Member fdic. Oh my God. Hey, welcome back to my theatre themed YouTube channel and also my life. Today's video, as you may have inferred from the title, is a big personal life update, but it does also relate to the theatre. Stay with me. Now, back in the summer of 2022, I introduced you to, and I quote, my stagey boyfriend, Aaron James. I can't look there. I need to look here. But my face is up there and it's very distracting and your face is up there and that's Very distracting.
Aaron James
You didn't say. Oh, my God. Hi.
Mickey Jo
Oh, my. What a moment. And this is. Oh, my God. Hey.
Chase/Dr. Horton/Carl's Jr. Advertiser
Yeah.
Mickey Jo
I have a name. Aaron. I didn't notice that on the harmonies. In Love who youo Love that they swap harmony lines. Shh, shh, shh. You stand there and look pretty. A little bit later, he became my stagey fiance and we told you the story of how we got engaged.
Aaron James
We have the rings, which means it's happening, which makes me nervous.
Mickey Jo
And we got engaged.
Instacart/Grow Therapy/Chase Advertiser
Yay.
Mickey Jo
I'm pretty sure it was a fake pigeon. I'm still convinced at this point it wasn't real pigeon.
Aaron James
By the time we got back.
Mickey Jo
Well, yeah, no, now I know. But at the time.
Aaron James
Yeah, you were so certain.
Mickey Jo
Since then, he and I have been sharing with you videos of our theatre going trips around the world. But in three years, there has been very little progress on the wedding front. I've often joked to friends and family that we've been so busy with opening night performances, the only way I was ever going to end up at my own wedding was if somebody invited me. Oh, my God. Pigeon just landed on his head. So here we are. That's Dover, Newfoundland, down there. I mean, it's gorgeous and it's an incredible day for it. There you go. So if you come here, you have to recreate it for yourselves. However, finally we have made some substantial progress and we are both ready to tell you all about it. Aaron, come join me. Come join me. Oh, thank you.
Aaron James
This is how excited he was.
Mickey Jo
Okay, so this is just to really preempt the whole conversation here. This is my wedding day bag. I've become slightly obsessed with statement bags and this one is clearly matrimonial. And it's like you don't want to have to be carrying, like, your phone and like, your things. I don't want to disrupt the lining of a suit. Anyway, we're here to tell you about what we have planned thus far for our somewhat Stagey wedding in 2027. So true to form and on brand, and in a move that's going to surprise absolutely no one, Aaron and I are going to get married at a theatre. Yes. But for the benefit of our privacy as well as our family and friends and everyone who's going to be there, we aren't going to tell you exactly when or which one until after it's happened. Do we want to talk a little bit about why we decided to get. I mean, beyond the fact that it's us, why we wanted to get married at a theatre?
Aaron James
We're both from very different parts of the uk.
Mickey Jo
Yes.
Aaron James
So we're. I grew up in Wolverhampton and the West Midlands.
Mickey Jo
I'm from the south coast. We could see France on a good day.
Aaron James
And so it meant that we didn't really have, like, the perfect shared location. And we kind of gathered that we didn't want one side of our family to have to travel and we were not. Yeah. And we wanted to find somewhere that felt special to us, that, like, just made sense, really.
Mickey Jo
Yeah. Neither of us was entering into this engagement with, like, a childhood dream of where they'd always wanted to get married. And so we hadn't really given it much thought. And we pretty quickly came to the conclusion, like, it would be really special if we could get married at a theatre.
Aaron James
And then whenever we mentioned it to friends, they were like, well, obviously. Or people already just expected that that was what we were gonna say. They're like, well, obviously you're gonna get married in a theater. And we're like, yeah.
Mickey Jo
So the short version of this story is that for the longest part of our engagement, we really were through only fault of our own making, just no progress, because we were just enjoying being engaged and life was incredibly busy. Last summer we finally started talking to a brilliant and very enthusiastic theatre about the possibility of getting married there. And towards the end of last year, we went to the wedding of a couple of our friends in New York who are both very involved with Broadway and professional theatre. And it was a little less. I mean, it was a lot less traditional wedding.
