you with all that horse. They can't get up in there. But what I'm saying is the. That some bro, though. No freaky. But at the end of the day,
A
I think that's some HR too.
D
Definitely some hr.
B
Thank you.
C
That's my brother. Bro.
A
At no job can you say, how do you manage to do it with all that horse dick?
C
Your brother? You can say that. That's my brother.
A
One of y' all say it.
C
Let's practice. Joe, you say it to him, huh? You say it to him now and see if it's sexual him like on some bro. Just say it.
A
Say, I wouldn't say it to him. I've been in the room with him
E
before
C
you had horse dick, you wouldn't be able to fit in that. Jo. Go ahead, tell him.
D
Go ahead, tell him,
C
cuz. Why is it against the rules?
A
I don't want to be who. Who in here got horse dick? For real. I don't want to be uncomfortable potting with you. Fire. Go ahead and say it. Somebody.
C
When the person rolling and what size dicks they throw. Everybody had it. It was me. They don't believe it.
A
This guy is nuts.
B
Any who, I had a great.
C
This has been a great pot. I had a good time.
A
I thought I had horse dick until I seen a horse dick.
C
Yo. You ever see one in the.
A
You got to see one.
C
Especially you got to see one.
A
Let me shut up. Everything I'm thinking is, hey, rethought it. Hey, I didn't go to a lot of zoos when I was younger.
D
Farms there. Yo, yo.
C
And dogs and cats too.
D
You haven't seen a zoo.
A
You know the pigeon. There?
E
That's crazy.
A
Wait, they ain't at the Bronx Z.
C
No, no, they not.
A
Oh, they in Central Park. Killing, killing everybody.
C
Getting killed, getting dragged and abused.
E
This guy is crazy.
C
That's a horrible life, man.
B
They should free them horses and listen.
C
You should not get on them, cuz
A
the that died was just trying to save his mom. That's the up Bart.
B
Yeah.
A
On the horse in Central Park.
C
I'm not familiar with that story.
A
The horse. The horse got. The horse got. Wow. Start trampling.
C
Wait a minute, wait a minute. The horse got wild and had a seizure. What is he doing?
A
Wild as in not listening to the human. As in Rambunctious. We out. I'm doing my own thing. And he started. And he started bugging out. And the mom, I guess, fell out of some shit and was about to get trampled. So the son got out to try to protect the mom. And he's the one to die because he tramped.
C
They trampled on him. Yeah.
D
It was over.
C
Because one thing horses do when they get upset, they just start going up in the air on two feet, on two, wild out, whatever.
D
That's why I don't with horses, man.
C
But that's why you're not supposed to.
A
That's why I ain't got no order.
C
You're not supposed to patronize those people. Parks. You're not supposed to go pay those people for a ride around Central park because you're supporting a horrible business.
B
This.
C
Them horses are treated like.
B
I agree.
A
If y' all had a horse dick, y' all be faithful. Look at. Look at jerk.
B
It probably ain't that many places you can put that thing. So you probably have to be faithful
D
about that.
A
I'm just listening to answers is how
C
do you live with that?
D
How do you operate?
C
You mean like in and out of commercial flights, gyms, how do you good them shorts? Like, how did you get in them? All that. Y' all don't listen to my boy HR My boy made it clear it's cool. We can leave it there, man. But we sitting with a bunch of kids, man.
D
Subscribe to the.
C
To the other.
A
We subscribe to some a nothing. You subscribe to a mind. This topic is coming up again. Let me just. Don't get false hopes out there. All right? So we done with the United seat?
B
I think we. I think we got to the.
C
We want to know does it cheaper? That's what we need to know.
E
I'm assuming I'm. I'm going to assume it's probably less than the three seats.
B
But plus.
E
But it comes with a table. Like, you could put a table in the middle for extra arm room.
B
Also, if you buy a seat and leave it open and the shit's booked up, won't they stuff someone up in there?
C
Well, they will sell that.
D
People always say people, you buy two seats. Have you ever bought two seats?
C
Might sell that seat because I was here.
D
I'm asking because like always, people say you could buy two seats. I've never seen it actually happen. I'm not saying it can't. I just. Just don't know how that logistically happens.
E
If you buy two seats, you'd have to Put another passenger name on the seat.
D
That's what I'm saying.
E
And then once that person don't check in, they're going to fill that seat.
D
That's what I'm saying. That's why I don't know how you can actually get it off. That's what I'm saying. I can't do like two Mark Hills.
A
Right.
D
So I, I want to know how you do.
C
There never would be.
D
It felt facts, that's. It felt like a myth that people. It started to feel like that to me cuz I never met one. I actually did. I know. I've seen them tell overweight people they have to pay for two seats.
A
Well, one Mark Hill got two marks on him.
D
But. But I was the onlybody that really happened to only see it like in stories. I just don't know enough.
A
Before y' all get to that United, why don't y' all just check all the planes and that back row of first class. Fix them seats.
D
Well, they suck.
A
Why don't y' all do that?
E
Nah, they, they got better.
D
Oh please, the front row sucks too.
E
No, no, no, the back row got better. The old back row didn't used to recline, you know.
A
Funny, I don't be mad at the front row until I remember famous. That's when it's bad.
D
It's bad for that.
A
Or they all come in.
D
Oh, and if you don't check it back, you can't slide your book back under nothing. So you still got to get up.
E
No, they give you the shelf right there on the side.
D
The shelf on the side when you
E
walk in the plane, it's a. Oh yeah.
D
See, I don't like all that.
A
They give you a closet up there.
E
Closet.
D
Yeah. I don't like that. And that closet's for all everybody up there.
A
It's not, it's not for everybody.
B
It is for.
D
Yeah, that's why I hate back.
B
You can put, you can put a soup up there.
D
Like I like to, I like to like sit down, have my book bag under underneath so that one.
A
Look at them, they trying it.
B
But I put my little.
D
But I'm saying like it's a complexion for the connection. You can't like just get up and grab.
C
I want American. I want American to lose a little money. They sell that, you buy the 10 ticket and you could get a comfort ticket for like 100 bucks more. I did that the other day. The comfort ticket got me in emergency seating, which is extra space, blah, blah. Yeah, those seats don't recline at all.
E
Right.
C
Not reclining. My drone was like this. I was getting ejected half the flight at the flight. I was like tripping out that seat. They charged me extra for me to sit up like that.
D
And you gotta be a firefighter. If the flame crash.
C
Oh my God. And then. And they really like, oh. Do you agree that you'll help people with it? Of course I will. Step on kids to get off this.
A
Never helping them. Kill me with that question.
E
In the event of emergency, you're gonna help out? Yeah.
C
This me using some for a little floaty out of here. Getting off. This your grandma here? That's my school or what? I'm out. Yeah.
A
Spectacular from Pretty Ricky uploaded a video recently where he was trying to catch a fly. The dude at the at the gate slammed the door in his face. So Spectacular started recording, talking about, yo, you gonna treat me like that? You gonna do me like that? You gonna slam the door? And then he showed him the guy opening the door for somebody else. So Spectacular went and he put his phone face forward to him. He started making a video, doing a call out to the fans. Fans, listen to this bullshit that happened to me. So I was on Southwest and that's when I stopped. Hey. Hey, Spectacular. Yo. Hey. Sorry, buddy. Good for you. Hey, my activism. I'm not. I'm not calling upon my activism. Cause you got at the Southwest gate. Sorry.
D
Yeah, I'm with you on that.
A
Sorry, buddy. I gotta save my. That was a freefall. I can't activist for any big body.
D
Not for Southwest. You got what you deserve.
E
Crazy. Sorry.
A
I activist for weird.
E
No, I just. My girl told me the other day they was looking up flights to go to Portugal. So one of her girlfriends hit her and was like, yo, it's an airline. I want to say the airline got flights for $800, which is cheap, right? Yo, my. You had to pay to pick your seat.
C
Yeah, that's how it is, boy. Now you sound like him. Listen, the cheaper flight joints, that's how they get you. Not only do you have to pay to pick your bag, you got to pay for every bag, even your wallet. Carry on like they be serious about it. You can't bring nothing but your balls and your dick on the flight. And you know they going to charge you three times for that. They didn't tripled up.