Aaron James
It was very different. It was a show.
Mickey Jo
It was more like downtown cabaret with guests.
Aaron James
Yeah, it was like people performed that they had strong relationship with. There were Broadway performers on the stage, some iconic names. Yeah, really. And also in attendance, just there to celebrate. And it just felt like such a. So true to them and so true to who they are. And I think as soon as we both experienced that from the day after it, we both said, we want it to be theatrical, we want it to be. We know that most of the people that are going to be invited are going to be theatre people. So being. It just feels like we'll get. What we want is to that feel of our lives and all of the theatre being there, that feeling, what you get in a theater. Because for a lot of people, theatre is like church.
Mickey Jo
So, like, it is for us a really sacred place. And it's as a concept, been a through line, obviously, in our relationship. It's also the thing that brought us together and how we met initially, but that Definitely affirmed, like having been to however many traditional weddings and not being able to really conceive of the possibility beyond that. We went to that and we were like, oh, this can be a wedding too. We can really have what it is that we want.
Aaron James
And I think, like it reminded me how much of an importance I feel like it is for everybody. Has a great time and that, that's.
Mickey Jo
That always plays on my mind.
Aaron James
Yeah. Like it's an event. Like we want it to feel like an event and we want it to feel like so true to us.
Mickey Jo
That's the big. Can I say that's the biggest stress of wedding planning is like, I'm going to enjoy this. I want to make sure everyone else doesn't hate it. That's the thing that's making me anxious.
Aaron James
Yeah. I think my whole. My thoughts are always like. I think especially as recently we've been to wedding like multiple weddings, which I'd never had before. Very eye opening to weddings in the past couple of years is kind of knowing that everybody's put so much effort into getting there to your wedding and then and spend money to be there and everything like that. But you just really want to make sure that it all feels worth it. And I know that that's not the focus of it and you should like, everybody's like, put yourself first for a wedding. But I think it's to see everybody else beaming and just having fun then just makes it feel even more relaxing and thingy in my head.
Mickey Jo
We traveled to another wedding of friends of ours earlier this year. Yeah, in March. In the meantime, we'd been talking to this theatre who still determinedly were like, we want to try and make this happen. But had been navigating throughout this time a challenging chapter. It's a brilliant theatre. They're doing incredible things. I enjoy going there. It's completely understandable that like they haven't been in a position to make our wedding their biggest priority. I think for a lot of theaters these years, re emerging from shutdown have been met with challenge.
Aaron James
And also just in general, like the difference between trying to find somewhere to get married that is a theatre compared to a normal wedding venue is so much more complicated. Shows. Yeah, like shows have seasons theater.
Mickey Jo
And if it's a busy theatre, that's. Yeah, that's doing a lot of things.
Aaron James
It's very hard to find a gap when you could get married in a theater. And also like theatres that have done a wedding before so know what to do and they can manage the different things that you do. It's not totally similar that you've got
Mickey Jo
to go through, but also, it was at this more recent wedding that I think we both went, oh, we just want to make this happen now.
Aaron James
As soon as we came back from that wedding, it was kind of like, okay, now I want to experience this. Like, I just want to be married now.
Mickey Jo
Yeah. And we put a little thing out on Instagram, being like, we have some sense of the theaters where you can do this, but please let us know of any that we haven't thought of. And then through that, we had several different conversations and we arrived at this conclusion that we somehow hadn't thought of, but is kind of more perfect for us than anything we had planned previously.
Aaron James
I kind of can't believe this discussion didn't happen. And it has. And it's just like, oh, I'm very excited. Yeah, it's very exciting.
Mickey Jo
So, for the benefit of anyone who is watching this with personal curiosity, or perhaps who doesn't even know who we are, but is curious about the concept of being able to get married at a theatre, I'm happy to do a deep dive about this and kind of let you know my findings because we had to do an awful lot of research. And it's a complicated answer because it depends a lot on whether you want to have a legally binding marriage ceremony with a registrar and everything. In which case you need a theatre that is licensed as a wedding venue, of which there are a handful, but
Aaron James
there's not that many.