A
Go ahead.
C
My ticket, cuz. The weight on him, they may integrate on a scale when you got it. Wait. They said, wait a minute. That ain't in his arms, right? That dragon ain't he brother. And sister, I'm dragging a wagon.
A
You dragging a dragon?
C
Yes, Mr. Baxter.
A
Back to back the dragon. Back the dragon. Oh my God, I can't wait.
C
You see these niggas believe in dragons.
A
I can't wait to see Mark go to Hal Williams from this. That's all that's left. Mark.
D
You know what they say about there's nothing.
A
There's nothing else no about to say. Oh no, that's crazy.
D
I got. I mean we should all do a nice rest in peace though for the great Hal Williams who passed away. Yeah.
A
Ish. Not stepping on the horse dick too. Trying to let it linger. He's so corny.
D
He's so corny.
C
Let that shit rest.
A
He trying. He trying to give it a week out there. Let people hear the pot. He's so corny. Anyway, Mark, he ain't step on it once. You keep throwing it. That shit heavy handed like yeah,
C
hate.
A
I hate hate but I hate like
D
that
A
but will not step on it.
E
A
A
this can't keep throwing the love. Yo, that heavy worded boy. Wait, this about the short circuit
B
I
C
used to talk about.
A
I'm sorry Mark. That's a guy. I'm sorry Mark.
D
He had nice natural segues. We want to say a rest in peace to one of the legends of Hollywood and certainly one of the members of black Hollywood royalty. The great Hal Williams, who passed away at the age of 91. For our generation generation, he was known as Lester. He was the father on 227. He to me was one of the great TV dads. You know, at a time where it was rare to get a black TV dad, he became.
C
I'm sorry.
A
Yeah, he put sauce. He just started putting sauce on there.
D
What's that?
C
How was he one of the great.
D
That nigga was.
A
Was not one of the great TV dads.
C
Wasn't nowhere at all.
A
No, not a top 20.
D
Tell me why.
C
Because we seen 227. Cuz when we talk about TV dads, we never think about 227.
A
Nobody ever said I'm ARG.
C
It's only one kid on 227. Regina King. Who the other one?
A
Mark lying his ass. I think he's one of that Serious
C
Almost took it serious.
A
You do not think he's one of the greatest tv.
D
Have y' all ever been to a eulogy before?
A
Cuz Mark is a liar. We sad that he passed, but not not get the on.
D
I think he's want to get TV dad.
C
Be honest.
D
He was a path breaker.
A
Don't let Us start including some of the white dads he gonna fall to,
C
like, oh, my God, Bottom Joey and them. What's the dad from Full House?
A
Y. The, the Full House uncles.
C
They was. Yeah, it was Joey.
D
So let me ask you a question.
C
And the dad.
D
We're still recording, right?
B
Yes, of course.
D
So let me ask you a question. Name three great TV dads before him. Black TV dad, John Amos.
C
Listen. Damn, damn, damn. That's a good one.
D
Bill Cosby was at before him. That's the point is, in the 1970s, you couldn't have black TV dads.
C
Sanford, Sanford, Sanford.
D
You think Fred Sanford was a better dad?
C
He was funnier.
A
He was a better TV dad than how.
D
How was he more memorable as a father than.
A
This was Good Times.
C
That's John Amos.
A
He speak it already and it won.
E
John Amos was a better dad.
D
What do you mean by better? What are we talking?
E
We talking about two different things in every facet. I'm not. No disrespect to this gentleman. I'm not trying.
A
You're worried st is disrespect to this gentleman? No, no, no, you just lying.
D
I'm not lying. I just have, first of all, as somebody's eulogy. We don't, we don't, we don't use that. I know you been to a zoo. You been to a funeral before.
A
300 joints at the strip club. This died owing me 300. And George Jefferson his mad dads.
C
Okay, well, let me at least say the dads that when you say, great.