Mickey Jo
No, no. And it's not all of them. There are a few in London, but there's also. There's a kind of a list of some of them that are proper working theatres with a lot going on. Like, you can get married at the San Wanamaker Playhouse at Shakespeare's Globe. You can get married at the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford Upon Avon. I don't know if they have formally reopened that since the lockdown, but it's still on their website. You can get Marri.
Aaron James
It's the National Theatre's League of.
Mickey Jo
They have a deck. Yeah, they have a space, but it's not in the auditorium. This is the other thing. Like Theatre Royal Drury Lane. You can get married in the building. It's not on the stage. I joked for the longest time that, like, why would we get married at Drury Lane? This was when Frozen was there. I was like, why would we go there if not to get married on the set of Elsa's Ice palace with, like, a wedding outfit reveal. Anyway, the other side of this is there are a bunch of theaters that are not producing houses that don't take, like, big, frequent tours. In London, you've got Wilton's Music Hall. It's this historic, gorgeous area. A lot of theatre people in London tend to get married there. It's very popular. You've also got, I think. Is it the Bridport Electric Theatre?
Aaron James
That sounds right. Yeah.
Mickey Jo
Down on the south coast. In any case, there's a whole range of theatres that are a little quieter and so they do wedding packages and they're a little bit more involved in that. Then you have this third option, which is venues that aren't necessarily licensed for weddings, but you could have your own version of a ceremony there and certainly you can have a reception, so you could have it.
Aaron James
You can basically get a celebrant there, do the service, do everything like that, Basically do your full wedding there. Just the legal part of you getting married, you would have to go to a. Like your council's town, Village hall, town
Mickey Jo
hall, registry office, options.
Aaron James
Yeah, registry office. You'd have to go there and do the legal parts with the council on the day before, the day after, to make sure that it's the legally binding part. But you'd have a celebrant who would basically lead it all. So it would be the wedding that you dreamed of.
Mickey Jo
Yeah. We had a recommendation from a friend who was in the industry of an incredible celebrant, who we're really excited to be building our wedding day with. Can't wait for this. And she kind of opened our eyes to not just the possibility, but the ease in many ways, and sort of the greater wealth of choice that you get by doing it that way, by viewing it as like. The legal part is something that you go and do and you get it done and then you have a wedding day where you get to control every single aspect of the day and every single aspect of the ceremony. There's no legal technicality or requirement. It can be exactly what you want it to be. And I think, because we were already of a mindset of like non traditional. I mean, by the time it's like a gay wedding in a theatre tradition is fairly out the window.
Aaron James
But then also, it's interesting that I didn't really think about this until we spoke to any of our American friends. Oh, yeah. Which is. That's what happens in America. Like they're getting the papers and the documents and the license is a thing you go and do and then you have the wedding. And that's not as specifically said, what happened. So like then it's only like, oh, well, different countries. Just that is. That's the norm. Like, that's how they view that. All of our friends, American friends said it like that. It's like, oh, okay.
Mickey Jo
All of this to say we are doing that we are not getting married at an actual licensed wedding venue. Which I think in some ways makes it a little bit more unique and special. It also, it's not in London. We're not doing the London thing. It would not be good for the blood pressure of I think relatives on both sides.
Aaron James
It's that. And also I totally get how people can love it and it doesn't faze
Mickey Jo
them but like it's very convenient in many ways.
Aaron James
But coming out of like your wedding and it being just like daily life in London, like people commuters, people work like taxis.
Mickey Jo
We realized this at our friend's destination wedding. Yeah, it's like this gorgeous vineyard and it was secluded and that was like the entire world was this wedding. And this day.
Aaron James
I don't want to have a traffic.
Mickey Jo
You come out of the high of your wedding and someone is simply commuting.
Aaron James
Yeah, no, I just, I will be
Mickey Jo
so it's a tour group.
Aaron James
I will suddenly feel so perceived and I don't need that. And like, like, sure. It's just not, it's just not us. It's like going to that. I think genuinely those two weddings have helped so much. I realized on both of them I was like, well, now I know like how this speaks to me and what I'm suddenly aware of in myself of how I'm gonna feel on the day. But I just wouldn't. I don't think I would have known until being at a wedding and being like, no, I get it now.
Mickey Jo
So that's our advice is go to weddings to make weddings.
Instacart/Grow Therapy/Chase Advertiser
Y.
Mickey Jo
Now, habitually we share an awful lot of our lives. Online travel vlogs, weekly vlogs. We figured some people may still be curious to kind of find out what we were planning and see a little bit of the wedding. There is going to be like what you would imagine as a wedding video. But we're hoping to also kind of put together a slightly more informal vlog style coverage of that as well to share here so that it can kind of feel like vicariously you've had the chance to come and see our wedding. I also might do. I'm not going to do a whole load of wedding content in the run up to it, but I could do a video talking about this idea of like the theatres where you could get married and ideas about how you can make your wedding a little bit more theatrical. On that subject, do you want to touch on, without spoiling things, some of the sort of most obvious ideas of how we might be bringing theatre into our wedding and how other people can do the same, like the first things that people talk about.
Aaron James
So I think one thing for us is like
Instacart/Grow Therapy/Chase Advertiser
Instacart understands that not all bananas are created equal. Some people want them green, some people want them ripe, some people want them ready right now. Aaron James
People get like a program of the day and a certain thing and then we're like, obviously. And I know other friends have done these as well, which is a lot
Mickey Jo
of other theatre people have done these. This is not like, no, this isn't a particularly original idea. It's just kind of, I think before we even thought about a venue we were like, obviously we're gonna do this, which is Playbills.
Aaron James
Yeah, we're gonna have our programs to make sure that everybody has a little program that talks through the day. The plans, who everybody is.
Mickey Jo
The story of our love.
Aaron James
Story of our love. The rundown of the show. We need to tell people what the numbers are, where they're going to be at what time. Food. Food.
Mickey Jo
Food's important.
Aaron James
Menu. Although we're sorting that out before people arrive. I can't be dealing with people choosing on the day. No offense.
Mickey Jo
Anyway. Anyway.
Aaron James
That's one of the few new things for them.
Mickey Jo
Anyway. You also learned that wedding breakfast is not something you eat in the morning.
Aaron James
Oh, I did not understand that. Vas was always like, why are we speaking so much about breakfast the morning after?
Mickey Jo
It is a silly name.
Aaron James
Because it's not in the morning. Okay.
Mickey Jo
Another thing I'd at 8am Anyway. Decoratively. Playbill's an easy way of kind of like bringing a little bit of theatre
Aaron James
into your wedding and naming your tables.
Mickey Jo
Table names.
Aaron James
Table names is a great way of introducing it. Fun stagy references and decorations on the table is always great.
Mickey Jo
I think whenever I try and think about like leading into theatricality even more with decorations. I mean you can kind of like, if you're like a kind of art deco venue, you can do sort of somewhat theatrical things and like red velvet curtains and like light bulbs. Every time I think about like theatre can be the entire aesthetic of like the musical theatre canon can be very garish and like, look at the wall behind me and the cushions and the multicolored everything. And I sometimes don't think that's necessarily conducive to. To a wedding. And I wonder about theming it like to one of your favorite musicals. My mind immediately went to Les Mis and like Phantoms. Also smoking barricade tables. Phantom probably. Oh, I'm sure someone's done a Phantom of the Opera themed wedding. Multiple thousand percent.
Aaron James
So many.
Mickey Jo
Can't believe I hadn't thought about that before.
Aaron James
Phantom. Yes. Masquerade. I wonder if somebody's already got married in the Masquerade building.
Mickey Jo
Yeah.
Aaron James
Or is planning it because they've done like balls and stuff in there already.
Mickey Jo
That'd be great. Why didn't we think of that? And we are getting married in this
Aaron James
country, by the way.
Mickey Jo
Yeah, we are. We are getting married in England.