D
How about this? How about this? Let me give this man his eulogy. And then y' all can, y' all can disagree after I, I
C
that. So what I was saying was, what did you consider a good time? Tv, they like, they had good characteristics. They were like good people.
D
So that's what I was trying to explain. Okay, But y' all cut it off.
C
I'm sorry, I apologize. I'm done.
D
So in the 1970s, in the 1960s, there were almost no black TV dads, right? In the 1970s, there were. In fact, there's almost no black families intact. Families.
A
The Jeffersons came out in 75 just
E
for the record and 227 albums.
D
Can y' all just let them cook?
E
Let them cook.
D
All right, man, If y' all would, if you would listen, you'd understand what I'm trying to say.
E
Okay, okay.
D
What I'm saying is, is that black families were not shown on Television in 1960, 1970s. It was usually a black single mom. That was the point. So Like Esther Roll, for example, had to fight to have a husband on the show. So yes, Fred Sanford was a great dad, but he was not part of an entire family because, excuse me, not Esther. Elizabeth was what? Dead? And Lamont was like a grown ass man. So that's not what. I'm not talking about him. You know what I mean? When you look at shows like that's My Mama, we go down the whole whole list. That's not what it is.
A
Who was the dad in mash? And so we could just start naming who is the dad in the Love Boat.
D
So when you. This crazy. I'm crazy for saying he was one of the great TV dad?
B
Yes.
D
Okay, okay, let's say it differently.
C
Leave it there.
D
I want to send love to how Williams, who was not one of the great TV stars.
A
There you go.
C
Anyway, his daughter is typing up her email to this podcast.
D
So in the 1970s, so when you get to 1980s, it was the first moment where you started to see whole black families and black fathers actually present Black fathers actually parenting their children. Not their grown ass junkmen partners like at San Francisco, which is a great show, you know what I mean? But actually parenting and raising their children. John Amos is another one. Bill Cosby's another one. They're all. But Bill Cosby comes in that same era as227, except he wasn't rich.
A
Who was the dad?
D
Except he wasn't rich. Except he wasn't a doctor in Brooklyn. He was an actual working class man who came to work every day in D.C. came home to his family in an apartment and raised their family, gave them good values, disciplined them, didn't beat them. John Amos but actually raised their children, talked to them and parented and parented daughters. This is something that we just didn't see a lot. And he's part of that generation, that first generation of whole black families that we saw on television. And he was a great role model in the 70s on San Fran, which I mentioned. He also had an important role in San Franis Son. He didn't have a long role, but he played Officer Smith. Y' all know that Hoppy and Smitty. And it was the first moment where black America had to. That's not true either. Don't want you talking about.
E
Keep going, bro.
D
You know, we can see your face.
E
I'm not saying nothing, bro, but we can see your.
D
Okay, so one of the great comedy bits in San Francisco would be that they would come and the white officer didn't understand the slang and then he Wouldn't he would interpret it for him. And so it was one of those moments of like. Of joking about black America and white America in two different Americas. So he was part of one of the most classic comedy bits in the recurring comedy bits on the show. Y' all disagree with that? Or we good? Was that good? And also he played on lots of other things, whether it's Private Benjamin. We saw him with roles in good times. We see. Seen him in lots of things, doing lots of stuff. He was a great actor. And by all accounts, he was a great person, a great mentor, One of those people in Hollywood that people often looked up to and often was a shining example. And the fact that he worked. He's from Columbus, Ohio, started doing this part time in his 20s and was able to act and work up into his late 80s, early 90s, is a testament to how talented he was and how important he was to us. So this dialogue notwithstanding, we. We love you, we honor you, you are a legend. And we say, rest in peace to the Williams family.
E
Rest in peace.
B
Rest in peace.
A
Rest in peace.
E
Well said.
A
Rest in peace. That was well said, Mark, except for that one little lie you told. That's what I'm saying. The eulogy would have been cool without the lie. You need that one. Cause that gave me time to Google the black dads. TV dads from the 70s.
D
The black TV dads. Name them.
A
The first ones to come up. James Evans Sr. John Amos. Fred Sanford, played by Rick Fox. George Jefferson. What do you know? Names I named George Jefferson.