Aaron James
We're also like no destination wedding. No, not for us.
Chase/Dr. Horton/Carl's Jr. Advertiser
No.
Mickey Jo
That's a lot to think about in terms of our outfit. I'm not telling you anything about what we're wearing or what other people are wearing, but it's not necessarily. There's not a lot of staginess to be found in that for us.
Aaron James
No.
Mickey Jo
And even bigger way of including your love of theatre in a wedding though. And something that we're exploring in a couple of different ways is with entertainment and with music. And I know of various other couples. I know of a couple, one of whom is A notable podcast personality. They got Louise Dearman to sing at their wedding.
Aaron James
It's very fun.
Mickey Jo
Like, there are a lot of professional musical theatre performers who I'm sure will be happy to sing at weddings or have done.
Aaron James
Yeah, yeah. Well, that's part of their yearly thing.
Mickey Jo
And regardless of who your entertainment providers are, you can kind of, like, include those songs and those stories. I think a lot of musical theatre songs are really ripe for use in weddings because there's so many love songs and it's storytelling songs and it's ballads. I Googled at one point, like, musical theatre songs about weddings specifically, and all I could get were these lists of, like, great musical theatre songs to play at your wedding and, like, your first dance, of which we do have a decision and you will find out in due course what it is. It is stagey, and I would be surprised if anyone guesses it, but it was a lot of, like, all I ask of you was on that list and sort of things like that. But, yeah, that's both a hint at stuff that we're planning and a suggestion of what you can do for yourselves. All of this to let you know that we are definitely having a theatrical wedding. But not like, it's not a bonanza.
Aaron James
No.
Mickey Jo
Unless. Well, depending on your expectation, maybe some people will look at what we're planning and think it is a bonanza.
Aaron James
I mean, true.
Mickey Jo
Are there any other topics that we want to discuss? Stag do.
Aaron James
We don't know what's happening yet.
Mickey Jo
Correct.
Aaron James
That's a whole different thing.
Mickey Jo
We've never been to Magic Mike Live.
Instacart/Grow Therapy/Chase Advertiser
If.
Aaron James
No, no, no, no, no, no. Veto. Veto.
Mickey Jo
What are the other wedding things that people. I mean, we've been up to our ears in all of this planning.
Aaron James
Honestly, we might have wedding conversations we've had.
Mickey Jo
I'm thinking about shoes. I'm thinking about cakes.
Aaron James
It's interesting.
Mickey Jo
Oh.
Aaron James
If you're getting married in a theater, you do have to decide where are your audience sitting? Are they sitting in the auditorium or on the stage? Because you can do both ways around.
Mickey Jo
That's a thing.
Aaron James
You've got a smaller amount of people. Of guests on this stage. I thought was quite cute. Because Bristol Olive Auditorium does that.
Mickey Jo
Yeah, Bristol Old Vic does that. For one reason.
Aaron James
You'd have the auditorium as your backdrop, which I think then feels less like we need to, like, will it look weird of this? But also, and I didn't think about this until we had the chat about our wedding was, do you want to decide where people sit or not? Because it's A different system when they have a seating plan and they can
Mickey Jo
do tickets, which I think is actually a miracle. But I'm a person who likes to be as controlling as possible. So to give me the option to, like, take that choice away from all of the guests and pre assign them.
Aaron James
But also it helps people. They don't have to stress about getting in there first or anything.
Mickey Jo
Why don't we tell you about the honeymoon that we have been planning? This I think we can talk about in great detail.
Aaron James
Yeah.
Mickey Jo
In many ways, the honeymoon has been the thing that has forced the hand of the wedding.
Aaron James
And also the honeymoon has been, like, written and planned so much earlier than when it even decided.
Mickey Jo
I actually did enter into this relationship with an idea of what I wanted my honeymoon to be. But then we did that already on our first ever Disney cruise, because I'd always said I wanted to spend it swimming with pigs.
Aaron James
You did want to swim with pigs. And I've done that.
Mickey Jo
I've done that. And it was amazing. And then I was like, okay, now we can do your honeymoon idea, which was to go to Disney World. Because I've never been.