D
How old were his kids?
C
They was grown.
D
Grown again. They wouldn't let black men raise children. It's so funny. Cause this entire show, subtext is Mark attacks black men. Mark don't fuck with straight black men. And I'm sitting there trying to honor straight black men for being a father and raising his children. And y' all the ones shitting on him.
A
You not the one that should honor straight black men.
D
Don't ask me to do about.
A
You're not. You shouldn't.
D
I'll do yours. That'll make it easy.
A
That ain't gonna help.
D
That's my point.
A
They got Tom Willis, white. Yeah, I know. Dr. Jason Wright.
D
Who's that?
A
The strict but caring father on Super Train.
D
Oh, Super Train. The classic show that everybody talks about.
A
Go ahead. I added. What's happening?
D
His dad wasn't even around. He didn't even. He was around. I mean, he was there, but he didn't even show up. So Roger was his name. Roger's dad was Bill. Bill never showed up.
A
He.
D
He was on like, four episodes. What the are y' all talking about?
A
Wait, wait, hold up. Will Smith dad.
D
Who y say Will Smith dad.
A
Will Smith dad.
D
Will Smith dad. Oh, you talking about 20 years later.
A
No, no, no. I'm talking about.
D
He said, oh, he was that Wilson. I understood that. He's like, look, I got to do
A
yo Rest in peace. How Williams, man, Rest in peace. Oh, that was funny. Said he wanted a gun.
D
Y' all said, this guy raising his kids.
C
I was thinking the whole time, like, nobody
A
with you, girl, bro.
C
Whatever. It's petty. But seriously, though, nobody. Nobody in the world ever was like, yo, you know my favorite CD dad is the. From 227. Said who? You know Lester. Cuz I think Lester's biggest, bigger role was more the whistle used to flirt with him or something. Right?
D
Y' all don't say it on the kick.
A
Say never.
D
Please do.
E
Nah, cuz that's insensitive. To who? How Williams.
D
Right now we want to be sensitive to.
A
Al Williams, was it dad? Who's a dad on Living Single?
C
Kyle
A
just naming Martin pops.
C
Martin ain't handled my dad either.
A
Oh, ducktails.
C
Let me.
A
Let me tell y something.
C
In reality, John Amos quit that ass show because they wouldn't. They weren't able to ever lead a projects that was these. These would get so close.
D
That's not why. Because they wouldn't let him be a great dad. They made JJ be the center in the clown show. It wasn't about the leaving the projects. They were good with the projects. It was about J.J. being. Being cool.
C
The dialogue always thought that that's why the heat.
E
The dialogue switched from them having a family dynamic to JJ just being a goof. And that's what they started to focus on. So they killed him off the show,
D
even though he did a lot of child abuse of that.
C
Cuz they do remember Penny got burnt.
D
Remember Michael brought a friend over for the weekend and he beat him, too.
C
Damn, he beat the front.
D
Yeah, used to.
C
I gotta watch that. That was so depressing to me. Like, I knew even as a kid this isn't right. We shouldn't be enjoying this.
E
Okay?
C
And I never liked it.
A
No, that was funny. The disrespectful. Just be funny.
D
Man, I cannot wait for this clip to go out.
A
We got to stop.
C
Why?
A
I'm putting this on my gram. I can't wait for it to go out.
D
You said it be out tonight before the.
A
Yeah, send this to my fault.
E
No, she. You know what's going to happen, though.
D
What then?
E
They going to make the best Joe Button rapper caption at the bottom.
A
It's going to just. I'm about to name so many dad rapper captions. Ozark dad,
B
Walter White, Homer Simpson.
A
Oh, hell, yeah.
E
Homer, definitely.
A
Come on now.
D
He only choked Bart every episode.
A
Al Bundy, another one.
E
Sure.
A
All right. Paulie Shore, you right. All right. I don't. Yeah, throw everybody in it. All right. I don't have anything else. Just a reminder to y', all, the mayor of Atlantic City is coming in next week, so
C
if you want to rumble, you know I got you coming
A
up here on Tuesday. Hold me down.
C
Ain't no one on ones at the jbp. Just know that part.
A
Hold me down. Hold me down. He's coming up here. I don't have anything else in my phone that really need to hit.
E
Are y' all shocked that Karisha left Boss Mandelo's tour?
C
Nah.
A
Am I shocked? No. I'm not shocked at all. Then, is it? I mean, it happens all the time in tours. I'm about to say, is it up?
E
But it ain't up.
A
It ain't. It really ain't up.
E
I can't open right now, son. Yeah, sorry.
B
Got a hit. Sorry.
A
A hit.
C
Hit. Damn. Is that hit enough for her to run around with?
A
Yes.
D
Yes.
C
Damn. I'm happy for her, though.
E
I put it this way. They just put that she's one of the headliners of Summer Jam now.
C
Shut up.
A
Even funnier, they just said she's working on a full length album.
C
For what? She might as well just do that song over and over and over, different versions.
A
That's how I know she caught one. Oh, we want some more of this shit from this lady. I thought we was good. Anyway, I'm waiting for Caresha to come up here, so let me. Shut up. Yeah. Cause you know I get phony when they come.
E
Oh, for sure.
D
Oh, yeah, for sure, girl.
A
When is the album? I'm the phoniest.
E
Let me hear something now. Let me hear something.
C
Please. Let me be be here.
A
You got some heat. Oh, plug up, Ice. Come on.
C
Cannot be here.
A
Yeah, you can be here. They be asking for you. They be asking you and Flip. For real. They really do. Okay. Any of y' all got something?
B
I think we did.
D
I think we did.
C
Well one time, right? I got to this DV situation.
A
Yeah, I know we do, Dave.
B
Take us out of the very song provoke over here.
A
Why not? This one of my happy records to me. Listen, man, hopefully y' all Enjoyed this broadcast. As much as we enjoy delivering it to you. I had a lot of fun today.
D
Me too.
B
Me too.
A
No, I really did. I really did. Keep us in your prayers. Lord knows we need to be there. Until the next time our biggest. You would do. Yo really had a lot of fun today. Keep us in your prayers. Yada yada yada. Until next time, we bid you ado farewell. Adio. Cerebra dirchi. Hasta la vista. Au revoir. So long goodbye or a simple head novel suffice. Remember, life is a series of moments and moments past. So let's make this one last as if it's all we have. And last, but certainly not least. The baddies are insecure. The stagnant women want to travel. And the closed minded women want you to teach them things. Grab you a Tylenol, you might need it. All got criminal bodies, innocent faces. Come around and we have a ball. Odds is they start telling me they hardship regardless. They end up wanting hard dick.
B
Odds.
A
Tell me how long are we supposed to. We won't never get on track like this. How can I ever tell you how I feel if you react? What y' all on this weekend? What y' all on this weekend? What we doing? What we doing? What we doing out there? Yo, go see Odyssey, y'.
D

IMAX theater, it is worth it.

E
Y' all moving around?
D
What's happening? I had a. I had a family trip to the Poconos for the weekend. But this air, we canceled it. So it's gonna be Odyssey and staying home.
B

B
Yeah. See what Bernie Sanders up to you.
A
Nice.
E
That's coming from. Coming from Detroit Midwest and swinging over.
A
Freeze. What you want do to this weekend?
E
I'm going to see Odyssey, man.
C
Mona, I'm off for once.
A
Hey, Big Mona. Good, good. Gonna get some resting. Dick gonna get some rest in P.E. i think so. I think so.
C
Our minstrels on. We announced.
A
Oh yeah, you got. Oh yeah. And get some more tampons, cuz they all play. You out there having a ball player. Ball player after ball player. I mean you with the ball players more than ball players. Hope they ain't you.
D
And making me
A
a hard time while they get one of you. If this what you want to do with me, you get an attitude. You get all stuck up. Stop calling me your up till I tell you. Shut the up. But the part I don't respect is you so cool with every other one of your exes. It's history between us all ain't right either back and forth domestic, all in flights. Either be wanting you close to me. Supposedly you say you wo for me that just come across as a joke to me. Cuz you ain't got the kind of love that expires. Worst case, you'll get tired.