Aaron James
Yeah, Mickey's never been. Unbelievably, a big thing about it was because she'd never been. And because I haven't been since I was like 10.
Mickey Jo
When Aaron went to Disney World last, he thought that Haunted Mansion was going
Aaron James
to be, oh, I didn't do right. I didn't really do right. So I didn't appreciate. And I don't think. I don't think as a teenager, Ovie, you really appreciate everything about it. And I feel like it's not really
Mickey Jo
for kids, it's mostly for adults.
Aaron James
And I feel like as an adult, I, like, now understand, like, oh, my gosh, the hotels and the decor and the Epcot. Now it feels like the place for adults.
Mickey Jo
I can't wait to go to Epcot.
Aaron James
But all these things, and since we've done more things and met more people and learned more things, I'm like, and we watch Disney vlogs.
Mickey Jo
That's kind of what we do to relax.
Aaron James
Yeah. When we're.
Mickey Jo
The few moments when we're not looking at theatre content or talking about theatre or going to the theatre or getting back from the theatre or sitting down talking to a camera about theatre. We watch Disney World vlogs.
Aaron James
Yeah. There's a time situation because obviously work and theatre calendars.
Mickey Jo
This has been the big thing.
Aaron James
Yeah.
Mickey Jo
And this is why it was like, there was two good times of year when a wedding could happen. If we wanted the honeymoon to be sort of realistically after and not before, because that doesn't make sense. And not months after, which we also didn't really want in terms of the alignment of the West End calendar, in which we work very closely, and the Broadway calendar, in which we try to follow, which is a lot easier because it's more condensed. There are only a couple of times of year when very little is happening. One of those is weirdly in September or sort of like July, August. But those are not good times to, like Fringe. Those are expensive times to try and get married and go on honeymoon. And also Fringe is happening in Edinburgh. The other is January and early February, and it's the end of the West End season. So there may be a slew of openings, but Broadway's still only really gearing
Aaron James
up and they're mainly in February and like, you can normally catch them all still. Yeah, it's not as hard because we live in the uk, so we had
Mickey Jo
basically carved out a little bit of time. We were like, this would be a good time to go on honeymoon. Can we get married right before that? And that is what we are attempting to do.
Aaron James
And it works because theatres often, that's the one period of time where they just don't have a show.
Mickey Jo
Yeah. And I'm so excited about this honeymoon because we travel a lot and we have very exciting lives and we get to do a lot of very fun things. And I don't want to seem ungrateful for that, but it is almost always some kind of a work trip and a lot of the daytimes are spent working. Spent either creating and editing content or posting stuff that I worked really hard and tirelessly to make in advance editing on the plane. Like, there's not a lot of genuine.
Aaron James
You don't get to realization. And just to be able to focus on what's happening, not sending emails and to not be constantly feeling like you're behind or you need to catch up on something. Yeah.
Mickey Jo
And so Broadway wouldn't be a honeymoon for us. Broadway would be another week at the Office, basically. And so we knew we needed something that was going to be removed from all of that enough, but still something that we would really love. And so it's gonna be Disney World for a decent chunk of time with a Disney cruise in the middle.
Aaron James
Because we now know we love it.
Mickey Jo
That's something we've been discovering. We've done two of them over the past couple years. And so we were like, that's good. And I think that's a good way. Obviously it's not an inexpensive way of doing it, but it's a good way of really relaxing. Because theme parks every day can be intense and sometimes you need a holiday
Aaron James
from the holiday and let's let's what
Mickey Jo
are you going to say?
Aaron James
Let's talk about

Mickey Jo as he said, he's constantly working or you know, my version of
Mickey Jo
switching off looks different to other people's.
Aaron James
So what will happen is as soon as we arrive or head there, he will have planned and set up systems on the app.
Mickey Jo
I will be on the app.
Aaron James
I will be booking things. He'll be checking for things.