B
Tell your friend.
A
Yo, when is the World cup over with?
B
This Sunday.
A
Thank the Jesus. Thank you, man. God, enough now. Sunday enough. I'm trying to go to my favorite Italian restaurant over there at American Dream, and I can't a good restaurant over
B
there's a third place game actually.
E
So inside the mall.
A
Yeah, it's a really good Italian restaurant inside that mall, like one of the better ones. Anyway, I will be in the house away from the fog, away from the smog. I ain't got too much going on. If I catch an IMAX ticket slipping, then I might go see Odyssey again. What else, what else? What else?
C
That's it?
A
That's all that's on the agenda? Nothing going on? Going on. Y' all hold it down out there. Hopefully y' all enjoyed this. We'll be back same time, same place next week. You a cause all your misery. Of course I disagree. You going off on history. All that argument just ain't my style. Cause that anger now got us like strangers. Now you tell me I should get help and I'm sick in the head. You found makeup on the sheets. Add a pitch in our bedroom.
D
Yeah, you like the how Williams rappers.
A
Hey, yo, Duff. Happy birthday, boy. Happy birthday, Duke. Come as a blessing now you keep bringing up my last girl like sh. My past girl like you ain't the reason she present.
C
Check it.
A
You ain't got worried about me and her. Yeah, it ain't a versy. We ain't throwing some gaslighting in there. Let's throw some gas light together. Trip clubs, have fun together. But that's Donald Sweater.
C
Huh?
A
All right.
C
Nose. Nose.
A
No, no, no, no. You've never heard of Joe Button? Jbp.
C
Jbp?
A
Where would you be without the JBP
D
from the Web and Nitty era? It's the network.
Episode 947 | "Dragons and Dinosaurs"
Release Date: July 18, 2026
Podcast Network: The Joe Budden Network
This episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, titled "Dragons and Dinosaurs," features the crew tackling a slow news week with signature humor, off-the-wall debates, and wide-ranging discussions. The cast dives into everything from air quality and conspiracy theories about wildfires, to the existence of dragons and dinosaurs, parsing what we "know" versus what we're told by science and culture. The show then pivots to reviews of Christopher Nolan's new film "Odyssey," the shifting role of famous people, music drops, listener questions, and a flurry of classic, irreverent banter.
The tone is lively and conspiratorial, with the cast frequently breaking into laughter, teasing each other, and challenging each other's logic, especially around their less-plausible takes. This deeply conversational episode oscillates between highbrow (debating the reliability of scientific narratives) and lowbrow (porno socks, jail stories, and 'HR violations'), all while never taking themselves too seriously.

“He was part of that generation, that first generation of whole black families that we saw on television.” (176:41 – Mark)
"How was he one of the great [TV dads]?" (174:13 – Mona) "Let me give this man his eulogy and y'all can disagree after!" (176:31 – Mark)
Laughter: This show is full of raucous, overlapping laughter, inside jokes, and call-backs—especially when discussions veer into absurd territory (horse dicks, rogue raccoons, the HR zone).
Debates & Contradictions: A constant churn of argument, from philosophical (what is truth?) to the petty (who gets to sit in the second row at Knicks games?) to sharply personal (who in here is actually famous?).
Cultural Commentary: The cast uses their platform to riff on and challenge Black culture codes—money, parenting, car choices, street vs. legitimate business, and famous-person behavior.

Whether debating whether dragons are real, reviewing blockbuster films, or eulogizing the Nissan Altima and Hal Williams, the energy never wanes. The cast’s chemistry, willingness to roast and be roasted, and their blend of logic and nonsense keeps listeners engaged and laughing.
Final Thought:
"Life is a series of moments and moments past, so let's make this one last as if it's all we have." (187:54 – Joe, closing words)
Recommendation:
This is a must-listen for both fans and newcomers—especially if you like your podcasts wild, funny, and unfiltered, with just enough substance to keep you thinking long after the laughter stops.