Mickey Jo
Do you know some of my favorite moments in Disney is when I turned in Disneyland Paris where we got engaged is when I'll turn to you and be like, I've got three. Like I'm entertaining multiple different, like dinner bookings. I didn't tell you, but I made one earlier just as a cursory booking. But we now have this one that's come up checking wait times. You've got to be like, you got to be in it And I'm and
Aaron James
character hunting and being like we need to see those characters. One of us in line for one and you're getting ready for the other one. Or like keeping an eye to check.
Mickey Jo
Oh, is this a different one eyeline to the. Yeah, yeah.
Aaron James
This also to switch off. You will have to understand that this will be his version of switching off.
Mickey Jo
Yes.
Aaron James
But on a cruise at least it's like. As for Paul, I run out of
Mickey Jo
things to like you don't run out of things to do. But there comes a point where I have to relax. Yes. And they have shows.
Aaron James
Yeah. So just Walt Disney World. I really want you to see. Finding new movies.
Mickey Jo
I'm excited. Go with the plan.
Aaron James
There's so many shows that I think there that it'll be fun to.
Mickey Jo
And initially I'd said to really switch off to not be working. I'm not going to have a camera in my hand. We're not going to do any vlogging. Then a few months ago and we hadn't really done this and we might start doing it a bit more. It had been, I think long enough since our first New York trip that we were like why don't we watch one of our own vlogs Back and so long ago it was like, I mean we look so young and we
Aaron James
were meeting Kate for the first time
Mickey Jo
but I'd forgotten a lot of the details of what happened. So now it's less cringe and it's more like oh yeah. And I think in years to come we might regret having. If we have so many vlogs of our trips and we don't have a honeymoon one I thought would be sad. And so I will briefly vlog each day and there's going to be enough days that that's still going to be a substantial vlog. But if you want to see that then I am more than happy to share a one off. It's not going to be multi parts. It might be three hours long. But I will if people want to see it, post our slightly stagey mostly Disney honeymoon vlog. And to that end a lot of people. I'm only saying this because people have left messages asking about this. We do have a public wedding registry. The link to which I will share in the comments. In the description of this video, it is not actual specific things because I guess like traditional wedding gifts are mostly cookware and we're not home much. There are different ways on the wedding registry that people can support the honeymoon fund that we are putting together and any and all support is hugely appreciated. Which isn't to say that you have to. By the way, it is nice and wonderful enough that anyone even cares to watch this video or comment on it or whatever. There is no expectation. But also don't think that, like, a $1 or £1 honeymoon donation, like, is nothing because a few thousand of you tend to watch these videos. And so that might actually be incredibly help. We think that that is everything that we need to update you on about our wedding plans. I might make a video or two, probably just the one about kind of theatrical wedding planning and the possibility of venues between now and the wedding early next year. But otherwise, this is something that we're going to be doing a lot of planning on in the background. If it seems like over the past couple of weeks, like, we've spent a little less time at the theatre seeing shows, if we've missed a couple of things, it's because an awful lot of our time has been devoted to having
Aaron James
meetings about this, setting things up, talking to people, making sure dates align, really
Mickey Jo
putting wheels in motion. Because we're trying to turn all of this around in a time frame that some people have expressed doubt about, but seems thus far to be working for us.
Aaron James
We know that a lot of people do this, like 12 months in advance, 24 months in advance, and we're trying to do it in, like, less than that.
Mickey Jo
Yeah, for now, that is all. Aaron, my bag child and I have to tell you about our upcoming wedding plans. Thank you for caring. If you do, that's incredibly sweet. I know that people have occasionally asked and wanted an update about this, which is why we're letting you know we finally can. Yeah. But I'm really excited beyond this video to be able to share with you once we have, like, pictures and footage of the actual wedding. You will find all of that here on YouTube. You will find it on both of our Instagram pages. I will remind you there is a registry link in the comments in the description of this video. If you want to help be a part of supporting that in any way, There is no expectation, really. It's just lovely to feel the support of however many tiny people in my camera. So thank you all so much. That's all we have to say. Stay tuned to see more about that in the new year. And as always, we hope that everyone is staying safe and that you have a stagey day.
